Abstract

This research aims to describe the effectiveness of the Assure model with an axiological study perspective in learning Indonesian biographical texts in class X IPS 3 SMA Negeri 7 Bandar Lampung. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The data source in this research is the context of Indonesian language teaching and learning activities in class X IPS 3 with biographical text material. The data in this research is in the form of applying the Assure learning model to biographical text material. The data collection technique is observation in the form of recording and observing learning activities and interviews, while the technical analysis used is data triangulation. Based on the results of research and discussion, the application of the assure model is effective in learning biographical texts in class X IPS 3 SMA Negeri 7 Bandar Lampung. Effectiveness is marked by the results of calculations in accordance with the assessment guidelines, namely a score of 68 with effective criteria. This is also similar to the definition of axiology which has benefits for something, in this case, namely the usefulness of the assure model in learning Indonesian with biographical text material and is supported. by APKG I to assess the RPP that has been designed and APKG II to look at learning practices by applying the Assure model. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keefektifan model Assure dengan perspektif kajian aksiologi dalam pembelajaran bahasa indonesia teks biografi di kelas X IPS 3 SMA Negeri 7 Bandar Lampung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini berupa konteks kegiatan belajar mengajar Bahasa Indonesia di kelas X IPS 3 dengan materi teks biografi. Adapun data dalam penelitian ini berupa penerapan model pembelajaran Assure pada materi teks biografi. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah observasi berupa kegiatan mencatat dan mengamati kegiatan pembelajaran dan wawancara, sedangkan teknis analisis yang digunakan yaitu menggunakan triangulasi data. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan bahwa penerapan model assure efektif diterapkan dalam pembelajaran teks biografi di kelas X IPS 3 SMA Negeri 7 Bandar Lampung. Keefektifan ditandai oleh hasil penghitungan sesuai dengan pedoman penilaian yakni diperoleh nilai 68 dengan kriteria efektif hal tersebut juga merupakan hal yang serupa dengan definisi dari aksiologi yang memiliki manfaat terhadap suatu hal dalam hal ini yaitu kebermanfaatan model assure dalam pembelajaran bahasa indonesia dengan materi teks biografi serta didukung oleh APKG I untuk menillai RPP yang telah rancang serta APKG II untuk melihat praktik pembelajaran dengan menerapkan model Assure.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe Widya Al Falah's creative process as the author of the short story Rain of Light and its implementation in the design of literature lessons in grade IX junior high school. This research was conducted to overcome problems in class IX junior high school regarding the design of short story anthologies. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. The results showed that there was a series of creative processes that Widya Al Falah went through as the author of the short story anthology Rain of Light in writing his works. Widya's creative process starts from the urge to write, activities before writing, activities during writing, to activities after writing. All the activities that Widya went through were inseparable from his personal background. Starting from the reasons for writing, conducting interviews before writing, the repetitive activities that are carried out while writing, to the point where the work is finished being written, all reflect Widya's cultural, religious and educational background. All of Widya's creative processes are very appropriate to be used as inspiration in creating effective and interesting learning, can be used as learning material or implemented into RPP designs (Learning Implementation Plans)Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk mendeskripsikan proses kreatif Widya Al Falah sebagai pengarang antologi cerpen Hujan Cahaya dan implementasinya pada rancangan pembelajaran sastra di SMP kelas IX. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang terdapat di SMP kelas IX tentang perancangan antologi cerpen. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya rangkaian proses kreatif yang dilalui oleh Widya  Al Falah sebagai pengarang antologi cerpen Hujan Cahaya dalam menulis karya-karyanya. Proses kreatif Widya  dimulai dari dorongan untuk menulis, kegitan sebelum menulis, kegiatan selama menulis, hingga kegiatan setelah menulis. Seluruh kegiatan yang dilalui Widya  tidak lepas dari latar belakang pribadinya. Mulai dari alasan menulis, melakukan wawancara terlebih dahulu sebelum menulis, kegiatan berulang yang dilakukan saat menulis, hingga sampai pada tahap karya selesai ditulis semua sangat mencerminkan latar belakang budaya, agama, dan pendidikan Widya. Semua proses kreatif Widya ini sangat layak untuk dijadikan inspirasi dalam menciptakan pembelajaran yang efektif dan menarik, dapat dijadikan sebagai materi pembelajaran maupun diimplementasikan ke dalam rancangan RPP (Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran).

