Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk optimasi pengembangan karir pada anak tunarungu di SLB/B Pangudi Luhur, Jakarta Barat. Pendidikan bagi penyandang disabilitas masih dianggap belum maksimal, sehingga perlu dilakukan pembimbingan dan asesmen terhadap minat dan kepribadian anak tunarungu untuk membantu mereka mengenali bakat, ketrampilan, dan kemampuan serta memperoleh informasi yang cukup. Dalam penelitian ini, digunakan Teori Karir John Holland sebagai dasar untuk asesmen minat karir. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa responden memiliki minat yang bervariasi pada berbagai tipe kepribadian karir menurut teori Holland. Empat perlu diasesment ulang karena masing-masing memperoleh nilai skor yang sama pada ke enam tipe kepribadian karir, hal ini tidak sesuai dengan teori yang dikemukakan Jhon Holland yang menyampaikan nilai skor hendaknya bervareasi. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan panduan bagi guru dan pembimbing dalam mendampingi anak tunarungu dalam memantapkan karir mereka. Melalui pendekatan supervisi dan pemahaman individu, serta penerapan metode pembelajaran berbasis masalah, diharapkan anak tunarungu dapat memperoleh keterampilan yang diperlukan untuk sukses dalam dunia pekerjaan dan dapat meningkatkan kesempatan mereka untuk mendapatkan pekerjaan setelah lulus sekolah.

Abstract

A career is a process that a person experiences in his life. In the end, a person must have the skills to choose a career as a determinant of life in the future. Deaf people are people who lose the ability to hear, so they inhibit the processing of information through their hearing, whether or not they are wearing hearing aids. In general, deaf children have normal and average intelligence. Effective guidance needs to be based on accurate data. Therefore, before doing therapy, it is necessary to do an assessment first, which is to assess or recognize counselling in depth in various aspects. John Holland's theory helps identify students' career personalities according to types, traits and psychological characteristics (personality). It draws on the principles of Holland's theory, which groups individuals into six personality types and corresponding work environments. This study aims to provide practical guidance for parents, educators, and career counsellors. The aim is to improve the career readiness of deaf children and create a more inclusive and supportive environment for their professional growth.

Abstract

AbstrakAgresivitas remaja dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal dan eksternal. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis hubungan kausal antara peer attachment, self-control, self-esteem, dan agresivitas dengan menggunakan analisis jalur pada desain cross-sectional. Data diperoleh dari 185 siswa SMK di Kota Bogor dengan instrumen terstandar. Hasil menunjukkan peer attachment berpengaruh langsung menurunkan agresivitas (? = -0.123), self-control memiliki pengaruh negatif paling kuat (? = -0.595, p < 0.001), sedangkan self-esteem berpengaruh tidak langsung melalui peningkatan self-control (? = -0.192). Temuan ini menegaskan peran kunci self-control serta pentingnya intervensi psikososial untuk memperkuat hubungan teman sebaya, regulasi emosi, dan self-esteem positif.Kata kunci: peer attachment, self-control, self-esteem, agresivitas, remaja

Abstract

This study aimed to evaluate the effect of probiotic Bacillus spp. through drinking water on carcass production and the number of Escherichia coli colonies in the small intestine of broiler chickens. The research was conducted at the Applied Laboratory of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Mataram University, using 175 broiler chickens of the CP 707 strain randomly divided into five treatments and five replicates. The treatments consisted of one control (T1) without probiotics, and four treatments (T2-T5) with Bacillus spp. doses of 3 cc/liter of drinking water at different times. The design used was a completely randomized design (CRD), and data were analyzed using Duncan's test when there was a significant effect. The results showed that probiotic Bacillus spp. had a significant effect (P<0.05) on feed consumption and final body weight, but had no significant effect on carcass percentage or the number of Escherichia coli colonies in the small intestine. These findings indicate that probiotics can improve growth performance, but are not effective in significantly reducing the number of pathogenic bacteria.

Abstract

Open Defecation (OD) practices remain a public health issue in Indonesia, including in Sekadau Regency, which recorded in September 2024 that 70 households still practiced open defecation and 801 households lacked proper sanitation. This study analyzes the implementation of the Community-Based Total Sanitation (STBM) Program, First Pillar (Stop OD), in Sekadau using Purwanto and Sulistyastuti’s policy implementation theory, which covers socialization, execution, and policy outcomes. This descriptive qualitative study involved 6 categories of informants (n=18) through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, analyzed with an interactive model and triangulation. The main challenge was the limited number of sanitarians (1 for every 4,515 households). Multi-media communication strategies (print, digital, and face-to-face) effectively reached communities, supported by cross-sector collaboration among government, community leaders, and partners such as World Vision Indonesia. Program success was influenced by five factors: capacity building of sanitarians, contextual communication, innovation in addressing resistance, sustainable collaboration, and adaptive monitoring. The findings highlight the need for an integrated approach in implementing community-based sanitation policies to achieve sustainable Open Defecation Free (ODF) status.

