Abstract

Latar Belakang: Masalah gangguan tidur dapat mengganggu pertumbuhan fisik, emosional, kognitif, dan sosial orang dewasa. Insomnia adalah salah satu gangguan tidur yang ditandai dengan kesulitan dalam memulai tidur, mempertahankan tidur, tidak menyegarkan selama 1 bulan atau lebih di mana keadaan sulit tidur ini harus menyebabkan gangguan klinis yang signifikan. Sebagian anak muda termasuk mahasiswa kedokteran mengkonsumsi kopi untuk meningkatkan semangat beraktivitas maupun mengerjakan tugas. Faktor lain yang dapat mempengaruhi yaitu penggunaan gadget dan stres. Dalam pandangan Islam, Allah-lah yang menciptakan manusia untuk beribadah kepada-Nya. Maka dari itu, manusia harus taat dan patuh terhadap perintah-Nya. Untuk menjaga kesehatan tubuh, umat muslim harus selalu berikhtiar dengan menjaga kecukupan makanan halal dan thayyib serta selalu bersyukur dan bertawakkal kepada Allah. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan 75 data sampel mahasiswa fakultas kedokteran Universitas YARSI Angkatan 2022 dengan desain penelitian cross sectional. Penetapan sampel menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Bahan penelitian yang digunakan berupa kuesinoer gabungan: Depression Anxiety Stres Scale, Insomnia Severity index, dan kuesioner yang menanyakan konsumsi kopi dan penggunaan gadget. Selanjutnya data akan dianalisis secara analitik menggunakan uji Fisher Exact. Hasil: Hasil penelitian didapatkan tidak ada hubungan konsumsi kopi dengan kejadian insomnia (p=0,528), tidak ada hubungan penggunaan gadget dengan kejadian insomnia (p=1,000), namun ada hubungan stres dengan kejadian insomnia (p=0,013). Kesimpulan: Terdapat hubungan antara stres dengan kejadian insomnia, namun tidak terdapat hubungan terhadap konsumsi kopi dan penggunaan gadget dengan kejadian insomnia pada mahasiswa fakultas kedokteran Universitas YARSI.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengeksplorasi pengaruh permainan bola kasti terhadap peningkatan partisipasi dan kolaborasi siswa dalam pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani di SMP Negeri 18 Banda Aceh. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan rancangan eksperimen semu yakni model One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Subyek hipotesis adalah 34 siswa kelas VII-1 yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, penyebaran angket, pretest, dan posttest untuk mengukur tingkat partisipasi dan kolaborasi siswa selama proses aktivitas. Metode statistik deskriptif dan inferensial digunakan untuk analisis data, dan uji-t berpasangan juga digunakan untuk mengatasi hasil penelitian yang diproses melalui SPSS versi 25. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan rata- rata signifikan yang diperoleh siswa sebelum dan sesudah metode kasti.

Abstract

        Many students in SMAN 8 Mandau faced difficulties in reading comprehension, particularly in identifying main ideas, locating specific information, and making inferences. Conventional teacher-centered methods, which relied heavily on explanation, limited student engagement and comprehension. To address this issue, this study investigated the effectiveness of the character quotes strategy in enhancing reading comprehension of narrative texts. A true-experimental design was employed with 11th-grade students (n = 395) across 11 classes. The experimental group received instruction using the character quotes strategy, while the control group was taught conventionally. A multiple-choice reading comprehension test served as the research instrument, and non-parametric tests (Wilcoxon Signed-Rank and Mann–Whitney U) were applied due to the data distribution. The findings revealed significant differences between the groups (Sig. [2-tailed] = 0.000 < 0.05), with the experimental group achieving higher post-test scores. These results suggest that integrating the character quotes strategy into reading instruction can significantly improve comprehension and foster greater learner engagement. The study highlights the pedagogical value of interactive strategies in EFL classrooms and provides implications for enhancing reading instruction in similar contexts.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to enhance the capacity of managing zakat, infaq, sadaqah, waqf, and social funds at Pondok Pesantren Al-Ihsan Riau. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive-participatory approach, in which the implementing team was directly involved in the mentoring process. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The research subjects included the pesantren leaders, zakat and waqf unit managers, senior students, and beneficiary communities.The results show that the mentoring activities improved the administrators’ understanding and skills in administration, transparency, and accountability of social fund management. In addition, the program encouraged the participation of students and the community in practicing professional management of funds oriented toward community empowerment. In conclusion, mentoring in the management of zakat, infaq, sadaqah, waqf, and social funds at the pesantren contributed positively to strengthening sustainable sharia financial governance and generated significant social impacts for the surrounding community.