Abstract

Language politeness plays a role in building a good relationship with someone, because language politeness can make interactions run smoothly and effectively. Seeing this phenomenon, the researcher conducted a study with the aim of describing the types of language principles in speaker interactions. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with a pragmatic approach and is supported by Roland Barthes' semiotic theory. Then in collecting data, the researcher uses three techniques, namely: free listening technique, observation of the phenomenon, and requires sharp researcher instincts. After the data is obtained, then the researcher classifies the data and analyzes it using the concept of politeness principles. The results of this study show that the speakers in the film Miracle in Cell No. 7, which focuses on the meaning of verbal and nonverbal communication conveyed by Mr. Dodo as a person with a disability, that every human being has its own way of communicating, and Mr. Dodo's way can be said to be unique. Therefore, researchers are interested in knowing how Mr. Dodo expresses his feelings as part of semiotics and describes the types of language politeness principles as a pragmatic theory.Kesantunan berbahasa berperan dalam membangun hubungan baik dengan seseorang, karena kesantunan berbahasa dapat membuat interaksi berjalan lancar dan efektif. Melihat fenomena tersebut, peneliti melakukan penelitian dengan tujuan untuk mendeskripsikan jenis-jenis prinsip bahasa dalam interaksi penutur. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan pragmatis dan didukung oleh teori semiotika Roland Barthes. Kemudian dalam pengumpulan data, peneliti menggunakan tiga teknik, yaitu: teknik mendengarkan bebas, observasi terhadap fenomena, dan memerlukan naluri peneliti yang tajam. Setelah data diperoleh, selanjutnya peneliti mengklasifikasikan data dan menganalisisnya dengan menggunakan konsep prinsip kesantunan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pemateri dalam film Keajaiban di Sel No. 7 yang menitikberatkan pada makna komunikasi verbal dan nonverbal yang disampaikan oleh Pak Dodo sebagai seorang penyandang disabilitas, bahwa setiap manusia mempunyai caranya masing-masing. berkomunikasi, dan cara Pak Dodo bisa dikatakan unik. Oleh karena itu, peneliti tertarik untuk mengetahui bagaimana Pak Dodo mengungkapkan perasaannya sebagai bagian dari semiotika dan menguraikan jenis-jenis prinsip kesantunan berbahasa sebagai teori pragmatis.Keywords: Pragmatics of Politeness Principles, Politeness Strategies, Roland Barthes Semiotics.

Abstract

utilizing Prezi applications on biography text material. The research technique is the research and development approach that employs the DDD-E model (Decide, Design, Develop, and Evaluate). The primary outcome of this research is Indonesian language learning media created with the Prezi application. The quality of Indonesian language learning media utilizing the Prezi application is extremely feasible based on the product development process, which includes product validation by experts (material expert, media expert, and practitioner expert validations). Students from SMAN 5 Bandar Lampung were the research subjects. The researchers also performed a small-scale trial with ten randomly chosen students and a large-scale trial with thirty students. The product feasibility test at SMAN 5 Bandar Lampung yielded a percentage feasibility score of 92.83 (very feasible). The developed media is likely appropriate for use in the learning process. This research, however, was only limited to the development stage. It is envisaged that this media will be tested for effectiveness.

Abstract

This research discusses the role of technology in the representation of the true people in Nano Riantiarno's play "Demonstran". Using Roland Barthes' semiotic approach, this research aims to identify signs that represent the true people in the context of the play. Through digital media, elements such as stage settings, costumes, visual settings, music, background sounds, and sound effects are used to strengthen the representation of the people. This research explores how technology affects the way folk representations are understood and received by the audience. As such, it contributes to the understanding of the relationship between technology, semiotics and folk representation in the context of performing arts.

Abstract

The importance of analyzing directive speech acts in preschool-aged children needs to be carried out to see how preschool-aged children act. At pre-school age, children experience rapid language development. Understanding the speech acts of pre-school children helps parents and educators support the language learning process effectively. The research was conducted at Timezone Lampung City Mall, this research data is directive speech acts of preschool children aged 5-6 years. The research subjects were children aged 5-6 years who played at Timezone Lampung City Mall. Based on the results, it can be seen that the forms of directive speech acts found in preschool children (5-6 years) at Timezone Lampung City Mall are in the form of requests, questions, commands, prohibitions and advice. There were no directive speech acts found in children's speech. The results of the research show that children's early speech repertoires are limited, transitional, and imperfectly language-like to a certain extent. Most of the linguistic forms acquired by children are expressions that lack the characteristics of syntactic combinations in adult language. The most dominant types of directive speech acts that often appear in the speech of preschool aged children are the types of directive speech acts of questions and commands. These two types of directive speech acts are the most prominent and are widely used by children to ask, order, and ask to remind.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to examine the conversational context of 3 year old children in interpersonal communication in the family environment. The context of the conversation of the research subject is the conversation carried out by the subject with all members of his family, namely father, mother and grandmother. The type of research is descriptive qualitative research, the analysis was carried out on a 3 year old child named Haura who lives in Terbanggi Besar, Lampung. Based on the results, it can be seen how overall the dialogue can be answered well by the subject with very good responses in dialogue with family members. There are still pronunciation errors and the loss of some foems in conversations between subjects and family members. This pronunciation error is very normal because some consonants are difficult for 3 year old children to pronounce, this can be caused by environmental factors which may not teach sound pronunciation correctly and continuously. Therefore, in this dialogue, it can be said that the interpersonal conversation between the subject and the family members is in the good category because they can understand the question sentences asked by the family members well even though the pronunciation is unclear due to difficulty pronouncing phoneme sounds that are unfamiliar to hear and difficult to imitate.

