Abstract

Membaca dan memahami Al-Quran hukumnya wajib bagi umat islam karena Al-Quran merupakan pedoman hidup bagi manusia. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam rangka untuk mencari tahu akselerasi program literasi Al-Quran dalam meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam membaca Al-Quran. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMAS Budi Agung Medan yang berlokasi di Jl. Platina Raya No. 07, Rengas Pulau, Kec. Medan Marelan, Kota Medan Sumatera Utara menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Data yang dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan analisis dokumentasi. Temuan analisis menunjukkan bahwa program literasi Al-Quran dapat meningkatkan kemampuan siswa membaca Al-Quran. Pola yang diterapkan dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa membaca Al-Quran secara beramai-ramai di lapangan sekolah selama 30 menit. Bantuan penuh yang diberikan oleh seluruh warga sekolah yang meliputi kepala sekolah, pendidik, staf, pekerja, serta variabel pendukung luar yang berasal dari keadaan siswa itu sendiri, misalnya keluarga dalam melaksanakan latihan kemahiran Al-Quran.

Abstract

In the present era, there are numerous reports concerning the decline in students’ moral conduct. At SD Swasta Islam Ulun Nuha, there are also students who lack good moral values, albeit not dominating the students population. Thus, it is necessary for the school to find solutions to this problem. This research aims to elucidate: (1) The background for the emergence of the hadith and prayer memorization program, (2) The implementation of the hadith and prayer memorization program, (3) The supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation of the hadith and prayer memorization program. This study adopts the field research method and utilizes qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. The research findings indicate that: (1) The background for the emergence of the hadith and prayer memorization program stems from the existence of students with poor moral conduct, thus the program aims to shape noble moral conduct in students, (2) The implementation of the hadith and prayer memorization program involves imploying problem-based learning strategies and lecture methods to explain the meanings of the hadiths and prayers. In the practical aspect of memorization, students are guided by teachers, who initially recite the hadiths and prayers in fragments until they are recited in their entirety. Subsequently, they are memorizes collectively, (3) The supporting factors of the program include parental support and students’ anthuasiasm for memorization. The inhibiting factors of the program include variations in students’ potential for memorization and the diverse range of narrators, often leading to forgetfulness among students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui minat pedagang muslim terhadap lembaga pendidikan Islam. Lokasi penelitian ini adalah Desa Laut Dendang Kec. Percut Sei Tuan, Kab. Deli Serdang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif lapangan dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat pedagang muslim memiliki minat yang lebih besar terhadap lembaga pendidikan umum dibandingkan dengan lembaga pendidikan Islam. Adapun faktor penyebabnya adalah minat atau kemauan anak, faktor ekonomi, jarak tempuh dan kualitas lembaga pendidikan.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini ingin menguraikan ayat-ayat Al-Qur’an tentang potensi-potensi manusia untuk berpengetahuan. Dalan QS. An-Nahl ayat 78 dan QS. As-Sajdah ayat 7-9 mengandung beberapa potensi manusia agar berpengetahuan. Dari kedua surah tersebut dirangkum beberapa potensi diantaranya yaitu penglihatan, pendengaran, dan hati. Penglihatan digunakan untuk mengamati berbagai hal yang ada di alam semesta atas kebesaran Allah untuk dikaji agar menghasilkan pengetahuan, penglihatan tersebut juga berfungsi sebagai transformasi pengetahuan dalam proses belajar. Adapun pendengaran adalah indra untuk menyerap pembelajaran serta mendengarkan berbagai informasi untuk mendapatkan pengetahuan. Sedangkan hati sebagai penyaring informasi yang masuk melalui penglihatan dan pendengaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan studi kepustakaan atau dikenal sebagai library research. Studi pustaka merupakan pengumpulan data dengan mengandalkan berbagai literature seperti buku, jurnal, majalah, bahkan dokumen penelitian terdahulu yang relevan dengan judul yang dikaji. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu potensi yang dibberikan Allah Swt kepada manusia berupa pendengaran (telinga), penglihatan (mata) dan hati. Ketiga potensi tersebut juga menuntut agar dikembangkan sesuai dengan fungsinya masing-masing. Potensi-potensi tersebut berperan penting untuk menjadikan manusia mempunyai ilmu pengetahuan. Kata kunci: Potensi Berpengetahuan, QS. An-Nahl ayat 78, QS. As-Sajdah ayat 7-9. ABSTRACT This research wants to describe the verses of the Qur'an about human potentials to be knowledgeable. In QS. An-Nahl verse 78 and QS. As-Sajdah verses 7-9 contain several human potentials to be knowledgeable. From the two surahs, several potentials are summarized including sight, hearing, and heart. Vision is used to observe various things that exist in the universe for the greatness of Allah to be studied in order to produce knowledge, this vision also functions as a transformation of knowledge in the learning process. Meanwhile, hearing is the sense for absorbing learning and listening to various information to gain knowledge. Meanwhile, the liver acts as a filter for information that enters through sight and hearing. This research uses library research or known as library research. Literature study is data collection by relying on various literature such as books, journals, magazines, even previous research documents that are relevant to the title being studied. The results of this study are the potential given by Allah SWT to humans in the form of hearing (ears), sight (eyes) and heart. The three potentials also demand that they be developed according to their respective functions. These potentials play an important role in making humans have knowledge. Abstract

