Abstract

The digital era has transformed human lifestyles and demands rapid adaptation across various sectors, including Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). MSMEs play a strategic role in Indonesia’s economy as labor absorbers and developers of local products. However, limited digital literacy and skills often hinder their utilization of digital marketing. This community service program aims to enhance the capacity of the “Indah Donat” MSME in Bengkalis through guidance in implementing digital marketing strategies. The participatory approach includes initial surveys, needs assessment, development of a digital marketing framework, promotion via Google My Business, social media, and online marketplaces, as well as sustainability evaluation. The results show improved capabilities of the partner in managing digital content, expanding market reach, and increasing sales. “Indah Donat” now has an integrated online business profile, structured content calendar, and distribution channels through social media and marketplaces. This approach aligns with the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and modern marketing concepts based on Segmenting, Targeting, and Positioning (STP). In conclusion, the program effectively enhances MSME digital capacity, broadens marketing networks, and strengthens business independence, while contributing to digital transformation and local economic empowerment.

Abstract

Menurut Badan Pusat Statistik tahun 2021 mengatakan bahwa tingkat kejahatan pencurian pada tahun 2020 di Riau meningkat sebesar 2.730 kasus, oleh sebab itu kasus pencurian dirumah menjadi hal yang sangat sering terjadi. Penyebab terjadinya pencurian tersebut ialah karena banyaknya rumah yang memakai sistem kunci gembok tradisional yang bentuknya kecil. Terdapat banyak solusi yang telah dibuat oleh peneliti terdahulu seperti menggunakan sidik jari, password, sensor PIR, suara, retina dan lain-lain. Namun semua masih terdapat kekurangannya masing-masing. Untuk itu solusi yang diberikan ialah dengan membuat sistem keamanan pintu rumah berbasis face recognition. Face recognition sendiri ialah sebuah teknologi yang dapat mencocokkan wajah manusia dari citra digital atau cuplikan video melalui basis data wajah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah sistem mampu mengidentifikasi wajah pemilik rumah. Sistem berhasil mengirimkan informasi berupa foto, tag nama dan waktu pada aplikasi Bot Telegram grup yang di monitoring oleh anggota keluarga terkait seseorang yang masuk kedalam rumah. Sistem juga berhasil menampilkan pesan teks pada LCD 16x2 untuk memberikan info tag nama seseorang yang sedang mengakses kamera.

Abstract

Proses kegiatan dalam pengelolaan dokumen surat serta aktifitas perkantoran lain yang ada di KUD Sawit Jaya masih dilakukan secara manual. Dimana sekretaris akan mencatat setiap dokumen masuk maupun keluar kedalam buku agenda, kemudian sekretaris akan menggandakan dokumen tersebut untuk diserahkan kepada kepala dan dijadikan arsip. Mengingat sekretaris akan mendatangi ruangan kepala untuk menyerahkan dukumen dan meminta tanggapan yang kemungkinan kepala tidak berada ditempat sehingga surat masuk atau dokumen lainnya tidak mendapatkan respon dengan cepat. Solusi yang dilakukan untuk permasalahan ini yaitu dengan membuat sebuah sistem informasi e-office yang berbasis website yang dapat membantu proses penyimpanan dokumen dalam bentuk database dan setiap surat yang masuk akan lebih cepat mendapatkan tanggapan dari kepala sehingga tidak ada surat yang tidak mendapatkan respon. Dalam proses implementasi dilakukan dengan menggunakan bahasa pemograman PHP, phpMyAdmin untuk mengelola database di MySQL dan Framework Codeigniter 3

Abstract

Sales forecasting is a highly crucial strategy in the business world, as it significantly contributes to enhancing a company's profits. In this context, sales transaction forecasting plays a vital role in assisting business decision-makers in planning effective sales strategies. The utilization of the Holt-Winters Exponential Smoothing method in sales forecasting demonstrates an effective approach. In this study, this method was applied to retail sales data of Muslim clothing from 2021 to 2023. By setting the parameters ? = 0.9, ? = 0.1, and ? = 0.1, the forecasting results indicate a high level of accuracy with low values for Mean Squared Error (MSE), Root Mean Squared Error (RMSE), and Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE), amounting to 29.93, 295.93, and 0.62%, respectively. Consequently, the forecast reveals that the inventory of clothing for periods 13 to 16 is 83, 228, 129, and 115, respectively

Abstract

One important role in business operations is based on inventory, which is the underlying principle of business. Therefore, a business must be able to predict potential problems as well as potential traps in inventory management in order to the ultimate goal, namely to reduce the total cost to be borne by inventory. Pawon mas herman is one of the bakso shops in Pekanbaru that has been established since 1998. Pawon mas herman is experiencing a fairly rapid business expansion, but a lack of management system or methods to buy or collect raw materials, causes this restaurant to suffer from material shortages or even raw materials shortfalls during the hours of operation. To ensure the business continues from the production process and avoid stopping or collapse due to a shortage of raw materials namely meat and chicken, pawon masherman needs to have a proper plan. The Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method is used to help in solving problems in particular requirements related to the supply of raw materials. The result of this study is that by using the EOQ method, Pawon Mas Herman farm can save shipping costs up to Rs. 4,740,000. Because, based on the calculations completed using the eOQ technique, the owner of the farm must make meat orders every 7 days, weighing at least 7 kg of meat each time ordering. Pawon Mas Herman is advised to use the EOQ method for control of supplies, there is a significant cost difference.

