Abstract

The problems faced by the local community are: Lack of knowledge and skills of business actors in marketing their creative business products to a wider community outside the Polewali Mandar district area. The objectives and output targets to be achieved in this activity are that the partner village community can and is able to use social media and E-Commerce applications to market their creative business products or crafts independently and the number of sales of handicraft products and the income of the community of SME players in Alu Village, Alu sub-district increases. The method of implementing this service is the participatory counseling method; demonstration training method and practical activities by participants; and the method of mentoring and assisting community participants (creative business actors).

Abstract

Program pengabdian ini merupakan program yang dilakukan untuk membantu usaha masyarakat pedagang kaki lima yang berada dibawah binaan Event Organizer (EO) Nusantara Muda Pratama yang beroperasi di pulau Bengkalis Kabupaten Bengkalis. Hal ini sangat diperlukan dalam upaya meningkatkan pendapatan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan hidup mereka sehari-hari. Usaha yang dikembangkan adalah kelompok pedangan kaki lima yang berjualan berbagai jenis makanan. Mobile gerobak ini sangat diperlukan ketika lokasi berjualan selalu berpindah-pindah. Mobile gerobak dibuat dengan ukuran Panjang 200 cm, lebar 80 cm dan tinggi 180 cm terbuat dari konstruksi besi hollow galvanis. Material diding terbuat dari GRC serta dilengkapi dengan beberapa fasilitas untuk keperluan berjualan seperti tempat gas, tempat etalase makanan dan tempat peralatan lainnya. Sedangkan untuk mempermudah mobilisasi gerobak ini dilengkapi dengan 2 roda dibagian belakang dan 1 roda dibagian depan agar mudah untuk dipindahkan.

Abstract

The novel Lelaki Harimau by Eka Kurniawan describes the life of Javanese people during the Japanese colonial period. In the novel, there are various kinds of social problems, one of which is crime. This research aims to describe the forms of crime in the novel. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques in the form of library research. The theory used is criminal psychology with a literary psychology approach to bridge the study of psychology and literature. The results of the research show that there are three forms of crime in the novel: domestic violence, sexual harassment and rape committed by the major characters. The domestic violence as well as raping is done by a husband towards his wife; something weird but that is the truth. Sexual harassment is experienced by other female characters owing to hegemony of power and money. The research shows that crime is one of the social problems that occurs in society. These crimes can be caused by various factors, such as poverty, social inequality and family conflict.

Abstract

Fake marriages, though often portrayed as harmless arrangements in fictional narratives, can lead to complex and far-reaching consequences in the lives of the characters involved. This study aims to explore the negative impacts of a fake marriage on the protagonist’s life in Tess Wakefield’s novel Purple Hearts. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach, the study uses M.H. Abrams’ theory of literary analysis as its primary analytical framework. Additional relevant theories are incorporated to support the interpretation of the data. The analysis reveals that the fake marriage in the novel results in several negative consequences, including legal, financial, and emotional repercussions. The protagonist engages in the marriage to resolve personal financial difficulties. Despite these challenges, the characters—Cassie and Luke—eventually develop genuine affection, suggesting a transformative journey shaped by their experiences. The study highlights how a fake marriage, initially entered into for practical reasons, can evolve into a meaningful relationship, albeit through significant personal and relational struggles. These findings underscore the complex emotional and ethical dimensions of such arrangements in contemporary fiction.

Abstract

Defamation is an act that harms an individual’s reputation through the spread of false statements. It is commonly categorized into two forms: libel, which involves written defamation, and slander, which refers to spoken or direct defamation. This research focuses on slander as a form of defamation that deeply impacts Mariah, the protagonist in Hamka’s novel Terusir. The study examines the consequences of defamation on Mariah, who, as a victim, endures severe hardships and social alienation. Adopting a sociological approach to literature, this research situates defamation within the context of real-world social dynamics, emphasizing its destructive potential within both fictional and actual communities. Using a descriptive qualitative method, data were gathered from the novel’s narrative, as well as from monologues and dialogues. Terusir by Hamka serves as the primary data source, supplemented by secondary references that enhance the contextual analysis. Findings reveal that Mariah suffers extensively from defamation: she is publicly shamed and expelled from her home by her husband during a stormy night, symbolizing her isolation and loss of dignity. This defamatory act not only tarnishes Mariah’s identity as a respected mother and wife but also severs her relationship with her son, leading her into a state of near madness fueled by profound emotional turmoil and an overwhelming sense of loss.

