Abstract

Keunggulan penggunaan media pembelajaran meliputi beberapa hal. Pertama, media pembelajaran memberikan pedoman bagi guru dalam mencapai tujuan pembelajaran. Dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran, guru dapat merencanakan pengajaran dengan lebih terarah dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa. Kedua, media pembelajaran membantu penyajian materi pelajaran dengan cara yang menarik sehingga meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Penggunaan media pembelajaran yang kreatif dan interaktif dapat membuat siswa lebih tertarik dan terlibat aktif dalam proses pembelajaran. Ketiga, media pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan minat belajar siswa. Tujuan dari penulisan artikel ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengembangan media pembelajaran komik dalam meningkatkan minat belajar peserta didik. Metode SLR (Systematic Literature Review) digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan komik sebagai media pembelajaran menawarkan pendekatan yang menarik dan efektif bagi siswa karena sifatnya yang lugas, mudah dipahami, serta mampu menghidupkan materi pelajaran dengan kreativitas visual.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi dampak penggunaan aplikasi Quizizz  sebagai metode penilaian dalam pembelajaran fisika, terutama pada sub bab sumber radiasi elektromagnetik. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif. Adapun teknik analisis data menggunakan literature review. Data untuk penelitian ini dikumpulkan melalui jurnal elektronik nasional dan internasional yang diakses melalui database dengan menggunakan teknik penelusuran elektronik. Beberapa artikel dipilih berdasarkan kata kunci “Quizizz ” dan “evaluasi pembelajaran fisika”. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan aplikasi Quizizz  sebagai alat penilaian dalam pembelajaran fisika memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap minat, motivasi, dan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to see and determine the growth of students' literacy and numeracy skills and abilities in physics material. Literacy and numeracy skills in solving physics learning problems refer to numbers and symbols used to make conceptual predictions in data analysis to draw conclusions. This research uses a literature study method with the PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses) technique. Based on the results of the analysis of 3 appropriate journals from a database of 200 journals reviewed, it can be concluded that increasing students' literacy and numeracy skills can improve student learning outcomes in effective physics learning, improve learning outcomes and develop and increase interest in physics and the level of students' literacy and numeracy abilities are at the secondary level, and there is a significant positive relationship between literacy and numeracy abilities and physics learning outcomes based on research findings. Students in the high ability category in numeracy literacy are able to state the meaning, use of numbers and basic mathematical symbols. Students with moderate abilities are less precise in using numbers and basic mathematical symbols, some are not able to obtain information, and not all are able to make decisions.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the development of physics teaching tools using Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) approach to enhance students' creativity. A qualitative approach was used to gain a deeper understanding of students' experiences with learning tools and their impact on creativity. This approach focuses on gathering information from relevant scientific papers between 2020 and 2024. These papers can be accessed in PDF format through Google Scholar using the Publish or Perish (PoP) application. A search of scientific papers using the keywords 'physics', 'STEM', and 'student creativity' yielded 200 journal articles. Based on the analysis, we conclude that the STEM approach provides a strong foundation for enhancing student creativity in the context of physics learning. This suggests that STEM not only effectively improves understanding and problem-solving skills, but also provides opportunities for students to think critically and find innovative solutions when learning physics.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of a flipped classroom integrated with animation-assisted Problem Based Learning on students' cognitive learning outcomes in thermodynamics material at SMA Negeri 1 Gandapura. The type of research used was quasi-experimental with a design in the form of a nonequivalent control group design. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, with a population of all class XI IPAS students. The sample in this research was class XI Science 3 as an experimental class taught using a flipped classroom integrated with Problem Based Learning assisted by animation and class The research instrument is the test. validation test of 20 questions that have been validated by experts using SPSS software. The results of data testing using the independent sample t test obtained a sig value. (2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05. From this test it can be concluded that the flipped classroom model integrated with problem based learning assisted by animation has an effect in improving students' cognitive learning outcomes compared to conventional models

