Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan strategi guru dalam mengenalkan literasi lingkungan hidup anak usia 5-6 tahun. Literasi lingkungan hidup menjadi semakin penting dalam menghadapi tantangan perubahan iklim. Guru memiliki peran yang strategis dalam membentuk pemahaman serta kesadaran anak terhadap lingkungan sejak usia dini. Peneliti menganalisis hasil temuan jurnal yang berkaitan dengan kontribusi guru dalam proses belajar mengajar untuk mengenalkan literasi lingkungan hidup pada anak usia 5-6 tahun. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui studi pustakaan/literature review. Metode yang digunakan adalah mengkaji berbagai penelitian dan artikel ilmiah yang sesuai dengan topik kemudian diidentifikasi, dievaluasi dan disintesis. Hasil kajian pustaka menunjukkan bahwa guru memiliki peran kunci dalam mengenalkan konsep-konsep dasar lingkungan hidup kepada anak-anak melalui pendekatan pembelajaran yang interaktif dan menyenangkan. Metode pengajaran yang efektif meliputi penggunaan cerita, permainan, proyek, dan kegiatan praktis yang melibatkan anak secara langsung dengan alam. Guru juga dihimbau untuk mengintegrasikan literasi lingkungan dalam kurikulum harian dan bekerja sama dengan orang tua serta komunitas untuk memperkuat pesan-pesan lingkungan. Hasil penelitian ini juga menunjukkan bahwa terdapat empat komponen utama literasi lingkungan yaitu pengetahuan mengenai isu lingkungan, keterampilan berpikir kritis, sikap terhadap lingkungan, dan perilaku terkait lingkungan. Implikasi dari penelitian ini ialah pentingnya pengembangan keterampilan profesional guru mengenai literasi lingkungan hidup agar guru dapat memberikan pendidikan lingkungan yang bermakna dan efektif bagi anak usia dini

Abstract

Penggunaan teknologi pendidikan menjadi permasalahan umum yang dihadapi guru dan siswa didik, salah satunya di Lembaga Pendidikan berbasis Pesantren. Faktor penyebab kurang berkembangnya penggunaan teknologi pendidikan salah satunya adalah cara pandang lembaga pendidikan yang hanya berfokus terhadap kurikulum pendidikan Agama. Kurangnya sarana prasarana serta sumber daya manusia juga menjadi kendala dalam penggunaan teknologi. Sehingga perlu pelatihan dan peningkatan pengetahuan khususnya di lembaga pendidikan Islam berbasis Pondok Pesantren. Berdasarkan latar belakang tersebut, dapat dirumuskan masalah sebagai berikut: 1) Pentingnya menumbuhkan kesadaran Yayasan, Guru, dan Santri akan pentingnya penggunaan teknologi pendidikan 2) Bagaimana solusi cerdas mempelajari bahasa Arab dengan Tepat dan efisien di era revolusi Pendidikan. Sedangkan tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk: 1) Menumbuhkan kesadaran Yayasan, Guru, dan santri akan pentingnya aplikasi Think Qur’an. 2) Memberikan keterampilan kepada guru dan santri untuk menggunakan teknologi Pendidikan aplikasi Think Qur’an. Penulis mencari informasi pustaka melalui membaca jurnal ilmiah, buku-buku referensi, karya ilmiah yang relevan dan berbagai hasil penelitian yang aktual. Dari hasil pengabdian Masyarakat ini dapat disimpulkan :1) Think Qur’an sangat efektif untuk dijadikan solusi dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Arab, 2) Think Qur’an merupakan salah upaya inovatif yang mempermudah siswa dan guru dalam mempelajari bahasa Arab. 3) Demonstrasi permainan dan kuis mempermudah guru dan siswa dalam menggunakan aplikasi Think Qur’an.

