Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi untuk mengetahui lebih dalam tentang cara pelaksanaan Famatӧrӧ Tӧi Ono Nihalӧ (pemberian nama pengantin perempuan) dan makna yang terdapat pada nama pengantin baru seperti Balaki, Barasi, dan Za’usӧ yang berada di Kabupaten Nias dan tentang peran serta fungsi Famatӧrӧ Tӧi Ono Nihalӧ (pemberian nama pengantin perempuan) serta dilestarikan dari generasi ke generasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tata acara Famatӧrӧ Tӧi Ono Nihalӧ (pemberian nama pengantin perempuan) dan untuk mendeskripsikan makna yang terkandung dalam 3 nama Famatӧrӧ Tӧi Ono Nihalӧ. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan etnografi. Adapun teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu reduksi data, display data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian pertama, mengenai tata acara pelaksanaan Famatörö Töi Ono Nihalö di Kabupaten Nias; kedua, mengenai makna dari nama-nama tradisional Famatörö Töi Ono Nihalö seperti Balaki, Barasi, dan Za’usö. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tradisi ini memegang nilai penting dalam menghormati status baru pengantin perempuan dan mewariskan nilai-nilai budaya Nias. Temuan ini didukung oleh analisis data komprehensif yang menggambarkan bagaimana adat, agama, dan pemerintah saling mendukung untuk menjaga dan mengembangkan tradisi ini dalam masyarakat Nias.

Abstract

This study was conducted because of the growing use of slang among teenagers in Gunungsitoli. Its goal was to examine how social media influences the evolution of slang among these adolescents. Qualitative research was employed with a descriptive approach. The researcher acted as the main data collection instrument, aided by a camera, field notes, and writing materials. Data were gathered through observation and video recordings, and analysis involved data reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results revealed that numerous words from formal Indonesian have been transformed into widely used slang among teenagers, with notable positive and negative implications

Abstract

This qualitative research aims to determine the type of Indonesian language errors found in the exit letter of the Sihare'o 1 Tabaloho Village Office. This study uses the manuscript of the exit letter of the Sihare'o 1 Tabaloho Village Office as a source of data. Data collection was carried out through observation and recording techniques, and data analysis was carried out through the listening method. The data analysis techniques used in this study are reduction and conclusion. The results of the analysis showed that there were several types of Indonesian language errors found in the letter issued by the Sihare'o 1 Tabaloho Village apparatus. These errors include capital errors, word errors, word separation errors, word usage errors, italics errors, and punctuation errors

Abstract

Improving the quality of schools requires various strategies. One of the things that affects students' academic and non-academic abilities is influenced by the strategies used by the principal. The purpose of this research is to find out what are the school strategies in improving students' abilities in the academic and non-academic fields. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The data source used in this study is primary data. The subjects in this study are school principals, teachers, and students. Meanwhile, the object of this study is the analysis of school strategies in improving student achievement. The instruments used in this study are questionnaires for students and interview sheets. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The results of the data analysis showed that school strategies had a positive effect on the development of potential in students, both in the academic and non-academic fields. This is evidenced by the average score of the questionnaire which reached 91.8. The findings of this research are to improve student achievement in the academic and non-academic fields can be done by making policies, programs and activities adjusted to the vision, mission and goals of the school as a basis in determining strategies that can be implemented by all students, as well as utilizing various appropriate media and learning methods so that students are able to be motivated to learn

Abstract

This research aims to find out the types of affixes found in the legend of laowemaru in folklore by F.G Harefa. A type of qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The collection technique uses reading and note-taking techniques. The instruments used consisted of books, notes/worksheets, and pens by reading early, marking, and recording/pouring the results on the worksheet. The data analysis techniques used include data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the research show that there are several types of affixes found in the legend of Laowemaru in the folklore by F.G Harefa, including (1) prefixes including {mo-}, {me-}, {la-}, {fa-} and {I-}, (2) the infix {-ga-}, (3) the suffix {-nia}, and (4) the confix {la-I}.

