Abstract

Abstrack Digital technology and Artificial Intelligence (AI) have brought significant changes to higher education, including at UIN K.H. Abdurrahman Wahid Pekalongan. These developments require students to adapt to increasingly technology-based learning dynamics. This study aims to examine the strategies students employ to survive and adjust amid the era of digital disruption and AI, with a particular focus on the various challenges and opportunities that arise in the academic learning process. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach, supported by survey data collected from students across different study programs. The findings indicate that students demonstrate a high level of awareness regarding the urgency of adapting to digital technology to support their academic activities. Nevertheless, they still face several obstacles, such as limited training related to the utilization of AI, unequal access to technology, and emerging concerns about the dominance of technology in academia that may potentially diminish the human role. On the other hand, digital technology and AI also present substantial opportunities for students to enhance their digital literacy skills, academic productivity, and creativity, particularly through the use of innovative learning media and AI-based applications that support effective and efficient learning processes. Keywords: Student Existence; Digital Disruption; Artificial Intelligence   Abstrak Teknologi digital dan kecerdasan buatan (Artificial Intelligence/AI) telah membawa perubahan signifikan dalam dunia pendidikan tinggi, termasuk di lingkungan UIN K.H. Abdurrahman Wahid Pekalongan. Perkembangan ini menuntut mahasiswa untuk mampu beradaptasi dengan dinamika pembelajaran yang semakin berbasis teknologi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji bagaimana strategi mahasiswa dalam bertahan dan menyesuaikan diri di tengah era disrupsi digital dan AI, dengan menitikberatkan pada berbagai tantangan serta peluang yang muncul dalam proses pembelajaran akademik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif yang diperkuat dengan data survei yang diperoleh dari mahasiswa berbagai program studi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa memiliki tingkat kesadaran yang tinggi terhadap urgensi adaptasi teknologi digital dalam menunjang kegiatan akademik. Namun demikian, mereka masih menghadapi sejumlah kendala, seperti keterbatasan pelatihan terkait pemanfaatan AI, akses teknologi yang belum merata, serta munculnya kecemasan terhadap dominasi teknologi dalam dunia akademik yang berpotensi menggeser peran manusia. Di sisi lain, teknologi digital dan AI juga membuka peluang besar bagi mahasiswa untuk meningkatkan keterampilan literasi digital, produktivitas akademik, serta kreativitas, khususnya melalui pemanfaatan media pembelajaran inovatif dan aplikasi berbasis AI yang mendukung proses belajar secara efektif dan efisien. Abstract

Fokus utama penelitian ini adalah mengkaji bagaimana karakter anak usia dini dibentuk, dengan menggunakan kacamata etika profesi keguruan sebagai landasan analisisnya. Penelitian ini krusial mengingat pendidikan karakter memegang andil besar dalam membentuk fondasi moral anak sejak dini, terutama di tengah derasnya arus perkembangan teknologi dan perubahan social. Metode yang diterapkan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif, dengan instrumen pengumpulan data yang bersumber dari studi literatur serta wawancara semi-terstruktur. Analisis data dilakukan dengan mengidentifikasi dan mengelompokkan tema-tema utama yang merepresentasikan kontribusi serta peran pendidik dalam memformulasikan karakter anak. Temuan penelitian ini mengindikasikan bahwa keteladanan, pembiasaan dalam proses pembelajaran, serta profesionalisme guru dalam mengemban tugas menjadi faktor-faktor determinan yang memengaruhi pembentukan karakter anak. Kecenderungan anak untuk mengadopsi perilaku yang mereka amati dari pendidik menempatkan aspek keteladanan sebagai instrumen paling krusial dalam proses pendidikan. Di samping itu, internalisasi perilaku positif yang diterapkan secara konsisten mampu mengonstruksi kepribadian baik pada anak, yang didukung oleh profesionalisme pendidik dalam mengoptimalkan proses transmisi nilai-nilai karakter tersebut. Studi ini turut mengonfirmasi bahwa etika profesi keguruan memegang eksistensi krusial dalam efektivitas konstruksi karakter anak usia dini, mengingat manifestasi guru tidak terbatas sebagai pengajar, melainkan juga sebagai figur teladan serta mentor bagi peserta didik.

Abstract

This study examines the policy of the Pekalongan City Education Office in enforcing teacher professional ethics in the digital era during the 2020–2026 period. The problem addressed is the increasing number of ethical violations by teachers in digital spaces, influenced by rapid technological development and uneven digital literacy. The objective of this research is to analyze policy implementation, identify challenges, and formulate recommendations to improve its effectiveness. This study employs a qualitative approach using literature review, policy analysis, documentation, and interviews with relevant stakeholders. The data are analyzed using content analysis to obtain a comprehensive understanding of the phenomenon. The findings indicate that the policy has a strong foundation, emphasizing professionalism, integrity, and responsible use of digital media, supported by training programs, supervision, and socialization. However, its implementation faces several challenges, including unequal understanding among teachers, inconsistent application across schools, limited digital literacy, and the rapid evolution of technology. Therefore, strengthening continuous training, providing clear technical guidelines, improving supervision systems, and enforcing consistent sanctions are necessary to enhance policy effectiveness. This study contributes to the development of adaptive and responsive educational policies in maintaining teacher professionalism in the digital era.