Abstract

This article embarks on an extensive literature review to dissect the pivotal role of the World Trade Organization (WTO) in sculpting international relations and trade diplomacy. Recognizing the WTO as a cornerstone in global economic governance, the paper elucidates how this institution influences foreign policy strategies and fosters economic cooperation among nations. Through a meticulous analysis of scholarly articles, official WTO documents, and historical trade agreements, the study highlights the evolution of WTO's influence in steering international trade norms and resolving disputes. It underscores the dynamic interaction between WTO policies and national interests, mapping out how these interactions have shaped economic alliances and rivalries. The review further delves into the critical discourse surrounding WTO's efficacy and the challenges it faces in the modern geopolitical landscape, including emerging trade wars and protectionist trends. By weaving together different strands of academic thought, the paper aims to present a nuanced understanding of WTO's multifaceted impact on global trade dynamics and international diplomacy. The findings of this review are intended to inform policymakers, academicians, and trade practitioners about the intricate interplay of trade, diplomacy, and international relations within the ambit of the WTO.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out how Islamic banking helps small and medium businesses at the BSI Arifin Ahmad Pekanbaru branch office. This research is classified as field research, and the approach used is a qualitative descriptive approach. This study uses a purposive sample selection method, which means that the sample selection is based on the research topic. The results of the study show that the BSI Arifin Ahmad Pekanbaru branch office has carried out empowerment through financing, consulting on business development, business guidance through seminars, and comparative studies with similar businesses that have developed and reduced poverty. Of the 10 customers surveyed, 7 said that their business had increased since BSI implemented the empowerment role, while 3 others said that their business had not increased.

Abstract

This study explores the sociological meaning of religious cultural branding as practiced by religious leaders in the effort to foster religious moderation. Utilizing a qualitative approach rooted in the sociology of religion, the research examines how symbols, rituals, narratives, and visual representations are employed by religious figures to construct collective religious identities that emphasize tolerance, inclusivity, and peaceful coexistence. The study draws on theories of symbolic interactionism and identity construction to analyze how branding strategies are not merely tools of communication but also mechanisms of social influence and identity formation within religious communities. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with religious leaders, observation of public religious events, and content analysis of religious media. The findings suggest that religious cultural branding serves as both a symbolic and strategic medium for reinforcing moderate religious values, countering extremism, and negotiating religious authority in a pluralistic society. This study highlights the increasingly important role of religious leaders not only as spiritual guides but also as cultural communicators and agents of social cohesion.

Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of village fund management in enhancing development, analyzes the impact of village funds on development improvement, and identifies supporting and inhibiting factors for village fund realization in Galung Village, Barru Regency. The research employs a qualitative descriptive method with a case study approach. Data collection utilized primary and secondary sources, including the Galung Village Budget Realization Report and interviews with key informants. Data analysis combined effectiveness ratio analysis and qualitative data analysis through data organization and coding, theme and pattern identification, data interpretation, narrative compilation, verification, triangulation, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that village fund management effectiveness in Galung Village, Barru Regency during 2019-2023 achieved an effective category with 100% realization rate annually. Village funds positively impacted development through infrastructure improvements that enhanced accessibility, facility utilization, and community quality of life. Supporting factors for village fund realization include clear government policies and robust technology information systems. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors encompass limited human resource capacity, adverse weather conditions, and insufficient community participation.

Abstract

The study intended to create a learning medium tools for sorting systems, elevators, gates based on PLC, and to control systems for sorting objects, freight elevators and gates. The research methods applied to this study are problem identification, toolmaking, design, and testing. Based on tests conducted by the system can detect objects by using proximity infrared sensor by a range of 3 centimetres – 8 centimeter and can be regulated according to need and proximity inductive sensors with a range of 0-4 mm. this media use Infrared sensor range 8 cm and 5 cm while the inductive sensor used by the range 4 mm. Infrared sensors are also used to detect altitude in objects to be sorted. These media control systems are controlled using PLC. Programs for this medium can be created with the language program leadder diagram. For PLC and PC communication using LAN cables. The learning media uses 5 electric motor, three 5 VDC electric motor those are a gate electric motor, a sorting electric motor, and a booster electric motor as well as two 12 VDC electric motor those are conveyor and a freight elevator, so that to connect the SLG learning media to the PLC an additional relay is needed.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the strategy for managing the library at Ahmad Wahid Hasyim Middle School, Jombang. This research is a qualitative research. As a source of information in this research is the library manager. Data collection uses observation techniques, structured interviews and documentation. The results showed that the management of the library in this school had managed the school's library facilities well. To find out who is on board at the library, the school principal establishes an organizational structure for managing the library as the executor of daily activities. The head of the library management conducts an evaluation with the aim of finding out what is lacking in an effort to develop the library which will be used as input for improving the organization of the library in the following academic year.
