Abstract

This Journal explores the application of hermeneutics as a methodological framework for interpreting the Qur'an and the exegesis of Hadith. Hermeneutics, the art and science of interpretation, offers a systematic approach to understanding religious texts by considering historical, cultural, and linguistic contexts. The study emphasizes the significance of hermeneutical principles in revealing deeper meanings and insights within Islamic texts, which are often layered and complex. The research highlights various hermeneutical strategies, including textual analysis, contextualization, and the role of the interpreter's perspective. By examining classical and contemporary interpretations, the paper demonstrates how hermeneutics can bridge the gap between traditional understandings and modern applications, making the teachings of the Qur'an and Hadith more accessible to diverse audiences, particularly in English-speaking contexts. Furthermore, the paper discusses the implications of hermeneutical approaches for interfaith dialogue and contemporary ethical issues, illustrating how a nuanced understanding of Islamic texts can foster mutual respect and understanding among different cultures and religions. Ultimately, this study advocates for a hermeneutical approach as a vital tool in the ongoing quest for knowledge and spiritual growth within the Islamic tradition.

Abstract

Pengunaan kayu secara berlebihan juga kurang tepat jika dilakukan secara terus menerus untuk kelestarian alam. Begitupun biaya perawatan lambung kapal kayu nelayan memiliki biaya yang relatif tinggi sehingga terkadang membuat nelayan terbeban untuk melakukan perawatan. Material alternatif sebagai struktur konstruksi kapal, salah satunya adalah bahan plastik High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) yang memiliki sifat material viskoplastic. Suatu alat bantu digunakan untuk mempermudah proses pengerjaan sehingga mengurangi adanya resiko kecelakaan kerja akibat kondisi lingkungan dan kesulitan pada teknik pengolahan bahan material HDPE. Modifikasi penggunaan alat bantu diharapkan dapat membantu memberikan kontribusi terhadap penggunaan alat praktik untuk kegiatan praktikum dan penelitian di lingkungan laboratorium. Tujuan penelitian ini mengetahui tingkat pengaruh penggunaan  alat bantu untuk proses penekukan plat HDPE dengan cara heat treatment. Metode pada penelitian ini dengan metode observasi dan eksperimen dengan melihat problem yang terdapat di lapangan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan proses penekukan plat dengan menggunakan alat bantu dan cara heat treatmen dapat meningkatkan area bending sebesar 83 %. Perlakukan panas dengan  pendinginan sesaat dapat membuat material cepat mengalami bentuk bending yang memiliki alur bending sesuai dengan yang diinginkan. Alat bantu bending ini termasuk dalam teknologi tepat guna pengembangan alat praktik untuk kegiatan penelitian dan praktikum pada laboratorium pendidikan dan penelitian.

Abstract

Currently, coffee is a type of global drink that is famous in the world. Coffee is a very well-known commodity throughout Indonesia. Coffee, which was once synonymous with men and adults, has recently seen young people, especially women, increasingly enjoy drinking coffee. As coffee consumption increases from year to year, the coffee shop business has also experienced a significant increase. Every coffee shop is certainly adept at managing its business by having various concepts to attract customer attention. The aim of this research is to increase customer satisfaction at Kopi Kenangan by focusing on the role of product quality, promotion and service quality. Using IBM Statistics Version 26. Purposive sampling was used to collect samples from 81 customers, and the results showed that product quality had a positive impact on customer satisfaction while promotion had a positive impact and service quality did not. Together, product quality and promotion have a real and significant impact on customer satisfaction. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to improve product quality and promotional efforts at Kopi Kenangan so that it can better meet consumer needs and increase customer satisfaction.

Abstract

This study analyzes marital property separation agreements through the lens of Maqasid al-Shariah, with a specific focus on the principle of Hifdz al-Mal (protection of wealth) as an essential tool for safeguarding individual financial rights within marriage and preventing asset conflicts that could threaten family stability. Employing a qualitative method with a library research approach and in-depth literature analysis, the study reveals that marital property separation agreements have a strong legal foundation in Islamic and Indonesian national law, reinforced by Constitutional Court Decision No. 69/PUU-XIII/2015. This decision affirms the legality of marital property separation agreements under Indonesian law as an effective mechanism for ensuring fair asset management and protecting the financial rights of couples. The study recommends enhancing relevant regulations to improve legal clarity, educating the public about the benefits of these agreements, and encouraging active roles for religious scholars to support more flexible interpretations of Islamic law that address modern socio-economic needs. Future research employing quantitative methods and cross-cultural studies in dual-legal system countries such as Malaysia and Tunisia is suggested to explore public perceptions, economic impacts on women, and potential adaptations to address similar legal challenges.

