Abstract

Curriculum evaluation is an essential aspect in assessing the application of the curriculum in learning, with the development of the MBKM curriculum making learning changes in every tertiary institution. So, it is necessary to have a study related to evaluating the MBKM curriculum. The purpose of this research is to be able to examine the impacts and problems found in the MBKM curriculum. The approach used is qualitative with library study data collection. This study's results show that a positive and good response is received in evaluating the MBKM curriculum. MBKM is considered to be able to develop students' abilities. One of the developing abilities is the self-quality possessed by students. Even so, there are still some things that need to be improved. So far, the problem is that evaluations are mainly carried out summatively. For this reason, it is hoped that there will be improvements related to the MBKM curriculum and assessments using both summative and formative methods because they complement each other.

Abstract

Background of the study: Libraries as the heart of the life of science for the learning process need to be managed properly. Referring to standards adapted from school libraries such as the Regulation of the Head of the National Library of the Republic of Indonesia Number 12 of 2017 concerning National Standards for Senior High School / Madrasah Aliyah Libraries, will provide clear directions for its implementation. Purpose: The purpose of this study is to determine the extent to which the application of the legal basis as a standard for organizing and managing high school libraries at the Yayasan BPI library. Method: The research method used is a qualitative approach with an evaluative type of research. This study uses the CIPPO evaluation model in monitoring and evaluating the Yayasan BPI library. Findings: In this study, it was found that the Yayasan BPI library had not fully met the standards as stated in the regulations. This happens because of the lack of human resources so that it is not effective and efficient in carrying out the work, services and programs designed by the school library. Conclusion: The constraints felt by Yayasan BPI Library greatly affect the intensity of visitor visits. However, in fulfilling library materials, the Yayasan BPI library has fully met the information needs of its users.

Abstract

In its management, the library must be carried out monitoring and evaluation activities to see whether it has met the information needs of the people in the organization or institution. This monitoring and evaluation activity can be in the form of an assessment of services, collections, facilities, infrastructure, and library staff. Here I chose the BPI Bandung High School library as my place to conduct monitoring and evaluation activities on its collections. This research aims to monitor and evaluate the BPI Bandung High School library groups using the Formative-Sumative model. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach. The techniques used are observation, interview, and documentation techniques. This research concludes that the BPI Bandung High School library is by the standard library criteria in Indonesia. It's just that the collection procurement and stock-taking can be maximized again.

Abstract

Introduction. As one of the supporters of learning activities whose existence we often encounter in every school, the library is intended to support teaching and learning activities. This study aims to determine the role of library facilities and infrastructure in increasing interest in visiting Taruna Bakti students.Research methods. The research method used is a qualitative research method with a case study type. Researchers conducted observations, interviews, and descriptive analysis.Analysis data. Researchers conducted data analysis through three stages: data reduction, data presentation, conclusions, and verification.Results and Discussion. The Taruna Bakti Foundation library has almost met the standards for the procurement of library facilities and markets based on indicators adapted by researchers from the Regulation of the Head of the National Library of the Republic of Indonesia Number 12 of 2017 concerning National Standards for High School/Madrasah Aliyah Libraries so that the Taruna Bakti Foundation Library can make users comfortable and increase visitor visits.

Abstract

This research is based on the development of information needs and efforts of the museum as one of information institutions to meet these information needs by conveying information in its collections. The information conveyed to relate to aspects of attention, interest, search, action, and share designed in a website-based museum information system. This study aims to describe the results of the implementation of the museum website based on AISAS aspects. The approach used in this research is descriptive quantitative with museum visitors as respondents. The respondents involved were 50 museum visitors, with the criteria determined by the researcher. The data that has been obtained is then processed and analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the overall museum website designs have met the expectations of website visitors to good criteria based on the AISAS aspect, but the action and share indicators are expected to be further improved because they are still in the fairly good category. Based on the results of this study, it is expected that the design of the museum website can pay attention to every indicator in the AISAS aspect so that the museum website can meet the expectations of visitors to the museum website.

