Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan klasifikasi pertanyaan siswa kelas VIII dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia SMPIT Iqra’ Kota Bengkulu. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Populasi dan sampel pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMPIT Iqra’ Kota Bengkulu. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasi. Metode observasi adalah teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan melalui sesuatu pengamatan, dengan disertai pencatatan-pencatatan terhadap keadaan atau perilaku objek sasaran. Metode observasi pada pengumpulan data ini yaitu kegiatan observasi non partisipan, dimana kegiatan ini merupakan proses pengamatan yang melibatkan kegiatan pengamatan terhadap partisipan tanpa berpartisipasi secara aktif, dimana pilihan ini digunakan untuk memahami suatu fenomena dengan memasuki komunitas atau sistem sosial yang terlibat, sambil tetap terpisah dari aktivitas yang diamati. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa klasifikasi pertanyaan siswa kelas VIII SMPIT Iqra’ Kota Bengkulu termasuk kategori jenis pertanyaan masih pada tingkat LOTS (Low Order Thinking Skill) karena hanya kisaran jenjang C-1 sampai C-2. Hasil analisis kemunculan pertanyaan yang diajukan oleh siswa di kelas VIII dalam enam kali pertemuan dan dari dua jenis materi pembelajaran sebanyak 40 buah pertanyaan, kemudian jenis pertanyaan siswa yang muncul terdapat pada jenis pertanyaan jenjang C-1 (mengetahui) sebanyak 16 buah pertanyaan dan jenis pertanyaan jenjang C-2 (memahami) sebanyak 24 buah pertanyaan. Jenjang pertanyaan-pertanyaan tersebut, lebih sering diajukan oleh siswa kepada guru pada saat proses pembelajaran berlangsung. Dari jumlah keseluruhan pertanyaan yang diajukan siswa jika dipersentasekan maka diperoleh jenjang C1 sebanyak 40%, kemudian jenjang C2 sebanyak 60%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji semiotika dalam iklan sabun Lux versi Soft Touch. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif yang akan menggambarkan peristiwa atau fenomena yang terjadi secara objektif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa tahap-tahap semiotika Roland Bather ,yaitu tahap denotasi, konotasi, dan mitos membuat makna tersirat dari iklan sabun Lux versi soft touch diketahui. Pada tahap denotasi, tanda yang terdapat dalam wacana iklan sabun Lux versi soft touch adalah perempuan yang mandi dengan sabun Lux di bath tub membuat tubuhnya harum dan lembut serta dapat menggoda pasangannya. Selanjutnya, pada tahap konotasi, sabun Lux ini memakai keharuman bunga. Bunga  merupakan simbol karena keharuman dan bentuknya yang indah. Bunga juga merupakan lambang ungkapan perasaan cinta. Pembuatan sabun ini bertujuan untuk membangkitkan getaran cinta pada setiap pasangan. Terakhir, pada tahap mitos, ada enam mitos yang ditemukan dalam wacana iklan sabun Lux versi soft touch ini, yaitu (1) Keharuman bunga yang khas dapat membangkitkan suasana yang romantis. Hal ini dikaitkan dengan bunga sebagai lambang cinta; (2) para perempuan sebaiknya berinisiatif menggoda pasangannya sehingga getaran cinta antara mereka bangkit kembali; (3) perempuan menyukai perawatan kecantikan yang murah dan praktis; (4) laki-laki suka perempuan yang memakai pakaian agak terbuka dan berwarna cerah; (5) jika cinta sudah melekat di mana pun pasangan itu berada, dunia serasa hanya milik mereka berdua; dan (6) Semakin tinggi kelas sosialnya, maka semakin modern dan cenderung meniru gaya hidup orang eropa.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the ability to write short story review texts for class XI students of SMA Negeri 4 Bengkulu City. The method used in this study is a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The research sample amounted to 60 students from the total population. The sampling technique applied is random sampling. The data collection used was a test technique in the form of assigning students to write a review of the short story Pustaka Papa by Yovi Guantara Tanjung. The results showed that the students' ability to write short story reviews was good with an average score of 71.12. In the aspect of structure is quite adequate with the average score obtained by students 23.11, aspects of sentence use are classified as good with an average value of 16.40, aspects of word selection or diction are classified as good with an average value of 15.72, aspects of spelling use are classified as enough with an average value of 15.82.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the fiction reading literacy abilities of class IX students at SMP Negeri 2 Bengkulu City through solving AKM model questions. This research method uses quantitative methods, with a population of all class IX students at SMP Negeri 2 Bengkulu City, totaling 393 students. Then, to determine the sample using a purposive sampling technique of 10% of the total population. This research instrument is a fiction reading literacy ability test using the AKM model with 45 questions in the form of an objective test. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive statistics. This research resulted in the discovery that literacy skills in reading fiction by class IX students of SMP Negeri 2 Bengkulu City were in the poor category with an average score of 45.41. When viewed based on the problem formulation consisting of aspects of reading literacy (1) finding information, getting an average score of 61.33 in the sufficient category, (2) interpreting and integrating, getting an average score of 67.14 in the sufficient category, evaluating and reflecting. with an average value of 7.77 which is in the very poor category.

