Vocational High School (SMK) is a formal education which provides a special training pattern to direct their students become the graduates who are ready to enter participate professionally in the business world or even companies. Consequently, the vocational school required to be able to produce graduates with the standard competencies expected by the working world. The aim of this study is to analyze the influence of industrial work practice, career guidance and family environment on working readiness by soft skills. Method of the study used was a quantitative study. The population in this study was all of the students on grade 12th of SMK Negeri 2 and SMK Negeri 9 in Semarang which were 634 students with 139 students as the sample of the study. Data collection technique was questionnaires. The data analysis technique used was a descriptive percentage statistics, path analysis and Sobel test. Results of the study showed that there is an influence of industrial work practice, career guidance, family environment, and soft skills on working readiness. Based on the sobel test result, soft skills can mediate the influence of industrial work practice, career guidance and family environment on working readiness

This study aims to determine the effect of independent variables (soybean production, soybean consumption, gross domestic product, local soybean price and imported soybean price) to the dependent variable (import of soybean) both in the short and long term. This study uses time series or time series data. The analytical model used is an econometric analysis tool error correction model ECM and OLS. This model can explain both short-term and long-term behavior. The result of the research shows that (1) the production variable in the short term does not have an effect, while in the long run it has negative and significant effect to the import of Indonesian soybean. (2) consumption variables in the short and long term have a positive and significant influence to Indonesian soybean import. (3) Gross domestic product in both the short and long term do not affect the import of soybean. (4) local price variables in the short and long term have a positive and significant effect on Indonesian soybean import. (5) import price variable in the short term has a negative effect while in the long term does not affect the import of Indonesian soybean. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh variabel independen (produksi kedelai, konsumsi kedelai, produk domestik bruto, harga kedelai lokal dan harga kedelai impor) terhadap variabel dependen (impor kedelai) baik dalam jangka pendek maupun jangka panjang. Penelitian ini menggunakan data runtun waktu atau time series. Model analisis yang digunakan adalah alat analisis ekonometrika model koreksi kesalahan ECM dan OLS. Model ini dapat menjelaskan perilaku jangka pendek maupun jangka panjang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) variabel produksi dalam jangka pendek tidak berpengaruh sedangkan pada jangka panjang berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap impor kedelai Indonesia. (2) variabel konsumsi dalam jangka pendek maupun jangka panjang berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap impor kedelai Indonesia. (3) Variabel produk domestik bruto dalam jangka pendek maupun jangka panjang tidak berpengaruh dengan impor kedelai. (4) variabel harga lokal dalam jangka pendek maupun jangka panjang berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap impor kedelai Indonesia. (5) variabel harga impor dalam jangka pendek berpengaruh negatif sedangkan pada jangka panjang tidak berpengaruh terhadap impor kedelai Indonesia.

This research is conducted with the aim to find out the quality standards of Trans Semarang which are diffable friendly. This research uses quantitative approach. The samples are the blind and the disabled who had used Trans Semarang in the amount of 5 people. The variables of this study are Trans Semarang facilities and the internal and the external constraints. The Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation methods. This study uses percentage descriptive data analysis. The results of the study show that the Trans Semarang facility is still not difabel friendly and still cannot be utilized optimally. The Trans Semarang facility is still not diffable friendly because there are still many shelters that are not suitable, such as not having a ramp, no handles, slippery, steep, the existence of trees / poles barrier and damaged. There are still around 178 pieces or around 60.9% of shelters that are not diffable friendly. The recommendations of this research are improving the shelter to be diffable friendly, completing the access for all types of diffables, increasing the competency of officers and the awareness of the public about the existence of the Trans Semarang shelter Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui standar kualitas Trans Semarang yang ramah difabel. Pendekatan penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuatitatif. Sampel yang dipakai adalah tuna netra dan tuna daksa yang pernah menggunakan Trans Semarang yaitu sebanyak 5 orang. Variabel penelitian ini adalah fasilitas Trans Semarang dan kendala internal serta eksternal. Teknik pengambilan sampel penelitian ini menggunakan purposive sampling dengan kriteria-kriteria yang ditentukan oleh peneliti. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis data deskriptif persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa fasilitas Trans Semarang masih belum ramah difabel dan masih belum bisa dimanfaatkan secara maksimal. Fasilitas Trans Semarang masih belum ramah difabel karena masih banyak shelter yang belum sesuai diantaranya belum memiliki ramp, belum ada pegangan, licin, curam, terdapat pohon/tiang penghalang, dan rusak. Masih ada sekitar 178 buah atau sekitar 60.9% shelter yang masih belum ramah difabel. Rekomendasi untuk penelitian ini adalah adanya perbaikan shelter agar ramah difabel, melengkapi akses untuk semua jenis difabel, kompetensi petugas lebih ditingkatkan serta kesadaran masyarakat tentang adanya shelter Trans Semarang.

