Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out whether using the snakes and ladders game media based on cultural maps can help improve the cognitive learning outcomes of class IV students in the science and sciences subject on Indonesian cultural riches. The method used in this research is quantitative with a quasi experiment type and a nonequivalent control group design model. There were two sample groups in this study, namely the control class and the experimental class, each class received different treatment. Students in grades IV A and IV B from SDN Sindang IV in North Sumedang District, Sumedang Regency (n=60) were the subjects of this research. According to research results, the snake and ladder game media based on cultural maps can improve students' learning outcomes on Indonesian cultural riches. Learning using this media reaches an N-gain value of 56.03% so it can be categorized as quite effective in improving student learning outcomes, whereas classes that do not use this gaming media only achieve an N-gain value of 36.85% which is considered ineffective. In short, this cultural map-based snakes and ladders game media is superior and quite effective in improving students' cognitive learning outcomes on Indonesian cultural riches material.

Abstract

Elementary schools' IPAS (Natural and Social Sciences) learning process still emphasizes transforming factual information and developing verbalistic reasoning. Also, the presentation process has yet to be integrated, as science and social studies are still taught separately, and its evaluation process is still based on students' comprehension of a concept. This study aims to analyze the effect of a mindful learning approach on science and social studies (IPAS) learning outcomes in the fifth-grade elementary school class focusing on the topic "Daerahku Kebanggaanku" with the subtopic A: "Seperti Apakah Budaya Daerahku?". The study samples, selected using purposive non-random sampling, included grade V students from SDN Wangisagara 02 as the experimental class and SDN Toblong 02 as the control class, located in Majalaya District, Bandung Regency. The study's method was quasi-experimental, with a pre-and post-respond design using a non-equivalent control group design. The study's instrument was a learning outcome test instrument that passed the expert judgment validation process and instrument trials. The data analysis results show a significant difference in IPAS learning outcomes between the experimental and control classes. The mindful learning approach has a 38.56% effect on IPAS learning outcomes, while the conventional approach has a 30.47% effect. Keywords: Approach Learning; Mindful learning; IPAS Learning Outcomes

Abstract

This research aims to create MPOKAR-based (Monopoly Card) learning media and determine its effectiveness in improving students' learning skills. The research employs the Research & Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Data collection techniques include observation, questionnaires, and tests. The study population consists of sixth-grade students in SDN Pakubeureum 1, located in the Kertajati sub-district of Majalengka Regency, West Java. Random sampling is used to select ten respondents for the study. The collected data are then descriptively analyzed using the SPSS program. The resulting media is highly valid, with a material percentage of 82.5% and a media aspect percentage of 98%. The media's feasibility test yields a percentage of 95%, categorized as highly feasible. Subsequently, the test results (pre-test and post-test) using the one-group pretest-posttest design on ten sixth-grade students show an average pre-test score of 54.00 and a post-test score of 82.00. It is concluded that the post-test results are greater than the pre-test, indicating an improvement in students' learning outcomes. Based on the research findings, it can be stated that the MOPOKAR ASEAN (Monopoly Card) media can enhance learning skills and is thus deemed suitable for use as a learning tool in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the description of learning with the peer tutor method implemented through situation-based learning. The urgency of this study is to find out the problem posing ability of elementary school students as an intellectual skill that students must possess to support future competition. From the existing problems, students are accustomed to receiving knowledge without posing the problems they find. The peer tutor method through SBL facilitates students in problem-posing ability, problem-solving, and independent learning. The peer tutor method makes it easier for teachers to provide structured guidance to facilitate students through discussions. This study employed a descriptive qualitative method involving fourth-grade students, in which the data were obtained using observation, interview, and documentation guidelines. The obtained data were reduced to be able to conclude. This study found that learning through the peer tutor method involves active student roles, facilitates students to construct their knowledge in a guided manner, creates meaningfulness in students in posing problems, leads to follow-up questions, and responses to the problems posed.

