Abstract

AbstractThe title of this study is "Full Day School Implementation and Full Day School Implicationsin the sociology learning class XI IPS at SMAN 10 Pontianak "This study aims to determine the general problems in this study, namely" How is the Implementation and Implications of Full Day School in sociology learning class XI IPS at SMAN 10 Pontianak? ". With sub-problems: 1) How is the implementation of full day school related to planning, implementation and evaluation at SMAN 10 Pontianak? 2) What are the implications of full day school for teachers, students, and schools in SMAN 10 Pontianak ?. The form of research used in this study is qualitative research with descriptive research methods. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study, namely that the implementation of full day school has been fairly good but not yet perfect the implications of full day school have indeed had a good impact on students. Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of students' social status on the cohesiveness of students in SMP Negeri 3 Sajingan Sambas Regency. The method used in this study is descriptive method with quantifiative research form. The population in this study was 140 students with a sample of 104 students. Data collection used is through indirect communication (questionnaire) and documenter studies. In this study obtained 1) the average value of variable social status of students in SMP Negeri 3 Sajingan amounted to 34.62 classified in the low category, 2) the average value of cohesiveness of students in SMP N egeri 3 Sajingan amounted to 36.97 classified in the low category. 3) the fcalculate amounted to 10,756 which is greater than the ftabel value of 0.004 so that Ho was rejected and Ha accepted which means that the social status of students has an influence on the cohesiveness of students at SMP Negeri 3 Sajingan. The coefficient of determination (R2) indicates a number of 0.672 = 67.2 %. so that the percentage of the influence of student social status on student cohesion if 67.2%. So, there is an influence on the social status of junior high school students on the cohesiveness of students at SMP Negeri 3 Sajingan.

Abstract

This study delves into the "Implementation of Technological Pedagogical and Content Knowledge (TPACK) in Social Science Subjects as an Effort to Recover Learning Post-COVID-19 Pandemic at SMA Negeri 4 Pontianak." It involves in-depth interviews to explore the application of TPACK, its effectiveness, and the challenges teachers encounter in its implementation. The findings indicate that the adoption of TPACK has had a positive impact on the quality of post-pandemic learning. Teachers effectively utilized technology to enhance engagement, relevance, and interactivity of learning, as well as to simplify the explanation of case studies. However, some TPACK indicators were not fully implemented, highlighting the need for further training. The study also uncovered challenges such as limited technology infrastructure, technical difficulties, access issues, and time constraints, which impede the creation of an optimal learning experience at SMA Negeri 4 Pontianak.

Abstract

This study uses a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. This study aims to analyze of social transformation of school head at Madrasah Aliyah Raudhatul Ulum Meranti, where this social transformation focuses on the transformation of ideas and the transformation of actions. The location of this research is at Madrasah Aliyah Raudhatul Ulum Meranti, which is located in Meranti Village, Sungai Ambawang District, Kubu Raya Regency. The data collection techniques in this study are observation, interview, and documentation. While the data collection tools are observation guidelines, interview guidelines, and documentation studies. In data analysis techniques, the writer uses data reduction, data display, and data verification. The result of this study shows that there are positive and negative responses in applying the transformation of ideas and transformation of actions to the school head of MAS Raudhatul Ulum Meranti. The positive responses came from school residents, student guardians, and the surrounding community by assessing the social transformation carried out by the school principal as an achievement that had never been carried out by the previous school head. while the negative response came from some school residents, student guardians and the surrounding community because the social transformation they carried out paid little attention to the social, economic conditions and habits of the people there and the lack of socialization before the transformation was carried out. This is what later gave rise to polemics, which included strained social relations between school head, school residents, the surrounding community and the student guardians.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the social relations of kinship in the traditional wedding ceremony of the Taman Dayak tribe and to find out the stages in carrying out the Taman Dayak traditional marriage in Malapi Village, South Putussibau District. The research method used is descriptive with a qualitative research form. The source of this research data is the traditional advice in Malapi Village. Data collection techniques in this study are through observation, interviews, recording and documentation. While the tools used in data collection are observation guides, interview guides and notebooks. The analysis in this study is presented in a qualitative descriptive form using 3 informants. The results of this study show the form of relations, while also showing that the implementation of Taman Dayak tribal marriages includes three stages, namely, the mananya' stage, the paloa' stage, and the sule' stage.

Abstract

This study examines the nationalism attitudes of border communities in Entikong District, Sanggau Regency, Indonesia. Nationalism is understood as a sense of love and dedication to one’s homeland, demonstrated through a willingness to contribute to the nation's progress and prosperity. Employing a qualitative research design with a descriptive approach, the study involved continuous engagement with individuals and groups in the community. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing techniques. The findings reveal that the nationalism of the Entikong border community is strong. This is evidenced by their enthusiastic and responsible display of the Indonesian flag during independence celebrations, compliance with border regulations, preference for domestic products, and active participation in community activities such as mutual cooperation and events marking the country's independence. The community also exhibits a commitment to fostering religious harmony and prioritizing locally made goods. However, the study is limited in scope as it does not explore other factors influencing nationalism, such as the role of mass media, educational initiatives, or government policies. Future research should delve deeper into these aspects to provide a more comprehensive understanding of the drivers of nationalist attitudes in border regions.

