Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis efektivitas media Kantong Ciri-ciri Makhluk Hidup dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep siswa sekolah dasar pada materi ciri-ciri makhluk hidup. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan subjek 1 guru kelas III dan 25 siswa di SD Negeri 27 Banda Aceh. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, lalu dianalisis dengan model Miles, Huberman, dan Saldaña. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebelum penggunaan media, siswa mengalami kesulitan memahami konsep abstrak, seperti peka terhadap rangsangan dan bernapas. Setelah penggunaan media, pemahaman meningkat, tercermin dari kemampuan siswa menjelaskan materi dengan bahasa sendiri, mengaitkan konsep dengan contoh nyata, serta berpartisipasi aktif dalam diskusi. Media yang dirancang visual-interaktif ini mendorong active learning, memicu rasa ingin tahu, dan memperkuat keterlibatan emosional siswa. Guru menyatakan suasana kelas menjadi lebih hidup, kondusif, dan kolaboratif. Kendala yang ditemukan meliputi keterbatasan jumlah media dan waktu pembelajaran. Secara keseluruhan, media Kantong Ciri-ciri Makhluk Hidup efektif menjembatani konsep abstrak menjadi konkret, sejalan dengan teori perkembangan kognitif Piaget, serta relevan untuk diterapkan dalam pembelajaran IPA di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji secara mendalam efektivitas penerapan eksperimen sederhana untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep fotosintesis pada siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 27 Banda Aceh. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan jenis eksperimen, melibatkan satu guru kelas IV dan 30 siswa sebagai subjek penelitian. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi aktivitas siswa, wawancara mendalam dengan guru, dan dokumentasi pembelajaran berlangsung. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan untuk mendapatkan gambaran menyeluruh hasil penelitian. Temuan menunjukkan lebih dari 85% siswa aktif terlibat dalam kegiatan pembelajaran, menunjukkan antusiasme tinggi saat mengamati jalannya eksperimen, serta memberikan respons positif ketika terlibat dalam diskusi kelompok di kelas. Guru melaporkan eksperimen sederhana mempermudah siswa memahami hubungan antara proses fotosintesis, produksi oksigen, dan peran vital tumbuhan bagi kelestarian ekosistem. Hasil observasi dan wawancara menyatakan siswa tidak hanya menghafal definisi fotosintesis, tetapi mampu menghubungkannya dengan keberlangsungan kehidupan di bumi, juga menyadari pentingnya tumbuhan sebagai penghasil makanan dan penjaga kualitas udara. Secara keseluruhan, penelitian ini membuktikan eksperimen sederhana merupakan strategi pembelajaran efektif, menarik, dan mampu mendorong keterlibatan aktif siswa serta memperdalam pemahaman konseptual mereka terhadap materi fotosintesis.

Abstract

Pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA) di tingkat sekolah dasar memiliki peran strategis dalam menanamkan pemahaman awal mengenai fenomena alam dan membentuk pola pikir ilmiah siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap konsepdispersi dan pembiasan pada cahaya melalui eksperimen sederhana tentang pelangi. Kegiatan tersebut dilakukan di kelas V SD Negeri 2 Banda Aceh menggunakan metode eksperimen langsung dengan menggunakan media berupa baskom berisi air, cermin datar, dan cahaya matahari alami. Pendekatan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK), model Kemmis dan Taggart, yang terdiri dari dua siklus, digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Tes pemahaman konsep, dokumentasi visual, dan lembar observasi keterampilan eksperimen adalah alat yang digunakan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman siswa meningkat sebesar 85% pada akhir siklus kedua dari 40% pada pra-siklus. Selain itu, lebih dari 90 persen siswa melakukan eksperimen secara mandiri dan berhasil melihat spektrum warna pelangi (merah, jingga, kuning, hijau, biru, nila, dan ungu). Selain itu, eksperimen ini meningkatkan antusiasme siswa dan tingkat partisipasi aktif mereka dalam proses pembelajaran. Eksperimen pelangi sederhana ini disarankan sebagai metode pembelajaran kontekstual yang efektif untuk materi cahaya karena temuan ini mendukung penelitian sebelumnya yang menunjukkan bahwa teknik eksperimen sangat efektif dalam meningkatkan penguasaan konsep sains dasar disekolah dasar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran interaktif mengenai sistem pernapasan manusia yang dirancang khusus untuk siswa Sekolah Dasar Negeri 34 Banda Aceh. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah rendahnya pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep sistem pernapasan yang memerlukan media pembelajaran inovatif dan mudah digunakan. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2025 dengan menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE yang mencakup tahap analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Tahap analisis dilakukan melalui wawancara dan observasi kelas untuk mengidentifikasi kebutuhan siswa dan guru. Media yang dikembangkan kemudian diuji melalui angket kepraktisan dan keefektifan, serta evaluasi hasil belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media pembelajaran interaktif ini mampu meningkatkan pemahaman siswa secara signifikan. Rata-rata nilai pre-test siswa sebesar 55% meningkat menjadi 85% pada post-test, menunjukkan peningkatan sebesar 30%. Selain itu, 86% siswa menyatakan bahwa media ini menarik, interaktif, dan mudah digunakan, sedangkan 92% guru menilai media sangat praktis serta layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran IPA. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran interaktif yang dikembangkan tidak hanya efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep sistem pernapasan manusia, tetapi juga memenuhi kriteria kelayakan sebagai media pembelajaran di sekolah dasar. Media ini direkomendasikan untuk digunakan secara lebih luas dan dapat dikembangkan untuk materi IPA lainnya.

