Abstract

Teachers must master information and communication technology (ICT) because the lack of it will cause them to fall behind, making the teaching profession challenging. The training activity focuses on three learning tools, namely word wall, peardeck, and storyline. The steps involved in this training include: (1) Providing initial understanding of the importance of learning tool applications, (2) giving examples of how to use learning tools in teaching, (3) practicing the utilization of learning tools, (4) providing mentoring and direct practice in the use of learning tools in teaching, and (5) distributing questionnaires about the training implementation to the participants. The training program provides many benefits, such as: (1) increasing the effectiveness of teaching, (2) optimizing students' learning experience, (3) improving teachers' digital competence and creativity, (4) helping to overcome obstacles in using technology for teaching, (5) ultimately improving student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The cultural approach as a social studies learning resource can be carried out using ethnography-based outdoor learning methods for elementary school students. It adopts a quantitative research methodology employing experimental techniques. The population used is class V (fifth-grade) students in a sub-district. The number of students identified was 172. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Purposive sampling was utilized to select participants, dividing them into experimental and control groups. The quasi-experimental approach employed a posttest-only design with a nonequivalent group procedure. Hypothesis testing was selected to further examine the relationship between the independent and dependent variables. Multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA), was employed to analyze questionnaire responses and learning results, yielding a significant value of 0.000, which is less than 0.005, thus accepting the alternative hypothesis (Ha). The findings indicate statistically significant influence of ethnography-based outdoor learning activities for both students’ engagement and academic performance in fifth-grade classrooms. These results underscore the potential of integrating indigenous knowledge-based learning innovations into elementary education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan representasi siswa SD dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita pada materi pecahan ditinjau dari kemampuan matematika dan jenis kelamin. Dalam aspek kemampuan matematika, siswa dibagi menjadi tiga kelompok, meliputi; (1) berkemampuan tinggi, (2) berkemampuan Sedang, (3) berkemampuan rendah. Jenis kelamin yang dipilih dalam ppenelitian ini adalah laki-laki dan perempuan.Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Dalam metode ini menggunakan 6 subjek penelitian, terdiri dari 3 subjek laki-laki dan 3 subjek perempuan.Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, pada pemecahan soal cerita pecahan siswa yang memiliki kemampuan matematika tinggi mampu mengungkapkan kembali data dari teks tertulis ke representasi pemecahan soal cerita pecahan dengan jelas. Sedangkan siswa yang memiliki kemampuan matematika sedang kurang maksimal dalam mengungkapkan kembali data dari teks tertulis ke representasi pemecahan soal cerita pecahan. Sedangkan siswa yang memiliki kemampuan matematika rendah kurang maksimal dalam mengungkapkan kembali data dari teks tertulis ke representasi pemecahan soal cerita pecahan. Keenam subjek menggunakan representasi simbolik dan verbal dalam menyajikan kembali informasi yang telah dibaca pada soal. Keenam subjek mengungkap ide-ide atau rencana untuk menyelesaikan masalah yang diberikan berdasarkan data yang diperoleh dalam bentuk kata-kata. Keenam subjek menjawab soal dengan menggunakan simbol matematika.

Abstract

Standar mutu bangsa yang berkembang adalah kualitas pendidikan yang baik. Kualitas pendidikan yang baik ditentukan oleh kompetensi dan kualitas guru yang baik. Permsalahan kualitas guru yang rendah di Indonesia membuat sebagian orang bertanya-tanya akan kualitas pendidikan di Indonesia. Melalui metode studi pustaka ini dikaji kompetensi guru, permasalahan guru, upaya peningkatan kualitas guru, dan korelasi peningkatan kualitas guru dengan peningkatan mutu pendidikan dari berbagai sumber pustaka. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa 1) kepala sekolah dan pemerintah terkait memberikan dorongan dan pemantauan kinerja guru, dengan harapan tidak ada guru yang malas untuk berkembang; 2) mengoptimalkan kelompok kerja guru di setiap gugus, kecamatan, hingga kabupaten; 3) memberikan bantuan beasiswa untuk meningkatkan standar keilmuan guru; 4) mendorong peran aktif guru dalam program pemerintah termasuk sekolah penggerak dan guru penggerak; 5) meningkatkan kolaborasi dari berbagai pihak. Dengan mengetahui gabaran kualitas guru harapannya kedepan kualitas guru semakin baik dan memberikan daya dorong terhadap peningkatan kualitas pendidikan di Indonesia. Mulai dari tingkat sekolah dasar hingga pergurun tinggi diharapkan mampu meningkatkan kolaborasi untuk memajukan pendidikan Indonesia.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan media pembelajaran google sites yang valid, praktis, dan efektif. Penelitian ini termasuk ke dalam penelitian dan pengembangan atau research and development (R&D. Produk media pembelajaran dibuat menggunakan platfrom google sites dengan model pengembangan ASSURE. Berdasarkan hasil analisis validitas diperoleh persentase sebesar 82,9% (valid), kepraktisan sebesar 90,6% (sangat praktis), dan efektifitas menunjukkan  nilai rata-rata pretest siswa sebesar 67,81 meningkat pada tahap posttest sebesar 84,69. Sementara hasil observasi menunjukkan perbandingan aktivitas siswa sebelum dan setelah pembelajaran menggunakan media pembelajaran google sites sebesar 53,7%. Sementara persentase peningkatan kemampuan numerasi, dapat dilihat dari ketuntasan hasil belajar sebesar 81,25%.

