Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) berbasis Filsafat pada materi balok untuk siswa SMP. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, dimana penelitian ini mendeskripsikan tahapan pengembangan LKPD berbasis filsafat. Penelitian ini menggunakan tahapan model pengembangan ADDIE yaitu analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi dan evaluasi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu tes tertulis, observasi, wawancara semi tersrtuktur dan dokumentasi. Hasil daripenelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa untuk mengembangkan LKPD dibutuhkan evaluasi di setiap tahapannya. Evaluasi diperoleh dari saran dosen dan rekan sejawat. Pada tahap implementasi nanti, barulah peneliti mendapatkan data dari jawaban subjek, hasil wawancara, serta hasil observasi sehingga menghasilkan LKPD berbasis Filsafat yang terdiri atas 4 Kegiatan, dimana ada satu kegiatan untuk Ontologi, dua kegiatan untuk Epistemologi, dan Aksiologi yang hanya berisi satu kegiatan.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explore ethnomathematicss elements in 100-Pillars Limas House and integrate it into mathematic learning. This research use ethnographic approach. The data are collected through interviews, observation, documentation, and test. The data obtained from observations and interviews are carried out by data analysis with the stages of data reduction, data display and verification. While the data obtained from the test will be analyzed by accumulating the test results of students who reach the KKM and then looking at the completeness of student learning outcomes. The results of this study indicate that: (1) there are several mathematical concepts, namely geometry and symmetry used in the construction of the 100-pillars Limas house structure and the philosophy that underlies each of the parts contained in the house. 2) its integration in learning mathematics is conducted to contextualize abstract mathematical objects so that the student will be easier to understanding mathematical concepts while introducing cultural elements to students. The learning outcomes of students after implementing ethnomathematicss-based learning shows that there are 88% of students who finished the integration of ethnomathematicss into mathematic learning in effective category.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a PISA-type content quantity that uses the context of religious holidays during the pandemic that is valid, practical, and potentially affects mathematical literacy skills. This research uses development research with two stages: preliminary and formative evaluation. This research also uses Inquiry-Based Learning (IBL) model in the learning process. This study involved eighth-grade students aged 13-15 years of various abilities. Data collection and analysis techniques were documentation, walkthroughs, observation, interviews, and tests. The research was carried out offline and online (Zoom and WhatsApp Group (WAG)). In this study, sharing activities were produced as well as a PISA-type jumping task with content quantity characteristics in the context of religious holiday during the pandemic by the PISA 2022 framework where what needs to be considered are mathematical literacy skills and use of language that is by language standards that can be applied and well interpreted by the students. Based on the students' answers, it can be seen that the questions and activities are included in the practical category because they can be solved well by students. From the results, it can be concluded that the developed PISA-like numeracy and activity has a potential effect on mathematical literacy skills and life in the context of religious days during the pandemic. In addition, IBL model can improve students' communication skills in solving PISA-type math problems and activities.

Abstract

This research is a series of developmental study design research, the prototyping stage – self-evaluation and formative evaluation. At self-evaluation stage, designing the worksheet, three development characteristics: content, constructs, and language are the concern. Then, at formative evaluation stage, the expert stage review was conducted to see the validity of the worksheet (one-to-one testing and interviews with 4 students who are part of the population based on high, medium, and low abilities). Document analysis is administered by matching the suitability of the workseheet designed on the initial prototype with the modeling framework, high school curriculum, and geometric sequences learning. Analysis of observations and interviews were carried out descriptively by observing the difficulties and findings of the process on doing the worksheet. Walk through analysis was obtained by descriptively analyzing and revising based on the validator notes. Result at the expert stage review and one-to-one showed that the worksheet based on mathematical modeling using the context of energy conversion in geometric sequences learning was valid.Penelitian ini adalah penelitian design research tipe development study menggunakan model ADDIE dan pada tahap implementasi dan evaluasi mengikuti alur formative evaluation dari Tessmer. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan LKPD berbasis pemodelan matematika pada materi pola barisan geometri menggunakan konteks konversi energi yang valid, praktis, dan memiliki efek potensial. Teknik pengumpulan data terdiri dari walkthrough, observasi, wawancara, dan tes. Analisis observasi dan wawancara dilakukan secara deskriptif dengan mengamati kesulitan dan temuan dari proses pengerjaan LKPD siswa. Analisis walkthrough dilakukan dengan cara menganalisis secara deskriptif dengan merevisi berdasarkan catatan validator. tes dilakukan setelah pembelajaran untuk melihat efek potensial dari LKPD yang dikembangkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa LKPD yang dihasilkan telah valid, praktis, dan memiliki efek potensial terhadap kemampuan pemodelan matematika siswa. Persentase skor pada saat tes evaluasi menunjukkan 54,05 % terkategori sangat baik, 32,43% terkategori baik, dan 13 % terkategori cukup.

Abstract

Research is a descriptive research that aims to describe the product development process in the form of infographic learning media in algebra material through Instagram that is appropriate for students to use for independent learning activities. This research focuses on creating infographic media in algebra material through Instagram to reduce mathematics anxiety and improve learning outcomes. The method used in this research is development research using the Sadiman’s model. The stages in this development model are preliminary stage, prototyping stage, and final stage, which from three stages contain of nine steps, namely identification of needs, formulation of objectives, formulation of materials, formulation of success measurement tools, writing of media scripts, production, tests/trials, revisions and the final product. There were 34 students of seventh graders of junior high school participating in this study. Data was collected through interviews, observations, tests, and questionnaires. Data were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The results of the validation test by experts show that 93% of infographics through Instagram as strengthening students' understanding are included in the valid category and are suitable for use in the learning process. In addition, as many as 88% of students experienced an increase in learning outcomes after learning to use infographics through Instagram which indicated that the level of student anxiety in learning mathematics had decreased.

