Abstract

Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH) dikenal sebagai pembesaran prostat jinak, adalah suatu kondisi yang paling sering menyerang pria berusia empat puluh dan lima puluh tahun dengan ditandai pertumbuhan prostate yang sangat cepat yang dapat menyebabkan tertahannya pengeluaran urin. Faktor resiko yang mempengaruhi terjadinya BPH terdiri dari faktor yang dapat dimodifikasi mapupun yang tidak dapat dimodifikasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor apa sajakah yang yang berhubungan dengan kejadian BPH pada pasien rawat jalan di Poliklinik RS Pelni tahun 2022. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 96 orang. Analisis data menggunakan SPSS. Hasil analisa data diperoleh terdapat 51 % responden tidak memiliki riwayat keturunan, sebanyak 44,8 % usia responden berada pada rentang usia 46-55 th, 31,3 % responden tidak merokok, 52,1 % responden memiliki riwayat penyakit DM, 42,7 % responden memiliki resiko rendah konsumsi alkohol, dan 27,1 % responden mengalami disfungsi ereksi sedang. Dari hasil analisis uji regresi logistik didapatkan variabel yang paling dominan berhubungan dengan BPH adalah diabetes mellitus, dengan nilai OR yang paling besar yaitu 2,164. Hasil uji statistic didapatkan nilai p value 0,000 maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada hubungan yang signifikan antara riwayat DM dengan kejadian Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH).

Abstract

Stress is a condition or situation where physical and emotional responses will arise when the ability and needs of workers do not match the job requirements. Statistical data shows that there are 440,000 cases in the UK, with 1,380 cases experiencing work-related stress. In Indonesia, especially in the capital city of DKI Jakarta, it is estimated that around 1.33 million of the 9.5 million population of DKI Jakarta are estimated to experience stress due to work. According to the Indonesian Ministry of Health in 2021, the impact and consequences of work stress will have an impact in the short and long term. The approach in this study uses a cross-sectional approach. This research was conducted at several shipping companies in South Tangerang. This research was conducted in July 2022. Based on the results of the study, it was found that sleep quality had a significant relationship between work stress and sleep quality (p=0.026); social support, there is no significant relationship between work stress and social support (p=0.572); work fatigue, there is a significant relationship between work stress and work fatigue (p=0.000); workload on work stress, found a significant relationship between work stress and workload (p=0.038); the variable that has the most significant influence on determining work stress scores is the work fatigue variable.

Abstract

The prevalence of diabetes mellitus (age >15 years) is 1,8% and is increasing every year in Indonesia. Jali seeds (Coix lacryma-jobi L) are known to contain good dietary fiber for people with DM. One of the processed foods from jali seeds is tape. Therefore, tape jali can be used as an alternative snack food for patients with DM. The aim of this study was to determine the effect of fermentation time on the food fiber content, total sugar content, and organoleptic quality of jali tapes. This study was conducted using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) method. The organoleptic test was carried out in May 2023 by 30 semi-trained panelists from the Nutrition students of the Faculty of Medicine and Health, Muhammadiyah University, Jakarta. Tests for food fiber content and total sugar content were carried out at the PT Saraswanti Indo Genetech laboratory with one control factor, three treatments (48, 72, and 96 h fermentation), and five replications. Organoleptic tests included hedonic quality and liking (hedonic) tests using the questionnaire method, food fiber content tests using the enzymatic-gravimetric method, and total sugar content tests using the Luff Schoorl method. The Kruskal-Wallis and Mann-Whitney tests were used for data analysis. The results showed that there were differences in each sample for the quality of aroma, sour taste, sweetness, and texture (p <0,05), and the sample that was most liked by the panelists was TJ2. Laboratory test results showed that the sample with the highest fiber content and lowest total sugar content was TJ2, at 5,72% and 19,1%, respectively. In conclusion, fermentation time has an effect on the dietary fiber content, total sugar content, and organoleptic quality of jali tape.

