Abstract

Job satisfaction is an individual's emotional attitude in the form of feelings of pleasure, satisfaction with a job related to the work situation. Job satisfaction is shown in carrying out tasks that are not in accordance with the responsibilities based on job satisfaction standards in communicating between teachers and teachers, being indifferent to each other, and there are teachers who do not understand each other and only care about themselves without seeing the activities carried out by other teachers and so on in terms of completing tasks done alone without considering assistance from other teachers in the work environment and the lack of emotional intelligence of teachers in terms of self-control when given new tasks and enthusiasm in carrying out their duties so that job satisfaction is not optimal in working. The research method used is a quantitative approach. Sampling was carried out using the population of educators (teachers) of SMP Negeri 1 Pajo NTB. as many as 27 educators (teachers), the data collection technique is using a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is the multiple linear regression coefficient.

Abstract

Household waste accumulation has become a significant environmental issue in urban areas. This study evaluates the thermal performance and mass-reduction efficiency of a household-scale waste incinerator prototype operating without external fossil fuel under natural-draft airflow. The combustion chamber was fabricated from a cylindrical steel drum equipped with primary air inlets. Mixed household waste (initial mass 5 kg; moisture content 28%) was tested. Temperature was measured using a K-type thermocouple positioned at the chamber centre. The maximum recorded temperature reached 100°C within 40 minutes. Mass reduction reached 25%, calculated based on initial and final mass measurements. The estimated thermal efficiency was 7.1%, determined using a simplified energy balance approach. The results indicate that the prototype operates under low-temperature thermal degradation conditions rather than complete incineration. Design improvements are required to achieve standard incineration temperatures.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan motivasi kerja pegawai pria dengan wanita terhadap Dinas Perhubungan Kota Makassar. Jenis data diambil dari informasi baik secara lisan maupun tulisan yang berbentuk angka-angka dari instansi terkait dan sumber data diambil dari persepsi jawaban responden terhadap kuesioner serta dari dukumentasi dan laporan-lapotan pada Dinas Perhubungan Kota Makassar. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah metode analisis deskriptif, yaitu metode yang menjelaskan tentang tanggapan responden pada Kantor Dinas Perhubungan Kota Makassar mengenai perbedaan motivasi kerja pegawai pria dengan wanita. Hasil penelitian setelah data diolah maka didapatkan jumlah persentase kriteria jawaban responden pria dengan nilai chi-square sebesar 53,34, sedangkan responden wanita tingkat df = 9 dan α = 0,1 diperoleh chi-square tabel sebesar 14,68 hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perbedaan motivasi kerja pegawai pria lebih tinggi dari pada motivasi kerja pegawai wanita pada kantor Dinas Perhubungan Kota Makassar.

Abstract

The objectif of this research to examine the effect of emotional intelegence toward job satisfaction at Koperasi Karyawan PT. Telkom Siporennu Makassar. The research uses 35 respondent of 35 members of population. The data were analyzed by linier regretion. The results stated independent variables there were positive and significantly influence toward job satisfaction.

Abstract

Carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) composites are widely used in structural applications due to their high strength-to-weight ratio; however, their epoxy matrix exhibits relatively poor flame resistance. This study investigates the effect of aluminum trihydroxide (ATH) addition on the tensile strength and burning rate (BR) of twill carbon fiber/epoxy composites. The composites were fabricated using a vacuum bagging method to ensure improved resin impregnation and uniform filler distribution. ATH content was varied at 0%, 5%, 10%, and 15% by weight of resin. Tensile testing was conducted according to ASTM D3039, while BR testing was performed based on ASTM D635. A total of 28 specimens were subjected to tensile testing using a universal testing machine, while 12 specimens were used for BR testing based on ASTM standards. The results show that tensile strength decreases from 482.09 MPa (0% ATH) to 376.30 MPa (15% ATH). This corresponds to a reduction of approximately 21.9%. In contrast, the BR decreases from 2.86 mm/s to 1.65 mm/s, indicating an improvement in flame resistance of approximately 42.3%. The addition of ATH improves fire resistance through endothermic decomposition and water vapor release, which reduces heat and slows flame propagation. However, it negatively affects mechanical performance due to particle agglomeration and weakened interfacial bonding. Considering the balance between tensile strength and flame resistance, the 10% ATH composition may provide the most balanced composite performance in this study. This study highlights a trade-off between mechanical properties and fire resistance in composite materials.

Abstract

Growth problems among children under five are influenced by the quality of complementary feeding, exposure to environmentally related diseases, and the accuracy of growth monitoring. This community service activity aimed to strengthen the capacity of health cadres and mothers of children under five through education on complementary feeding, Community-Based Total Sanitation (CBTS), and anthropometric measurement training. The activity was conducted in Ganti Urban Village, Donggala Regency, on 13–14 July 2026, involving 20 participants consisting of 10 health cadres and 10 mothers of children under five. The methods included interactive lectures, case discussions, menu demonstrations, mapping of contamination pathways, sanitation commitment triggering, measurement simulations, guided practice, as well as pre-tests and post-tests. The complementary feeding knowledge score among health cadres increased from 62.5 to 92.0, while among mothers of children under five it increased from 45.0 to 85.5. Sanitation knowledge scores increased from 70.0 to 95.0 among health cadres and from 52.5 to 87.5 among mothers of children under five. The anthropometric measurement skills of health cadres increased from 65.0 to 96.5. The greatest improvement was observed in complementary feeding knowledge among mothers of children under five, with an increase of 40.5 points. The integration of contextual education, sanitation reflection, and hands-on practice effectively strengthened participants’ knowledge and skills in the short term. Regular follow-up through integrated health service posts, supervision of anthropometric measurements, and monitoring of sanitation practices are needed to ensure that these learning outcomes are translated into sustainable improvements in household practices.
