Abstract

Pemahaman konsep persatuan dan kesatuan merupakan aspek penting pendidikan dasar, terutama keragaman latar belakang peserta didik. Namun, banyak peserta didik mengalami kesulitan memahami materi. Penelitian bertujuan meningkatkan pemahaman konsep persatuan dan kesatuan pada peserta didik kelas V SD Negeri Kabangan menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning melalui media game interaktif Educaplay. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas karena permasalahan dijelaskan dengan rincian deskriptif dan perhitungan kuantitatif. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi, dan tes (pretest dan posttest). Teknik validitas menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan metode. Penelitian dilaksanakan tiga siklus dengan empat tahap yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Guru menggunakan model problem based learning dan Educaplay untuk menarik perhatian peserta didik. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan ketuntasan pada setiap siklusnya, yaitu siklus I = 41,67% , siklus II = 75%, siklus III = 91,67%. Berdasarkan data tersebut disimpulkan penggunaan model pembelajaran problem based learning melalui media game interaktif  Educaplay pada setiap siklusnya mengalami peningkatan.

Abstract

Teachers play a central role in creating effective reading literacy learning for elementary school students, encompassing technical skills, comprehension, reasoning, and critical use of information. This study aims to analyze the role of teachers, describe strategies for reading literacy learning, and identify challenges faced by teachers. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through learning observations, in-depth interviews with classroom teachers, and analysis of Lesson Plan (RPP) documents at SDN Celep 02 Sukoharjo. The results show that teachers act as facilitators, motivators, and reader models by implementing strategies such as reading aloud, integrated discussions, and guided reading assignments tailored to students' abilities. Teachers also strive to create a learning environment that supports reading habits, but still face obstacles such as limited time, a lack of variety in teaching materials, and difficulties in handling students with low initial reading abilities. The conclusion of this study confirms that optimizing reading literacy learning requires ongoing support through teacher professional development, diverse learning resources, and supportive school policies.

Abstract

This literature review is motivated by the rapid development of digital technology and the increasingly widespread use of social media among students, especially TikTok social media, which has presented opportunities as well as challenges in the world of education, especially in learning Indonesian in elementary schools based on instilling character values. This study aims to evaluate the results of research related to the use of TikTok in supporting Indonesian language learning and shaping students' character. The study method used is a literature review of various scientific articles in the last five years that discuss the relationship between TikTok use, learning motivation, language skills, and student character.  The results of the study show that TikTok can increase students' motivation, learning engagement, and speaking skills, as well as foster character values such as self-confidence, social awareness, and creativity. However, the findings also indicate that without proper supervision, the use of TikTok can have negative impacts such as the use of non-standard language and decreased polite behavior. Therefore, a planned pedagogical strategy is needed as well as the active role of teachers and parents in filtering and interpreting the content consumed and produced by students. In conclusion, TikTok has the potential to be an innovative learning media that supports language literacy and character building if used wisely and educatively.

Abstract

The problem of differentiated learning in improving reading ability is increasingly complex along with the diversity of student needs and the development of educational technology. Although there has been a lot of research in this field, there has been no biliometric study that systematically maps the development of the research. This study aims to analyze the trends and developments of differentiated learning research in the context of improving reading ability through a bibliometric approach. The research method used bibliometric analysis of 1,459 documents from the Scopus database for the 2014-2024 period, including analysis of publication trends, collaboration patterns, and mapping research topics using VOSviewer. The results of the study revealed three main findings: (1) there was a significant increase in the number of publications, especially after 2019, reaching more than 250 publications in 2024; (2) the collaboration pattern shows the dominance of institutions from the United States (400 publications), followed by China and Germany (125 publications each); (3) Keyword co- occurrence analysis reveals the evolution of research focus from conventional approaches to technology integration and learning innovation, with "differentiated instruction" as the central node that is connected to various aspects of reading learning. The implications of this research lie in understanding research trends and patterns that can help educators develop more effective differentiated learning approaches.

Abstract

Bentuk komunikasi guru memiliki peranan penting dalam membentuk self-esteem dan keterampilan berbicara peserta didik di sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji bentuk komunikasi guru dalam pembelajaran dalam membentuk self-esteem dan keterampilan berbicara di sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan observasi dan wawancara. Komunikasi efektif antara guru dan peserta didik sangat penting dalam proses pembelajaran, tidak hanya untuk mentransfer pengetahuan, tetapi juga keterampilan dan nilai-nilai. Keterampilan abad ke-21, seperti berpikir kritis, kreativitas, kolaborasi, dan komunikasi, diperlukan agar peserta didik siap menghadapi tantangan masa depan. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa komunikasi verbal dan nonverbal yang efektif dapat meningkatkan rasa percaya diri dan pemahaman peserta didik. Namun, temuan lapangan menunjukkan bahwa beberapa peserta didik mengalami self-esteem rendah, yang mempengaruhi partisipasi aktif mereka dalam pembelajaran. Studi ini menyimpulkan bahwa bentuk komunikasi yang tepat dapat membantu meningkatkan self-esteem dan kemampuan berbicara peserta didik, serta menyarankan perlunya model komunikasi yang lebih terstruktur untuk mendukung keberhasilan pembelajaran.