Abstract

Background: The government's effort to overcome toddlers with malnutrition is by providing additional food through local food diversification. One form of alternative food that can be made is in the form of cereals made from local food, purple sweet potato flour, tempeh flour, and quail eggs; Objective: Knowing the formula, quality and hedonicity, and the nutritional content of cereals based on purple sweet potato flour, tempeh flour, and quail eggs as alternative food additives for undernourished toddlers;Method: The study used an experimental design. Consisting of three types of treatment, with a ratio of purple yam flou and tempeh flour, namely 50%: 50% (F1), 60%: 40% (F2), and 80%: 20% (F3). The best cereal formula was obtained through a hedonic test with semi-trained panelists, nutritional content test using proximate analysis;Results: The cereal formula chosen was F3 with 494 kcal of energy, 7.06 grams of protein, 23.78 grams of fat, 62.96 grams of carbohydrates, 4.25% water content, and 1.96 grams of ash content. 51 of 2016 and SNI 01-7111.2-2005 regarding nutritional supplementation product standards, the protein and fat content of cereals has not met the requirements while the energy, carbohydrate, water, and ash content have met the requirements; Conclusion: The cereal formulation chosen was F3 with a ratio of 80% purple sweet potato flour and 20% tempeh flour. It is necessary to improve the cereal formula so that it meets the quality requirements for complementary foods for toddlers.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Background: Anemia is a condition of red blood cells or commonly called hemoglobin is below normal. World Health Organization (WHO) is in the range of 40-80% and as many as 57% of them are suffered by adolescent girls.  Southeast Asia is the region with the highest prevalence of anemia at 42%. The incidence of anemia in women of childbearing age in Indonesia in 2019 reached 30.6% and the prevalence of anemia in adolescent girls was 32%, the majority of adolescents who experienced anemia were in the age range of 10 - 18 years. In West Java the incidence of anemia reached 41.5%.. Objective: The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors associated with the incidence of anemia among adolescent girls of private high schools in the sentul puskesmas working area, Bogor district. Method: Quantitative research with Cross Sectional design. 125 samples. The sampling technique used Purposive Sampling. research using the sample formula with hypothesis testing 2 population proportions. Result: 45.6% of adolescent girls were anemic, 50 (56.8%) of adolescent girls were not compliant with taking Fe anemia tablets, 36 (59.0%) rarely consumed iron-source food intake, 30 (48.8%) rarely consumed iron-blocking food/drink intake, 38 (51.4%) were undernourished, 44 (46.3%) of adolescent girls had good knowledge of anemia, 10 (52.6%) had a history of infection, 29 (43.9%) had normal menstrual cycles, 45 (47.4%) had normal menstrual duration, 3 (60.0%) had abnormal menarche and anemia. There is a relationship between adherence to taking Fe tablets, dietary intake of iron sources and nutritional status. Conclusion: The dominant factor causing anemia in adolescent girls is adherence to taking Fe tablets p=0.000; OR (95% CI) =5.869 (2.217 - 15.535). Keywords: Anemia, adolescent girls, Fe tablets.   ABSTRAK Latar belakang: Anemia remaja putri menyebabkan perkembangan fisik dan psikis yang terganggu, penurunan kerja fisik dan daya pendapatan, penurunan daya tahan terhadap kelelahan, peningkatan angka kesakitan dan kematian. Tujuan: Untuk menganalisis determinan kejadian anemia remaja putri Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) swasta di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Sentul Kabupaten Bogor. Metode: Penelitian dengan desain Cross Sectional, dilakukan pada 125 remaja putri di tiga SMA swasta wilayah kerja Puskesmas Sentul, Bogor pada Bulan Januari-Maret 2023. Sampel dihitung dengan rumus uji hipotesis 2 proporsi populasi dengan teknik Purposive Sampling. Anemia diukur dengan pemeriksaan hemoglobin menggunakan alat easy touch GCHB. Analisis data menggunakan uji regresi logistik berganda dengan SPSS Versi 20. Hasil: Dari 125 remaja putri terdapat hampir separuh (45,6%) remaja putri mengalami anemia, 56,8% remaja putri tidak patuh mengkonsumsi tablet Fe. Faktor dominan yang berhubungan secara bermakna terhadap kejadian anemia adalah kepatuhan minum tablet Fe (P-value =0.000; OR=5.63 (2,23-14,21)). Faktor lainnya yaitu asupan makanan sumber zat besi (P-value=0,003; OR=2,94 (1,42-6,11)) Sedangkan faktor lainnya tidak berhubungan dengan anemia (P-value >0,05) Kesimpulan: Remaja putri yang tidak patuh mengkonsumsi tablet Fe lebih berisiko 5,63 untuk mengalami anemia dibandingkan remaja putri yang patuh mengkonsumsi tablet Fe. Untuk meningkatkan kepatuhan konsumsi tablet Fe pada remaja putri diperlukan sosialisasi kembali aplikasi “Ceria” yang digunakan dalam pemantauan kepatuhan konsumsi tablet Fe. Abstract