Abstract

This research explores the application of the concept of Darul Ahdi Wa Syahadah as a foundation for implementing Maqasid al-Shariah within the context of the Pancasila state. The aim is to examine how Islamic values, which protect religion, life, intellect, progeny, and property, align with the principles of pluralism and diversity enshrined in Pancasila, ultimately striving to achieve a just, prosperous, and harmonious Indonesian society. Using a qualitative approach with a literature review and critical discourse analysis, this study examines various scientific works, official Muhammadiyah documents, and public policy reports. Findings reveal that Darul Ahdi wa Syahadah and Maqasid al-Shariah can harmonize in public policies that promote social justice and welfare in alignment with Pancasila’s principles, underscoring the role of Muhammadiyah as a key agent in integrating Islamic values with state ideology. Despite significant challenges, particularly concerning pluralism and religious freedom, these concepts hold substantial potential to reinforce social and political stability in Indonesia. Future research should focus on developing specific indicators to assess the effectiveness of Darul Ahdi wa Syahadah and Maqasid al-Shariah in public policies across sectors such as education, economic development, and healthcare. Additionally, empirical studies should be conducted to evaluate the broader societal reception of these concepts within Indonesia's pluralistic framework.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has had an impact on all areas of life and one of them is the field of zakat, due to the weak economy of the community due to the decline in income of Muzakki (people who are obliged to pay zakat), and on the other hand there has been an increase in Mustahik (people/entities who are entitled to receive zakat). This research aims to identify strategies for collecting zakat, infaq and shadaqah (ZIS) at the Muhammadiyah amil zakat, infaq and shadaqah institutions (LAZISMU) in the era of the covid-19 pandemic and after, apart from that, it also examines the extent of the impact of the post-covid-19 pandemic on ZIS zakat, infaq and shadaqah collection strategy at LAZISMU in the post-covid-19 pandemic era in Central Java. This research method is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, photos/videos, reports/subject documents. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique uses SWOT. The results of research conducted show that LAZISMU has a total weighted score of 3.78, while on the EFE matrix LAZISMU has a total weighted score of 3.67. LAZISMU's position is an above average position, so that in this position LAZISMU still has enough potential to be developed, however, it is also not recommended to develop strategies that are too aggressive, such as integration or acquisition strategies. In this position the company only needs to focus on maintaining, maintaining and improving its performance

Abstract

This study aims to examine the phenomenon of voter abstention, known as voter abstention (Golongan Putih or Golput), from the perspectives of Islamic law and Indonesian electoral legislation. The research utilizes a qualitative approach, relying on literature reviews and primary governmental documents to analyze how these two legal frameworks address and regulate voter abstention. The study explores the intersection of Islamic jurisprudence, particularly the 2009 fatwa by the Indonesian Ulama Council (Majelis Ulama Indonesia or MUI) that declared Golput haram (forbidden), and Indonesia’s electoral law, specifically Law No. 7 of 2017, which encourages voter participation without penalizing abstention. The findings reveal that while Golput is not prohibited by electoral law, it is framed as a violation of religious duty within Islamic legal thought. Additionally, the study highlights Golput as a form of civil resistance and political expression in Indonesia's democratic system. The analysis of these dual legal systems provides insights into the complexities of voter behavior and presents recommendations for strengthening democratic engagement. The implications of this research suggest that integrating religious principles with legal norms could enhance voter turnout and foster more inclusive electoral participation in Indonesia.

