Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keterlaksanaan, peningkatan hasil belajar aspek kognitif dan psikomotor, serta respon peserta didik terhadap model pembelajaran simulasi berbantuan media pembelajaran PhET pada materi gas ideal kelas XI. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Quasi Experimental Design dengan desain penelitian Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Subjek penelitian yaitu peserta didik kelas XI semester ganjil tahun pelajaran 2019/2020 di SMAN 1 Balong Ponorogo. Berdasarkan analisis dari data, diperoleh bahwa keterlaksanaan pembelajaran menggunakan model simulasi berbantuan PhET berkategori baik, hasil belajar peserta didik aspek kognitif mengalami peningkatan nilai gain <g> sebesar 0,73 untuk kelas eksperimen dan 0,34 untuk kelas kontrol. Sedangkan hasil belajar aspek psikomotor diperoleh nilai gain <g> sebesar 0,56 dengan kategori sedang. Model pembelajaran simulasi berbantuan media PhET pada kelas XI MIPA di SMA Negeri 1 Balong Ponorogo mendapat respon sangat baik dari peserta didik. Dibuktikan dengan rata-rata dari 11 pernyataan sebesar 3,40 dan persentase sebesar 85,09 % sehingga dapat digunakan pada materi pembelajaran fisika lainnya. Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini dilaksanakan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar dengan menerapkan pembelajaran model kooperatif tipe STAD dengan teknik Index Card Match. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi experiment dengan desain One Grup Pretest-Posttest. Penelitian menggunakan satu kelas eksperimen, selain mengamati hasil belajar juga ditinjau keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dan respon peserta didik. Adapun metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu metode obsevasi, tes, dan angket. Berdasarkan hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa: (1) keterlaksanaan pembelajaran model kooperatif tipe STAD dengan teknik Index Card Match berkategori sangat baik pada penguji 1 dan 2, yaitu 83,9 dan 85,7 (2) hasil belajar peserta didik meningkat secara signifikan antara sebelum dan setelah diterapkan pembelajaran model kooperatif tipe STAD dengan teknik Index Card Match dengan rata-rata skor n-gain 0,75 dengan katagori sedang 37% dan katagori tinggi 63% (3) nilai keterampilan pada proses praktikum menunjukkan nilai rata-rata 75 dan nilai rata-rata sikap 77 (4) respon peserta didik terhadap pembelajaran model kooperatif tipe STAD berada pada kategori sangat baik, dengan persentase yaitu 84%. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran model kooperatif tipe STAD dengan teknik Index Card Match dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik secara signifikan Kata Kunci: kooperatif, STAD, Index Card Match, quasi experiment. Abstract This research was conducted to find out the improvement of learning outcomes by applying STAD type cooperative learning models with Index Card Match technique. This type of research is a quasi experiment with the design of One Group Pretest-Posttest. The study used an experimental class, in addition to observing the learning outcomes also reviewed the implementation of learning and student responses. The data collection methods used are observation, tests and questionnaires. Based on the results of the analysis showed that: (1) the implementation of the STAD type cooperative learning model with Index Card Match technique was categorized very well on examiners 1 and 2, namely 83.9 and 85.7 (2) the learning outcomes of students increased significantly between before and after applying STAD type cooperative learning model with Index Card Match technique with an average score of n-gain 0.75 with moderate category 37% and high category 63% (3) the value of skills in the practicum process shows an average value of 75 and an average value attitude 77 (4) the students response to learning the STAD type cooperative model is in the very good category, with a percentage of 84%. Thus, it can be concluded that learning STAD type cooperative learning with Index Card Match technique can significantly improve student learning outcomescategories Keyword: cooperative, STAD, Index Card Match, quasi experiment

Abstract

A history of physics lecture become important for the student because its knowledge will be a complement as knowledge framework from all that have and will be obtained by students. This is an optional lecture for the student of physics education by 2 credit which is programmed at even semester. Though an optional lecture, this is still very enthused by students. Pursuant to this situation hence done a research and development (R and D) to this lecture. Research done by student of Reguler Physics Education 2006. The aim of this research is to develop learning materials include Lesson Plan (GBRP and SAP), dictate, Student Worksheet (LKM), Appraisal Sheet (LP), hands out, physician pictures and poster oriented to socratic model. Then those are tried to the student. The result shows the ability of lecturer in managing study of Socrates categorize goodness. Result of management at introduction and activity of class condition shows that the category is very good, while for core activities, closure, and time management shows good enough category, from perception mean score 3.0 every study steps. Student activity cover: listening actively, reading, doing and writing answer in LKM, discussing with lecturer, discussing between student in group, making resume, and irrelevant behavior successively are 14.50%, 13.50%, 16.50%, 27.75%, 20.75%, 7.00% and 0.00%. The biggest percentage activity is to discuss with lecturer, while smallest activity percentage is to make resume and irrelevant behavior. Enthusiasm learn student at negative and positive statement criterion, mean score to every condition of attention, relevansion, confidence, and satisfaction (ARCS) successively is 4.00, 4.05, 4.15, and 3.45 with good category with mean score for all condition are 3.91 so that student enthusiasm criterion in good category. The learning product of pretest at learning show all product indicator is not complete with complete mean 27.68%. Then after given by post test its result show complete mean equal to 81.67% and all item test is completed.Key words: Development materials learning, Socratic Model, R & D, History of Physics