ABSTRACT Background: The COVID-19 pandemic increases the risk of maternal mortality. Food safety practices are one of the essential measures to prevent COVID-19 exposure in pregnant women. Objective: To analyze sociodemographic factors and pregnant women's knowledge regarding food safety practices amid the COVID-19 pandemic in urban and rural areas. Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted from June to August 2021, involving 477 pregnant women selected through random sampling in urban (Kota Bekasi) and rural (Kabupaten Bekasi), West Java. Sociodemographic factors and knowledge related to food safety practices were assessed using a structured questionnaire, with data analyzed via independent t-test and ANOVA. Results: The findings reveal that most pregnant women exhibited reasonably good food safety knowledge, with 94.2% in urban and 90.7% in rural areas. They also displayed good food safety practices, with urban areas averaging 83.81±10.46 SD and rural areas averaging 82.66±10.21 SD. Urban regions showed a positive correlation between maternal knowledge and food safety practices, while rural areas highlighted significant influences from maternal education, family income, and knowledge. Conclusion: A strong grasp of food safety leads to improved food safety practices. We recommend enhancing knowledge and offering food safety training, alongside improving educational access and economic opportunities in rural areas. Keywords: Knowledge, practices, food safety, pregnant women, COVID-19 pandemic.   ABSTRAK Latar belakang: Pandemi COVID-19 meningkatkan risiko kematian pada ibu hamil. Praktik keamanan pangan merupakan salah satu upaya penting dalam mencegah paparan COVID-19 pada ibu hamil. Tujuan: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis faktor sosiodemografi dan pengetahuan ibu hamil terkait praktik keamanan pangan selama pandemi COVID-19 di wilayah perkotaan dan perdesaan. Metode: Penelitian cross-sectional dilakukan pada Juni-Agustus 2021 dengan 477 ibu hamil yang dipilih menggunakan teknik random sampling serta memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi di perkotaan (Kota Bekasi) dan perdesaan (Kabupaten Bekasi), Jawa Barat. Data karakteristik sosiodemografi, pengetahuan, dan praktik keamanan pangan dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner terstruktur dan dianalisis menggunakan uji t independen dan ANOVA. Hasil: Mayoritas ibu hamil memiliki pengetahuan keamanan pangan cukup baik mencapai 94,2% di perkotaan dan 90,7% di perdesaan. Penerapan praktik keamanan pangan yang baik, dengan nilai rata-rata mencapai 83,81±10,46 SD di perkotaan dan 82,66±10,21 SD di perdesaan. Di perkotaan, terdapat korelasi positif antarapengetahuan ibu hamil dan praktik keamanan pangan. Sementara di perdesaan, pendidikan ibu, pendapatan keluarga, dan pengetahuan ibu hamil mempengaruhi praktik keamanan pangan secara signifikan. Kesimpulan: Pemahaman yang baik tentang keamanan pangan menghasilkan praktik keamanan pangan yang baik. Kami merekomendasikan peningkatan pengetahuan dan pelatihan praktik keamanan pangan, serta peningkatan akses pendidikan dan peluang ekonomi di perdesaan. Abstract