Abstract

Penelitian memiliki tujuan guna  memberikan kontribusi dalam melestarikan budaya musik tradisional Indonesia, serta memberikan alternatif pendidikan musik yang menarik dan efektif bagi para siswa SD kelas.Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian D&D dengan model ADDIE. Populasinya semua murid SD dan guru yang mengajarkan seni musik pada Kelas 5 SDN  Penjaringan 01 serta partisipannya para murid kelas VB dan para guru seni musik.SDN Penjaringan 01 Pagi. Selain itu, instrumen yang dipakai untuk menghimpun data ialah angket,interviu,dan studi dokumentasi. Dengan merujuk hasil penelitian, diketahui:Sebanyak 85,7% siswa menilai tampilan e-angklung sangat menarik,100% siswa menilai e-angklung sangat mudah diakses,81% siswa menilai e-angklung bermanfaat,85,7% siswa menilai e-angklung sangat bermanfaat,85,7% siswa menilai e-angklung membuat mereka tertarik belajar musik,85,7% siswa menilai bahasa dalam e-angklung sangat memudahkan dan dengan menggunakan medium pembelajaran berbasis ICT ini, siswa dapat lebih mudah belajar dan berlatih bermain angklung, sehingga meningkatkan minat dan keterampilan mereka dalam musik khususnya musik tradisional Indonesia.Selain itu, ihwal ini merepresentasikan potensi teknologi dalam mendukung pendidikan seni dan budaya di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

This study employs Research and Development (RnD) methodology, utilizing the ADDIE model, to develop the One In Diversity application aimed at enhancing grade V students' learning of Indonesian Diversity in PPKn. The application's development involved analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. Media and material experts evaluated the application, achieving scores of 82.5% and 95.3% respectively, indicating high quality. Large and small group trials further validated its effectiveness, with scores of 86.29% and 87.47% respectively. This innovative approach offers promising implications for educators seeking to integrate technology into their teaching methods, fostering enhanced student engagement and comprehension in diverse subject matter. Abstract

The study aims to determine the effect of LoC on improving social studies learning outcomes using quasi-experimental research with time series design. This research uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method. The population was all 5th grade students of SDN Penjaringan 08 Pagi & Penjaringan 01 and the sample was students of class VB of SDN Penjaringan 08 Pagi. In addition, the instruments used to measure learning outcomes were multiple choice & Likert scale for LoC. This research revealed three findings as follows: 1) The students' external & internal LoC values are 61.7% & 72.6%; 2) Based on the analysis of service quality variables, the t value (5.155) > t table (2.043) & sig value (0.000) < 0.05 with the regression coefficient value = 0.329, internal LoC variables on improving learning outcomes and the t value (3.847) > t table (2, 043) and sig value (0.001) < 0.05 with regression coefficient = 0.253 & based on one lane ANOVA test, sig value = 0.000 < 0.05, it is concluded that there is a significant influence & simultaneously and together internal & external LoC on improving social studies learning outcomes; 3) Based on the results of SPSS analysis, R = 0.748. So, this value explains the relationship between internal and external LoC on improving learning outcomes is very strong, significant, and positive and Adjusted R square = 0.527. This value is interpreted that all LoC contribute 52.7% to improving social studies learning outcomes.

Abstract

Comics are a tool that can be used as a media to improve communication skills through the various graphic illustrations conined in them. In the realm of education, especially in mathematics lessons, comics can be used as a learning media that can improve student mathematical communication skills. In this research, researchers developed digital comic media or E-Comath (Electronic Comic Mathematics) in scale material on a floor plans in class V students at SD Negeri Sindang III through the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) development model. In this research, the instruments used were interviews, media and material validation sheets, tests in the form of written questions, and student responsee questionnaires. The validation results show that the E-Comath is valid and suitable for use with an average media assessment percentage of 95,8% and an average material assessment percentage of 98,7% in the very good category. E-Comath media can also increase mathematical communication skills of 0,46                                        which is calculated using the N-Gain formula, and is included in the moderate improvement category, so it is effective to use. Apart from that, E-Comath media received a positive response  from students to be used as a learning media.

