Abstract

Phenomenon/Issue: The effective implementation of the Internal Quality Assurance System (IQAS) in elementary schools faces numerous challenges, including resource limitations, inconsistent leadership quality, cultural acceptance issues, and inadequate stakeholder involvement. Purpose: This study aims to identify the factors that influence successful IQAS implementation in elementary schools, focusing on resource availability, school leadership, cultural support, structured quality improvement processes (PDCA cycle), and the role of external stakeholders. Novelty: While prior research has examined general aspects of quality assurance in education, this study uniquely analyzes the combined effects of resource allocation, school culture, and stakeholder collaboration, providing a holistic view of factors essential for IQAS success in elementary settings. Research Methods: A qualitative case study approach was employed, including semi-structured interviews, observations, and document analysis from selected elementary schools. Data triangulation and thematic analysis were used to ensure reliability and depth in findings. Results: Findings reveal that resource sufficiency, proactive leadership, a strong culture of quality, systematic application of the PDCA cycle, and active stakeholder engagement are critical to successful IQAS implementation. Research Contributions: This research provides a framework for policymakers and school administrators to enhance IQAS in elementary schools, emphasizing the importance of integrated resource support, leadership development, cultural alignment, and community involvement to achieve sustainable quality assurance.

Abstract

This preliminary study investigates the learning needs of elementary students and teacher perceptions regarding STEM education in schools where it has not yet been implemented at Sukabumi Data were collected from 127 students and 15 teachers in elementary schools at Sukabumi City through questionnaires and semi structured interviews. The results indicate that a majority of students prefer experiment-based learning (41,73% strongly agree, 40,16% agree) and technology integration (38,38% strongly agree, 42,5% agree), with notable support for project- based learning and group collaboration. In contrast, teachers identified significant callenges in implementing STEM education, including limited acces to essential tools and technology, inadequate infastructure (60% strongly agree), and insufficient training (46,67% strongly agree). The findings suggest that, despite strong student interest in STEM learning, effective implementation requires enhanced support and resources. There is a clear need for ongoing professional development for teachers to facilitate innovative and collaborative learning processes. This study underscores the importance of futher research and initiatives to support STEM education in elementary schools, ensuring that both students and teachers are adequately equipped for successful learning experiences.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to theoretically implement the Social Emotional Learning (SEL) learning model in the fourth grade of Indonesian language classes in Elementary Schools. Using a qualitative approach based on literature studies, this study presents many academic findings and research findings that are up-to-date and relevant, both domestically and internationally. The research findings indicate that the use of the SEL model in Indonesian language teaching has a positive impact on students' development of five core competencies—self-awareness, self-reliance, social skills, relating, and a strong sense of self-esteem. The SEL model helps students express their emotions, understand others' perspectives, and improve their communication skills, both in writing and orally. In addition, the integration of SEL in Indonesian language teaching also promotes an inclusive, reflective, and supportive learning environment for students. This study recommends the need for the development of Indonesian language learning strategies based on SEL systematically and contextually to support holistic student growth.

Abstract

This study explores how the multisensory method is used in lower grade primary schools to boost student engagement. Early grade students learn best through concrete experiences seeing, hearing, touching, and moving. Through a literature review of journals from 2020-2025, the study found that this method helps students be more active and emotionally connected during lessons. It also supports children with learning difficulties like dyslexia. Still, its success depends on the teacher’s ability to design suitable and engaging activities.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of digital-based Games Based Learning (GBL) model in Indonesian language learning at elementary schools through comprehensive literature review. The research method employs systematic literature analysis by examining various relevant sources from scientific journals, research articles, and academic publications over the past five years. The analysis results indicate that digital-based GBL implementation provides significant positive impacts on Indonesian language learning at elementary level. This learning model successfully creates a more enjoyable and interactive learning atmosphere, increases student learning motivation, and develops critical and creative thinking skills through learning-while-playing experiences. Digital-based GBL proves effective in improving student learning outcomes in aspects of material comprehension, memory retention, and active engagement. The findings indicate that digital technology integration through GBL approach not only addresses monotonous conventional learning but also prepares students to face the digital era. Keywords: Game-Based Learning, Indonesian Language, Digital TechnologyABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan model Games Based Learning (GBL) berbasis digital dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di sekolah dasar melalui kajian literatur yang komprehensif.
