Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the Tahfiz Qur'an program in creating a Qur'ani-based school culture at public junior high schools in North Aceh Regency. The Tahfiz Qur'an program is a strategic effort to foster religious character, noble morals, and Islamic insight among students amid the current moral challenges faced by young generations. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach using observation, interviews, and documentation techniques. The results indicate that the program is implemented through curriculum integration, daily and weekly scheduling, guidance by religious teachers and hafiz, as well as regular evaluations. Its impact is reflected in the formation of an Islamic school culture, shown by habits of reading the Qur'an, increased discipline, and Islamic values in social interactions. The challenges encountered include a shortage of qualified Tahfiz instructors, students’ varying memorization abilities, and time management issues. Solutions applied include teacher training, personal motivation approaches, and collaboration with Islamic boarding schools and parents. This program has proven effective in establishing a Qur'ani culture that is not merely symbolic but practically embedded in everyday school life.

Abstract

In the midst of rapid globalization, preserving local cultural values has become urgent in the world of education. This study aims to describe the principal's innovative strategy in local wisdom-based contextual learning through lipah fruit candy as a learning medium at SD Negeri 12 Samudera, North Aceh. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the principal implemented five main strategies: project-based curriculum application, collaboration with the local community, providing creative space for students, exhibitions and product marketing, and basic entrepreneurial training. This program positively impacts students' creativity, critical thinking skills, learning motivation, and nurtures entrepreneurial spirit. These findings serve as a reference for other schools to develop meaningful local wisdom-based education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) dalam pembelajaran di Sekolah Dasar Negeri 1 Bireuen berdasarkan kajian literatur dari berbagai sumber ilmiah terkini. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur kualitatif dengan mengumpulkan, menyeleksi, dan menganalisis artikel, jurnal, dan buku yang relevan mengenai konsep dan penerapan TPACK khususnya dalam konteks pendidikan dasar. Teknik analisis data dilakukan secara tematik melalui pengelompokan dan sintesis temuan dari berbagai sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi ketiga komponen utama TPACK — Content Knowledge, Pedagogical Knowledge, dan Technological Knowledge — sangat penting dalam meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran di sekolah dasar. Studi ini juga mengidentifikasi tantangan yang sering dihadapi guru dalam mengimplementasikan teknologi secara optimal dalam pembelajaran. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan bagi pengembangan strategi pembelajaran berbasis TPACK di SDN 1 Bireuen dan sekolah dasar lainnya.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the planning, implementation, supervision, and evaluation conducted by the school principal in collaboration with stakeholders in developing students' character at SMA IT Assalam Islamic School. This research employed a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The research subjects consisted of one principal and four teachers. Data collection techniques included interviews, observation, and documentation. The findings reveal that the principal has designed and implemented a collaborative strategy for character development, integrating values such as discipline, honesty, and diligence into both the curriculum and extracurricular activities. The principal also involved parents and the school committee in the execution and supervision of the program, and enforced fair disciplinary policies. While the majority of students demonstrated positive character development, challenges remain in maintaining consistent application of these values. Program evaluations were conducted regularly with stakeholders to improve effectiveness. These findings underscore the importance of synergy among all school elements in fostering sustainable student character development

Abstract

This study aims to investigate strategic planning, explore patterns of positive communication, identify technical guidance, and examine the supporting and inhibiting factors faced by the principal in improving the performance of school operators in managing the Education Primary Data (DAPODIK) at SMAN 1 Muara Batu. The research employs a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings indicate that strategic planning was carried out systematically and in a collaborative manner, involving school operators from the initial stages. The principal fostered positive communication through an open, empathetic, and dialogue-based approach, which helped establish a collaborative working environment. Technical guidance was provided through training, assistance, and structured supervision in the form of mentoring and coaching. Key supporting factors for the success of DAPODIK management include adequate infrastructure, flexible school policies, and inter-unit collaboration. However, several challenges were also identified, such as limited internet access, system-related technical issues, and the dual workload of school operators. Overall, the leadership strategies implemented by the principal positively impacted the competence and performance of school operators and can serve as a best practice model for digital-based education data governance in secondary education institutions

