Abstract

The decreasing interest in reading books has resulted in books being replaced by digital media. Changes in community behavior in the era of disruption occur because people are more interested in information obtained through online news that is spread on various websites and social media. This study aims to determine community participation in the implementation of the Digital Reading Corner (POCADI) program in Tebing Tinggi City which focuses on community involvement in utilizing the Pocadi program to increase reading interest and digital literacy in Tebing Tinggi City. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods. Data collection techniques are interviews, observation and documentation. The results obtained using the analysis of the theory of community participation proposed by Cohen and Uphoff show that the Pocadi program still has not shown a positive impact in increasing interest in reading and literacy in the community. Community participation in the Pocadi program has not been carried out optimally at each stage. Especially at the implementation stage, where the community has not fully utilized Pocadi as a reading place that supports an increase in interest in reading and digital literacy in the community.

Abstract

Purpose - This research aims to provide a deeper understanding of the risks associated with investing in sharia fixed income mutual funds and how these risks can affect investment returns.Method - This research adopts a quantitative descriptive research approach that focuses on numerical data. The operational definition of mutual fund risk in this study refers to the concept of risk defined as the variability of returns from the type of securities that will form the portfolio. The securities that are the focus of this research are sharia fixed income mutual funds.Result - The performance of sharia fixed income mutual funds from 2021 to 2022 shows positive and significant developments.Implication - The findings of this research have significant implications for financial policymakers and investors. Furthermore, this research emphasizes the importance of ethical investment choices and compliance with sharia principles, providing investors with financial security and ethical satisfaction.Originality - This research contributes to the field of research by providing a comprehensive analysis of the risk and return characteristics of sharia fixed income mutual funds. Additionally, this research offers a more holistic view of investment performance.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has had an impact on all areas of life and one of them is the field of zakat, due to the weak economy of the community due to the decline in income of Muzakki (people who are obliged to pay zakat), and on the other hand there has been an increase in Mustahik (people/entities who are entitled to receive zakat). This research aims to identify strategies for collecting zakat, infaq and shadaqah (ZIS) at the Muhammadiyah amil zakat, infaq and shadaqah institutions (LAZISMU) in the era of the covid-19 pandemic and after, apart from that, it also examines the extent of the impact of the post-covid-19 pandemic on ZIS zakat, infaq and shadaqah collection strategy at LAZISMU in the post-covid-19 pandemic era in Central Java. This research method is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, photos/videos, reports/subject documents. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique uses SWOT. The results of research conducted show that LAZISMU has a total weighted score of 3.78, while on the EFE matrix LAZISMU has a total weighted score of 3.67. LAZISMU's position is an above average position, so that in this position LAZISMU still has enough potential to be developed, however, it is also not recommended to develop strategies that are too aggressive, such as integration or acquisition strategies. In this position the company only needs to focus on maintaining, maintaining and improving its performance

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis program dan pendayagunaan Zakat, Infaq dan Shadaqah (ZIS) yang dijalankan oleh Lembaga Amil Zakat Muhammadiyah (LAZISMU) Kabupaten Cirebon. Metode penelitian dalam penyusunan jurnal ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data sekunder yang didapatkan dari Lembaga Amil Zakat Muhammadiyah (LAZISMU) Kabupaten Cirebon. Abstract

This article delves into the role of the Arabic language in understanding Islam by revealing the depth and complexity of its meanings. Arabic is not just a means of communication; it is also the gateway to the spiritual and intellectual dimensions of Islamic teachings. In the context of religious understanding, the Arabic language plays a central role in the interpretation of the Quran, Hadith, and other religious literature. Utilizing a qualitative research method of descriptive analytics, this article elucidates how the Arabic language aids in formulating Islamic law, nurturing intellectual traditions, and supporting various theological perspectives within the Muslim world. Additionally, the variations in Arabic dialects are analyzed to comprehend how the language adapts to regional contexts. Through this exploration, the article aims to encourage readers to approach Islam with a more holistic and profound understanding, gained through insights derived from the Arabic language.

Abstract

Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) berperan signifikan dalam pembangunan ekonomi Indonesia, dengan mayoritas pelakunya adalah perempuan. Di Indonesia, 64,5% pelaku UMKM adalah perempuan, yang berkontribusi sebesar 61% terhadap PDB nasional. Namun, perempuan pelaku UMKM menghadapi berbagai tantangan, seperti kurangnya dukungan keluarga, akses perizinan yang sulit, manajemen bisnis yang belum optimal, dan minimnya akses ke pasar. Organisasi Aisyiyah, melalui program Bina Usaha Ekonomi Keluarga Aisyiyah (BUEKA), berupaya mengatasi masalah ini dengan mengembangkan UMKM perempuan melalui pelatihan, peningkatan kapasitas, dan digitalisasi. Pengabdian masyarakat ini mengusulkan solusi berupa Sistem Informasi Kemitraan Berbasis Cloud untuk meningkatkan keterjangkauan dan aksesibilitas bagi UMKM Aisyiyah di Jawa Tengah. Metode yang digunakan mencakup perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi pelatihan dengan pendekatan partisipatif. Hasil implementasi menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengelolaan kemitraan UMKM, manajemen kasir, dan integrasi layanan digital berbasis cloud yang dapat memudahkan proses jual beli dan meningkatkan kinerja UMKM perempuan di bawah Aisyiyah.

