Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan keterampilan sosial dan hasil belajar siswa setelah pembelajaran menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe (STAD). Posttest control group design digunakan dalam penelitian eksperimen semu ini. Sampel penelitian ini adalah kelas VII A (kelompok eksperimen) dan kelas B (kelompok control) yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar observasi keterlaksanaan RPP, lembar observasi keterampilan sosial, tes hasil belajar kognitif siswa dan lembar validasi soal. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis secara deskriptif dan statistic menggunakan uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan keterampilan sosial kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok control berkategori baik. Hasil uji statistic menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara kelompok eksperimen dengan kelompok control (thitung= 1,53 < ttabel= 1,93) meskipun secara deskriptif skor rata-rata hasil belajar kelompok eksperimen lebih baik dari kelompok control (mean= 63,75 vs. mean= 50,52). Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa tidak ada pengaruh signifikan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD terhadap keterampilan sosial dan hasil belajar kognitif siswa. The Effect of the STAD Type Cooperative Learning Model on Students' Social Skills and Cognitive Learning Outcomes Abstract The purpose of this study was to describe social skills and student learning outcomes after learning using the STAD type cooperative learning model. Posttest control group design was used in this quasi-experimental research. The samples of this study were class VII A (experimental group) and class B (control group) which were selected using purposive sampling technique. The instruments used in this study were the lesson plan implementation observation sheet, social skills observation sheet, student cognitive learning outcomes test and question validation sheets. The research data were analyzed descriptively and statistically using t-test. The results showed that the social skills of the experimental group and the control group were categorized as good. The results of the statistical test showed that there was no significant difference between the experimental group and the control group (tcount= 1.53 < ttable= 1.93) although descriptively the average score of the experimental group's learning outcomes was better than the control group (mean= 63.75 vs. mean = 50.52). This study concludes that there is no significant effect of the STAD type cooperative learning model on social skills and students' cognitive learning outcomes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kesulitan yang dihadapi oleh guru IPA dalam menyusun Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP) Kurikulum 2013 di SMP Kecamatan Kediri Kabupaten Lombok Barat, serta mendeskripsikan solusi yang diberikan oleh guru IPA untuk mengatasi kesulitan tersebut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Sebanyak 10 guru IPA dari 6 sekolah SMP di Kecamatan Kediri Lombok Barat menjadi partisipan penelitian ini dan diwawancarai menggunakan angket untuk memperoleh gambaran kesulitan yang dialami oleh mereka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru IPA menghadapi kesulitan dalam berbagai komponen RPP Kurikulum 2013, seperti judul (30%), alokasi waktu (60%), kompetensi inti (35%), kompetensi dasar dan indikator (35%), tujuan pembelajaran (40%), materi pembelajaran (10%), model pembelajaran (26,7%), media dan sumber pembelajaran (15%), kegiatan pembelajaran (30%), dan instrumen penilaian (24%). Guru IPA menyarankan beberapa solusi untuk mengatasi kesulitan ini, antara lain bergabung dalam Kelompok Kerja Guru (KKG), mengikuti Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran (MGMP), dan mengikuti pertemuan workshop penyusunan RPP, dengan penyesuaian yang sesuai dengan kondisi sekolah masing-masing. Profile of Difficulties of Science Teachers in Preparation of 2013 Curriculum Learning Implementation Plans (RPP) Abstract This research aims to identify the difficulties faced by science teachers in developing Lesson Implementation Plans (RPP) based on the 2013 Curriculum in junior high schools in the Kediri District of West Lombok Regency. It also describes the solutions proposed by the science teachers to overcome these difficulties. The research methodology employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. A total of 10 science teachers from 6 junior high schools in the Kediri District of West Lombok Regency participated in this study and were interviewed using a questionnaire to obtain an overview of the difficulties they encountered. The research findings indicate that science teachers face difficulties in various components of the RPP based on the 2013 Curriculum, including the title (30%), time allocation (60%), core competencies (35%), basic competencies and indicators (35%), learning objectives (40%), teaching materials (10%), teaching models (26.7%), learning media and resources (15%), learning activities (30%), and assessment instruments (24%). The science teachers suggested several solutions to address these difficulties, such as joining Teacher Working Groups (KKG), participating in Subject Teacher Meetings (MGMP), and attending workshops on RPP development, with adjustments according to the respective school's conditions.

Abstract

University students must possess reflective and critical thinking skills to effectively navigate various life situations and contexts. This study aims to explain the effect of reflective thinking skills (RTS) on critical thinking skills (CTS). In this study, 71 prospective biology teacher students voluntarily participated. The RTS instrument developed by Kember et al. (2000) was adopted to collect data on RTS, and 20 CTS items to collect data on CTS. RTS had a significant impact on CTS, but not all RTS subscales; the habitual action subscale did not have a significant impact on CTS. Additionally, semester differences did not influence RTS and CTS. Finally, the recommendations based on these findings can be found in the conclusions and recommendations section.