Abstract

This study aims to describe Mechanical Solidarity in the Antar Pakatan Tradition in Sambas Malay Ethnic Weddings in Singaraya Village, Semparuk District, Sambas Regency using a qualitative approach with a descriptive method, employing observation, interviews, and documentation for data collection. The findings indicate that collective activities play a crucial role in these weddings, where the local community actively participates in various event stages, such as venue preparation, cooking, arranging dishes, and serving guests, reflecting strong values of family bonds and mutual cooperation (gotong royong). The Antar Pakatan tradition showcases a strong collective awareness, with the community working harmoniously, prioritizing communal interests over individual ones, maintaining unity through cooperation, collective commitment, and a shared focus on the event's success and tradition"™s continuity. Furthermore, this tradition reduces individualism and fosters active participation, where a sense of togetherness and collective responsibility ensures that individuals prioritize community well-being over personal interests, strengthening unity and enhancing the quality of the tradition in uniting the community.

Abstract

Tradisi Pedagi merupakan tradisi yang dilakukan turun-temurun oleh masyarakat Dayak Pangkodant di Embaong dan masih lestari hingga saat ini. Tradisi Pedagi ini dilakukan di tempat yang berupa pondok kecil, dalam bahasa kampung Embaong dikenal sebagai Pomobank, dan dilaksankan setiap 1 tahun sekali pada bulan 5 kurang lebih 15-20 hari sebelum dilakukanya Nosu Minu Podi. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui tradisi Pedagi pada masyarakat Dayak Pangkodant di Embaong Kelurahan Bunut Kecamatan Kapuas Kabupaten Sanggau. Pada penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan etnografi untuk memaparkan dan menganalisis sebuah fenomena berdasarkan data yang diperoleh secara faktual selama proses penelitian berlangsung. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, serta dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, bahwa: (1) latar belakang terjadinya tradisi Pedagi pada masyarakat Dayak Pangkodant di Embaong Kelurahan Bunut Kecamatan Kapuas Kabupaten Sanggau untuk mengucapkan rasa syukur kepada Tuhan melalui perantara Pedagi Akek Badol dan Akek Cuer yang telah memberikan berkat berupa rezeki, kesehatan dan dijauhkan dari hal-hal buruk. (2) tahap pelaksanaan tradisi Pedagi dimulai dengan tempat pelaksanaan tradisi Pedagi, musyawarah, orang-orang yang telibat dalam Tradisi Pedagi di Embaong, dilanjutkan dengan tahap persiapan dan terakhir tahap pelaksanaan tradisi Pedagi di Embaong. (3) nilai-nilai dalam tradisi Pedagi pada masyarakat Dayak Pangkodant terdiri dari nilai religius, nilai gotong royong, dan nilai budaya.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how educational values in the tradition of bibu adat of Dayak bekidoh community in Engkode Village, Sanggau Regency. The research method is qualitative research with a descriptive approach to create a description of the educational values ​​of the Dayak Bekidoh community in Engkode Village. The data collection techniques are observation, interviews and documentation techniques. Data analysis uses data reduction and data presentation and drawing conclusions. The research results show that (1) the traditional bibu tradition aims to unite male and female couples in a traditional way, asking for blessing from God (Akek Penompo) and the ancestors, as well as validating and confirming the couple's status in custom and in society. (2) There are four educational values ​​in the Dayak Bekidoh community in Enkode Village, namely: religious values, moral values, cultural values ​​and also social values. In the procession, this traditional bibu tradition involves God and ancestors. Educative values ​​are instilled through joint activities such as mutual cooperation, mutual assistance, mutual aid and cooperation between communities. and through the symbolic meaning of tools and food menus in this tradition which teaches honesty, empathy, responsibility, and the importance of maintaining harmony in household life.

Abstract

Secara umum penelitian ini membahas isu pokok mengenai keberlangsungan dan perubahan dalam Tradisi Dange pada Suku Dayak Kayaan Mendalam di Desa Datah Dian, Kecamatan Putussibau Utara, selama periode 1980"“2022. Tradisi Dange merupakan upacara adat yang diwariskan secara turun-temurun dan memiliki makna penting dalam kehidupan sosial dan spiritual masyarakat. Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah untuk memberikan informasi mengenai bagaimana tradisi tersebut berkembang di tengah perubahan sosial, budaya, dan agama. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian sejarah, dengan tahapan pemilihan topik, heuristik, verifikasi, interpretasi, dan historiografi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun terjadi perubahan pada bentuk prosesi, terutama sejak terjadinya inkulturasi antara ajaran Katolik dan tradisi adat, makna dari Tradisi Dange tetap terjaga hingga sekarang. Inkulturasi tersebut menghasilkan perpaduan yang harmonis tanpa menghilangkan nilai-nilai inti tradisi. Implikasi dari temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa komunitas lokal memiliki kemampuan adaptif dalam menjaga warisan budaya mereka, sekaligus menunjukkan bahwa tradisi dapat bertahan dan berkembang seiring perubahan zaman, asalkan nilai-nilai dasarnya tetap dipertahankan.