Abstract

Increased demand and quality pressures are affecting businesses, as experienced by an Egg Laying Chicken Farming, a small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) Poultry Farm located in Salo Subdistrict, Kampar Regency, Riau Province. Previously, performance evaluations were solely based on monthly egg product sales. Therefore, this research aims to analyze the potential and constraints, and to prioritize strategies for business owners by comprehensively measuring business performance, thus allowing for the provision of suitable strategic recommendations. The measurement model is based on several indicators such as Productivity of Laying Hens, Effective Working Hours, Ratio of defect product, Equipment Productivity, and Productivity of Labor Involved, using the Objective Matrix (OMAX) method. The measurement results are analyzed using the Traffic Light System (TLS) to identify the ratio of indicators that fall below the standards set by the business owner, allowing for further analysis to obtain useful strategic recommendations for future productivity improvement.

Abstract

Pusat Pelatihan Mandiri Kelautan dan Perikanan (P2MKP) berada di bawah Kementerian Kelautan dan Perikanan Republik Indonesia, fokus pada pengembangan budidaya ikan baung. Sejak didirikan pada tahun 2011, P2MKP telah menjalankan program pelatihan bagi masyarakat, khususnya para pembudidaya ikan di Kabupaten Kampar, untuk meningkatkan keterampilan dalam teknologi budidaya yang berkelanjutan. Pengukuran kualitas air di P2MKP saat ini masih dilakukan secara manual menggunakan metode tradisional, seperti kertas indikator untuk mengukur pH, suhu, dan kejernihan air. Cara ini memerlukan waktu dan keahlian, sehingga rentan terhadap kesalahan interpretasi yang bisa mempengaruhi pengelolaan kolam. Untuk memperbaiki proses ini, program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat membuat sistem monitoring kualitas air berbasis IoT (Internet of Things). Sistem ini menggunakan sensor untuk memantau parameter penting seperti suhu, pH, dan kekeruhan air secara real-time. Data yang diperoleh akan diakses melalui aplikasi mobile atau dashboard berbasis web, sehingga petugas P2MKP dapat dengan mudah memantau kondisi air kapan saja. Inovasi ini dapat meningkatkan akurasi dan efisiensi dalam pengelolaan kolam pembibitan ikan baung.

Abstract

The Prototype for Detecting Drowsiness Levels based on Eye Aspect Ratio using the Orange Pi-based Facial Landmark Method is a tool that can detect users in three levels of drowsiness, namely normal, drowsiness, or asleep. This tool uses EAR threshold parameters and utilizes the facial landmark method to detect points on the eye. The test results showed that the prototype device was able to function well after undergoing tests on distance, camera angle, eye size, use of glasses and light intensity. At testing distances of 25 cm, 35 cm, 50 cm, 70 cm, 85 cm, 100 cm, 130 cm and 155 cm, the tool can detect the user's eyes according to conditions. However, in tests based on angles it was found that the tool could detect the user's eyes at angles of 90o, 80o and 70o, except at the 60o angle due to the limited viewing angle of the camera so the tool could not detect the condition of the user's eyes at that angle.

Abstract

Fruit waste poses significant environmental and socioeconomic challenges, particularly in agricultural countries such as Indonesia. This study presents the development of an integrated system to convert fruit biomass waste into bio-energy briquettes using a pyrolyzer, disc mill, cylindrical oven, and hydraulic press. Pyrolysis was conducted at 350–500°C under limited oxygen, producing solid carbon, bio-oil, and syngas. The carbonized material was then milled, sieved, dried, and compacted into high-density briquettes. Laboratory characterization using X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF), Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscopy with Energy Dispersive X-ray Spectroscopy (FESEM-EDS), and bomb calorimetry revealed a carbon content of approximately 82.5% and an average calorific value of 5,800 kcal/kg with a moisture content of 9.4%, indicating high energy potential and good mechanical stability. The system achieved a production capacity of 300–500 kg/day, making it suitable for small-scale, community-based renewable energy applications. The results confirm the technical feasibility and economic viability of the integrated system while supporting rural energy independence and local economic development. Future work should focus on system automation and exploring diverse biomass feedstocks for broader implementation.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has created new opportunities for strengthening local economies, especially in rural areas with unique commodity potentials. This study aims to develop a digital business strategy to enhance the local economy based on the catfish (ikan patin) commodity in Kampung Patin. The research employs a qualitative descriptive approach using SWOT analysis to identify internal and external factors that influence the digital transformation of local entrepreneurs. Data were collected through interviews, field observations, and documentation involving fish farmers, business owners, and local government representatives. The results of the SWOT analysis reveal that community solidarity and product quality are the main strengths, while weaknesses include limited digital literacy and marketing capacity. Opportunities arise from the growth of e-commerce platforms and government support for digitalization programs, whereas threats come from increasing market competition and technological gaps. The findings suggest that strengthening digital marketing capabilities, building a collective brand identity, and developing a local e-marketplace can enhance competitiveness and promote sustainable economic growth in Kampung Patin.