Abstract

Background. Gallery, Library, Archive, and Museum (GLAM) for biodiversity is a documentation center for research institutions on biodiversity as a means of transferring information and knowledge to the public. The functions of education, research, preservation, information, and recreation can be obtained from GLAM. The goal of this study is to inform the potential and form of GLAM innovation in the Cibinong area so that it can become a National Documentation Center for Biodiversity.Methods. The research method uses the observation method by looking at facts in the field and literature studies to support this research.Results and discussion. This study describes the Cibinong Science Center area has five libraries of various disciplines. Regarding biodiversity, the Cibinong area has a biology library with a collection of more than 10,000 books. In the zoology building, there is an animal biodiversity gallery located under the library building. In addition, the Research Center for Biology has a collection of animal specimens in the zoology building, a collection of herbarium specimens at the Botanical Building and the InaCC Building (Indonesian Culture Collection) to store microorganisms.Conclusions. The concept of developing GLAM for Biodiversity in Cibinong Science Center can be applied. Collaboration with other documentary unit manager such archivist and specimen curators must be carried out in order to create GLAM for Biodiversity. The concept of innovation in the development of GLAM is to integrate it in one building and management.

Abstract

Pregnancy is a time full of physical and emotional changes, which are often accompanied by various discomforts. One effort to reduce this discomfort is through pregnancy exercise, which has been proven to provide both physical and psychological benefits. This community service aims to explore the impact of pregnancy exercise counseling and assistance in reducing discomfort during pregnancy. This activity was carried out on November 5 2024 at the Matahari Clinic Tanjung Morawa involving 14 pregnant women who underwent ANC visits. Through counseling about pregnancy exercise and practical assistance, pregnant women are given an understanding of the benefits of pregnancy exercise in reducing physical complaints such as back pain and leg cramps, as well as reducing anxiety that is often experienced during pregnancy. The results of the activity showed that pregnant women who participated felt calmer and had better physical readiness before giving birth. Thus, counseling and assistance with pregnancy exercise can be an effective method in improving the well-being of pregnant women, both physically and psychologically, during pregnancy.

Abstract Measuring school readiness is crucial for ensuring a smooth transition into formal education. Observation tools play a vital role in assessing various dimensions of readiness, including academic, social, and emotional domains. This literature review critically examines the assessment methods utilized to measure school readiness through observation tools. Drawing from a wide range of scholarly sources, including research articles, reports, and empirical studies, this review evaluates the effectiveness and reliability of different observational approaches. Key aspects explored include the validity of these tools across diverse contexts, their alignment with developmental milestones, and their practical implications for educational settings. By synthesizing current literature, this review aims to provide insights into enhancing the precision and utility of observation tools in assessing school readiness. Recommendations highlight the need for tailored approaches that consider individual differences and cultural contexts, aiming to optimize early childhood educational outcomes. Keywords: School Readiness; Observation Tools; Early Childhood Education; Literature Study Abstrak Mengukur kesiapan sekolah menjadi hal yang krusial untuk memastikan transisi yang lancar ke pendidikan dasar. Alat observasi memainkan peran penting dalam menilai berbagai dimensi kesiapan, termasuk domain akademik, sosial, dan emosional. Tinjauan literatur ini secara kritis mengkaji metode evaluasi yang digunakan untuk mengukur kesiapan sekolah melalui alat observasi. Dengan mengumpulkan sebanyak 25 artikel, termasuk artikel penelitian, laporan, dan studi empiris, tinjauan ini mengevaluasi efektivitas dan keandalan pendekatan observasional yang berbeda. Aspek penting yang dieksplorasi meliputi validitas alat-alat ini dalam berbagai konteks, kesesuaiannya dengan tonggak perkembangan, dan implikasi praktisnya dalam setting pendidikan. Dengan mensintesis literatur saat ini, tinjauan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan wawasan dalam meningkatkan ketepatan dan manfaat alat observasi dalam menilai kesiapan sekolah dan hasilnya adalah kajian literatur ini memperluas pemahaman tentang penggunaan alat observasi untuk mengukur kesiapan sekolah anak dan memberikan panduan untuk penelitian dan aplikasi praktis dalam meningkatkan evaluasi pendidikan anak usia dini. Rekomendasi menyoroti perlunya pendekatan yang disesuaikan yang mempertimbangkan perbedaan individual dan konteks budaya, dengan tujuan mengoptimalkan hasil pendidikan anak usia dini. Abstract

Damage to breast milk occurs due to narrowing of the lactiferous duct, which results in remaining breast milk being trapped in it and causing swelling in the breast. This swelling can be treated with various methods, including the use of drugs or non-pharmacological approaches. One non-pharmacological method is to use a cabbage leaf compress on nipples that are experiencing pain and swelling. This procedure is recommended to be done for 30 minutes and can be repeated for 2 to 3 days. Research was conducted to evaluate the effect of cabbage leaf compresses on breast milk dams before and after use. The research method used was a one group pretest posttest design, with 16 post partum mothers as the sample selected using accidental sampling technique at Clinic X. The measuring instrument used was an observation sheet, and the measurement results were analyzed using the t-test. The results of the study showed a significant change in the condition of breast milk dams before and after using cabbage leaf compresses, with a p-value of 0.015. Therefore, it is recommended for post partum mothers to use cabbage leaf compresses as a method to overcome breast milk dams in order to increase the smooth flow of breast milk.