Abstract

Conversational implicatures are hidden expressions of intent that can occur in various speech situations, one of which is in interpersonal contact between children and parents. This research aims to describe the timing of the use of conversational implicatures in children's communication with their parents when they occur. This type of research is qualitative research with research data in the form of words in conversational speech which are indicated to contain implicatures in them. Data collection was carried out by observation using listening techniques and note-taking techniques. The approach used is a pragmatic approach by utilizing implicature theory. The results of the research show that speech implicatures in interpersonal contact between children and parents occur when going to school and going to the Al-Quran Education Park. Pragmatic speech in interpersonal contact between parents and their children contains many conversational implicatures which are directive in nature, namely commands and requests.

Abstract

Kisah Tiga Pangeran merupakan cerita rakyat dari Sumatera Selatan yang banyak menyajikan hal menarik untuk dikaji secara mendalam. Salah satu dari hal menarik tersebut adalah berkaitan dengan penggunaan bahasa, khususnya pada strategi kesantunan berbahasa yang digunakan oleh tokoh-tokoh ceritanya. Penelitian ini bertujuan menguraikan strategi kesantunan berbahasa yang digunakan tokoh cerita dalam Kisah Tiga Pangeran. Kajian ini menekankan pada teori kesantunan berbahasa yang dikemukakan oleh Brown & Levinson, yakni seputar penyelamatan muka. Semua orang yang rasional mempunyai muka yang harus dijaga dan dipelihara. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Data penelitian berwujud kutipan kalimat yang dikumpulkan melalui teknik baca-catat. Analisis data dilakukan dengan teknik interaktif yakni teknik analisis data dengan menyajikan data dalam bentuk visualisasi berupa tabel dan narasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tokoh cerita dalam Kisah Tiga Pangeran menggunakan beragam strategi untuk dapat berbahasa secara santun. Strategi yang digunakan para tokoh cerita terbagi ke dalam dua jenis, yakni strategi kesantunan negatif dan strategi kesantunan positif. Strategi kesantunan negatif direalisasikan dengan cara memberikan pertanyaan, meminimalkan paksaan, memberikan penghormatan, meminta maaf, dan menggunakan tuturan berpagar. Adapun strategi kesantunan positif direalisasikan dengan cara melibatkan penutur dan lawan tutur dalam aktivitas, memperhatikan keinginan lawan tutur, membesar-besarkan perhatian dan simpati kepada lawan tutur, serta menyatakan hubungan secara timbal balik. Selain itu, strategi kesantunan positif juga dilakukan tokoh cerita dengan cara menggunakan penanda identitas kelompok, mengintensifkan perhatian penutur dengan mendramatisasi peristiwa atau fakta, memberikan hadiah (barang, simpati, perhatian, kerja sama) kepada lawan tutur, memberikan tawaran atau janji, dan menunjukkan hal-hal yang dianggap memiliki kesamaan. Kisah Tiga Pangeran merupakan cerita rakyat dari Sumatera Selatan yang banyak menyajikan hal menarik untuk dikaji secara mendalam. Abstract

According to literature, a child’s request is always addressed to a specific person or group of people. To our knowledge, however, studies on language use, interactions, and social dimensions in relation to request making to an interlocutor are uncommon in the Indonesian context; therefore, we sought to describe the considerations taken by children when making requests. Forty children between the ages of 6 and 10 took part in this qualitative study. We collected data using observation and field notes. The collected data were subsequently analyzed using an interactive model. The findings indicate that the majority of children's requests are directed toward interlocutors who are classified as having an extremely close relationship. In contrast, children never make direct requests to interlocutors classified as quite distant or extremely distant. The findings also indicate that requests made to interlocutors with a higher social status than children use a particular verbal form based on the nature of the request and the implied context. In contrast to reality, requests made to interlocutors with a lower social status are more likely to be made directly. It is hoped that the findings of this study will contribute to pragmatic and speech-related theories, as well as to improvements in language education based on a communicative and contextual approach that returns language to its primary function as a tool for communication and places language learning in a meaningful context.
