Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi peran guru les privat Bahasa Inggris sebagai fasilitator dalam pendidikan luar sekolah di Bandar Khalipa, Medan. Dalam konteks ini, guru tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai pengajar, tetapi juga sebagai pembimbing yang membantu siswa memahami materi dengan lebih baik melalui pendekatan yang personal dan interaktif. Dengan adanya les privat, siswa mendapatkan waktu tambahan untuk belajar di luar jam sekolah, yang memungkinkan mereka untuk memperdalam pemahaman mereka terhadap Bahasa Inggris. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan wawancara dan observasi untuk mengumpulkan data dari guru dan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru les privat berperan penting dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa dan menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang mendukung. Selain itu, kolaborasi antara guru dan orang tua juga menjadi faktor kunci dalam keberhasilan proses pembelajaran di luar sekolah. Abstract

Jenis lapisan perkerasan lentur banyak digunakan adalah lapis perkerasan aspal beton. Sebagai lapisan permukaan jalan yang paling atas dan sering terpapar langsung oleh kendaraan, AC-WC sangat bergantung pada kualitas bahan pengisinya. Penggunaan bahan pengisi alternatif dapat menjadi solusi untuk meningkatkan kinerja keseluruhan campuran AC-WC. Semen Portland, dengan ukuran partikelnya yang sangat kecil, diperkirakan dapat meningkatkan kepadatan dan kekuatan campuran aspal. Berdasarkan pertimbangan ini, semen Portland akan dijadikan menjadi alternatif sebagai pengisi dalam campuran AC-WC pada penelitian ini. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh Semen Portland yang digunakan sebagai subtitusi filler pada campuran aspal beton (AC-WC) terhadap karakteristik Marshall, pengujian Indirect Tensile Strength (ITS), dan Durabilitas. Metode penelitian ini menerapakan metode eksperimen dengan menggunakan Kadar Aspal Optimum 5,8% dengan variasi kadar Semen Portland sebesar 0%, 0,5%, 1%, 1,5%, 2%, dan 2,5% dari total berat campuran. Diperoleh variasi kadar Semen Portland optimum yaitu 1%. Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemakaian Semen Portland sebagai filler yang ada di campuran AC-WC memberikan pengaruh meningkatkan nilai stabilitas terhadap karakteristik marshall, memiliki nilai kuat tarik tinggi yang membuat campuran tidak mudah mengalami keretakan dan dapat meningkatkan nilai durabilitas yang menandakan daya lekat yang bagus.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the financial performance of the PT. Panca Usaha Makmur in the years 2019–2021. The types of data used in the research are primary data and secondary data. This research uses a descriptive approach, i.e., a method performed by collecting, classifying, analyzing, and interpreting data related to the problem encountered and comparing the secondary information obtained with the actual situation in the company to draw conclusions. Based on the data analysis, the financial performance through the profitability ratio and the liquidity ratio at the P.T. Panca Usaha Makmur is very poor, where the value of each ratio is below the average. Return on assets in 2019 was 0.01%, in 2020 it was 0.046%, and in 2021 it was 0.036%. Return on equity in 2019 at 3.40%, in 2020 at 9.57%, and in 2021 at 5.88%. The current ratio in 2019 is 0.58%; in 2020, it is 0.51%; in 2021, it is 0.80%. Cash ratio was 0.49% in 2019, 0.35% in 2020, and 0.55% in 2021. This makes the company need to make improvements as well as improvements for the sustainability of good financial performance of the company.