Abstract

Language development in early childhood constitutes one of the most fundamental aspects of child development, as it serves as the primary medium for self-expression and social interaction. This study aims to describe the implementation of storytelling activities during circle time and to analyze their contribution to the language development of early childhood at RA Muslimat Al Utsmani Gejlig Kajen. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were gathered through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The validity of data was ensured through source and technique triangulation. The subjects consisted of 15 children aged 4–5 years. The results show that storytelling activities conducted within the circle time framework effectively enhanced children's language competencies, particularly in the domains of listening comprehension and oral expression. Approximately 66% of children demonstrated the ability to follow the story's narrative, respond to the teacher's questions, and retell stories using their own words. Meanwhile, 20% required additional prompting, and 14% still experienced challenges in maintaining concentration and speaking confidently. These findings affirm that interactive storytelling within a circle time setting creates a conducive and enjoyable learning environment that stimulates children's active participation and enriches vocabulary. It is recommended that future research employ experimental or quasi-experimental designs to further validate the effectiveness of this approach.

Abstract

Character-based learning assessment plays a crucial role in shaping the Pancasila Student Profile at the elementary school (SD/MI) level. This study aims to identify effective strategies for collecting character assessment data to ensure that students develop in accordance with Pancasila values. The research methods include analyzing various assessment techniques such as observation, reflection journals, interviews, and scenario-based instruments. Additionally, this study explores the role of teachers, parents, and the school environment in supporting the implementation of character assessment. The findings indicate that effective character assessment must be holistic, involve multiple stakeholders, and be conducted continuously. The main challenges in data collection include time constraints, lack of teacher training in using assessment instruments, and limited use of technology in the assessment process. Therefore, it is recommended that schools adopt a more systematic approach by integrating digital technology, strengthening teachers' capacity through assessment training, and increasing parental involvement in the assessment process. With the right strategies, character assessment can become an effective tool in strengthening the Pancasila Student Profile and shaping a generation that is ethical, independent, and critical-thinking.

Abstract

The digital transformation has significantly reshaped the educational landscape while simultaneously giving rise to increasingly complex ethical challenges for teachers as professionals. This study aims to identify various forms of ethical dilemmas faced by teachers in the digital era and to examine appropriate strategies to address them. The research employs a qualitative descriptive approach through a literature review and analysis of digital education practices. The research procedures include defining the problem focus, collecting data from scholarly sources, conducting thematic analysis, and drawing conclusions. The findings reveal that ethical dilemmas are associated with inappropriate use of social media, violations of student privacy, blurred professional boundaries between teachers and students, and the demands of integrating digital learning technologies. Moreover, limited digital literacy skills and the absence of robust ethical guidelines further intensify these challenges. Therefore, this study concludes that strengthening professional ethical codes, enhancing digital literacy competencies, and providing institutional policy support are essential to assist teachers in navigating ethical dilemmas responsibly and professionally in the digital era.

Abstract

Work motivation, job satisfaction, and employee performance are key aspects of management psychology that continue to evolve as organizational productivity demands increase. In an era of global competition, organizations are required to manage human resources effectively by enhancing work motivation and job satisfaction to achieve optimal performance. This study aims to examine the relationship between work motivation and employee performance, as well as to analyze the role of job satisfaction as a mediating variable in that relationship. The method used is a literature review with a qualitative approach. Data were collected through the Google Scholar and Publish or Perish databases using keywords related to work motivation, job satisfaction, and employee performance from a management psychology perspective. From 25 articles found between 2022 and 2026, 5 of the most relevant articles were selected for further analysis.The results of the study indicate that work motivation has a significant influence on employee performance, both directly and indirectly through job satisfaction as a mediating variable. Additionally, there is a growing trend toward the integration of management psychology approaches in efforts to enhance employee performance. Thus, it can be concluded that the simultaneous management of motivation and job satisfaction is a key factor in achieving optimal performance. Further research is recommended to develop a more comprehensive and integrative model.

Abstract

Tekanan akademik telah berkembang menjadi salah satu faktor risiko utama yang memengaruhi kesehatan mental siswa di berbagai jenjang pendidikan. Berbagai penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tekanan akademik berkorelasi dengan meningkatnya kecemasan, depresi, kelelahan emosional, penurunan kesejahteraan psikologis, bahkan perilaku melukai diri. Dalam situasi tersebut, guru tidak hanya memikul tanggung jawab pedagogis, tetapi juga tanggung jawab etis untuk menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang mendukung kesejahteraan peserta didik. Artikel ini bertujuan menganalisis peran etika profesi guru dalam mendukung kesehatan mental siswa di era tekanan akademik. Penelitian menggunakan metode studi pustaka dengan menelaah berbagai artikel ilmiah, laporan penelitian, dan literatur teoretis yang relevan mengenai etika profesi guru, kesehatan mental siswa, tekanan akademik, teacher care, dan ethics of care. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa etika profesi guru memiliki fungsi strategis sebagai mekanisme protektif terhadap dampak psikologis tekanan akademik melalui penciptaan lingkungan belajar yang aman secara psikologis, deteksi dini distres psikologis, komunikasi empatik, advokasi keseimbangan akademik, serta kolaborasi dalam sistem dukungan kesehatan mental siswa. Kajian ini juga menunjukkan bahwa implementasi etika profesi guru masih menghadapi berbagai tantangan, antara lain keterbatasan literasi kesehatan mental, tekanan struktural sistem pendidikan yang berorientasi pada performa akademik, stigma sosial terhadap kesehatan mental, keterbatasan sumber daya profesional, dan ambiguitas batas peran guru. Artikel ini menegaskan bahwa penguatan etika profesi guru perlu diposisikan sebagai bagian integral dari strategi pendidikan yang berorientasi pada kesejahteraan peserta didik. Kontribusi artikel ini terletak pada sintesis konseptual yang menghubungkan etika profesi guru, teacher care, dan ethics of care sebagai kerangka untuk memperkuat dukungan terhadap kesehatan mental siswa di tengah intensifikasi tekanan akademik.