Abstract

Student involvement in science learning is very minus if the learning provided is not meaningful and less attractive to students. Conventional learning carried out by teachers does not provide confidence in the learning process has not had an impact on learning outcomes. This research aims to provide descriptive information about comic-based integrated science implemented in grade V of SD Negeri Paya Kalui East Aceh. This type of research is qualitative descriptive. Data were collected through observation and interviews. The stages of data analysis used are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results of data analysis showed that teachers made integrated science teaching media based on comics, namely by making picture books and having words and colors from the figure of someone who seemed to be talking, thinking, and doing something. The teacher demonstrates how cartoons speak in different tones and voices as if in a story there are many who play a role, but it is the teacher who speaks, exemplifying with different tones of voice and accents. Comic-based integrated science learning has a good impact and provides a unique and fun learning nuance for students so that learning looks meaningful and gives its own meaning to students.

Abstract

Process science skills are an important part of the Natural and Social Sciences, as process science skills can help students understand the world around them, think critically and creatively and can apply their knowledge to solve problems. To achieve science process skills, a learning model is needed that can encourage students to associate material with phenomena This study aims to determine the science process skills and learning outcomes of grade V students by using the PBL learning model on energy materials and their changes at SDN Seuneubok Johan East Aceh. The sample in this study was grade V students totaling 32 students. Data collection techniques use test techniques and observation sheets. The research data were analyzed using descriptive analysis. The results of the analysis and science process skills and student learning outcomes obtained showed that the average percentage of the eight indicators of science process skills and the four types of assessment of learning outcomes was in the range of 61%-100% values with good (77.26%) and very good (94.15%) categories, so it can be concluded that there is an influence in the use of PBL learning models on science process skills and student learning outcomes

Abstract

Learning can be obtained by students not only within the school environment, but outside the school environment students can explore knowledge related to the material in the classroom through the field trip learning method. This study aims to determine the application of field trip learning methods to the learning outcomes of students in Elementary School (SD). This research uses a type of qualitative descriptive research with literature studies from relevant research. Data is obtained from various sources including published articles, books, and other relevant literature. The results of this research show that the field trip learning method is a learning method that can direct students to study somewhere directly according to the material they are studying. The field trip learning method can have a positive impact on student learning outcomes. So it can be concluded that in learning teachers can use a variety of learning methods that are adapted to the material, one of which is using the field trip method with their students

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of leadership, principal management, and interpersonal communication on the performance of elementary school teachers in Montasik sub-district. The success of national education goals depends on the human resources in the school, namely principals, teachers, operators, administration, school guards, and students. This research was conducted with a quantitative approach. Data collection techniques using questionnaire dissemination techniques and analyzed using the help of SPSS Windows Version 21 Software and tendency tables of research variables. This research was conducted in elementary schools in Montasik sub-district consisting of 5 schools, namely SDN Pante Kareung, SDN Piyeung, SDN 1 Lampaseh, SDN 2 Lampaseh and SDN Semet. This research was conducted using a quantitative approach. The results of this research prove that principal leadership, principal management and interpersonal communication tested using multiple linear regression together have a positive and significant effect on the performance of elementary school teachers in Montasik District, 47.50%.

Abstract

This research aims to develop SKL (Graduate Competency Standards) based on SPMI (Internal Quality Assurance System). This research was conducted at Nurul Ishlah Integrated Islamic Elementary School in Banda Aceh City. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method, which is a process or steps to develop a new product or perfect an existing product. The data collection techniques used in this study were through observation, questionnaires, and interviews. Data analysis was carried out descriptively to obtain data on SPMI-based SKL. The results of the study proved that the SPMI-Based SKL Development Model to Improve the Quality of Education at SDIT Nurul Ishlah in Banda Aceh city, which was compiled by the school in addition to referring to the Minister of National Education Regulation number 20 of 2016, also refers to the quality standard curriculum of Integrated Islamic Schools (SIT) which is then used as Quality Assurance for graduates at SDIT Nurul Ishlah, involving 2 categories, namely akhlak karimah (prayer with awareness,  fond of reading the Quran, devoted to parents, discipline, confident, polite and polite, clean and healthy culture, honest) and optimal academic achievement (tartil reading the Quran, complete the field of study, memorize the three juz of the Quran, communicate well and read effectively

Abstract

This research aims to describe the readiness of elementary school teachers in implementing the Independent Learning Curriculum in Peukan Bada District, Aceh Besar Regency. The research was carried out at Peukan Bada State Elementary School I and Lamteh State Elementary School. This research uses field research with descriptive research and a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques can be done by observation, interviews, questionnaires, documentation. Data analysis in the field includes recording, coding and temporary interpretation of various information obtained at various research steps. The results of the research prove that there is teacher readiness in implementing the independent learning curriculum, the need for the use of the Independent Learning Platform by teachers who will implement the independent learning curriculum so that it can support the student-friendly learning process as expected in the independent learning curriculum
