Abstract

Penundaan Kewajiban Pembayaran Utang (PKPU) merupakan proses hukum yang melibatkan pengajuan permohonan oleh pihak yang mempunyai utang yang belum dibayar kepada Pengadilan PHI. Dalam beberapa kasus, pekerja yang memenangkan persidangan terkait pesangonnya mengajukan permohonan kepada PKPU untuk menunda pembayaran pesangon yang telah diputus oleh Pengadilan PHI. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis fenomena tersebut dan memahami alasan penerapan PKPU oleh pekerja dalam rangka pesangon yang telah diputuskan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi kasus terhadap beberapa kasus PKPU yang melibatkan pekerja dengan pesangon yang telah diputus oleh Pengadilan PHI. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara dengan pihak-pihak terkait, analisis dokumen hukum, dan telaah literatur terkait. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa permohonan PKPU oleh pekerja dalam perkara pesangon yang telah diputus oleh Pengadilan PHI dapat dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor. Faktor-faktor tersebut antara lain keuangan perusahaan, perubahan kondisi ekonomi, dan strategi hukum yang digunakan pekerja. Selain itu, persepsi pekerja terhadap risiko pesangon juga berperan penting dalam keputusan mereka untuk mengajukan PKPU.

Abstract

Pangumbahan Village, located in Ciracap Subdistrict, Sukabumi Regency, is a coastal area renowned for turtle conservation. However, the village still encounters challenges in children’s access to education and literacy. Limited informal learning facilities and the absence of expressive spaces hinder children from experiencing enjoyable learning outside formal schooling. In response, the Student Community Service Program (KKM) of STKIP BMS II initiated the establishment of an Educational Park as an open learning space integrating literacy, ecology, and local culture. This program was designed to improve children’s basic literacy skills through contextual and interactive approaches grounded in the local environment. The methods implemented included the provision of open reading corners, environmental education boards, storytelling sessions, and educational games that encouraged active participation of both children and parents. The results indicated a noticeable improvement in children’s reading interest, the emergence of community initiatives to sustain the facilities, and increased awareness of the importance of early literacy. The program demonstrates the synergy between students, communities, and the environment in building a village literacy ecosystem. With its simple and locally based concept, the Educational Park holds potential to be replicated in other villages with similar characteristics. ABSTRAKDesa Pangumbahan, Kecamatan Ciracap, Kabupaten Sukabumi merupakan daerah pesisir yang dikenal sebagai kawasan konservasi penyu, namun masih menghadapi tantangan dalam hal akses pendidikan dan literasi anak. Minimnya fasilitas belajar informal dan kurangnya ruang ekspresi membuat anak-anak desa kesulitan mendapatkan pengalaman belajar yang menyenangkan di luar sekolah. Program Kuliah Kerja Mahasiswa (KKM) Kelompok 4 STKIP BMS II merespons isu tersebut dengan merancang dan membangun Taman Edukasi sebagai ruang belajar terbuka yang menggabungkan Literasi Ekologi, Teknologi Informasi, Seni dan Budaya. Program ini bertujuan meningkatkan kemampuan literasi dasar anak melalui pendekatan kontekstual dan interaktif berbasis lingkungan sekitar. Metode kegiatan meliputi penyediaan sudut baca terbuka, papan edukasi lingkungan, sesi dongeng, serta permainan edukatif yang mendorong keterlibatan aktif anak dan orang tua. Hasil pelaksanaan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan minat baca anak, munculnya inisiatif masyarakat untuk turut menjaga fasilitas, serta tumbuhnya kesadaran pentingnya literasi sejak dini. Kegiatan ini menjadi praktik nyata sinergi antara mahasiswa, masyarakat, dan lingkungan dalam membangun ekosistem literasi desa. Dengan konsep sederhana dan berbasis potensi lokal, taman edukasi ini diharapkan dapat direplikasi di wilayah desa lain dengan karakter serupa.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the compliance level of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) usage by cleaning staff at the Islamic Hospital of Karawang Regency and to identify the factors influencing it. The data shows that the compliance level of PPE usage at this hospital has reached 90%, in accordance with the national standards set by the Indonesian Ministry of Health. Despite this high compliance rate, challenges remain in maintaining and further improving adherence. Several strategies, such as continuous training, strict supervision, effective inventory management, and incentive provision, have proven effective in enhancing compliance. The study also found that increasing PPE compliance contributes to a 40% reduction in nosocomial infections, positively impacting patient safety, economic efficiency, and the quality of healthcare services. Therefore, a combination of structured interventions and strong managerial support is essential to maintaining high compliance levels and ensuring a safer hospital environment