Abstract

Continuous upright writing (menulis tegak bersambung) is a fundamental literacy skill that requires fine motor coordination and cognitive self-regulation, yet individual differences in students’ ability to manage their own learning processes may account for variations in writing quality. This study aims to analyze the influence of self-regulated learning on the continuous upright writing skills of 4th grade elementary school students in Wonogiri Regency. The research uses an Ex Post Facto method with a correlational design. The research population is grade 4 students from 5 elementary schools in Wonogiri with a total sample of 78 students selected by purposive sampling. The research instrument used a self-regulated learning questionnaire adapted from the Zimmerman model and a continuous upright writing skill test which was assessed based on the aspects of readability, letter shape accuracy, and fluency. Data analysis used product moment correlation test and simple linear regression. The results showed a significant positive correlation between self-regulated learning and continuous upright writing skills (r = 0.687; p < 0.01). Regression analysis showed that self-regulated learning contributed 47.2% to the variation in continuous upright writing skills. Students with high levels of self-regulated learning have better continuous upright writing skills than students with low levels of self-regulated learning. This study emphasizes the importance of developing self-regulated learning skills as a strategy to improve the continuous upright writing skills of elementary school students.

Abstract

Pembelajaran IPAS yang diajarkan di sekolah mampu membuat peserta didik memiliki daya pikir yang kritis, aktif, dan ingin tahu dengan penerapan Problem Based Learning.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa pembelajaran IPAS di kelas IV SD Negeri Kabangan memiliki tingkat `keaktifan peserta didik yang rendah sehingga hal tersebut dapat mempengaruhi tujuan pembelajaran pada mata pelajaran IPAS. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik dengan penerapan Problem Based Learning berbantu Wordwall.. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas kolaboratif dengan subjek penelitian pada peserta didik kelas IV SD Negeri Kabangan 1) Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi, penelitian dilakukan dengn 3 siklus dengan masing-masing siklus terdapat satu pertemuan pada setiap siklusnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dengan berbantu Wordwall  di SD Negeri  Kabangan  Kelas IV dapat meningkatkan berpikir kritis, kreativitas dan keaktifan peserta didik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar dan kurangnya keaktifan dari peserta didik kelas 5B di SD Negeri Nayu Surakarta. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keaktifan dan hasil belajar peserta didik dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning pada materi rantai makanan kelas 5B di SDN Nayu Surakarta. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (Classroom Action Research). Subjek penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas 5B semester I pada tahun pelajaran 2024/2025 yang berjumlah 27 peserta didik. Penelitian dilakukan dalam 2 siklus. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian menggunakan lembar observasi, tes, dokumentasi dan catatan lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan pembelajaran pada materi rantai makanan dapat meningkatkan keaktifan dan hasil belajar peserta didik. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari keaktifan peserta didik dari siklus 1 sebesar 45% meningkat pada siklus II sebesar 70%. Begitu juga dengan hasil belajar peserta didik dari siklus 1 sebesar 70% meningkat pada siklus II sebesar 100% Terbukti bahwa model pembelajaran Project Based Learning dapat meningkatkan keaktifan dan hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi rantai makanan kelas 5B di SDN Nayu Surakarta.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of critical thinking skills on the essay writing ability of elementary school students. The research was conducted at SDN Gugus Gajah Mada Giriwoyo using a quantitative ex post facto approach. The research sample consisted of 52 students determined through cluster random sampling techniques. Critical thinking skills data were obtained based on scores on several essay questions, while essay writing skills were measured based on indicators of coherence, cohesion, sentence structure, and idea development. Data analysis employed descriptive statistics, normality tests, validity tests, and simple regression analyses. The results showed that critical thinking skills had a significant impact on the ability to write essays, accounting for 37% of the variance. These findings confirm the importance of integrating critical thinking-based learning in literacy learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas 4B SD Negeri Nayu melalui penerapan metode Project-Based Learning (PJBL) dan pendekatan Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) pada semester satu tahun ajaran 2024/2025. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam motivasi belajar siswa, dengan frekuensi pengungkapannya meningkat dari 28,58% pada siklus I menjadi 67,86% pada siklus II. Rata-rata nilai hasil belajar matematika juga meningkat dari 50,37 menjadi 69,62 pada siklus I, dan mencapai 81,8 pada posttest siklus II. Penerapan metode PJBL dan pendekatan CRT terbukti efektif dalam menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang lebih menarik dan relevan, yang pada gilirannya meningkatkan keterlibatan dan prestasi akademis siswa. Rekomendasi untuk penelitian selanjutnya mencakup pengembangan metode inovatif lain yang sejalan dengan kebutuhan dan karakteristik siswa.