Abstract

This article examines how the first character by the name of Noah Calhoun in Nicholas Sparks' novel, The Notebook, passionately pursues love-driven ambition. Ambition here means having strong determination to achieve personal goals. It is a central theme in the protagonist's journey. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, this study carefully looks at Noah's various efforts to find love, using ideas from Bridge and Krutus. He sees ambition as a powerful force that drives people to achieve great things. Through this method, the research explores how the protagonist's ambitions in love unfold, showing a deep dive into human hopes and emotions. The study reveals Noah 's ambitious actions in his pursuit of Allie. It shows how he writes letters to her, builds their dream home, and works to bring back her memories. Noah's unwavering dedication and determination showcase his strong love, leading to a heartwarming conclusion where love conquers all obstacles. Overall, this research sheds light on the role of ambition in romantic relationships, highlighting Noah's steadfast pursuit of love amidst life's challenges. His resilience reminds us of how ambition can shape our relationships and stories.

Abstract

Stres merupakan respons psikologis dan fisiologis yang timbul ketika individu menghadapi tuntutan atau tekanan yang melebihi kemampuan adaptasi dirinya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji secara mendalam hubungan antara stres, kesehatan mental, dan kesehatan fisik dengan pendekatan psikologi klinis. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi literatur sistematis terhadap 45 artikel ilmiah yang diterbitkan dalam kurun waktu 2015–2024. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa stres kronis dapat memengaruhi fungsi sistem saraf otonom, sistem endokrin, dan sistem imun, yang berimplikasi pada peningkatan risiko gangguan mental seperti depresi, kecemasan, serta gangguan fisik seperti hipertensi, penyakit jantung, dan gangguan metabolisme. Faktor protektif seperti coping adaptif, dukungan sosial, dan regulasi emosi terbukti mampu menurunkan dampak negatif stres. Implikasi temuan ini menekankan pentingnya intervensi psikologis preventif dan promotif untuk meningkatkan resiliensi individu terhadap stres.

Abstract

Latar Belakang Masalah: Tanaman pala (Myristica fragrans Houtt) merupakan tanaman daerah tropis. Salah satu manfaat tanaman pala adalah daging buah pala yang memiliki persentase sebesar 77,8%. Daging buah pala dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai pengolahan minyak. Minyak pala memiliki kandungan kadar air, protein dan lemak. Untuk menentukan kadar lemak tersebut dapat menggunakan metode Gas Kromatografi dan Massa Spektroskopi (GC-MS). Tujuan Penelitian: Untuk mengetahui penetapan kadar lemak dalam daging buah pala dengan metode gas kromatografi dan spektroskopi massa. Metode Penelitian: Jenis penelitian ini yaitu penelitian kuantitatif dengan melakukan kegiatan atau perlakuan tertentu pada suatu sediaan di laboratorium. Penelitian ini dilakukan di laboratorium Farmasetika Universitas Ubudiyah Indonesia, laboratorium Mikrobiologi jurusan Biologi Fakultas MIPA Universitas Syiah Kuala dan laboratorium Teknik Pengujian Kualitas Lingkungan Fakultas Teknik Universitas Syiah Kuala. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada tanggal 21 Februari tahun 2022. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh buah pala yang terdapat di hutan Kabupaten Aceh Selatan. Adapun sampel dalam penelitian ini diambil secara purposive sampling yaitu sebagian daging buah pala yang terdapat di Desa Simpang Tiga Kecamatan Sawang Kabupaten Aceh Selatan. Prosedur kerja awalnya dilakukan pengumpulan, herbarium, preparasi dan penentuan kadar lemak dalam daging buah pala. Hasil Penelitian: Hasil penelitian ini didapatkan 2 ml ekstrak kental daging buah pala. Kemudian hasil penelitian menggunakan metode GC-MS ditemukan kadar lemak myristin dalam minyak simplisia daging buah pala sebesar 1,05% dengan kenaikan suhu oven sebesar 2°C. Kesimpulan dan Saran: Adanya kadar lemak myristin dalam daging buah pala. Dengan demikian maka diharapkan minyak daging buah pala menjadi suatu produk usaha bagi masyarakat.Kata Kunci : Kadar Lemak, Daging Buah Pala & Metode GC-MSBackground: Nutmeg (Myristica fragrans Houtt) is a tropical plant. One of the benefits of the nutmeg plant is the flesh of the nutmeg which has a percent of 77,8%. Nutmeg flesh can be used as oil processing. Nutmeg oil contains water, protein and fat content. To determine the fat content can use the method of Gas Chromatography and Mass Spectroscopy (GC-MS). Research Purposes: The purpose of this study was to determine of fat content in nutmeg flesh using gas chromatography and mass spectroscopy methods. Research Methodolog: This type of research is quantitative research by carrying out certain activities or treatments on a preparation in the laboratory. This research was conducted at the Pharmacy Laboratory, Ubudiyah University Indonesia, the Microbiology Laboratory Department of Biology Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences Syiah Kuala University and the Environmental Quality Testing Engineering Laboratory Faculty of Engineering Syiah Kuala University. The research was conducted on 21 February 2022. The population in this study were all nutmeg found in the forests of South Aceh Selatan. The sample in this study was taken by purposive sampling, namely some of the nutmeg flesh found in Village Simpang Tiga, Sawang District, South Aceh Selatan. The initial working procedure was collection, herbarium, preparation and determination of fat content in nutmeg flesh. The Research Results: The results of this study obtained 2 ml of thick extract of nutmeg flesh. Then the results of the study using the GC-MS method found that the myristin fat content in nutmeg flesh was 1,05% with in temperature an oven variation of 2°C. Conclusion and Recommendations: The fat content of myristin in the flesh of a nutmeg. Thus, it is hoped that nutmeg flesh oil will become a business product for the community.Keywords : Fat Content, Nutmeg Flesh & GC-MS Method

