Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a vital role in fostering local economic growth. However, many MSMEs struggle with challenges in innovation management and digital marketing, which hinder their competitiveness. This community service initiative was designed to strengthen MSME capacity by offering training in business innovation, digital marketing strategies, and visual content creation for product promotion. The training program aimed to equip participants with the necessary skills to enhance business management, leverage digital platforms for marketing, and create compelling promotional content. The implementation process involved practical training sessions and continuous mentoring to ensure the effective application of the knowledge gained. The results demonstrated that MSME partners successfully adopted the strategies taught, leading to greater product visibility and increased competitiveness in the local market. The practical skills acquired through this program are expected to support long-term business sustainability and foster the growth of participating MSMEs.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to ascertain how satisfied and compliant cancer patients are with Dr. Moewardi Hospital's one-day care chemotherapy treatments, as well as how these factors relate to age, gender, education, and cancer type. Methods of research: This study used a descriptive method with a quantitative approach and correlational design. One hundred individuals who satisfied the inclusion and exclusion criteria made up the study's sample. A questionnaire was employed as the data collection method. According to the study's findings, 53% of chemotherapy patients were very satisfied, 37% were satisfied, and 10% were fairly satisfied when the five primary quality characteristics of tangibles, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, and reliability, were used to gauge their degree of satisfaction. 99% of cancer patients have complied with one-day care chemotherapy services. There is a noteworthy and favorable correlation between cancer patients' satisfaction and compliance with one-day care chemotherapy services. The main findings in this study indicate that most one-day care chemotherapy patients at Dr. Moewardi Hospital were very satisfied with the services provided, with a satisfaction level reaching 53%, and 99% of patients showed high compliance with the chemotherapy schedule. In addition, a significant and positive relationship was found between the level of satisfaction and patient compliance. Based on these findings, recommendations for further research are to explore non-demographic factors, such as socioeconomic status and family support, which may affect patient satisfaction and compliance, as well as to expand the study sample to obtain more comprehensive results.

Abstract

The rapid development of infrastructure in Surakarta has triggered high demand in the construction industry. Ongoing urbanization and rapid population growth are key drivers, creating the need for housing projects, public facilities, and improvements in transportation infrastructure. Despite the rapid economic growth and infrastructure development in Indonesia, particularly in Surakarta, significant progress has been made in the construction sector. However, increased demand has also brought about intense competition, especially in Design and Build projects. This research specifically aims to understand the processes related to the formation of expectations and customer satisfaction in Design and Build construction projects in Surakarta. The research methodology employed is qualitative with a descriptive approach, and data is obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data sources include relevant parties involved in the use of Design and Build construction services in Surakarta, Indonesia. Descriptive data analysis is used to present the data in a descriptive manner. The findings of this research indicate that the pre-purchase stage in construction services involves needs identification, information search, and alternative evaluation. Risk analysis, especially in functional, financial, temporal, physical, psychological, social, and sensory dimensions, is crucial in the decision-making process for potential users of construction services. Preferences for service dimensions such as tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy also significantly influence the selection of service providers. The ability of construction service providers to identify and manage risks, including the principles of 'The Flower of Service, also affects customer satisfaction.

Abstract

The purpose of this literature review is to explore and synthesize empirical evidence regarding the influence of work–family conflict, work–life balance, and job satisfaction on nurses’ intention to stay in hospital settings. A narrative review approach was employed, gathering studies from Scopus, PubMed, and Google Scholar. From an initial pool of 267 articles, 35 met the inclusion criteria, which focused on nurses, hospital-based contexts, and methodological clarity. The findings reveal that work–family conflict negatively affects both work–life balance and job satisfaction, which in turn lowers the intention to stay. Conversely, work–life balance and job satisfaction serve as critical mediators that can buffer the negative impact of role conflict on workforce retention. The review is framed by Role Stress Theory and Social Exchange Theory to explain the dynamic relationships among variables. These findings underscore the importance of organizational support mechanisms, such as flexible work arrangements, performance recognition, and psychological well-being programs, to improve nurses’ motivation and long-term retention. In conclusion, promoting positive work–life interaction and enhancing job satisfaction are essential strategies for sustaining a stable nursing workforce in hospital environments, particularly in high-demand and resource-limited healthcare systems.

Abstract

Research aims: This study aimed to analyze the influence of store image, brand image, and advertising on consumers' purchase intentions and behaviors.Design/Methodology/Approach: Data were collected through an online survey targeting visitors of Ngarsopuro Night Market, using purposive sampling. A total of 200 respondents participated, corresponding with the sample size recommended in previous studies. Moreover, the analysis was conducted using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method, processed via SmartPLS version 3.Research findings: The results showed that brand image, store image, and advertising significantly impacted purchase intentions. Even though brand image and advertising influenced purchasing behaviors, store image did not have a significant effect. The result also showed that purchase intentions fully mediated the relationship between brand image, store image, advertising, and purchasing behaviors. Theoretical Contribution/Originality: The Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) was refined by emphasizing the importance of brand-related attributes over traditional factors like store image, which was found to be insignificant in this context.Practitioners/Policy Implications: The recommendation was to improve the competitiveness of traditional markets in the creative economy by strengthening brand image with local cultural elements, improving store aesthetics, leveraging advertising strategies, and fostering vendor innovation through training and collaborations. Research Limitations/Implications: This study had a limited sample size and used an online survey method. Therefore, it is crucial to expand the geographical scope of the study and combine online surveys with direct interviews to obtain more accurate and detailed information.

Abstract

Abstract : The local game development industry in Indonesia holds significant potential to contribute to the national creative economy. However, despite substantial increases in labor absorption and market size, the sector’s contribution to national GDP and export value remains relatively low compared to other creative sub-sectors, such as fashion. Furthermore, the discrepancy between labor force growth and declining GDP performance raises concerns about productivity and industrial efficiency. This study aims to analyze the internal strengths and weaknesses, as well as external opportunities and threats (SWOT), that influence the strategic positioning of local game developers. Drawing on qualitative data gathered from key industry informants and validated through a SWOT matrix analysis (IFAS and EFAS), this research formulates strategic recommendations to enhance competitiveness and promote sustainable growth in both domestic and international markets. The findings offer practical insights for stakeholders—including policymakers, industry players, and investors—on how to develop adaptive and proactive strategies to advance Indonesia’s game development sector as a key driver of the creative economy.Abstrak : Industri pengembangan game lokal di Indonesia memiliki potensi yang signifikan untuk berkontribusi pada ekonomi kreatif nasional.