Abstract

The dichotomy between religion and science is one of the causes of the decline of Muslims. Kuntowijoyo offers an integrative scientific paradigm as a solution. This article examines Kuntowijoyo's thoughts from various primary and secondary literature with the aim of exploring the concept of an integrated scientific paradigm initiated by Kuntowijoyo. This type of research is library research with a qualitative approach. The data collection method is using documentation. The data analysis methods include reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this research reveal the concept of Kuntowijoyo's integrative science paradigm in the structure of the philosophy of science. The ontology is theo-anthropocentric monotheism, the epistemologies are integralization and objectification and the axiology is rahmatan lil-'alamin. Dikotomi antara agama dan sains menjadi salah satu sebab kemunduran umat Islam. Kuntowijoyo menawarkan sebuah paradigma keilmuan integratif sebagai solusinya. Artikel ini mengkaji pemikiran Kuntowijoyo dari berbagai literatur primer dan sekunder dengan tujuan menelusuri konsep paradigma keilmuan terpadu yang digagas Kuntowijoyo. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kepustakaan dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan dokumentasi. Adapun metode analisis data berupa reduksi, penyajian data dan penarikan simpulan. Hasil dari penelitian ini mengungkap konsep paradigma ilmu integratif Kuntowijoyo dalam struktur filsafat ilmu. Ontologinya berupa tauhid teo-antroposentris, epistemologi berupa integralisasi dan objektivikasinya serta aksiologinya berupa rahmatan lil-‘alamin.

Abstract

Islam places ethics and morals in the most important position in life. Islamic economic business ethics is here to be a solution for self-development in the world of business and actions that are in accordance with norms and religion. The research used is qualitative research, with data collection techniques such as tracking journals, books and articles that discuss Islamic economic business ethics. After the data sources have been collected, the author will analyze them and then draw conclusions because of the research. The aim of this research is to explore how big the opportunities for doing business in the era of digitalization are while still prioritizing morals. This research reveals Islamic economic business ethics in facing future economic challenges, namely by continuing to keep up with the times and innovating and cultivating one's own abilities to be able to adapt to increasingly advanced and developing conditions, the business world aims to produce much better economic growth and continue to prioritize ethics and morals.

Abstract

Purpose: As the complexity and diversity of cyberattacks continue to grow, traditional security measures fall short in effectively countering these threats within web-based environments. Therefore, there is an urgent need to develop and implement innovative, advanced techniques tailored specifically to detect and address these evolving security risks within web applications.Methods: This research focuses on analyzing attack detection in log access servers using machine learning classification with two primary approaches: expert labeling integration and best model selection. Expert labeling determines whether log entries are safe or indicate an attack.Result: Validation in labeling was applied using different datasets to minimize errors and increase confidence in the resulting dataset. Experimental results show that the Decision Tree and Random Forest models have nearly identical accuracy rates, around 89.3%-89.4%, while the ANN model has an accuracy of 81%.Novelty: This study proposes a fusion of expert knowledge in labeling log entries with a rigorous process of selecting the best classification model. This integration has not been extensively explored in previous research, offering a novel approach to enhancing attack detection within web applications. The research contribution lies in the integration of expert security assessment and the selection of the best model for detecting attacks on server access logs, along with validating labels using various datasets from different log devices to enhance confidence in the analysis results.

Abstract

Studi ini meneliti bagaimana sosialisasi program sekolah progresif, aplikatif, dan kolaboratif berdampak pada kegiatan belajar mengajar di RA Mutiara al-Ikhwan Sidoarjo. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sosialisasi signifikan meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran, seperti yang ditunjukkan oleh metodologi studi kasus kualitatif. Dengan menerapkan pendekatan pembelajaran yang progresif dan aplikatif, guru dapat menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang mendukung kerja sama dan meningkatkan hubungan yang positif antara guru, siswa, dan orang tua. Sosialisasi juga membantu membangun pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang tujuan program sekolah, mendorong keterlibatan aktif dari semua stakeholder. Hasilnya memungkinkan sekolah, guru, dan orang tua untuk mengembangkan strategi sosialisasi yang berguna untuk meningkatkan kegiatan belajar mengajar di RA Mutiara al-Ikhwan Sidoarjo