For adults, the problem in reading the Qur'an is based on how to read the Qur'an and the appropriate method. This research focuses on learning to read the Qur'an for adults with the implementation of the Griya Al-Qur'an method in the taklim assembly. This research uses qualitative research methods with a phenomenological approach. This research was conducted at Taklim Council Masjid Umar bin Abdul Aziz Tembung. Through this research, it was found that the implementation of the Griya Al-Qur'an method in learning the Qur'an includes planning, implementing learning abbreviated as SUBUH (Salam, Repeat, Give, Test and Hamdalah), and evaluation in the form of oral and written tests. The obstacles to the implementation of the Griya Al-Qur'an method are internal obstacles that differ in ability and age factors. External barriers are related to activities, time and learning motivation. The solution to these obstacles is to straighten out sincere intentions, pray and make efforts before and after learning. The achievement of the Griya Al-Qur'an method based on the material is conditional, the number of participants who succeed in reading the Qur'an according to the rules and there is no punishment in learning.

Abstract

Writing scientific papers at tertiary institutions is an obligation for students who will complete their studies. Every student should have the ability to write scientific papers, but in reality there are still many students who have difficulties. This is due to the limited ability of students to access references, as happened to students in class !A Study Program PAI FITK UIN North Sumatra Medan. Publish or Perish one application that can help students in finding references. Therefore, this service activity is carried out with the aim of providing training to students to improve students' ability to make scientific papers through Publish or Perish. Training activities begin with students being given Google Form to know the usage history Publish or Perish. Then delivery of material with lectures, questions and answers, and practice. The last evaluation is that students are given Google Form to see the results of the training. The result of this training activity is that as many as 38 students have skills in using Publish or Perish out of a total of 49 students who attended the training. With details of 17 quite capable students, 17 capable students, and 4 very capable students. Thus, from 34 students who had never used Publish or Perish because they did not have skills, after the training the 34 students had skills in operating Publish or Perish. While 4 students who were previously able to use Publish or Perish with the training to be very capable in using it. Thus it can be concluded that, with the training Publish or Perish Students gain knowledge and have skills in operating it.

Abstract

The objective of this study was to examine the incorporation of research and community service into the learning process as a means of enhancing the attainment of outcome-based learning. The research was carried out at the Islamic Religious Education Study Programme, State Islamic University of North Sumatra, located in Medan. The research primarily centres around the implementation process, barriers encountered, and initiatives aimed at enhancing the proficiency of lecturers. The research informants comprised instructors and students who served as executors, as well as heads of faculties and study programmes who assumed managerial roles. The research employed a qualitative methodology utilising a case study technique. Gathering data through the utilisation of observation techniques, interviews, and documentation. The process of data analysis involved three key stages: data reduction, data display, and conclusion. The study findings elucidate that the incorporation of research and community service into learning manifests through learning methodologies, academic culture, lecture materials and references, media, and learning evaluation. The obstacles in implementation are to challenges in working with leaders, inadequate student facilities, and difficulty in disseminating student learning outcomes. To surmount these challenges, the leadership implemented various initiatives, including offering training, disseminating policies, and conducting supervision and monitoring.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the competence of Al-Qur'an Hadith teachers in increasing students' potential. The research method used is qualitative based on case studies with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation studies. The research results show that LPTQ extracurricular management includes planning in (a) implementation time, (b) types of activities, and (c) coaching methods. The implementation of LPTQ activities is organized by the Al-Qur'an Hadith teacher as the supervisor. Teacher competence in increasing student potential consists of pedagogical and personality competence. Teacher pedagogical competence includes understanding the knowledge of the Koran and methods of developing students. This competency is reflected in the teacher's understanding of the art of reading the Al-Qur'an and the use of methods such as singing poetry, memorizing, and tasmi which are adapted to the type of coaching. Apart from that, the teacher's wise, wise and mature personality is the basis for teachers to set a good example to students. Implementation of LPTQ activities includes various coaching such as syarhil Qur'an, fahmil Qur'an, tahfidz Qur'an, khattil Qur'an, and recitations of the Qur'an.

Abstract

Stunting is a problem that is found in many developing countries, especially in Indonesia. Stunting is a condition of failure to thrive in children caused by chronic malnutrition so that children are too short for their age and have a risk of intellectual decline and an increased risk of degenerative diseases in the future. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between maternal knowledge about child nutrition and the incidence of stunting in children aged 0-5 years in Kelambir Village. This study used correlation analytical design with cross sectional approach. The population in this study was all parents who had stunted children aged 0-5 years. The sample was obtained using random sampling, which was as many as 90 people. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire. The results showed that most respondents had good knowledge about stunting, which was 57 respondents (63.3%). There is a significant relationship between maternal knowledge about stunting and nutrition of children aged 0-5 years in Kelambir Village, Pantai Labu District in 2022. Suggestion: Health education is very important in order to increase maternal knowledge about stunting and the importance of knowing nutrition in children aged 0-5 years.

Abstract

In the current era, there are many teachers who have been allowed to teach in a school even though the teacher does not yet have one of the criteria as a  professional  teacher,  namely  having  a  diploma.  Therefore  researchers want to examine the professionalism of a teacher which is seen universally from existing schools. In this study, the method used is the method of meta- analysis. Meta-analysis research is a research method that involves collecting, processing, and presenting data in a systematic and objective manner. The purpose of this meta-analysis research is to examine the extent to which teacher competence refers to qualification and competency standards that have  been  established  based  on  Permendiknas No. 16  of 2007.
