Abstract

This article discusses the curriculum content based on wasathiyah (moderation) in Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) College. This study uses a qualitative research approach, relying on documentation, observation, and surveys. The research identifies the content of wasathiyah values in the PAI Unisnu Jepara’s curriculum and explains values are internalized in the teaching process. The study finds that the content of wasathiyah values supporting the university curriculum includes tolerance (tasamuh), democracy (syura), peace (islah), nationalism (muwathanah), moderation (tawassuth), and respect for tradition and culture (i'tiraf bi al-'urf). These values are instilled through the use of cooperative learning methods. The results is confirm that NU, as a representation of moderate Muslim organizations in Indonesia, prioritizes the principle of religious moderation. NU has resolved the relationship between religion and the state. By adhering to the principle of muwathanah, Indonesia, based on Pancasila, is final and cannot be replaced by any other ideology, including Islamism. This study has important implications for education and Indonesian society. Wasathiyah-based education can help promote the formation of tolerant, democratic, peaceful, nationalist, moderate, and respectful characters. In addition, wasathiyah education can strengthen Indonesia as a country based on Pancasila and prevent society from radicalism

Abstract

Religion and culture are two important elements in society that influence each other. Even though both have their respective fundamental values, Islam as a religion with tradition as culture in Nusantara can acculturate and come into direct contact in harmony. The Barikan tradition showed that there is a fairly close relationship between religion and local culture. The tradition, which initially aims to pray for ancestral spirits, has since been considered an obligation by the people of Manyargading Village. Through this tradition, they believe that they will get blessings, peace, security, and get an abundant fortune. The Barikan tradition is a representation of Javanese culture that stores the values of Islamic education. They are the values of faith, worship, community, local Islamic history, morals, and da'wah. Agama dan budaya merupakan dua unsur penting dalam masyarakat yang saling mempengaruhi. Walaupun memiliki nilai fundamental masing-masing, Islam sebagai agama dengan tradisi sebagai budaya di Nusantara, mampu berakulturasi dan bersentuhan secara langsung dengan harmonis. Tradisi Barikan menunjukkan adanya perkawinan antara agama dengan budaya lokal yang cukup erat. Tradisi yang awalnya bertujuan untuk mendoakan arwah leluhur, pada perkembangan selanjutnya sudah dianggap sebagai kewajiban oleh masyarakat Desa Manyargading. Melalui tradisi ini, mereka percaya akan mendapatkan keberkahan, ketenteraman, keamanan, dan memperoleh rejeki yang melimpah. Tradisi Barikan menjadi salah satu representasi budaya Jawa yang menyimpan nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam. Di antaranya ialah nilai aqidah, ibadah, kemasyarakatan, sejarah Islam lokal, moral, dan dakwah.

Abstract

While numerous studies have examined how digital media mediate religious expression, few have addressed how online platforms actively reshape Islamic solidarity while generating new forms of social stratification. Existing literature often highlights da’wah or online communities in general, but rarely connects algorithmic logics, visual aesthetics, and performative religiosity to the transformation of the ummah. This article fills that gap by analyzing hijrah communities, Muslim influencers, and visual Islamic preaching on Instagram and TikTok. Employing qualitative digital ethnography and drawing on Bourdieu’s concepts of habitus, field, and symbolic capital, the study shows that Islamic solidarity is increasingly segmented by algorithmic visibility, symbolic capital, and performative piety. Three key findings emerge: first, solidarity is filtered by digital literacy and visual conformity; second, performative religiosity supplants communal substance; and third, algorithmic logic reinforces symbolic exclusion. The article contributes to debates on Islamic identity, digital religiosity, and representation politics, advocating for more inclusive and ethical digital Islamic spaces.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran pendidikan agama Islam dalam membangun kesadaran moral pada Generasi Alpha di SDN 1 Dongos. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Untuk memperoleh data yang relevan, peneliti menggunakan data primer dan sekunder, yang dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan diskusi kelompok. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan agama Islam, terutama melalui penerapan metode interaktif, secara signifikan meningkatkan kesadaran moral siswa. Selain itu, keterlibatan orang tua juga memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan dalam mendukung pembentukan karakter anak. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi terhadap pemahaman mengenai pentingnya peran pendidikan agama Islam dalam membentuk karakter moral Generasi Alpha di tengah kompleksitas lingkungan digital saat ini.

Abstract

Islamic boarding school education today faces the challenge of balancing the traditional salaf approach, which emphasizes mastery of classical religious texts, with the khalaf approach, which focuses on formal education, modern knowledge, and digital skills. This study aimed to analyze the implementation of the integration of these two educational models at Pondok Pesantren Roudlotul Mubtadiin Balekambang and to evaluate its relevance in the Society 5.0 era. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach, using in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation, which it involved the pesantren's caretaker, head of the madrasah, teachers, daily administrators, and students from various educational levels. The findings indicated that the pesantren successfully integrated both approaches through a unified curriculum combining traditional values and modern knowledge, innovative technology-based learning, and the strengthening of students' character through formal diniyah education and extracurricular activities. This integration model enables students to master both religious knowledge and digital skills without losing their cultural identity, preparing a generation that is morally upright, adaptive, and globally competitive. These findings served as an important reference for transforming pesantren education to remain relevant in the face of contemporary challenges.