Abstract

Congestion experienced by pregnant women can cause various negative impacts on their mental and physical health. High anxiety often contributes to mental disorders, such as depression, which can disrupt a mother's mood and emotional well-being. In addition, the stress response that arises from anxiety can result in physical problems, such as headaches, sleep disorders, and digestive problems, which ultimately impact the immune system. This study aims to assess the effectiveness of pregnancy exercise in reducing anxiety in primigravida mothers at the Kasih Ibu Galang Clinic. The method used was a quantitative study with a pretest-posttest design, involving 15 respondents who took part in a pregnancy exercise program for six weeks. Anxiety levels were measured before and after the intervention using an anxiety scale. The research results showed that the average anxiety level of respondents before participating in pregnancy exercise was 1.67, while after the intervention it decreased to 1.20. Statistical analysis produced a p-value of 0.029, which indicated a significant reduction in anxiety levels. These findings indicate that pregnancy exercise is effective in reducing anxiety in primigravida mothers, so it is recommended as an intervention to support mental health during pregnancy.

Abstract

Dysmenorrhea, or menstrual pain, is a common problem frequently experienced by women of reproductive age, including university students. This condition can negatively affect quality of life, disrupt daily routines, and even lower academic performance. For midwifery students, who often have demanding academic and clinical practice schedules, unmanaged menstrual pain can impact study focus, clinical performance, and overall psychological well-being. Therefore, it is important to understand the severity of pain as a basis for selecting appropriate management strategies. One non-pharmacological treatment method used is classical music therapy, as its calming effect is believed to help reduce pain intensity. This study aims to evaluate the effect of classical music therapy on reducing dysmenorrhea pain levels among Midwifery students at Medistra Lubuk Pakam. The research design used was a quasi-experimental approach with a pretest-posttest design without a control group. The study participants consisted of 30 students experiencing dysmenorrhea, selected through purposive sampling. The intervention involved playing classical music for 30 minutes per day over three consecutive days during menstruation. Pain levels were measured using the Visual Analog Scale (VAS) before and after the intervention. The results showed a significant decrease in pain after classical music therapy was administered (p < 0.05), indicating that classical music is effective in alleviating menstrual pain. Based on these findings, classical music can be considered a viable non-pharmacological therapy option for reducing dysmenorrhea among midwifery students. This study is expected to serve as a reference for more comprehensive approaches to managing dysmenorrhea.

Abstract

Kacang tanah (Arachys hypogaea L.) varietas lokal Tuban merupakan salah satu tanaman budidaya yang memiliki potensi ditanam pada lahan marginal bekas tambang kapur karena memiliki adaptasi yang tinggi pada kondisi kering dan alkali. Secara biologi, fisika dan kimia lahan bekas tambang kapur memiliki kesuburan tanah yang rendah. Salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan kesuburannya adalah dengan menggunakan pupuk hayati yang adaptif  pada kondisi lahan bekas tambang kapur. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui potensi pemanfaatan PGPR dari tanaman pioneer yang tumbuh  di lahan bekas tambang kapur terhadap pertumbuhan vegetatif  kacang tanah (Arachys hypogaea L.) varietas lokal Tuban pada media tanam bekas tambang kapur. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan empat perlakuan (25%, 50%, 75% dan 100%) dan satu kontrol (0%) masing-masing lima kali ulangan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa berdasarkan uji MANOVA pemberian berbagai konsentrasi PGPR tidak memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap tinggi dan jumlah daun tanaman.  Sementara berdasarkan uji statistik korelasi Spearman memiliki korelasi yang signifikan terhadap warna daun. Semakin tinggi konsentrasi PGPR yang diberikan menghasilkan warna daun yang semakin hijau berdasarkan skala Leaf Colour Chart (LCC).