Abstract

This study focused on developing student worksheet (SW) based on philosophy on the topic of matrix operations, including an overview of its effect on students' conceptual understanding abilities of grade XI at Senior High School (SMA in Bahasa) IT Bina Ilmi Palembang. It discussed how the student worksheet produced could be valid, practical, and had potential effects. The method used was development research consisting of preliminary, prototyping and assessment phase stages. This student worksheet consisted of the history of the matrix (ontology), matrix operation procedures (epistemology) and implementation of the matrix (axiology). The results showed that the validity of the student worksheet amounted to 84.1% with a valid category and could be used with minor revisions. The practicality score at the small group stage was 87.8% with a very practical category. Statistical results showed that there was an increase in the average score of a significant test result of 59.06. This showed that there was a positive effect from the use of philosophy-based SW on students' conceptual understanding. Based on these results, the philosophy-based student worksheet developed was categorized as valid, practical, and effective in improving students' conceptual understanding ability on matrix material.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan etnomatematika di Jambi Kota Seberang. Penelitian ini menggunakan etnografi dan hasil observasi sebagai sumber data. Masyarakat menggunakan konsep matematika yang lebih detail pada bangunan Gentala Arasy. Bangunan ini merepresentasikan berbagai macam bentuk geometri. Bagian bawah berbentuk balok, bagian tengah berbentuk prisma segi delapan, bagian atas berbentuk silinder dan puncaknya berbentuk separuh elipsoida. Gentala Arasy dapat dijadikan sebagai referensi untuk sumber belajar dalam pembelajaran matematika di Sekolah. Kata Kunci: Etnomatematika, Budaya Masyarakat Jambi Kota Seberang ABSTRACT This study aims to explore ethnomathematics in Jambi Kota Seberang. This study used ethnograph and observation result as data resource. Jambinese built Gentala Arasy which represent various geometry objects. The bottom part is a cuboid, the middle part is an octagonal prism, the upper part is a cylinder, and the highest part is a semi ellipsoide. Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kajian pendidikan matematika yang berhubungan dengan etnomatematika pada rumah adat ogan Komering Ulu di Provinsi Sumatera Selatan. Seperti halnya dengan kota-kota besar di Indonesia yang mempunyai budaya beragam, Ogan Komering Ulu mempunyai ragam kekayaan sejarah dan budaya yang sangat menakjubkan. Salah satu peninggalan tersebut adalah arsitektur tradisional rumah ogan komering ulu. Beberapa rumah tradisional tersebut telah berumur lebih dari 50 tahun serta menyimpan nilai sejarah, budaya dan arsitektur yang belum sepenuhnya terungkap dengan jelas. Rumah ogan komering ulu mempunyai bangunan tipe spesifik yaitu limas, kemudian ada beberapa motif hiasan rumah atau ukiran yang berbentuk geometri. Kata kunci: etnomatematika, rumah adat, geometri. ABSTRACT This is a literature study of mathematics education related to ethnomatematics in traditional house of Komering Ulu in southern sumatera province. Like the other big cities in indonesia that have diverse culture, Ogan Komering Ulu also has an incredible variety of historical and cultural riches. One such relic is the traditional architecture of the house ogan komering ulu. Some of the traditional houses are over 50 years old and store historical, cultural and architectural values that have not been fully revealed. Rumah ogan komering ulu has a specific type of building that is pyramid, then there are some motifs of home decoration or engraving in the form of geometry. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas V SDN 55 Palembang dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran Wordwall. Penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) ini dilaksanakan sebanyak 2 siklus yang terdiri dari 2 pertemuan. Tahapan yang dilaksanakan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek  dalam  penelitian ini merupakan peserta didik kelas VC SDN 55 Palembang  yang berjumlah 32 peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah dokumentasi, observasi, wawancara, dan tes. Teknik anaisis data menggunakan model analisis interaktif (Miles & Huberman). Berdasarkan hasil dari Peningkatan hasil belajar tersebut dapat dilihat dari peningkatan hasil prasiklus yang mendapatkan persentase sebesar 9,375% atau hanya 3 orang peserta didik yang memperoleh nilai . Pada siklus 1 pertemuan I  sebesar 59, 375% atau 19 orang peserta didik, kemudian ada peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik sebesar  dipertemuan II ada peningkatan sebesar 71,875% atau 23 orang peserta didik yang memperoleh nilai sebesar Pada siklus II dipertemuan I perolehan nilai  berjumlah 78, 125% dan dipertemuan II berjumlah 87,5%. Dari hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik pada pelajaran PKN materi Keberagaman budaya dengan memanfaatkan media pembelajaran Wordwall. Sehingga hasil belajar peserta didik kelas VC SDN 55 Palembang dapat dikatakan meningkat sebesar 87,5%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to produce students' learning trajectories in studying addition and subtraction of fractional numbers. The operation of adding and splitting fractional numbers is one of the materials that must be mastered by elementary school students. The learning approach used is the Indonesian Realistic Mathematics Education (PMRI) approach with the context of the Watervang dam. The use of the Watervang dam context is used as a means to apply the concept of addition and subtraction of fractional numbers to real problems. His research uses the validation studies type design research method. The subjects of the study were six grade IV students of SD IT An-Nida Lubuklinggau City. This research produces a learning trajectory (LT) which contains a series of learning activities that help students understand the concepts of addition and subtraction of fractional numbers. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the learning trajectory using the context of the Watervang dam can help students develop an understanding of the concept of addition and subtraction of fractional numbers.