The purpose of this study is to describe the condition of street vendors in the city of Semarang Tlogosari; describe and analyze the policy of the City Government, the role of the function of the actors involved, implementation and efforts aimed at addressing the causes of the inefective of the relocation program Tlogosari street vendors in the area of Semarang. The method used is descriptive analysis with qualitative approach. The data used in the research is a secondary data. The population in this study consisted of 21 keyperson consisting of elements of Semarang City Market Agency, Chief Tlogosari Kulon village, Semarang municipal police and street vendors in the area Tlogosari. The results showed that the condition of street vendors located in the area of Semarang has Tlogosari displacement relocation traders to place, but in relocating the government does not hold a follow-up in preparing the infrastructure and facilities. The role of the function of the actors involved in the relocation of street vendors in the program Tlogosari namely the Semarang City Market Agency and the municipal police personnel Semarang. Factors that cause the inefective of the relocation program of street vendors in the city of Semarang Tlogosari them is a culture of street vendors who keep returning despite being moved, PKL reluctantly relocated to Taman Suryokusumo, and street vendors were difficult to set or disciplined. And last effort in addressing the causes of the inefective of the relocation program PKL among other actions determine the place / location for street vendors selling. City government falls directly approached PKL to speak and to deliberate. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendiskripsikan kondisi Pedagang Kaki Lima (PKL) di kawasan Tlogosari Kota Semarang; mendiskripsikan dan menganalisis kebijakan Pemerintah Kota, peran fungsi aktor yang terlibat, Implementasi dan upaya yang dilakukan dalam mengatasi kurang efktifnya program relokasi PKL di kawasan Tlogosari Kota Semarang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian berupa data skunder. Populasi dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 21 keyperson yang terdiri dari unsur Dinas Pasar Kota Semarang, Kepala Kelurahan Tlogosari Kulon, Satpol PP Kota Semarang dan PKL di kawasan Tlogosari. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kondisi PKL yang berlokasi di kawasan Tlogosari Kota Semarang telah dilakukan pemindahan pedagang ke tempat relokasi, namun dalam melakukan relokasi pemerintah tidak mengadakan tindak lanjut dalam menyiapkan sarana dan prasarana. Peran fungsi aktor yang terlibat dalam program relokasi PKL di kawasan Tlogosari yaitu pihak Dinas Pasar Kota Semarang serta para personil Satpol PP Kota Semarang. Faktor program relokasi yang berjalan kurang baik PKL di kawasan Tlogosari Kota Semarang diantaranya adalah budaya PKL yang selalu kembali meskipun sudah dipindah, PKL enggan di relokasi ke Taman Suryokusumo, dan PKL yang sulit ditata atau ditertibkan. Dan terakhir upaya dalam mengatasi berjalan kurang baiknya program relokasi PKL antara lain melakukan tindakan menentukan tempat/lokasi berjualan bagi PKL. Pemerintah Kota terjun langsung mendekati PKL untuk berbicara dan melakukan musyawarah.

This study aims to investigate the effect of self-motivation and family environment on the interest in becoming teachers directly or indirectly through self-efficacy as a mediator variable. The research method employed was quantitative method with path analysis and Sobel test. The subjects of this study were all students of Economics Education Faculty of Economics, Universitas Negeri Semarang year 2014 with a population of 399 and a sample of 100 respondents. The method used was of data collection used questionnaires. The results show that (1) self-motivation positively affects self-efficacy by 21.9%. (2) Family environment negatively affects self-efficacy by 32.03%. (3) The total effect of self-motivation on the interest in becoming teachers through self-efficacy is 41.2%. (4) The total effect of family environment on the interest in becoming teachers through self-efficacy is-20.38%. (5) Self-efficacy positively affects the interest in becoming teachers by 16.16%. The suggestions of this study are students of economics education should know more about their interests in becoming teachers and should seek adequate knowledge and information about teacher profession. In addition, family should not give excessive attention and treatment to children because it can reduce the children’s abilities.

KPRI Megar is a civil servant cooperative consisting of elementary school teachers throughout Rembang District, Purbalingga Regency. This study aims to analyze: (1) the influence of the image on member participation, (2) the influence of member trust on member participation, (3) the influence of service quality on member participation, (4) the influence of image, member trust, service quality together same for member participation. The population of this research is 217 cooperative members. The number of samples from this research is 98 members with simple random sampling technique. This study uses a quantitative approach with a method of collecting data in the form of a questionnaire. The data analysis method used is descriptive percentage statistics and multiple regression. The results showed that simultaneous image, member trust, and service quality had an effect on member participation by 81.7% and the remaining 18.3% was influenced by other factors not examined in this study. Partially the image has an effect of 20.52%, member trust has an effect of 18.06%, and service quality has an effect of 29.59% on the participation of members of KPRI Megar. Suggestions that can be given to cooperatives are expected to improve the quality of services for their members, image and trust in developing cooperatives.

