Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji refleksi belajar siswa dalam penerapan Kurikulum Berbasis Cinta di Madrasah Aliyah (MA) Al-Falah, Penajam Paser Utara. Kurikulum ini menekankan nilai empati, self-compassion, dan peer-caring yang bertujuan mengembangkan karakter siswa agar seimbang secara spiritual, sosial, dan intelektual. Metode penelitian menggunakan studi kasus dengan pengumpulan data melalui survei, wawancara semi-terstruktur, observasi, diskusi kelompok terfokus (FGD), dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa refleksi belajar secara sistematis meningkatkan kesadaran metakognitif, evaluasi diri, dan internalisasi nilai-nilai kasih sayang, empati, dan tanggung jawab sosial. Lingkungan belajar yang ramah anak dan aman secara psikologis, didukung oleh perhatian serta dukungan guru, memfasilitasi terciptanya suasana refleksi yang autentik dan transformatif. Implementasi kurikulum ini juga mendorong motivasi intrinsik dan keterlibatan aktif peserta didik dalam pembelajaran, memperkuat kedisiplinan dan kualitas akademik sekaligus pembangunan karakter. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi penting pada pengembangan pendidikan holistik dan inklusif yang mengintegrasikan aspek spiritual, emosional, sosial, dan intelektual. Rekomendasi penelitian selanjutnya adalah pengembangan instrumen refleksi yang sesuai dengan nilai Kurikulum Berbasis Cinta dan pelatihan guru untuk mengoptimalkan fasilitasi refleksi siswa dalam berbagai konteks pendidikan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan studi deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif (mixed methods) yang bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak penerapan metode ilmiah melalui diskusi kelompok dan presentasi makalah dalam pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam Dasar bagi mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Agama Islam di STITBA Balikpapan dengan 27 subjek penelitian. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi kasus dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi, kuesioner, dan wawancara. Observasi dilakukan selama proses pembelajaran untuk mengamati partisipasi dan keterlibatan mahasiswa. Kuesioner dengan skala Likert 1–5 dibagikan kepada mahasiswa untuk mengukur empat dimensi: partisipasi, pemahaman konseptual, pemecahan masalah, dan keterampilan presentasi. Data kuantitatif dianalisis secara deskriptif dengan menghitung mean dan standar deviasi, sedangkan data kualitatif dari observasi dan wawancara dianalisis secara tematik untuk mengeksplorasi persepsi dan pengalaman mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode ilmiah melalui diskusi kelompok dan presentasi makalah meningkatkan partisipasi mahasiswa (mean = 4,11), pemahaman konseptual (mean = 3,89), kemampuan pemecahan masalah (mean = 4,04), dan keterampilan presentasi (mean = 4,11). Data observasi menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas kelompok aktif terlibat dalam diskusi dan mampu menyusun makalah mereka sesuai dengan struktur ilmiah. Hasil wawancara mengkonfirmasi tiga tema dominan: peningkatan keterlibatan aktif, keterampilan berpikir kritis, dan kebutuhan untuk memperkuat keterampilan presentasi. Studi ini menyimpulkan bahwa penerapan metode ilmiah dalam tugas pemecahan masalah sederhana efektif dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran Ilmu Alamia Dasar, meskipun terdapat beberapa tantangan seperti kebutuhan akan pelatihan tambahan dalam desain slide dan manajemen waktu.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji secara mendalam bagaimana implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan kompetensi literasi dan numerasi peserta didik. Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus pada beberapa sekolah pelaksana Kurikulum Merdeka di Kalimantan Timur. Data diperoleh melalui observasi kelas, wawancara mendalam dengan guru dan kepala sekolah, serta analisis dokumen pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kurikulum Merdeka memberikan ruang lebih luas bagi guru untuk menerapkan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi, mengoptimalkan projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila, dan merancang alur pembelajaran yang lebih fleksibel sesuai kebutuhan siswa. Implementasi tersebut terbukti mendorong peningkatan kemampuan membaca pemahaman, berpikir kritis, serta pemecahan masalah matematis. Meski demikian, penelitian juga menemukan beberapa tantangan, khususnya terkait kesiapan guru dalam mengadaptasi paradigma baru, keterbatasan sarana penunjang, dan kebutuhan pendampingan berkelanjutan. Secara keseluruhan, Kurikulum Merdeka memiliki potensi signifikan untuk memperkuat literasi dan numerasi apabila ditopang pelatihan yang memadai dan kolaborasi antar pemangku kepentingan pendidikan.

