Abstract

This article discusses the social restrictions: mujahadah as a spiritual bridge in Sufistic ethics in the pandemic era. Some Muslim societies do not understand the Covid-19 pandemic, so they shut themselves and even refuse to make changes, especially in implementing worship. They believe in the loss of ethical aspects of religious teachings that they believe in because of trapped in fiqh-oriented dogmas and glued to jurisprudential texts so that they become exclusive and radical. Understanding and knowing human nature is a door to knowing oneself, life, the environment, nature, and God. If a man does not know himself, surely he will not know his God. Recognition and understanding of human nature require earnest mujahadah as a bridge for the establishment of religious qualities that balance esoteric and exoteric aspects. Humans are free social beings but limited by divine laws to maintain the authenticity of humanity. Social restrictions such as constitutional ijtihad that permeates the formal aspects of religion are a manifestation so that humans remain ihsan to themselves, others, and their environment. The Covid-19 pandemic is a love letter from God as the holy verses revealed to the Prophet Muhammad as a warning because humans have been separated from the cycling of other orbits, namely God and nature. Social restrictions as constitutional ijtihad are the right moment for humans to return to greet God, themselves, nature, and khuruj from a materialistic vision of life.

Abstract

Work motivation is a crucial aspect in the professional world; it is not solely viewed from a material perspective but also from a spiritual one. The primary aim of this writing is to analyze and explain how Hadith can serve as a source of work motivation for individuals, particularly for Muslims. The method employed in this research is a literature review. This analysis is conducted using a descriptive-analytical approach, where the meanings and characteristics of work motivation found in the Hadith of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) are examined and studied thematically. Work motivation consists of three main components: needs, drives, and goals. There are five factors that influence work motivation from the perspective of Hadith, namely intention, a conducive environment, appreciation and recognition, understanding the importance of work, and spiritual and emotional support. In the context of work motivation, there are several Hadiths that can be referenced. One well-known Hadith is the one narrated by Al-Bukhari and Muslim regarding intention in work. The principle of work in Islam is that it is not merely an activity to earn income but also a form of worship that holds spiritual value. The principles of work in Islam, derived from the study of Hadith, encompass good intentions, honesty, hard work, and social responsibility. Through the study of Hadith, we can discover various values that can motivate individuals to work better, and by applying the values contained within these Hadiths, it is hoped that individuals can enhance their productivity and performance.

Abstract

Family Resilience has gained increasing scholarly attention amid growing economic uncertainty and financial vulnerability. This study aims to reconceptualize financial literacy as a pillar of family resilience from a Hadith perspective, addressing a gap in mainstream literature that often overlooks ethical and religious foundations. This research uses an interpretative qualitative method, analyzed using an integration-interconnection approach by Amin Abdullah, namely analyzing the Prophet's hadiths regarding household financial management, then integrating them with social sciences, such as economics and finance, and Islamic law. The findings demonstrate a strong convergence between prophetic ethical principles and core indicators of modern financial literacy. The Hadith emphasis on responsibility for family provision aligns with budgeting practices and prioritization of essential needs, thereby supporting household economic stability. Teachings on moderation in consumption foster adaptive and sustainable financial attitudes, contributing to long-term resilience. Prophetic warnings against excessive debt reflect an early awareness of structural financial risks that contemporary studies associate with family stress, conflict, and economic fragility. Furthermore, ethical guidance on the use of wealth cultivates value-oriented financial behavior that enhances not only economic resilience but also social, emotional, and moral well-being within households. Overall, the study shows that Hadith-based financial literacy operates as a moral–financial capability that integrates technical financial competence with ethical responsibility. Thus, this research strengthens the theory of integration-interconnection of hadith studies with social sciences, especially economics and Islamic family law, which offers a conceptual basis for the development of family policies and contextual and sustainable financial literacy education.