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the impact of working hours on the physical and mental health of employees at Klinik Fatimah, located in Cilamaya Kulon District, Karawang Regency. Using a quantitative approach and a cross-sectional research design, data were collected from employees through standardized questionnaires covering aspects of physical fatigue, mental stress, burnout, and cardiovascular disorders. The study results indicate that the majority of employees experience negative impacts from long working hours, which not only deteriorate their health but also affect the quality of healthcare services provided to patients. Compared to other clinics in Karawang, such as Klinik Sehat Mandiri and Klinik Harapan Bunda, Klinik Fatimah shows higher levels of physical fatigue and mental stress. This study emphasizes the importance of implementing more balanced working hours, mental health support, and employee wellness programs to improve employee well-being and service quality. This research makes a significant contribution to public health literature, particularly in the Indonesian context, and offers practical recommendations for clinic management

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate employees' understanding of occupational diseases in various industrial sectors in Karawang Regency, one of the largest industrial areas in Indonesia. Occupational diseases are a significant health issue in industrial environments, especially in high-risk sectors such as manufacturing, automotive, textile, and chemical industries. A lack of understanding among employees about the risks and prevention of occupational diseases can increase the incidence rate, reduce productivity, and raise healthcare costs for both companies and workers. This research employs a cross-sectional survey design with a quantitative approach. Data were collected from 400 employee respondents across various industrial sectors using a stratified random sampling technique to ensure sample representativeness. A structured questionnaire was used to measure employees' understanding of the types of occupational diseases, risk factors, and occupational health and safety practices (OHS). Data analysis was conducted using descriptive statistics to illustrate the distribution of employee understanding and inferential statistics such as Chi-Square tests and logistic regression to identify factors influencing employees' comprehension. The results show that only 25% of employees have a high understanding of occupational diseases, while 45% have a moderate understanding, and 30% have a low understanding. Analysis by industrial sector shows that the manufacturing sector has the highest level of understanding (35%), followed by automotive (30%), textile (20%), and chemical (15%). These findings indicate a significant gap in employee understanding across various industrial sectors, which requires more specific and intensive OHS training and education approaches. This study concludes that to improve employees' understanding of occupational diseases, companies need to adopt more targeted, interactive, and evidence-based training strategies. Additionally, collaboration between companies and local government in designing effective OHS policies is essential to ensure optimal occupational health and safety. The implications of this study provide significant contributions to national occupational health policy and can serve as a reference for further research in similar contexts

Abstract

The implementation of ergonomics in the workplace is a key strategy to improve the health and productivity of workers, especially in the healthcare sector. This study aims to explore the impact of ergonomic working positions on the productivity of administrative staff at the Islamic Hospital of Karawang. A quantitative approach with a descriptive-analytic design was used, involving 100 administrative staff as respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires and direct observations of working conditions before and after ergonomic interventions. The data were analysed using paired t-tests to evaluate significant changes in work productivity and health complaints. The results show that good ergonomic practices can reduce complaints of back pain by 50%, neck pain by 30%, and circulatory problems by 10%. Additionally, there was an increase in job satisfaction by 25% and operational efficiency by 20% following the ergonomic interventions. A 20% reduction in absenteeism was also identified as a positive impact of the ergonomic interventions. These findings suggest that ergonomic working positions positively impact not only physical health but also enhance productivity and work efficiency. Therefore, ergonomics should be prioritized in human resource management in hospitals and other healthcare facilities. This study provides significant contributions to the development of evidence-based occupational health policies and can serve as a guideline for other hospitals to adopt better ergonomic practices. Thus, this study is expected to promote healthier, more productive, and more sustainable work environments in the healthcare sector

Abstract

Occupational health risks among nutrition staff in hospitals are often overlooked in occupational health and safety (OHS) policies that tend to focus more on medical personnel. This study aims to identify and evaluate the occupational health risks faced by nutrition staff at the Islamic Hospital of Karawang Regency and provide recommendations for more effective risk mitigation. The research approach used is a quantitative descriptive method with a cross-sectional design. Data collection was carried out through a survey using structured questionnaires distributed to all nutrition staff working at the hospital. The study results indicate that the most significant occupational health risk is work-related stress (30%), followed by chemical exposure (25%), poor ergonomics (20%), biological exposure (15%), and physical hazards (10%). The high risk of work-related stress is caused by excessive workloads, lack of management support, and strict service demands. Chemical exposure, such as from detergents and disinfectants, can cause skin irritation, respiratory problems, and other health issues. Poor ergonomics related to inappropriate working positions and unsuitable equipment use leads to musculoskeletal disorders, such as back pain. Biological exposure can result from inadequate hygiene standards and unsafe food handling, while physical hazards include injuries from unsafe kitchen equipment. This study recommends comprehensive interventions to reduce occupational health risks, including regular training on stress management and safe chemical use, improving the work environment to be more ergonomic, and strengthening hygiene standards. Implementing a more inclusive and data-driven OHS policy can improve the well-being of nutrition staff, which, in turn, will enhance the quality of healthcare services in the hospital. This aligns with findings that "comprehensive and evidence-based occupational safety policies can improve service quality and worker satisfaction" (Robinson & Griffiths, 2017).