Abstract

The author's purpose in conducting this research is to provide an understanding of the extent to which audiovisual media is effective in increasing students' understanding and involvement in Indonesian language learning. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The subject of this study is Junior High School Class VII students. The data collection technique used by the researcher is in the form of a questionnaire. The analysis technique used is descriptive analysis that uses learning media in audiovisual form when delivering learning to students. The results of this study show that the use of audio-visual media in Indonesian language learning can significantly improve students' understanding

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the maxims of politeness of language used when communicating with lecturers via WhatsApp. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach method, data collection techniques, namely interviews and observations, other supporting data, namely screenshots of WhatsApp chats of students and lecturers. And using the word "sorry" to respect the interlocutor, sorry for disturbing his time, or disturbing his comfort, in the maxim of wisdom the speaker shows respect for the interlocutor, the maxim of appreciation shows respect for the opinion of the interlocutor, the maxim of generosity shows responsibility, the maxim of simplicity shows the humility and humility of the speaker, the maxim of agreement shows an agreement between lecturers and students, the maxim of sympathy, shows respect and sympathy for the interlocutor

Abstract

The research entitled "Analysis of Nias Regional Language Code Mixing in the Learning Process at Idanoi Private Junior High School" was conducted with the aim of finding out things related to code mixing that often occurs in the school environment in the delivery of information by students. The method used in this study is qualitative, using a descriptive approach in the form of written or spoken words from people and observed behavior. The data collection technique was produced from observations in the form of video recording documentation and audio recordings carried out at Idanoi Private Junior High School. The research was carried out in one meeting in which the researcher took a sample of 10 boys and 10 girls in class VII-A. After taking the sample, the researcher conducted a codemixing analysis and concluded when the teaching and learning process began. After conducting the research, the researcher learned that the code mixing that occurred in Idanoi Private Junior High School was influenced by several factors, including the community environment, social interactions, and the school environment itself

Abstract

Penelitian ini berujuan untuk mengembangkan video pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia berbasis Powtoon yang layak, praktis dan efektif . Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan model ADDIE yang terdiri dari analisis (Analyze), perancangan (Design), pengembangan (Development), implementasi (Implementation), dan evaluasi (Evaluation). Penelitian pengembangan video pembelajaran ini dilaksanakan di kelas XI SMK Negeri 1 Alasa Talumuzoi. Hasil penelitian ini berupa produk video pembelajaran berbasis Powtoon pada materi menu;is teks cerita pendek. Penilaian validasi materi sebesar 98,75%, validasi bahasa sebesar 90%, dan validasi desain sebesar 97,5% dengan kriteria sangat layak. Hasil penilaian pada angket respon siswa pada uji coba kelompok kecil mencapai 97.6% dan uji coba kelompok besar mencapai 95% kategori sangat praktis. Penilaian tes hasil belajar peserta didik memperoleh presentase ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 85% dengan kategori sangat efektif. Dari hasil penelitian di atas, dapat disimpulkan video pembelajaran yang dikembangkan dengan berbasis Powtoon sangat layak, praktis, dan efektif digunakan sehingga memenuhi harapan atau tujuan penelitian. Adapun saran peneliti yaitu penelitian ini dapat mendorong peneliti lain untuk membuat video pembelajaran bahasa indonesia yang interaktif dengan aplikasi pembuatan video yang lebih baik

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh dari penggunaan model pembelajaran Think Pair Share terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi teks negosiasi kelas X SMK Negeri 1 Botomuzoi. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif, dengan jenis eksperimen. Populasinya adalah seluruh siswa kelas X SMK Negeri 1 Botomuzoi yang berjumlah 40 siswa. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 20 siswa di kelas OTKP dan ATPH-BKP sebagai kelas eksperimen dan 20 siswa di kelas X TKJ sebagai kelas kontrol. Hasil temuan menunjukkan bahawa kelas yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Think Pair Share diperoleh rata-rata 80 dan kelas yang menggunakan model pembelajaran ceramah diperoleh rata-rata 68. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa nilai signifikansi (2-tailed) 0,001 < 0,05, atau > (9.891 > 1,725), maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima, dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa model Think Pair Share memberikan pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi teks negosiasi kelas X SMK Negeri 1 Botomuzoi.