Abstract

Learning evaluation is a central component in determining educational quality; however, evaluation practices in Islamic education often remain dominated by cognitive and summative orientations, limiting their ability to support holistic educational goals. This study explores the integration of Islamic values into learning evaluation as a strategy for improving the quality of Islamic education. Using a qualitative literature review, this research analyzes and synthesizes findings from 20 selected national and international journal articles on learning evaluation, Islamic education, and value-based assessment. Data were examined through descriptive tabulation and thematic analysis to identify dominant patterns and conceptual relationships. The findings reveal that learning evaluation in Islamic education is gradually shifting toward more holistic practices that integrate cognitive, affective, and spiritual dimensions. The integration of Islamic values, such as honesty, responsibility, discipline, and moral integrity, enables evaluation to function not only as a technical measurement tool but also as a pedagogical and moral process that supports character formation. Evidence from program evaluation, instructional assessment instruments, and subject-based learning indicates that value-based evaluation can be applied across educational levels and disciplines. This study concludes that integrating Islamic values into learning evaluation is a foundational approach to strengthening the quality of Islamic education by aligning academic achievement with ethical and spiritual development.

Abstract

Changes in academic leadership often bring complex dynamics. The author's experience as head of a study program provided a space for reflection on how innovation can trigger internal resistance when different paradigms collide. Efforts to provide academic freedom to students—especially in determining thesis topics and types of research—became a point of friction with some lecturers who still maintained old patterns. This article explores these empirical experiences in a narrative-analytical format, combining personal reflections with theoretical frameworks on academic leadership, scientific freedom, and the dynamics of university bureaucracy. Using a reflective qualitative approach, the article outlines five main focuses: innovation, resistance, internal conflict, leadership under pressure, and academic freedom as a student right. The findings suggest that innovation often requires challenging negotiations within organizational culture, while resistance can open the door to more constructive dialogue when managed appropriately. The article concludes with recommendations for strengthening more supportive, adaptive, and humanistic academic leadership.

Abstract

Mosque-based educational institutions play a vital role in supporting the academic, moral, and spiritual development of Muslim communities. Their effectiveness, however, depends on sound educational management practices. This study explores how the Baitul Muttaqin Mosque Islamic Center implements core management functions across its formal and non-formal educational units. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed, collecting data through in-depth interviews, participant observations, and document analysis with key informants, including the head of the Education and Training Unit (UPT), principals, teachers, and administrative staff. Data were analyzed using Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña’s interactive model, complemented by source and method triangulation to ensure credibility. Findings reveal that educational management is structured and value-driven but evolving. Planning is internally coordinated yet lacks consistent stakeholder participation. Organizational practices function effectively, although the absence of written job descriptions sometimes leads to role overlap. Program implementation integrates academic learning with Islamic values, but limited library resources and digital infrastructure constrain optimal delivery. Supervision is regular but informal, without standardized evaluation tools or independent review mechanisms. The study concludes that the Islamic Center demonstrates substantial progress in aligning Islamic educational values with contemporary management practices. Enhancing stakeholder engagement, formal documentation, resource provision, and supervision mechanisms will improve sustainability and effectiveness, positioning mosque-based educational institutions as models for integrated Islamic education in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the internalization of Child-Friendly values in Islamic Religious Education instruction in elementary schools in East Kalimantan, emphasizing the humanistic educational governance aspect as part of Islamic educational management. This study uses a qualitative approach with a multi-site study design. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies. The data analysis technique in this study follows the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, which involves three stages: data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results show that the process of internalizing Child-Friendly values is carried out through three stages: value transformation, value transaction, and value internalization. The habitualization of values through religious and social activities such as congregational prayer and joint tadarus, along with the involvement of parents and the community, has proven effective in creating a child-friendly school culture. The implications of this study highlight the importance of integrating educational governance grounded in humanistic values into educational management, where all relevant parties, including teachers and parents, play a role in creating a safe, inclusive educational environment that supports the holistic development of students’ character.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of Total Quality Management (TQM) principles in the management of educational staff at MTs Darul Ihsan Samarinda. The study focuses on five key TQM principles: customer focus, total involvement, continuous improvement, visionary leadership commitment, and data-based decision-making. This research used a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection techniques including interviews, observation, and documentation. The study subjects consisted of the principal, teachers, and administrative staff. The results indicate that TQM implementation at MTs Darul Ihsan has been quite effective, particularly in terms of visionary leadership and staff involvement. The principal plays an active role in building a culture of quality through open communication, staff empowerment, and regular performance evaluations. The principle of continuous improvement is implemented through periodic training and supervision, while the customer focus is realized through student and parent satisfaction surveys. However, challenges remain in the utilization of data and the lack of an integrated quality information system. Overall, the implementation of TQM principles has positively contributed to improving professionalism, discipline, and collaboration among educational staff at MTs Darul Ihsan Samarinda. This study recommends strengthening the data-driven management system, providing ongoing training for educational staff, and improving information technology support to ensure optimal and sustainable TQM implementation.