Pregnant women are a risk group for exposure to infectious diseases, especially COVID-19. The study aimed to analyze the relationship between knowledge and compliance with health protocols for preventing COVID-19 in pregnant women in urban and rural areas in West Province, Indonesia. A cross-sectional design on 414 pregnant women in Bekasi Regency representing urban, and Bekasi City representing rural West Java Province in May-July 2021. The sample was selected by random sampling technique. Data were taken through direct interviews using a questionnaire and analyzed using bivariate analysis with SPSS Version 22.0. Pregnant women who comply with health protocols for preventing COVID-19 in urban and rural areas are 91.8% and 89.4%, respectively. Pregnant women who have good knowledge about the prevention of COVID-19 disease in urban and rural areas are 54.1% and 60.4%, respectively. Knowledge is related to the compliance of pregnant women in urban areas (p=0.020; OR:0.23; 95% CI:0.06-0.82). Whereas in rural areas, knowledge is not related to the compliance of pregnant women (p more than 0.05). Socialization regarding the importance of complying with health protocols still needs to be carried out to prevent exposure to infectious diseases, especially COVID-19.Abstrak: Ibu hamil merupakan kelompok berisiko untuk terpapar penyakit infeksi terutama COVID-19. Tujuan penelitian adalah menganalisis hubungan pengetahuan terhadap kepatuhan protokol kesehatan pencegahan COVID-19 pada ibu hamil di wilayah urban dan rural di Provinsi Jawa Barat, Indonesia. Desain cross-sectional dilakukan pada 414 ibu hamil di Kabupaten Bekasi mewakili wilayah urban, dan Kota Bekasi mewakili wilayah rural Provinsi Jawa Barat pada Mei-Juli 2021. Sampel dipilih dengan teknik random sampling. Data diambil melalui wawancara langsung menggunakan kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan analisis bivariat dengan SPSS Versi 22.0. Ibu haml yang patuh terhadap protokol kesehatan untuk pencegahan COVID-19 di wilayah urban dan rural yaitu 91.8%, dan 89.4%, secara berurutan. Sedangkan ibu hamil yang memiliki pengetahuan yang baik mengenai pencegahan terhadap penyakit COVID-19 di wilayah urban dan rural yaitu 54.1% dan 60.4%, secara berurutan. Pengetahuan berhubungan dengan kepatuhan ibu hamil di urban (p=0.020; OR:0.23; 95% CI:0.06-0.82). Sedangkan di wilayah rural, pengetahuan tidak berhubungan dengan kepatuhan ibu hamil (p0.05). Sosialisasi mengenai pentingnya kepatuhan protokol kesehatan tetap perlu dilakukan untuk mencegah paparan penyakit infeksi khususnya COVID-19.

Abstract

According to 2019 World Health Organization (WHO) data, the Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) in developing countries associated with anemia in pregnancy due to iron deficiency is 44.3%. One of the most common causes of pregnancy is iron deficiency. This study aims to determine the relationship between compliance to the consumption of Fe tablets in third-trimester pregnant women with knowledge, attitudes, motivation, frequency of ANC, family support, and the role of health workers. This study uses a quantitative method with a cross-sectional approach. Sampling by purposive sampling. The population in this study amounted to 100 respondents. Data collection was collected by distributing printed questionnaires to pregnant women. The research instrument consisted of a questionnaire about the compliance of pregnant women in consuming iron tablets, knowledge, motivation, attitudes, frequency of ANC, family support, and the role of health workers. The results showed that there was a relationship between pregnant women's compliance with knowledge of p-value (0.000), motivation (0.000), attitude (0.000), ANC frequency p-value (0.011), family support (0.002), and the role of health workers (0.000). There is still a lack of compliance among pregnant women in consuming iron tablets at Pasar Kemis Community Health Center, Tangerang Regency as many as 41 people (41.0%).Abstrak: Menurut data World Health Organization (WHO) 2019, Angka Kematian Ibu (AKI) di Negara berkembang yang terkait oleh anemia pada kehamilan dikarenakan difisiensi zat besi sebesar 44,3%. Penyebab paling umum dari kehamilan salah satunya adalah kekurangan zat besi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan kepatuhan konsumsi tablet fe pada ibu hamil trimester III dengan pengetahua, sikap, motivasi, frekuensi ANC, dukungan keluarga dan peran tenaga kesehatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantiatif dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Pengambilan sampel dengan purposive sampling. Populasi pada penelitian ini berjumlah 100 responden. Pengumpulan data dikumpulkan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner cetak kepada ibu hamil. Instrumen penelitian terdiri dari kuesioner tentang kepatuhan ibu hamil dalam mengkonsumsi tablet besi, pengetahuan, motivasi, sikap, frekuensi ANC, dukungan keluarga dan peran tenaga kesehatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara kepatuhan Ibu hamil dengan pengetahuan p-value (0,000), motivasi (0,000), sikap (0,000, frekuensi ANC p-value (0,011), dukungan keluarga (0,002) dan peran tenaga kesehatan (0,000). Masih kurangnya kepatuhan ibu hamil dalam mengkonsumsi tablet besi di Puskesmas Pasar Kemis Kabupaten Tangerang sebanyak 41 orang (41,0%).