Abstract

Scientific creativity and responsibility are believed to be key factors for overcoming increasingly complex real-life problems faced by students; but both competencies are not trained in school. Therefore, this research aims to describe the effectiveness of creative responsibility based learning (CRBL) to increase student’s responsibility and scientific creativity on physics learning in senior high school. This research used one group pretest-posttest design involving 66 students of two senior high schools in Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan, Indonesia. The data collection was conducted by using responsibility observation emphasizing on participatory, cooperation, delivering an opinion, and leadership. Additionally, data were gained through scientific creativity test emphasizing on problem finding, product improvement, scientific imagination, scientific problem solving, and creative product design. The data analysis was done through qualitative descriptive, n-gain, and paired t-test. The results showed      (1) student’s responsibility for each meeting is in good criteria, and (2) there is a significant increase on students’ scientific creativity at α = 5 %, with n-gain constitutes moderate category. Thus, the CRBL is believed to be effective to increase student’s responsibility and scientific creativity in physics learning

Abstract

Textbooks currently circulating have not been adapted to online learning systems and their contents are less interactive, less communicative, and have not been based on local content potential. This research aimed to produce digital textbooks based on Madura local content and augmented reality to improve students’ scientific reasoning ability. This research development was done based on ASSURE instructional design, between July and August 2020. This research involved 15 students of SMP Al-Hikam Burneh, Bangkalan-Madura. The assessments of the digital textbook were done to decide its validity, practicality, and effectiveness. Furthermore, the students’ scientific reasoning abilities were measured using pretest and posttest. The validity data obtained were analyzed descriptively using percentages, while students’ scientific reasoning skills were analyzed using gain scores. The results showed that the percentage values were 87.5% for content validity (valid), 91.10% for media (very valid), 87.41% for technical (very valid), and 88.9% for practicality (valid). In addition, the students’ scientific reasoning skills were classified as effective based on the gain scores achieved in each indicator i.e., 0.49 (argumentation), 0.45 (existing knowledge), 0.38 (methodology), 0.43 (analysis), and 0.40 (concluding). Thus, the digital textbook developed is effective to improve students’ scientific reasoning skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas proses dan hasil belajar fisika di SMA. Sasaran pe-nelitian   adalah siswa kelas X-1 SMA Negeri 1 Kebomas Gresik. Penelitian ini tergolong pra-eksperimen, desain yang digu-nakan adalah The One-Shot Case Study. Perlakuan yang diterapkan adalah berupa pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Teams games Tournament (TGT). Data berupa aktivitas guru, aktivitas siswa, dan hasil belajar siswa dikumpulkan menggunakan teknik observasi, tes, dan angket. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis secara deskriptif dan inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) Kemampuan guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran dinilai sangat baik oleh pengamat, dengan nilai sebesar 81,37, 2) Aktivitas guru selama proses pembelajaran telah sesuai dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT, 3) Aktivitas siswa di kelas mencerminkan pembelajaran berpusat pada siswa, dan 4) Hasil belajar siswa telah mencapai ketuntasan belajar sebesar 88,6 dan 5 respon siswa positif terhadap penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif  tipe TGT.Kata kunci: pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT, fisika SMA

Abstract

Metode diskusi dapat diterapkan dalam pembelajaran sains untuk mengembangkan kemampuan kognitif dan afektif siswa. Juga dapat melatihkan keterampilan social, sifat toleransi dan kemampuan analisis kritis dan kreatif dalam memecahkan suatu masalah. Diskusi dapat pula dipergunakan untuk mengawali inkuiri dalam sains dan mengembangkan keterampilan memecahkan masalah, merumuskan suatu hipotesis, menguji jawaban yang bersifat tentatif, mencari solusi dan generalisasi. Keberhasilan suatu diskusi bergantung pada fleksibilitas guru dan kebijaksanaan guru, kemampuan guru dalam mengorganisir jalannya diskusi, keluasaan ilmu guru, aktivitas siswa, pengaturan lingkungan fisik, dan penjadwalan. Hambatan terhadap salah satu faktor tersebut akan mengurangi keefektifan diskusi. Pemilihan topik-topik yang menarik, kontroversial dan isu yang sedang berkembang mendukung keberhasilan dalam diskusi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan blended inquiry learning berbantuan schoology dalam pembelajaran fisika di jenjang SMA dan menganalisis peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran blended inquiry learning berbantuan schoology pada pembelajaran fisika di jenjang SMA. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode library research. Data yang didapatkan berupa data sekunder yang diperoleh berdasarkan kajian jurnal penelitian dari pelbagai sumber jurnal online, artikel jurnal yang dikaji sebanyak 35 artikel. Dari artikel yang dikaji tersebut terdapat 17 artikel dengan 2 skripsi dan 2 tesis dari tahun 2017-2020 yang membahas sesuai dengan topik permasalahan. Hasil dan pembahasan dari data sekunder diperoleh bahwa model blended inquiry learning dengan berbantuan schoology ini sangat cocok diterapkan pada abad 21 terlebih pada masa transisi akibat covid-19. Model tersebut dapat mempermudah guru untuk menyampaikan materi fisika serta tahapan pembelajaran dapat selesai tepat waktu. Selain itu, model ini juga dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis pada pembelajaran fisika di jenjang SMA. Di samping itu persepsi guru dan peserta didik terhadap model tersebut juga sangat positif akan tetapi model pembelajaran ini memiliki kendala yaitu kendala akses ke internet, karena pada penerapan model pembelajaran ini dibutuhkan akses internet yang stabil agar proses pembelajaran dapat berjalan sesuai dengan harapan.