Abstract

Program Studi Lapangan sebagai Dosen merupakan inisiatif inovatif yang dirancang untuk memperkuat kompetensi pedagogik dan profesional calon pendidik di UIN Sultan Aji Muhammad Idris Samarinda, khususnya dalam mata kuliah Komunikasi Pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi program, termasuk strategi pembelajaran, dinamika kelas, dan dampaknya terhadap kemampuan mengajar mahasiswa. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus, data dikumpulkan melalui observasi langsung, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data mengikuti model interaktif Miles, Huberman, dan Saldaña, yang terdiri dari kondensasi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan/verifikasi kesimpulan yang dilakukan secara siklis. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa program ini diimplementasikan melalui tiga tahap utama: persiapan mengajar, praktik mengajar, dan refleksi-evaluasi. Program ini secara efektif meningkatkan keterampilan mahasiswa dalam mempersiapkan materi pembelajaran, mengelola kelas, dan menerapkan strategi komunikasi pendidikan yang dialogis. Tantangan utama meliputi tingkat kesiapan mahasiswa yang bervariasi, waktu praktik yang terbatas, dan kurangnya pengalaman dalam menangani hambatan komunikasi antarpeserta didik. Secara keseluruhan, program Studi Lapangan sebagai Dosen terbukti relevan dan memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan terhadap pengembangan kompetensi pedagogik calon pendidik di masa mendatang. Abstract

Pelaksanaan kuliah lapangan oleh mahasiswa Pascasarjana Universitas Islam Negeri Sultan Aji Muhammad Idris (UINISI) Samarinda dalam penguatan kompetensi manajerial di Kantor Wilayah Kementerian Agama Provinsi Kalimantan Timur. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan rancangan studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan studi dokumentasi terhadap mahasiswa peserta kuliah lapangan, pembimbing lapangan, dan pejabat struktural di Kantor Wilayah Kementerian Agama. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kuliah lapangan memiliki kontribusi yang signifikan dalam peningkatan kompetensi manajerial mahasiswa, terutama pada aspek perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi program. Namun, pelaksanaan program tersebut masih menghadapi tantangan berupa keterbatasan waktu praktik, variasi kualitas pendampingan, dan kurang optimalnya sinkronisasi antara kurikulum akademik dengan kebutuhan instansi. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penguatan rancangan kuliah lapangan berbasis kompetensi dan peningkatan kolaborasi strategis antar perguruan tinggi dan lembaga mitra. Kata Kunci: Kuliah Lapangan, Kompetensi Manajerial, dan Manajemen Pendidikan Islam.