Abstract

Low efforts and difficulties of teachers in motivating students to learn to understand the material, as well as the lack of optimal use of approaches. There are several approaches to creating a creative and interactive classroom atmosphere, namely with differentiated learning. This study aims to explain the application of differentiated learning in fiqh, especially on the material of halal and haram laws in class VI SDN 3 Mantingan Jepara, explain the impact of differentiated learning, and identify the supporters and obstacles of differentiated learning. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research type. Information is obtained from various sources of evidence from interviews, observations, and documentation. After that, the data is reduced, presented, and concluded. The results of the study explain that the differentiation of content, process, product, and learning environment is part of the application of differentiated learning at SDN 3 Mantingan Jepara. Then the impact of the application of differentiated learning in class VI is very effective in improving understanding of the material from student learning outcomes. Finally, the supporting factors of differentiated learning at SDN 3 Mantingan already have facilities such as laptops and projectors for differentiated learning with audio and visual characteristics. In addition, there are obstacles, namely inadequate facilities from the school, so teachers must try to bring projectors and laptops from the office to class, not to mention installing the equipment, and this can take up teaching time.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi yang pesat di era society 5.0 menuntut dunia pendidikan, termasuk madrasah diniyah, untuk melakukan penyesuaian kurikulum agar tetap relevan dengan kebutuhan zaman. Society 5.0 menekankan integrasi antara teknologi dan kehidupan sosial, sehingga madrasah perlu menyeimbangkan antara pendidikan keislaman dengan literasi digital dan keterampilan abad ke-21. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis relevansi penerapan kurikulum Madrasah Diniyah dalam menjawab tantangan era society 5.0, khususnya di Madrasah Diniyah Tarbiyatul Qur’an Ngasem Batealit Jepara. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi terhadap struktur kurikulum, materi ajar, serta pendekatan pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kurikulum Madrasah Diniyah Tarbiyatul Qur’an telah mulai mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai keislaman dengan pengembangan karakter, keterampilan berpikir kritis, literasi digital, serta pemanfaatan teknologi dalam pembelajaran. Meskipun masih menghadapi tantangan seperti keterbatasan infrastruktur dan kesiapan SDM, madrasah ini menunjukkan upaya adaptif dalam menyelaraskan pendidikan agama dengan tuntutan era digital, demi mencetak generasi yang religius, berkarakter, dan kompetitif secara global.

Abstract

This paper discusses the influence of educational technology on the learning methods of Aqidah Akhlak with a case study in class VIII A MTs. Al-Isro' Batealit Jepara in the Society 5.0 era. It is an era where society is highly connected to technology. The research in this paper aims to investigate the impact on students and educators. The research uses a descriptive qualitative method with observation, interviews, and document analysis as data collection techniques. The research findings show that educational technology has made access to various sources of information related to moral beliefs easier and faster. It resulted in more interactive learning methods with online discussions and forums and provided opportunities for students to participate actively. However, it is essential to exercise caution and ensure careful supervision in the use of educational technology to prevent students from being exposed to inappropriate content that might be inconsistent with religious values and morals. The research in this paper highlights the importance of emphasizing moral and ethical values in the learning process, even in the era of highly connected technology. In addition, the valuable insights on educators can optimize educational technology to improve students' religious understanding and practice.

Abstract

Budidaya bandeng (Chanos chanos) di tambak tradisional menghadapi tantangan ekologis yang berdampak pada produktivitas. Mitra kegiatan, kelompok tambak Cemara Indah di Desa Clering, mengalami masalah utama berupa kepadatan tinggi udang rebon (Acetes sp.) akibat sistem filtrasi air yang kurang memadai. Udang rebon berperan sebagai kompetitor dalam memanfaatkan pakan alami sehingga menekan pertumbuhan bandeng. Keberadaan hama kerang semakin memperburuk kondisi lingkungan dengan meningkatkan sedimentasi dan menurunkan kualitas dasar tambak. Di sisi lain, harga pakan komersial yang tinggi menjadi kendala tambahan bagi petambak tradisional. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan menganalisis faktor-faktor penghambat tersebut serta merumuskan strategi pengendalian yang efektif. Metode yang digunakan meliputi survei lapangan, identifikasi organisme pengganggu, pengukuran parameter kualitas air, eksperimen pemeliharaan, serta wawancara dengan mitra. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa tingginya populasi udang rebon berbanding lurus dengan rendahnya laju pertumbuhan bandeng, sementara hama kerang menambah tekanan ekologis. Strategi pengendalian yang diterapkan berupa pemasangan filter alami pada saluran pemasukan air, penerapan bioflok sederhana, dan pemanfaatan pakan alternatif berbasis bahan lokal. Intervensi tersebut terbukti mampu menekan biaya produksi sekaligus meningkatkan hasil panen. Dengan demikian, kegiatan ini menegaskan pentingnya pendekatan ekologis dan ekonomis untuk mendukung keberlanjutan tambak bandeng tradisional.

Abstract

Krisis lingkungan yang semakin nyata menuntut pembentukan kesadaran ekologis yang berpijak pada nilai-nilai agama. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan bagaimana guru Akidah Akhlak di MTs. Maftahul Falah Sinanggul Mlonggo Jepara mengintegrasikan nilai ekoteologi dalam pembelajaran serta mengidentifikasi faktor yang mendukung dan menghambat pelaksanaannya. Pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi kasus digunakan, melibatkan guru, siswa, dan kepala sekolah, dengan data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis secara sistematis. Temuan menunjukkan integrasi ekoteologi diterapkan melalui pengaitan materi dengan tanggung jawab ekologis, praktik langsung di sekolah, dan refleksi peserta didik. Faktor pendukung mencakup motivasi siswa, relevansi materi, kegiatan praktik, dan dukungan sekolah, sementara kendala meliputi keterbatasan fasilitas, rendahnya kesadaran siswa, resistensi pihak terkait, dan metode pembelajaran yang kurang inovatif. Kesimpulannya, pembelajaran Akidah Akhlak mampu menumbuhkan kesadaran ekologis yang berkelanjutan dan menegaskan peran penting guru serta kepala sekolah dalam implementasinya.