Abstract

In the 2023 Kedaireka matching fund grant activity with the title pimproving the quality and market diversification of honey bee and herbal based products Scheme Downstreaming innovation from research results for commercialization purposes, innovation has been carried out in the production of herbal propolis mouthwash. In the herbal propolis mouthwash innovation, a formula was combined on the function of propolis and the results of betel leaf extraction for a non-alcoholic mouthwash formula. The prototype of this mouthwash has received a distribution permit from BPOM NA with number NA 18231400102 using the Prolizama brand. This activity is a collaboration between Universitas Muhammadiyah Jakarta and partner CV Madu Apiari Mutiara in Depok, West Java, Indonesia. In this activity, the activities carried out include making prototypes, testing, packaging design, processing BPOM NA distribution permit certification, limited scale production, optimizing online marketing via the website and making a business plan for the UMJ and CV Madu Apiari Mutiara agreement, Madu Apiari Mutiara. Innovation Herbal propolis mouthwash with natural composition, high antioxidant and anti-inflammatory in combination with propolis and betel herbs. In achieving a price competitive product, it is hoped that it will be a substitute for propolis mouthwash imported from Japan without expensive herbs. This formula is being patented. The production of herbal propolis mouthwash is expected to increase partner income. In the implementation of independent learning, the MKBM independent campus is the fulfillment of IKU 2, Students Gain Experience Outside Campus, IKU 3, namely Lecturers Doing Activities Outside Campus and IKU 5, Lecturers' Work Results are Used by the Community. The Depok City Regional Government and the community will have superior products, herbal jelly candy and herbal propolis mouthwash that are healthy and halal. A significant impact for UMJ is an increase in the entrepreneurial atmosphere for lecturers and students.

Abstract

Selama pandemi Covid-19, pembatasan kegiatan di luar rumah memungkinkan terjadinya perubahan pola makan dan aktivitas mahasiswa yang pada akhirnya akan memengaruhi status gizi dan keteraturan siklus menstruasi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menganalisis hubungan kebiasaan makan junk food dan status gizi dengan siklus menstruasi mahasiswi di masa pandemi Covid-19. Desain penelitian yaitu cross sectional study dengan 107 orang mahasiswi Prodi Sarjana Gizi FKK UMJ sebagai subjek penelitian. Instrumen penelitian dalam pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner terstruktur berupa kuesioner online (google form), disusun oleh peneliti mengacu pada Pedoman Gizi Seimbang. Kebiasaan makan junk food diukur menggunakan food frequency questionnaire (FFQ). Status gizi diukur dengan indikator Indeks Massa Tubuh (IMT). Analisis data menggunakan chi-square dengan nilai p < 0.05. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu siklus menstruasi responden umumnya (78.5%) tergolong dalam kategori teratur. Mayoritas responden (84.1%) memiliki kebiasaan makan junk food dalam kategori sering. Sebagian besar responden memiliki status gizi yang normal (82.2%). Tidak terdapat hubungan antara kebiasaan makan junk food dan status gizi dengan siklus menstruasi.