Abstrak. Kualitas tenaga pendidik sebagai agen pembelajaran di satuan pendidikan, guru yang profesional diharapkan dapat meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran dan mutu pendidikan di Indonesia secara berkelanjutan. Peningkatan kualitas pendidikan merupakan suatu proses yang terintegrasi dengan proses peningkatan kualitas sumber daya manusia itu sendiri. Dalam rangka peningkatan kualitas SDM peran guru sebagai tenaga pendidik dituntut menjadi tenaga profesional. Pentingnya peran guru sangat menentukan berhasilnya usaha peningkatan mutu pendidikan, terutama pada jenjang pendidikan dasar dan menengah. Peran guru secara konkrit dijelaskan, bahwa guru lebih tepat memiliki falsafah dan tujuan pendidikan, kriteria keberhasilan pendidikan, ilmu dan teori pendidikan yang relevan, struktur pendidikan, kurikulum, organisasi dan kepemimpinan pendidikan maupun pembiayaan pendidikan. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan profesionalisme guru melalui pembuatan proposal penelitian tindakan kelas dan guru menjadi terbiasa melakukan karya pengembangan profesi melalui budaya meneliti dengn permasalahan di kelas yang dialami dan menulis di journal. Dalam upaya meningkatan profesionalisme dan meningkatkan budaya akademik, yang merupakan nilai-nilai budaya mutu. Hasil akhir adanya workshop dan pendampingan ini adalah guru dapat membuat penelitian tindakan kelas secara berkelanjutan dan dapat menulis karya pengembangan profesi untuk pengembangan diri tidak hanya PTK saja; Guru menguasai dan dapat memilih model-model pembelajaran sesuai kebutuhan dalam pembelajaran. Hal ini menunjukkan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat sudah dilaksanakan sesuai dengan tujuan dan harapan antara masyarakat sasaran yaitu para guru SMA Kota Semarang dengan pengabdi yang dapat meningkatkan profesionalisme guru dalam karya pengembangan profesi melalui workshop dan pendampingan pembuatan karya ilmiah pengembangan profesi dan pengembangan diri dari tim pengabdi merupakan hasil nyata oleh para guru yang mengikuti workshop dan pendampingan PKB.

Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan profesionalisme guru melalui pembuatan proposal penelitian tindakan kelas dan guru menjadi terbiasa melakukan karya pengembangan profesi melalui budaya meneliti dengn permasalahan di kelas yang dialami dan menulis di journal. Combining strategies, approaches, methods, and learning material is characteristic of today's learning models innovation. This study aims to (1) determine the validity of the PBL model supported by Prezi Media in Social Studies instruction and (2) determine the effectiveness of the PBL model assisted by Prezi Media on students' critical thinking abilities and conceptual knowledge. This research used a quasi-experimental approach with a Nonequivalent Control Group. The study was done in two schools, with the experimental class being 2 Kaliajir Primary School and the control class being 3 Petir Primary School. The data-gathering technique employed was an observation, description, and a short entry test. The data analysis technique was a prerequisite test for conducting research, including the normality and homogeneity tests. Meanwhile, hypothesis testing using expert validators, independent sample t-test, and N-Gain test were performed. The findings indicated that (1) the PBL model enhanced by Prezi media was valid for application in Social Studies education, and (2) the PBL model enhanced by Prezi media improved students' critical thinking skills and conceptual understanding. The study concludes that the PBL model, aided by Prezi media, is appropriate for social studies education and effect on students' critical thinking abilities and conceptual knowledge.

This research was aimed to identify the internal and external factor for encountering free trade China-Asean and to find some strategic model alternative that can be applied by Primkopti Semarang to develop their business. The analysis methods used were descriptive analysis method and SWOT analysis. The result of this research showed that internal factors for cooperation’s strength for encountering free trade including soybean distributor in form of cooperation in Semarang and experienced manager to carry out the business. The weakness one was the research and development of cooperation hasn’t been optimal and the management of information system hasn’t worked well. External factors for opportunity one including the soybean buyer or main customer was cooperation members having dual identity, as for the threat including no resistance for new competitor, increasing soybean import, soybean importer has strong bargain position. Compatible strategy for cooperation implementation in encountering free trade China-Asean was market penetration strategy and product development.