Abstract

Masyarakat Desa Stambul Jaya di Kabupaten Aceh Tenggara telah lama memanfaatkan tanaman purun tikus (Eleocharis dulcis), sejenis rumput rawa yang tumbuh subur di lahan basah, untuk membuat berbagai kerajinan seperti tikar, topi, dan bakul. Kini, tanaman ini mulai dilirik sebagai bahan baku potensial dalam pembuatan material komposit yang ramah lingkungan. Sebuah penelitian dilakukan untuk membuat papan komposit berukuran 20 × 20 × 0,5 cm dari serat purun yang dicampur dengan resin poliester. Peneliti menguji beberapa variasi kadar serat (5%, 10%, dan 15%) serta arah susunan serat, yaitu sejajar, acak, dan anyaman, untuk melihat pengaruhnya terhadap ketahanan panas bahan komposit. Hasil uji Thermogravimetric Analysis (TGA) menunjukkan bahwa komposit dengan susunan sejajar 15%, acak 10%, dan anyaman 15% memiliki ketahanan panas tertinggi. Di antara semua variasi, susunan anyaman 10% menunjukkan hasil terbaik karena tetap stabil pada suhu tinggi. Uji Differential Scanning Calorimeter (DSC) memperkuat hasil tersebut, dengan suhu puncak tertinggi mencapai sekitar 500°C pada susunan anyaman 10%. Temuan ini membuktikan bahwa serat purun tikus dapat meningkatkan stabilitas termal dan kekuatan bahan komposit sekaligus mendukung prinsip keberlanjutan lingkungan. Dari bahan sederhana pembuat kerajinan, purun kini berpotensi menjadi sumber inovasi baru dalam industri hijau yang memberdayakan masyarakat lokal sekaligus menjaga kelestarian alam.

Abstract

Students with special needs often face unique challenges in identifying and pursuing career paths that align with their abilities and interests. Previous studies have shown that tailored career guidance and vocational training can significantly enhance their career prospects and independence. This study explores the career interests of students with special needs at SMALB Pangudi Luhur, Jakarta, using the Strong Interest Inventory (SII) to identify interests across various fields such as STEM, Marketing, Sales and Services, Hospitality and Tourism, and Education and Training. The research, involving 30 students aged 17-21, reveals that many career options align with their visual abilities, while abstract and high-intelligence roles are less feasible. The findings highlight the need for tailored career guidance programs that include hands-on training and practical experiences to help these students understand and pursue suitable career paths. This study underscores the importance of vocational training and self-awareness in fostering career independence for students with special needs. It provides a basis for developing inclusive and culturally relevant career counseling programs.

impacts if not properly managed. Adolescent anger is triggered by various factors such as frustration, provocation, and misunderstandings, and if uncontrolled, it can lead to aggressive behavior. Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is an effective therapeutic approach to help adolescents manage their anger. CBT focuses on the interaction between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, aiming to identify and change negative thought patterns that lead to anger. Through CBT, adolescents are taught emotional regulation and social problem-solving skills, enabling them to respond to challenging situations more assertively. Research shows that applying CBT to adolescents effectively reduces aggressive behaviors and enhances anger control. Thus, CBT is proven to be an effective method in helping adolescents overcome anger issues and develop more positive behavior.

Abstract

This study is about what particular people belong to the particular ethnic have in mind as their ideology to see the environment, reflected from traditional fishing ritual in Acehnese speech community under the eco-linguistic perspective. In addition, with reference to social praxis, ecolinguistics recognizes three dimensions, namely ideological, sociological, and biological dimensions relating to the exploitation of the environment for fishing through ritual speech. The purpose of this study is to determine the ideology reflected in the speech. The study employed a qualitative research methodology, utilizing a phenomenological approach. The study makes use of verbal expressions expressed by naval commanders, gathered through a combination of participatory observation and comprehensive interviews at a central location of fish market and sanctuary in Banda Aceh, Aceh Indonesia. The data collected serve as the basis for the analysis and interpretation of the research findings. The respected ideology was then compared to the concept of ecosophy. The results of the analysis show that the ritual holistically contains the ideology of environmental preservation. The efforts to assist the natural, social, and spiritual preservations, specifically in marine environments, are obviously detected in the discourse. The ideology offered is in accordance with the concept of ecosophy, which includes beneficial discourse. However, part of the utterances also reflect the ambivalent discourse, but not the destructive one.

Abstract

Ilmu administrasi sebagai disiplin ilmu telah berkembang pesat sejak awal kemunculannya dan kini memainkan peran krusial dalam organisasi publik maupun swasta. Artikel ini membahas perkembangan ilmu administrasi, konsep-konsep utama, serta tantangan yang dihadapi di era globalisasi. Dalam konteks yang lebih luas, penelitian ini menyoroti bagaimana faktor kepemimpinan, kebijakan publik, dan inovasi teknologi membentuk dinamika administrasi modern.