Abstract

Abstract: The effect of E-Books on Students' Understanding of My Material and My Needs Class IV Cikandang Elementary School. The purpose of this research is to measure students' understanding before and after using e-books in the material Me and My Needs for class IV Cikandang State Elementary School, to measure the effectiveness of e-books on students' understanding of Me and My Needs material for class IV Cikandang State Elementary School, and to measure the effect of e-books on students' understanding of the material Me and My Needs for class IV Cikandang State Elementary School. This type of research is experimental research with a quasi- experimental method and a Nonequivalent Control Group research design. The design is because it wants to measure and compare understanding between the experimental group that received treatment using e-books and the control group that received treatment using digital posters. The understanding of experimental group students before being given treatment (pretest) obtained an average of 46.97, after being given treatment (posttest) obtained an average of 79.31. Meanwhile, the control group before being given treatment (pretest) got 57.31, after being given treatment (posttest) got an average of 80.25. In the analysis using the paired sample t-test in the experimental group, the results were 0.000 < 0.05, so H1 was accepted and H0 was rejected. The simple linear regression test obtained a coefficient of determination of 0.765, which means that the effect of the independent variable on the dependent variable is 76.5%. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengukur penafsiran siswa sebelum serta setelah menggunakan e-book pada materi Aku dan Kebutuhanku kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri Cikandang, untuk mengukur efektivitas e-book terhadap pemahaman siswa terhadap materi Aku dan Kebutuhanku kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri Cikandang, dan untuk mengukur pengaruh e-book terhadap pemahaman peserta didik pada materi Aku dan Kebutuhanku kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri Cikandang. Jenis penelitian ini ialah penelitian eksperimen dengan metode quasi eksperiment dan desain penelitian Nonequivalent Control Group Desain karena ingin mengukur dan membandingkan penafsiran antara kelompok eksperimen yang memperoleh perlakuan memakai e-book dengan kelompok kontrol yang memperoleh perlakuan  memakai poster digital. Pemahaman peserta didik kelompok eksperimen sebelum diberikan perlakuan (pretest) memperoleh rata-rata 46.97, sesudah diberikan perlakuan (posttest) memperoleh rata-rata 79,31. Sementara terhadap kelompok kontrol sebelum diberikan perlakuan (pretest) memperoleh 57.31, setelah diberikan perlakuan (posttest) memperoleh rata-rata 80,25. Pada analisis menggunakan uji paired sample t-test pada kelompok eksperimen memperoleh hasil 0.000 < 0.05 maka H1 diterima serta H0 ditolak, Dari uji paired mmemperlihatkan ada pengaruh antara media pengajaran e-book pada pemahaman siswa terhadap materi Aku dan Kebutuhanku di Sekolah Dasar Negeri Cikandang. Pada uji regresi linear sederhana mendapatkan koefisien determinasi senilai 0,765 yang mengandung arti pengaruh variabel bebas pada variabel terikat ialah senilai 76,5%. Maka, ada pengaruh antara e-book pada pemahaman peserta didik.Kata kunci : E-Book, Pemahaman

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis ICT berupa E-Book bernama EBIPS (E-Book IPS) untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada ranah kognitif HOTS dan mengetahui efektivitas media pembelajaran EBIPS (E-Book IPS) untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif HOTS siswa kelas VI. Media pembelajaran EBIPS (E-Book IPS) dikembangkan dengan model pengembangan Richey and Klein, yang terdiri atas tiga tahapan pengembangan yaitu,  PPE (Planning, Production dan Evaluation). Uji efektivitas dilakukan dengan menggunakan desain penelitian one group pretest-posttest. Data dalam penelitian ini dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan wawancara, angket, dan tes. Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis kuantitatif deskriptif dan statistik inferensial. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran EBIPS (E-Book IPS) memperoleh skor 92% dari ahli media, memperoleh skor 89% dari ahli materi, dan memperoleh skor 75% dari ahli bahasa. Selain itu, hasil validasi praktisi pembelajaran memperoleh skor 95%, dan ketika dilakukan uji coba kepraktikkan kepada kelompok kecil memperoleh skor 98%, sedangkan pada uji coba kelompok besar memperoleh skor 92%. Hasil uji efektivitas menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan signifikan hasil belajar kognitif HOTS siswa setelah menggunakan media pembelajaran EBIPS (E-Book IPS). Dengan demikian, media pembelajaran EBIPS (E-Book IPS) baik digunakan dalam pembelajaran dan cukup efektif digunakan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif HOTS siswa.