Abstract

The skin is the outermost part of the body that limits it from the human environment. Damage to the skin glands can cause skin disorders, one of which is acne. The bacteria that cause acne are Propionibacterium acnes bacteria. Antibiotics are needed to inhibit bacterial growth, but improper use can cause side effects. The purpose of this study was to explore the antibacterial activity of the ethanol extract gel preparation of rimbang leaves (solanum torvum swartz) against propionibacterium acnes bacteria. This research method is with an experimental quantitative approach. The stages of the study include screening of powdered simplicia and ethanol extract, Formulation of gel preparations without test materials and ethanol extract of rimbang leaves (EEDR) 10%, 20%, 30%, Evaluation tests of the preparations include: organoleptic, homogeneity, stability, adhesion, spreadability, viscosity, pH, irritation, and preference. Then the antibacterial activity test uses the well method. The results showed that the screening results on powdered simplicia and ethanol extract met the physical quality requirements of secondary metabolite compounds. The results of the antibacterial activity of EEDR 30% bacterial inhibition diameter of 14.33 ± 8.72. EEDR 20% produced a bacterial inhibition diameter of 12 ± 11.4. EEDR 10% produced a bacterial inhibition diameter of 10.67 ± 8.70. While the blank produced a bacterial inhibition diameter of 6.33 ± 3.26. From this study it can be concluded that the preparation of ethanol extract gel of rimbang leaves has inhibitory activity against Propionibacterium acnes bacteria.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of interests and talents in the learning process of high school students and their impact on academic achievement. The method used is Systematic Literature Review (SLR), involving the selection and analysis of five articles relevant to the research topic. The results show that strong interest enhances students' intrinsic motivation, while natural talents help them understand and apply academic concepts more effectively. Additionally, metacognitive skills significantly contribute to learning outcomes, particularly in complex subjects such as chemical equilibrium. These findings emphasize the importance of learning approaches based on students' interests and talents, supported by student-centered teaching strategies. Inclusive education that accommodates the diversity of students' interests and talents is a crucial factor in creating an effective learning environment. Therefore, teachers and parents need to play an active role in motivating students to explore and develop their potential. This study recommends the development of innovative and sustainable learning strategies to improve student engagement and academic achievement. Further research is needed to examine other factors influencing the relationship between interests, talents, and learning outcomes.

Abstract

Daun Sembukan (Paederia foetida l.) adalah tanaman liar yang banyak tumbuh didaerah pohon kelapa sawit atau di semak belukar.  Daun Sembukan (Paederia foetida l.) umumnya dipergunakan oleh masyarakat sebagai tanaman obat yang di antaranya berkhasiat sebagai antibiotik, anti fungi, dan anti radang pada kulit. Dengan perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan, daun Sembukan yang semulanya dimanfaatkan hanya dalam bentuk aslinya, kini dapat dijadikan krim. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mensosialisasikan pemanfaatan krim ekstrak etanol daun Sembukan (Paederia foetida l.) dalam mengatasi masalah kulit yang disebabkan oleh bakteri Staphylococcus aureus dan Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Metode yang digunakan pada kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah sosialisasi dalam bentuk ceramah interaktif disertai dengan peragaan dan umpan balik dari masyarakat. Melalui kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini, maka diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa : (1) Pengetahuan masyarakat mengenai manfaat daun Sembukan bertambah; (2) Bentuk krim dengan konsentrasi 5% ekstrak etanol daun Sembukan (EEDS) disukai oleh masyarakat karena mudah pada saat pengaplikasiannya dan krim dengan konsentrasi 10% dan 15%  EEDS kurang disukai masyarakat. Warna krim untuk konsentrasi 5% EEDS disukai oleh masyarakat dan krim dengan konsentrasi 10% dan 15% EEDS kurang disukai masyarakat karena memiliki warna yang kurang menarik. Aroma krim dengan konsentrasi 5% EEDS disukai oleh masyarakat. Aroma krim dengan konsentrasi 10% EEDS kurang disukai oleh masyarakat dan krim dengan konsentrasi 15% EEDS banyak tidak disukai oleh masyarakat karena memiliki aroma lebih tajam dari daun Sembukan.

Abstract

Data recommendations are built by displaying the results of student subject recommendations based on students' computational thinking value. The process carried out is tokenization, stopword removal, stemming, and weighting. The extraction results were then compared using the cosine similarity approach. The greater the value of cosine similarity produced, the more similar the two data are, so that the material recommendations will be based on the smallest cosine similarity value between the extraction of student recommendation data. From the 535 data, several student data are included in 3 levels of material, namely recommendation 0 (low), recommendation 1 (medium), and recommendation 2 (high). Recommendation data was obtained from the results of students' computational thinking calculations by looking at decomposition value, pattern value, abstraction value, and algorithm value.

Abstract

Education plays an important role in developing human potential to face future challenges. One of the newest concepts in education is differentiated learning, which aims to meet the individual needs of students with tailored teaching strategies. This study uses the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method with the PRISMA approach to explore the obstacles faced by teachers in implementing differentiated learning in junior high schools. A literature search was conducted through Google Scholar with related keywords between 2020-2024, resulting in 19 articles that met the inclusion criteria. The results of the analysis show that the main obstacles include teacher readiness, technology limitations, and inadequate time allocation. The proposed solutions include increased teacher training, the provision of adequate technological resources, and better planning for time allocation. Support from schools and supportive policies is also crucial to support the effective implementation of differentiated learning in junior high schools.