Abstract

Pondok Tahfidz Putra Universitas Muhammadiyah Semarang (UNIMUS) merupakan pondok pesantren yang memiliki mahasiswa dengan latar belakang program studi yang beragam di UNIMUS. Pondok Tahfidz Putra UNIMUS dibentuk sebagai upaya penanamkan nilai-nilai Islam berkelanjutan dan menghafal Al Qur’an dalam setiap kegiatan sehari-hari. Oleh karena itu, tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan strategi menghafal Al Quran dengan pendekatan metode talqin yang digunakan di Pondok Tahfidz Putra UNIMUS dalam menghafal Al-Qur'an. Jenis penilitian yang digunakan ialah penilitian lapangan (field reaserch), dan jenis pendekatan penelitian yang dipakai ialah deskrptif kualitif. Pengumpulan data penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Setelah melalui pengumpulan data-data akan dianalisi menggunakan metode analisis datanya ialah deskriptif kualitatif didukung dengan analisis induktif. Subjek penilitian berasal dari seluruh Mahasantri yang bermukim di pondok sekaligus menjadi mahasiswa aktif pada masing-masing Program studi di Universitas Muhammadiyah Semarang. Sumber lain dari penelitian ini adalah dokumen-dokumen dan jurnal-jurnal kegiatan Mahasantri yang laksanakan oleh Pondok Tahfid Putra UNIMUS. Dalam penelitian Metode Tahfidz Al-Quran di Pondok Tahfidz Putra UNIMUS, talqin terbukti sebagai metode utama yang efektif dalam menghafal Al-Quran. Aktivitas talqin dilaksanakan secara komunal setelah shalat Subuh dan Isya, diikuti dengan pembagian Mahasantri ke dalam kelompok Halaqah sesuai dengan kemampuan mereka. Ustadz tahfidz dari masing-masing kelompok membacakan ayat yang akan dihafalkan, dan Mahasantri merespon dengan menirukan secara berulang-ulang. Hasilnya, proses belajar-mengajar tahfidz Al-Quran di Pondok Tahfidz Putra UNIMUS terbukti sangat efisien, terlihat dari prestasi Mahasantri yang berhasil menghafal 4-6 juz, sesuai dengan target Pondok. Meskipun terdapat variasi nilai jumlah hafalan di antara Mahasantri, namun nilai tersebut telah memenuhi kriteria kelulusan tahfidz yang ditetapkan. Dengan demikian, metode talqin menjadi landasan yang efisien dalam membimbing Mahasantri mencapai prestasi tahfidz Al-Quran yang diinginkan.

Abstract

The science that is circulating today has been influenced by Western philosophy, namely secularism and skepticism. This has led to the separation of religion (God) from science, with doubt becoming the foundation in the search for truth. This is, of course, in contrast to Islamic values. Therefore, Ismail Raji Al-Faruqi and Syed Muhammad Naquib Al-Attas offer the concept of the Islamization of science as a solution to the problems faced. The aim of this research is to examine the concept of the Islamization of science according to Ismail Raji Al-Faruqi and Syed Muhammad Naquib Al-Attas and its implications for the development of Islamic education. In this research practice, the researcher uses a qualitative approach and a descriptive method of non-interactive study. Data collection was carried out through literature study techniques, with the researcher as the key instrument. The collected data was then analyzed through the stages of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study show that there are both similarities and differences regarding several concepts within the Islamization of science in the views of Al-Faruqi and Al-Attas. Among the similarities is the background that justifies the need for Islamization. The differences between them are found in the stages of the Islamization of science. Al-Attas provides a general explanation with two stages: alienation and absorption. In contrast, Al-Faruqi offers a detailed explanation of this process with 12 stages. Another finding from this research indicates that the concept of the Islamization of science has implications for the development of Islamic education, covering institutional, curriculum, and educator aspects.

AbstrakDalam melakukan kegiatan usahanya, PT Fath Technology Solutions menggunakan strategi pemasaranyaitu segmentasi,targeting,positioning. Segmentasi pasar yang dilakukan oleh PT Fath TechnologiSolutions cukup konsisten yaitu merujuk pada perkembangan teknologi seperti perangkat lunak danjaringan komputer. Dengan memfokuskan pada produk teknologi merupakan keputusan yang palingtepat, mengingat di kota Cirebon sendiri belum terdapat perusahaan serupa yang bergerak padadevelopment dan IT maintenance software dan hardware. Targeting pasar yang dilakukan PT FathTechnologi Solutions yaitu pada perusahaan/instansi dan sekolah yang memerlukan jasa IT maintenancemaupun development software. Dalam strategi positioning adalah dengan memberikan harga yangmurah, hal tersebut dilakukan selain untuk menarik minat pelanggannya dalam menerapkan teknologiinformasi pada perusahaan mereka, penawaran dengan harga yang murah juga dikarenakan tujuanperusahaan ini juga ingin membantu pengusaha-pengusaha kecil agar dapat mengikuti perkembanganteknologi namun dengan harga yang tidak memeras isi dompet. Penerapan strategi pemasaran yangdilakukan PT Fath Technologi Solution tentu sesuai dengan bisnis Islam. Dari hasil penelitian ini,bahwadalam menerapkan strategi pemasaran dalam persepktif bisnis Islam ini tidaklah mudah,karena ituterdapat beberapa kendala.