Abstract

Makanan cepat saji merupakan salah satu istilah yang diberikan untuk makanan yang disajikan dengan sangat cepat seperti junk food. Junk Food adalah makanan yang  mengandung tinggi kalori yang meliputi garam, gula, dan lemak dalam konsentrasi tinggi di dalamnya namun sangat rendah akan nilai gizinya. Beberapa kategori makanan yang termasuk ke dalam junk food yaitu makanan cepat saji yang di goreng, makanan ringan asin, makanan penutup manis, permen karet dan lainnya. Makanan seperti hamburger, pizza dan lainnya di anggap sehat atau junk food tergantung terhadap cara penyajiannya. Adapun tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi remaja dalam mengkonsumsi junk food. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan kuantitatif yang bersifat survey deskriptif dengan pendekatan cros secsional. Populasi penelitian ini siswa kelas X di  Pesantren Darul Ulum Banda Aceh, Pengambilan sampel secara stratifikasi random berjumlah 80 responden. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 20-26 April 2025. Analisa data menggunakan uji Chi-square. Hasil: Ada hubungan yang signifikan antara pengetahuan, sikap dan ajakan teman sebaya terhadap kebiasaan mengkonsumsi junk food di Pesantren Darul Ulum Banda Aceh. Saran: Diharapkan adanya peran aktif pihak sekolah melakukan penyuluhan kesehatan terutama tentang manfaat makanan sehat bagi tubuh terhadap siswa/siswi.Kata Kunci : Remaja, junk food, pengetahuan, sikap, teman sebaya

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan mengisolasi senyawa bioaktif dari daun kelor (Moringa oleifera) serta mengevaluasi potensi antioksidannya untuk fortifikasi pangan fungsional. Daun kelor diekstraksi dengan metode maserasi menggunakan etanol 70% dan dilanjutkan dengan fraksinasi pelarut n-heksana, etil asetat, dan metanol. Identifikasi senyawa bioaktif dilakukan dengan KLT, KCKT, spektrofotometri UV-Vis, dan FTIR, sedangkan uji aktivitas antioksidan dilakukan menggunakan metode DPPH. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa fraksi etil asetat memiliki aktivitas antioksidan paling tinggi dengan IC50 sebesar 48,72 µg/mL, yang dikategorikan sebagai antioksidan sangat kuat. Analisis fitokimia memperlihatkan bahwa senyawa utama yang berperan adalah flavonoid, fenolik, dan tanin. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa daun kelor merupakan sumber antioksidan alami yang potensial dan dapat diaplikasikan sebagai bahan fortifikasi pangan fungsional untuk meningkatkan kualitas gizi serta memberikan manfaat protektif terhadap stres oksidatif.