Abstract

This study aims to describe the management of learning at SMP Assalam Islamic School Jeunieb using the POAC approach (Planning, Organizing, Actuating, Controlling). The research employed a descriptive qualitative method, with data collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. The research subjects included the principal, vice principal for curriculum, and teachers. The results showed that in the planning stage, the school designed the learning process collaboratively and integratively between the national curriculum and the Islamic curriculum based on the dayah system. The principal, vice principal, and teachers were involved in developing integrative lesson plans (RPP), adjusting the morning tahfiz schedule, and identifying the necessary teaching components. In the organizing stage, the school established a clear organizational structure, assigned tasks according to teacher competencies, and ensured regular coordination. The management of learning facilities and infrastructure was carried out systematically and carefully by the education staff. The implementation stage combined modern and traditional methods such as lectures, discussions, sorogan, bandongan, and memorization. Teachers actively integrated general subject content with Islamic values to create meaningful and religious learning experiences. The supervision stage was carried out hierarchically, both internally by the principal and vice principal, and externally by supervisors from the education office and the dayah institution. Supervision included classroom observations, evaluation of teaching documents, and assessments of students’ academic and spiritual development. The findings indicate that the POAC approach can be effectively applied to manage integrated learning that combines two curricula. The study also resulted in a model of integrative learning management based on Islamic values in the context of Islamic boarding schools.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dampak dari penerapan sistem informasi manajemen dalam meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran di SMPN 19 Takengon. Metode penelitian ini adalah kualitatif. SIM bertujuan untuk memungkinkan para pelaksana pendidikan untuk menjalankan tugas mereka dengan baik dan benar. Selain itu, SIM juga dirancang untuk membantu pemimpin lembaga pendidikan dalam mengambil keputusan yang cepat dan tepat. Dengan bantuan SIM, para pengelola pendidikan dapat mengakses informasi yang relevan dan akurat mengenai berbagai aspek operasional dan administratif lembaga pendidikan, seperti data siswa, kegiatan pembelajaran, keuangan, sumber daya manusia, dan lain sebagainya. Dengan demikian, SIM memberikan dukungan yang sangat berharga bagi efektivitas dan efisiensi manajemen lembaga pendidikan, sehingga dapat meningkatkankualitas pendidikan yang diselenggarakan. Melalui SIMDIK, sekolah dapat 1) Mengoptimalkan pengelolaan data dan informasi, sehingga memudahkan penyampaian informasi serta mengurangi kesalahan-kesalahan dalam pengolahan data . 2) Guru dapat melacak kemajuan belajar siswa, menyusun rencana pembelajaran yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan individual siswa, melakukan penilaian pembelajaran, serta memantau tingkat kehadiran dan partisipasi siswa. 3) SIMDIK memungkinkan sekolah untuk menganalisis data secara lebih mendalam, yang dapat digunakan sebagai dasar untuk mengidentifikasi kelemahan dalam proses pembelajaran dan merancang strategi perbaikan yang sesuai.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strategic management of boarding school-based education in improving the quality of education at junior high schools in Central Aceh Regency. The research employs a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The subjects include school principals, teachers, and school committees at junior high schools implementing the boarding school system in Central Aceh Regency. The findings reveal that during the planning stage, schools involved various stakeholders, including committees and the community, and utilized SWOT analysis to design strategic programs tailored to the schools' needs. In the implementation stage, the integration of academic and character-building programs, such as Quran memorization, Arabic language learning, and extracurricular activities, effectively enhanced students' holistic competencies. Meanwhile, in the evaluation stage, principal-led supervision emphasizing transparency and accountability positively impacted teacher performance and the quality of educational programs. The study concludes that boarding school-based strategic management can improve education quality by integrating religious and locally relevant approaches suited to the community context. This model can be adopted by other schools to sustainably enhance educational quality.

Abstract

Sampah merupakan salah satu masalah lingkungan yang sangat besar di Indonesia. Berdasarkan data dari Badan Pusat Statistik 2014 (dalam Angga & Djunaidi, 2017) menunjukkan bahwa Indonesia menghasilkan sampah sekitar 187,2 juta ton / tahun dan menempati urutan kedua sebagai penghasil sampah terbesar di dunia. Sampah bukan hanya berasal dari rumah tangga tetapi juga dari lingkungan sekolah. Jika sampah ini dibiarkan, maka hal itu dapat menyebabkan penyakit. Banyaknya sampah ini juga disebabkan oleh ketidakpedulian masyarakat terhadap lingkungan. Oleh karena itu, membutuhkan strategi pengelolaan yang tepat, salah satunya melalui daur ulang. Pelatihan daur ulang sampah bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan mengatasi sampah plastik dan mengembangkan kreativitas guru Sekolah Dasar agar mampu mengolah sampah menjad media pembelajaran sekaligus modal bagi siswa untuk memehami pembelajaran dengan lebih mudah melalui pelatihan daur ulang sampah. Metode pelaksanaan mencakup pengamatan lingkungan, identifikasi masalah, penentuan kegiatan pengabdian, koordinasi kegiatan pengabdian dengan calon peserta, pelaksanaan pelatiha. Kegiatan pelatihan daur ulang sampah telah berhasil dan berjalan lancar, mampu mengembangkan kreativitas dan meningkatkan pengetahuan guru terkait pengelolaan sampah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengetahui pelaksanaan supervisi akademik berbasis coaching dalam peningkatan kinerja guru di SD Negeri 2 Matangkuli, (2) mengetahui tindak lanjut supervisi akademik berbasis coaching dalam memperbaiki kinerja guru, dan (3) mengetahui refleksi supervisi akademik berbasis coaching dalam mengembangkan strategi peningkatan kinerja guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan subjek kepala sekolah dan 14 guru bersertifikasi di SD Negeri 2 Matangkuli, Aceh Utara. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa supervisi akademik berbasis coaching membantu guru dengan menekankan kolaborasi, memungkinkan eksplorasi strategi pengajaran, memberikan umpan balik spesifik, meningkatkan kepercayaan diri, dan menekankan pembelajaran berpusat pada siswa. Tindak lanjut supervisi melibatkan penyusunan rencana tindakan spesifik dan terukur, serta refleksi membantu mengembangkan strategi peningkatan kinerja guru.