Abstract

This study aims to explore the influence of work culture on the frequency of work accidents in construction projects carried out by construction workers at SMK Sehati, Karawang Regency. A good work culture is seen as a key factor in creating a safe working environment and minimizing accident risks. A quantitative survey method was used to collect data from construction workers, focusing on their perceptions of work culture and compliance with safety procedures, such as the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The results show that the majority of workers rate the work culture at SMK Sehati as "Good" or "Very Good," contributing to the low frequency of work accidents. Additionally, the high level of PPE usage among workers indicates good awareness of safety importance. Regression analysis revealed a negative correlation between the quality of work culture and the frequency of accidents, confirming that improvements in work culture can significantly reduce accident incidents. Based on these findings, it is recommended that SMK Sehati continues to strengthen its work culture through regular training, periodic safety audits, and strict supervision of PPE usage. The implementation of these recommendations is expected to further enhance work safety in future construction project

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the knowledge, attitudes, and compliance of Posyandu health workers regarding the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) in Pancawati Village, Klari District, Karawang Regency. The use of PPE by Posyandu health workers is crucial in preventing the transmission of infectious diseases, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. The research method employed is a quantitative approach with a descriptive cross-sectional design, where all Posyandu health workers in the village (total sampling) were respondents. The results show that 45% of the health workers have good knowledge of PPE, 35% have sufficient knowledge, and 20% have poor knowledge. A positive attitude towards the use of PPE is exhibited by 50% of the workers, 30% are neutral, and 20% have a negative attitude. The compliance level in using PPE indicates that 60% are compliant, 25% are less compliant, and 15% are non-compliant. This study suggests a need for improved knowledge and attitude change among Posyandu health workers, as well as the provision of adequate and comfortable PPE to enhance compliance. The recommendations include ongoing training, attitude change campaigns, and regular monitoring to ensure better implementation of PPE use

Abstract

Persoalan pendidikan di Indonesia terus berkembang dengan pemberlakuan kurikulum dan berbagai masalah yang dihadapinya. Guru dituntut dapat kreatif dalam memilih model pembelajaran yang berpusat pada siswa (student-centered) dan menekankan pada pemahaman konsep, bukan sekadar menghafal. Berdasarkan hasil observasi, rendahnya hasil belajar fisika di sekolah merupakan hal yang sudah biasa dijumpai dan ini merupakan masalah dalam proses belajar. Dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran, seorang guru dituntut untuk terus mengembangkan metode dan keterampilan mengajar agar siswa lebih tertarik dan aktif dalam proses belajar, yang pada akhirnya akan mencapai tujuan pembelajaran yang optima. Pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan oleh guru umumnya tidak variatif tanpa melihat kondisi siswa dan karakteristik materi yang diajarkan sehingga berdampak pada rendahnya hasil belajar yang diperoleh siswa. Hal ini dijumpai pada SMAN 1 Madapangga tepatnya di kelas XI F, terutama pada bidang studi fisika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar fisika siswa melalui penerapan model pembelajaran problem based learning (PBL) pada kelas XI F3 SMAN 1 Madapangga Tahun Pelajaran 2024/2025.Adapun pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dan pendekatan kuantitatif yang disebut dengan metode campuran (mix methods). Pendekatan kuantitatif digunakan untuk menganalisis data numerik yang diperoleh dari hasil belajar, sementara pendekatan kualitatif digunakan untuk menganalisis data deskriptif yang diperoleh dari wawancara dan observasi pelaksanaan pembelajaran dengan jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Penelitian Tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan tes hasil belajar kognitif. Dari hasil perhitungan diperoleh terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar sebesar 26 % dan peningkatan aktivitas belajar siswa sebesar 56 %. Begitupun juga menurut perhitungan rumus Gain telah terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar dalam kategori sedang.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini dan hasil penelitian terdahulu yang disesuaikan dengan rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini, maka dapat dikatakan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran problem based learning (PBL) dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar fisika siswa kelas XI F3 di SMA Negeri 1 Madapangga Tahun Pelajaran 2024/2025.