Abstract

The Darul Muttaqin Mosque has encountered a phenomenon that has become a concern, namely the misuse of mosque facilities, particularly the use of the mosque as a sleeping area by some students. Although the mosque's primary purpose is for worship and religious activities, the phenomenon of students sleeping in the mosque has been occurring more frequently. This study aims to explore in depth the strategies employed by the management of the Darul Muttaqin Mosque to address the misuse of mosque facilities, specifically regarding the issue of sleeping in the mosque. The research employs a qualitative method with a descriptive approach, involving in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The theoretical framework used is Henry Mintzberg’s (1939) Strategic Management Theory. The findings indicate that mosque management faces challenges in maintaining the sanctity and primary function of the mosque as a place of worship. The misuse of mosque facilities, particularly the use of the mosque as a sleeping area, often occurs due to a lack of ethical awareness and discipline among visitors. Although the mosque management has made efforts to reprimand visitors sleeping in inappropriate areas, these efforts often fail to yield consistent results. Therefore, a more systematic and participatory approach is needed to address this issue.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of academic supervision in improving the professionalism of Guidance and Counseling (BK) teachers. Academic supervision is a strategic effort in developing the professional competence of BK teachers in schools. The research method used was a literature review, analyzing various sources related to academic supervision and the professionalism of BK teachers from 2017 to 2025. The results indicate that academic supervision, implemented systematically, planned, and continuously, can improve the pedagogical, professional, personal, and social competence of BK teachers. Effective academic supervision includes planning, implementation, evaluation, and follow-up, involving collaboration between supervisors and BK teachers. Good implementation of academic supervision will impact the quality of guidance and counseling services to students. The conclusion of this study confirms that academic supervision is an important instrument in improving the professionalism of BK teachers through continuous coaching, guidance, and competency development. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the rhetorical strategies employed in campaign banners of legislative candidates in the 2024 General Election in Pekanbaru City using the Aristotelian rhetorical framework of ethos, pathos, and logos. The study adopts a qualitative approach with a descriptive method based on textual analysis of the verbal and visual messages contained in campaign banners. Data were collected through stratified purposive sampling and analyzed to identify the forms, dominant tendencies, and implications of rhetorical strategy use in visual-based political campaigning. The findings indicate that ethos is the most dominant rhetorical strategy. Candidates’ credibility is constructed through the emphasis on personal identity, political track records, social and local affiliation, religious legitimacy, and narratives of integrity and leadership responsibility. Pathos functions as a supporting strategy manifested through political promises, personal and religious appeals, as well as creative humor to establish emotional closeness with voters. Meanwhile, logos appears in a limited and simplified form, primarily through references to technocratic capacity and institutional functions, indicating the existence of rational constraints inherent in campaign banners as static visual media. This study concludes that the ethos–pathos–logos hierarchy in campaign banners is contextual and shaped by media characteristics as well as the social configuration of the local community.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and evaluate the effectiveness of a web-based early childhood education (PAUD) administration and management information system through the application of the ADDIE model in improving the quality of educational services. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The research subjects include school principals, teachers, administrative staff, and parents of students. Data collection techniques are conducted through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The study results indicate that the web-based PAUD administration and management information system has the potential to be a feasible and effective medium in supporting administrative management, data processing, and information delivery in PAUD institutions. The implementation of this system also contributes to improving work efficiency and the quality of educational services. Thus, a web-based information system through the ADDIE model can become a solution in supporting.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of live streaming and content marketing on purchase intention of Paris Varisha hijab products on TikTok Shop among Generation Z in Bogor Regency. The rapid development of digital technology and the increasing use of social media, particularly TikTok, have significantly transformed consumer behavior in online shopping. This research employs a quantitative approach using a survey method by distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents categorized as Generation Z. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling based on specific criteria. Data analysis to examine the relationships between variables. The results indicate that both live streaming and content marketing have a positive effect on purchase intention, both partially and simultaneously. Live streaming enhances interactive experiences and builds consumer trust, while content marketing attracts attention through creative and relevant content. Therefore, the combination of these two strategies is effective in increasing consumer purchase intention on the TikTok Shop platform.

Abstract

Learning creativity is an essential aspect of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning, reflecting students' ability to generate new ideas, engage in active thinking, and develop contextual understanding of Islamic values. However, teacher-centered PAI instruction has left students' learning creativity underdeveloped, leaving students passive and lacking confidence. This study aims to examine the effect of teaching methods, learning motivation, and learning autonomy on the learning creativity of PAI students at MTs Al-Muttaqin, both partially and simultaneously. A quantitative correlational study with an ex post facto design was employed. The sample consisted of 70 female students from class X.5, selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using four Likert scales: teaching methods (α=0.702), learning motivation (α=0.830), learning autonomy (α=0.855), and learning creativity (α=0.733), all of which were valid (item-total r > 0.239; p<0.05), and were analyzed using Pearson Product Moment correlation and multiple regression. The results show that teaching methods (r=0.421), learning motivation (r=0.329), and learning autonomy (r=0.631) are positively and significantly related to learning creativity (p<0.05). Simultaneously, the three variables significantly affect learning creativity, contributing 47.3% (R²=0.473; F=19.762; p<0.05), with teaching methods as the strongest predictor. The study concludes that enhancing PAI learning creativity requires integrated strengthening of innovative teaching methods, learning motivation, and student learning autonomy, and offers a basis for designing more effective PAI learning strategies.