Abstract

Tradisi Perang Topat di Lombok merupakan salah satu warisan budaya yang mencerminkan harmoni antara manusia dengan Tuhan, sesama, dan lingkungan, sebagaimana tercermin dalam filosofi Tri Hita Karana. Tradisi ini tidak hanya menjadi simbol toleransi antarumat beragama, tetapi juga sarana untuk menjaga keseimbangan ekosistem melalui penghormatan terhadap siklus agraris. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis Tradisi Perang Topat dalam konteks Tri Hita Karana, menyoroti tantangan pelestarian nilai-nilai tradisi ini di era modern, serta menawarkan solusi dan rekomendasi praktis untuk menjaga keberlanjutan tradisi. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif berbasis kajian literatur, dengan mengumpulkan data dari artikel akademik, buku, dan dokumen digital. Analisis dilakukan berdasarkan tiga pilar Tri Hita Karana: Parahyangan (hubungan dengan Tuhan), Pawongan (hubungan dengan sesama), dan Palemahan (hubungan dengan lingkungan). Temuan menunjukkan bahwa Tradisi Perang Topat memainkan peran penting dalam memperkuat hubungan spiritual melalui doa lintas agama, menciptakan harmoni sosial melalui kerja sama lintas komunitas, dan menjaga keberlanjutan lingkungan melalui simbolisme agraris. Namun, tantangan seperti komersialisasi budaya, degradasi lingkungan, dan kurangnya keterlibatan generasi muda mengancam pelestarian nilai-nilai tradisi ini. Oleh karena itu, artikel ini merekomendasikan penguatan pendidikan berbasis kearifan lokal, revitalisasi tradisi dengan pendekatan kreatif untuk melibatkan generasi muda, serta pengembangan pariwisata budaya yang berkelanjutan. Tradisi Perang Topat tidak hanya relevan sebagai warisan budaya lokal tetapi juga memiliki potensi untuk menjadi model harmoni sosial dan pelestarian lingkungan yang dapat menginspirasi dunia. The Synergy of Perang Topat Tradition and Tri Hita Karana: A Study of the Relationship Between Religion, Society, and Environment in Lombok SocietyAbstractThe Perang Topat tradition in Lombok is a cultural heritage that reflects harmony between humans and God, fellow humans, and the environment, as embodied in the philosophy of Tri Hita Karana. This tradition not only symbolizes interreligious tolerance but also serves as a means to maintain ecosystem balance through respect for the agrarian cycle. This article aims to analyze the Perang Topat tradition within the context of Tri Hita Karana, highlighting the challenges of preserving its values in the modern era and offering practical solutions and recommendations for its sustainability. The method used is a qualitative approach based on literature review, collecting data from academic articles, books, and digital documents. The analysis is conducted based on the three pillars of Tri Hita Karana: Parahyangan (relationship with God), Pawongan (relationship with fellow humans), and Palemahan (relationship with the environment). The findings indicate that the Perang Topat tradition plays a crucial role in strengthening spiritual relationships through interreligious prayers, fostering social harmony through cross-community cooperation, and maintaining environmental sustainability through agrarian symbolism. However, challenges such as cultural commercialization, environmental degradation, and the lack of youth involvement threaten the preservation of these traditional values. Therefore, this article recommends strengthening education based on local wisdom, revitalizing traditions with creative approaches to engage younger generations, and developing sustainable cultural tourism. The Perang Topat tradition is not only relevant as a local cultural heritage but also holds potential as a model for social harmony and environmental preservation that can inspire the world.

Abstract

This study presents a systematic literature review of recent research on the impact of integrated instructional approaches in strengthening critical thinking skills among prospective science teachers. Through an in-depth analysis of selected publications, the findings indicate that reflective learning strategies such as explicit rubric-based simulations, argument mapping, journaling, project-based learning, and the integration of socio-scientific contexts consistently enhance the cognitive, metacognitive, and affective dimensions of critical thinking. The review further demonstrates that emotional engagement and metacognitive awareness function as essential conditions for the effectiveness of reflective instruction. In addition, embedding local cultural contexts is shown to increase the relevance and meaningfulness of science learning. From a practical perspective, these findings imply that teacher education programs should systematically integrate reflective instructional designs, formative assessment rubrics, and culturally responsive learning tasks into their curricula. Moreover, institutions are encouraged to strengthen lecturer professional development, improve digital learning infrastructure, and adopt flexible curriculum policies to address implementation challenges such as institutional resistance and variability in student engagement. Collectively, these implications support the development of adaptive, inclusive, and context-sensitive science teacher education aligned with the demands of 21st-century learning.
