Abstract

The writing in this study is a quantitative study that has the aim of knowing what are the determinants of dividend policy on the Kompas 100 Index companies. Companies that are included in the Kompas 100 Index during the 2015-2019 period are the objects of this research. A total of 31 companies were used as research samples by using the purposive sampling technique method. The tool used to analyze the data in this research is Microsoft Excel 2010 and test hypotheses using panel data regression analysis with Eviews 12.0 program and a significance level of 5%. The results of the study based on partial sample testing indicate that liquidity and leverage have no effect on dividend policy, and profitability has a significant negative effect on the company's dividend policy.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the extent of openness of communication carried out among students of the Da'wah Faculty and UINSU communication and its impact on worship activities carried out by these students. Observations and interviews are techniques used to collect data in this study. Triangulation analysis method is also used to analyze the data obtained from respondents, descriptive analysis research method applied in this study. From 30 respondents taken with a percentage of 20 female respondents and 10 male respondents it was found that social media activities through Facebook had a special attraction and increased their confidence in communication. The impact felt by the respondents was more to the shift in the discipline of worship that they did when cool communicating with their virtual friends, recitations of the Koran that are usually done before prayer time arrives multiplied by the fun they are chatting, status updates or just looking at their Facebook wall.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the implementation of anti-corruption education in the PIAUD IAIN Takengon study program, to find out the impact of the application of the anti-corruption education model, and to see whether the anti-corruption education program model is more students' mastery of it. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The research subjects were 75 students from the VII semester IAIN Takengon PIAUD. The data collection techniques used questionnaires and in-depth interviews and were analyzed by data reduction, data presentation and data verification. The results showed that the implementation of the anti-corruption education curriculum model was not 100% pure applying the course model itself, but integrated learning indirectly as a habit to provide advice. The implementation of the anti-corruption education model is sufficient to provide an understanding for students to study corruption. The curriculum model with the subject itself is still the best model for providing knowledge to students on anti-corruption material, but with the addition of learning outside the classroom curriculum.

Abstract

There are obstacles that originated from the participants involved in the relationship and interfere with everyday life and well-being becoming toxic. Unfortunately, toxic behaviors from lovers are often perceived as a gesture of love due to their romanticization in movies. Story of Kale: When Someone’s in Love, nevertheless, depicts toxic relationship as destruction in a relationship. This research aimed at identifying the signs of toxic relationships in the movie and interpreting them with Barthes’s semiotic analysis; order of signification. The study used interpretivism paradigm due to researchers’ subjectivity with the signs’ interpretation and qualitative case study with purposive sampling collected from the movie. Communicating toxic relationships has become essential since most couples are not aware they are in a toxic relationship either as the agent or as the victim. Toxic relationships can get worse during the pandemic for some couples who live together may feel suffocated from being with each other all the time and couples who live apart may develop more trust issues. Most previous research had discovered toxic relationships as a result of the patriarchal system in society. This current research found that toxic relationships can also be rooted in a sense of inferiority.