Abstract

This study aims to know the effectiveness of leaflets and video educational media in the knowledge of type 2 diabetes mellitus patients in the inpatient room of RSUD Beriman Balikpapan. The methodology used is a quasi-experimental study with a pretest and posttest research design with control group. The intervention group used video media and the control group used leaflet media. The results obtained were that the average patient knowledge increased in the experimental group, which was 50.90, ± 8,228 SD before the intervention, increasing to 81.37, ± 9,615 SD after the intervention. In the control group, the mean knowledge of patients before the intervention was 55.75, ± 7,036 SD, increasing after the intervention to 84.18, ± 9,895 SD. The P-Value value is 0.000 < 0.05 from the results of the analysis of the difference in knowledge between the experimental group and the control group after the intervention shows that there is a significant difference between the two; so that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. This means that nutritional counseling using video and leaflet media can increase knowledge about Diabetes Mellitus and video media is more effective than leaflet media. The providing nutritional counseling using video media was more effective than using leaflet media in increasing the knowledge of Diabetes Mellitus patients in the inpatient ward of the Beriman Balikpapan Regional Hospital.

Abstract

This research aims to understand the tourism ecosystem as a complex phenomenon. The study attempts to design aspects that can advance the tourism sector, such as linkage, value chain, and interconnectivity systems. To maximize the tourism sector, the support of the BGCM (business, government, community, academic, and media) is needed to run as well as possible. Research conducted in Borobudur Yogyakarta Prambanan (BYP). This research uses the method of explorative descriptive research with a qualitative approach, aimed at studying objects naturally and in depth, where the researcher is the key instrument. The results of this study resulted in a road map of Sustainable Tourism Development relating to the application and issues of sustainable tourism with the optimization of the role of BGCM.  BGCM has a role in creating tourism benefits that yield to the community and the environment in the National Strategic Tourism Area.

Abstract

This study aims to establish a framework that integrates planning and implementation programs for sustainable tourism development in Indonesia, providing a guide for stakeholders to unify understanding and drive policy agreements. The framework emphasizes concise, transparent, measurable, and adjustable principles for monitoring Sustainable Tourism Development (STD) guidelines. Using methodologies including surveys, case studies, comparative studies, time and motion analysis, and documentation analysis, this research identifies key elements and characteristics of sustainable tourism phenomena. The findings highlight the critical role of stakeholders in monitoring sustainable tourism through periodic reporting processes led by the Sustainable Tourism Observatory (STO). Government bodies, academic institutions, and community stakeholders collaboratively develop sustainable travel destinations, fostering accelerated tourism growth and sustainability in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research aim of this research is to determine the relationship between consumption patterns and physical activity with the nutritional status of senior United Woodball damai athletes in Kutai Kartanegara Regency. The research method uses an quantitative approach with a cross sectional research desain. Have The sample, namely all senior woodball athletes at damai United, Kutai Kartanegara Regency, is known to be 21 people by taking total sampling data. The independent variables are consumption patterns and physical activity of athletes obtained by interviews using the SQ-FFQ form questionnaire and 24-hour physical activity recall interviews using the PAL formula. Data analysis using the chi-square test shows that there is a significant relationship between consumption patterns and athletes' nutritional status (p-value = 0.02) in contrast to the physical activity variable which does not have a significant relationship with athletes' nutritional status (p-value = 0 .31). Conclusion, research shows that there is a significant relationship between consumption patterns and athletes' nutritional status and the physical activity variable which does not have a significant relationship with nutritional status of senior United Woodball damai athletes in Kutai Kartanegara Regency. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan kurikulum merdeka pada sekolah penggerak dalam membentuk karakter profil pelajar Pancasila peserta didik sekolah dasar di SDN 3 Tlanak Kabupaten Lamongan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan menggunakan analisis fenomenologis. Data dikumpulkan dengan teknik wawancara kepada kepala sekolah, dan guru yang menerapkan kurikulum merdeka, dokumentasi, dan observasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan triangulasi data sebagai bentuk kevalidan dan keabsahan data. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa dalam mengimplementasi kurikulum merdeka melalui kegiatan intrakulikuler dan P5 menjadikan peserta didik memiliki karakter profil pelajar Pancasila. Peserta didik diberikan beragam kegiatan pembelajaran sesuai minat dan kebutuhan. Kurikulum merdeka memiliki potensi dalam mewujudkan profil pelajar Pancasila apabila dalam implementasinya adanya kolaborasi yang baik antara kepala sekolah, guru, peserta didik, orang tua, serta masyarakat