Abstract

Penyebaran virus Covid-19 masih terus berlangsung sehingga pembelajaran jarak jauh masih tetap diberlakukan. Salah satu metode yang diterapkan di berbagai perguruan tinggi yaitu Video Conference. Selama menggunakan Video Conference, terdapat berbagai persoalan yang dinilai tidak efektif dalam segi kualitas pemahaman materi, dimana banyak mahasiswa yang merasa bosan selama pembelajaran berlangsung, serta proses pembelajaran yang tidak interaktif karena kurangnya interaksi antara pendidik dengan peserta didik, sehingga mengakibatkan rendahnya tingkat pemahaman pada mahasiswa. Dalam upaya menciptakan proses pembelajaran yang optimal dibutuhkan metode yang tidak membosankan, terdapat interaktivitas yang baik, serta dapat meningkatkan pemahaman. Maka dari itu, penulis tertarik untuk mengembangkan penelitian mengenai efektivitas penggunaan kuis interaktif berbasis Video Conference terhadap pemahaman materi pada mahasiswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif, dengan kuisioner sebagai instrument pengumpulan data. Subjek penelitiannya yaitu mahasiswa Program Studi Teknologi Pendidikan angkatan 2020 sebanyak 31 sampel, dan peneliti menggunakan teknik uji analisis korelasi Rank Spearman. Hasil koefisien korelasi yang diperoleh yakni sebesar 0,482 yang terkategori cukup kuat. Angka tersebut menunjukan terdapat pengaruh antara penggunaan kuis interaktif berbasis Video Conference terhadap pemahaman materi pada mahasiswa. Kuis interaktif dinilai sebagai metode pembelajaran yang menyenangkan, menarik dan mempermudah dalam menyampaikan materi, sehingga metode ini sangat efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman pada mahasiswa.Kata Kunci: Kuis Interaktif; Pandemi Covid-19; Video Conference. AbstractThe spread of the Covid-19 virus is still ongoing so distance learning is still. One of the methods applied in universities is Video Conference. During using Video Conference, there problems that are considered fewer effective terms of the quality understanding the material, where many students feel bored, and learning process is not interactive due to lack interaction between educators and students, so resulting a low level of understanding. A method that is not dull, has good interactivity, and can increase student comprehension is required. A result, the authors want to research into the impact of using Video Conference interactive quizzes on student comprehension of material. Researcher uses a quantitative analysis process, with questionnaire data collection tool and uses the Spearman Rank correlation analysis test methodology. Subjects of this study were students of the Education Technology Study Program class of 2020, with a sample of 31 people. The correlation coefficient obtained is 0.482, including in the "good enough" group. This number shows the use of Video Conference interactive quizzes has effect on students' understanding of material. Interactive quizzes are considered as a fun, interesting and easy learning method in delivering material, so this method is very effective in increasing student understanding.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi dalam dunia pendidikan semakin meningkat. Salah satu perkembangan teknologi yang mulai sering digunakan dalam dunia pendidikan salah satunya adalah Big Data. Seorang pustakawan bernama Fremont Rider yang berasal dari Amerika Serikat tepatnya di Westleyan University pada tahun 1944 telah memperkirakan bahwa volume koleksi universitas di Amerika Serikat tidak akan mencapai 200 juta kopi pada tahun 2040 mendatang. Pada akhirnya, ia memaparkan beberapa isu tentang penggunan data yang cukup besar, kapasitas dalam penyimpanan, dan juga kebutuhan untuk menganalisis data. Pada perkembangan selanjutnya, yaitu pada tahun 1949 seorang ahli matematika dari Amerika Serikat bernama Claude Shannon. Shannon diketahui sebagai ahli teori informasi, Shanon juga berhasil melakukan riset terhadap item-item dengan contoh data fotografi dan punch cards. Peneliatian yang telah berhasil dilakukan oleh Shanon bisa dilihat adalah sebuah item paling besar yaitu The Library of Congress yang mempunyai ukuran 100 teriliun lebih besar dari bit data. Big Data disebutkan kali pertama mulai tahun 1997 oleh Michael Cox yang merupakan peneliti dan rekannya didalam sebuah artikel berjudul Application-controlled demand paging for out-of-core visualization.Kata Kunci: Big Data; Pendidikan; Teknologi. AbstractThe development of technology in the world of education is increasing. One of the technological developments that are often used in the world of education, one of which is Big Data. The research that has been successfully carried out by Shanon can be seen that the largest item is The Library of Congress which has a size of 100 larger than data bits. Big Data was first mentioned in 1997 by Michael Cox who is a researcher and colleagues in an article entitled Application-controlled demand paging for out-of-core visualization.

Abstract

In this digital era, education is experiencing rapid growth, especially in the diversity of evaluations given to students, one of which is through gamification. This article explores optimizing learning evaluation through gamification in the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) evaluation model in marketing education at SMKN 1 Bandung. The method used is descriptive quantitative research. Data collection is done through questionnaires and interviews. The data sources and subjects in this study are educators in the marketing subject at SMKN 1 Bandung and students majoring in Online Business and Marketing at SMKN 1 Bandung, with the object being the evaluation of marketing learning with the implementation of gamification in the CIPP model. The results of this study indicate that the learning evaluation process with gamification is well-received by students at SMKN 1 Bandung. Applying gamification in learning evaluation using the CIPP model enhances students' learning outcomes and creates a responsive, adaptive, and collaborative learning environment.

Abstract

Fokus dari penelitian ini adalah tentang maraknya penggunaan media sosial sebagai sumber informasi oleh para penggunanya. Penulisan artikel ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman mengenai pengaruh dari penggunaan media sosial itu sendiri terhadap perilaku pencarian informasi yang dilakukan oleh siswa-siswi SMAN 2 Cimahi. Selanjutnya, dalam tulisan ini akan dibahas mengenai apa itu media sosial, kebutuhan informasi, perilaku pencarian informasi, faktor yang mendorong tindakan pencarian informasi melalui media sosial, hal-hal yang mempengaruhi perilaku pencarian informasi, serta perilaku pencarian informasi Siswa SMAN 2 Cimahi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan menggunakan survey kuisioner. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diketahui bahwasannya terdapat beberapa faktor yang mendorong penggunaan media sosial sebagai sumber informasi. Selain itu, faktor psikologis dan karakteristik sumber informasi menjadi 2 faktor yang dianggap paling mempengaruhi perilaku pencarian informasi yang dilakukan oleh siswa. Dipaparkan juga hasil analisis mengenai perilaku pencarian informasi yang dilakukan oleh Siswa SMAN 2 Cimahi yang mencakup tipe perhatian pasif, pencarian pasif, pencarian aktif, dan pencarian berlanjut.

Abstract

The current development of technology and information has an effect   on the advancement of learning media innovation. One of them is the digital-based flipbook innovation. This research was conducted in an effort to utilize flipbook media in digital form to improve visual literacy of grade 4 elementary school students. The method used is quantitative method. Subjects in this study were students at SD Negeri 1 Abdi Negara. To obtain research data used a survey by filling out a questionnaire. Based on these data, it was found that students were easy to use digital flipbooks, easy to read the text, understood the material presented, felt interested and fun when using digital based flipbooks, and understood the material that was being tested. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be said that this digital-based flipbook can be used as a learning media.