Abstract

Speech acts in learning are important because they are a means to educate, guide, and facilitate interaction between teachers and students. Forms of speech acts have contextual meanings aimed at understanding the meaning conveyed by the teacher. The purpose of this research is to describe the forms of locutionary, locutionary, and perlocutionary speech acts in the interaction between teachers and students in learning Indonesian by 18th grade students of SMPN 15 Bengkulu Tengah. This research uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The data sources are teachers and students of class VIII of SMPN l5 lBengkulu lTengah. The data collection technique uses observation and documentation techniques. The researcher uses a research instrument in the form of a speech act classification table based on an observation table containing categories or outlines of research data and documentation in the form of audio visual recordings of teacher interactions with students in the classroom. Then the data analysis uses the following stages: recording, recording, coding, grouping data, analyzing, and presenting conclusions. The results of the study show that: (1) The locutionary speech acts that appear are in the form of notification speech. Without any intention or purpose in the communication, it is only for telling a story or simply informing. (2) The locutionary speech acts are of five types that were studied, including expressive, declarative, expressive, directive, and commissive. l As for locutionary speech acts, the dominant form of the locutionary act appears in the form of an opinion-expressing function, in the locutionary speech act, the dominant form of the locutionary act appears in the form of a prohibiting function, in the locutionary speech act, the dominant form of the locutionary act appears in the form of annoyance function, in the locutionary speech act, the dominant form of the locutionary act appears in the form of a commanding function, and in the locutionary speech act, the dominant form of the locutionary act appears in the form of a threatening function; and l (3) Perlocutionary speech acts aim to influence the speech interlocutor and have an effect. In this research, the perlocutionary speech acts that emerge are not only in the form of utterances but also actions in the form of movements of the teacher's body parts as signals that can be directly understood by students.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the learning of short story writing skills for class IX students at SMP Negeri 4 Bengkulu City. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method. The subjects in this study were teachers who carried out the planning, implementation, and assessment of learning and students who took part in learning the skills of writing short story texts for class IX of SMP Negeri 4 Bengkulu City. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documents. The results showed that at the planning stage, the teacher had fully loaded all of the RPP components, including identity, KI, and KD, formulation of indicators, formulation of learning objectives, teaching materials, learning resources, learning media, learning models, learning methods, learning steps, and assessment. All aspects of the RPP have been fully contained in the RPP prepared by the teacher based on the assessment of the RPP analysis, this is appropriate because the RPP prepared by the teacher is the result obtained from the modified subject teacher consultation (MGMP). At the implementation stage of learning, it shows that the teacher has carried out learning with a scientific approach, namely exploration, elaboration, and closure. The implementation of learning uses the Discovery Learning model through syntax, which is carried out as a form of strategy in an effort to find out through various activities so that the teacher plays a role as a guide for students. The learning assessment carried out was in accordance with the assessment technique based on the 2013 Curriculum. The teacher assessed attitudes, knowledge, and skills.

Abstract

Abstract This study set out to ascertain the reading comprehension skills of SMA Negeri 2 Kaur's class XI pupils. In this work, a descriptive method with a quantitative approach was employed. The study's population consisted of 153 students from six classes in class XI at SMA Negeri 2 Kaur, 71 of whom were male and 82 of whom were female. A random sample procedure was utilized in this study to choose participants; 24 students, or 11% of the total, were chosen. The Student Reading Comprehension Ability Test was used as the method for gathering data. According to the study's findings, the average score for reading comprehension in Indonesian was 87.5 with a high understanding category, the ability to read comprehension in Biology with an average of 85.00 with a high understanding category, the ability to read comprehension in Islamic Religious Education with a value of 85.00 with a good category, and the ability to read comprehension in Geography with a value of 85.00 with a good ability category. From the overall results, students generally showed good reading comprehension abilities in all fields of study tested. The average value ranges between 85-87.5. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the ability to write observation report texts in class VIII students of SMP Negeri 7 Bengkulu City. This study used a descriptive method with aquantitative approach. The population in this study were 211 students of class VIII B SMPNegeri 7 Bengkulu City. The sample in this study used purposive sampling, namely 14% ofthe total population, namely 30 students. The data collection technique used a test technique,namely students were given the task of writing an observation report text with a timeallocation of 60 minutes. The ability to write an observation report text was assessed from 3 aspects, namely, general definitions, part definitions, and conclusions. The data analysistechnique used in this study was simple statistics by calculating the average value. The results of this study indicate that the average value of the ability to write observation report texts in class VIII students of SMP Negeri Bengkulu City was 57.64 with a sufficient category. The average value of the ability to write observation report texts based on the general definition aspect is 15.85 with a sufficient category where students can write general descriptions but not in detail or completely only contain the definition of the object is not explained in more detail, the average ability to write observation report texts in students based on the definition aspect of the part is 25.85 with a sufficient category where students have written descriptions of parts but many students do not really describe the object specifically so that the description of the part is less in-depth, the average ability to write observation report texts in students based on the definition aspect of benefits/Conclusions is 15.92 with a sufficient category where students have written conclusions but students have not really understood what the conclusions are so that many conclusions made only repeat words in the general description and also do not match the objects observed. This study sees that students' writing abilities in observation report texts must be studied better so that students can really understand the structural parts in the observation report text.
