Abstract

Abstract: The objective of this research was to develop the students’ activity paper in chemistry lesson subject thermochemical. The type of this research was reserach and development (R & D) with the development model 4-D. This Reseach was conducted in FKIP UR. The object of this research was the students’ activity paper based on problem solving. The data analysis technique used for this research was descriptive statistic descriptive. The descriptive analysis done by calculated the percentage of validation value. The validation done with the four aspect, such as the content properness aspect with the average score is 93,12%, the language properness with the average score is 95%, course with the average score is 86,25% and the graphical with the average score is 85,93%. Based on the result of the validator, the writer obtained the average score 90,07% which is in valid criteria, means that the development of students’ activity paper based problem solving in chemistry lesson subject thermochemical is proper to be use.Key words: Students’ activity paper, Problem Solving, Thermochemical

Abstract

Abstrak: The objective of this research was to develop the student’s activity paper on the subject of ionic equilibrium and ph of the buffer. The type of this research was reserach and development (R & D) with the 4-D development model which include Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. This research was to develop phase and be continue with a definite tryout. This research was conducted in FKIP Riau University. The object of this research was the students’ activity paper based on the problem solving. The data analysis technique used for this research was descriptive statistic descriptive. The descriptive analysis done by calculated the percentage of validation value. The average score of valuation to five expediency aspect of student’s activity sheet by validator’s team, such as the content properness, the criteria of problem solving, the language properness, course and the graphical has expediency value continued is 92%, 98%, 90, 90%, and 90%. Thus, the average score totality of student’s activity paper based on the problem solving subject of Ionic Equilibrium and pH of the Buffer is 92% which is in very valid criteria, means that the LKPD Developed is proper to be use. Whereas percentage response of teacher and student is 82,3% and 81% to LKPD with very practical and very interesting.Key Words: Student Activity Sheet, Problem Solving, and Ionic Equilibrium and pH of the Buffer.

Abstract

Abstract: This development research aims to produce a pocket book on the subject of atomic structure and the periodic system of elements. The method used is the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE development model. Broadly speaking, the stages of research and development include Analysis (analysis stage), Design (design stage), Development (development stage), Implementation (implementation stage), and Evaluation (evaluation stage). This research was carried out until the development stage and then continued with one-on-one trials and user response trials. The resulting product is a valid pocket book based on content feasibility aspects, linguistic feasibility aspects, presentation feasibility aspects, and graphic feasibility aspects. The average score of the four aspects of pocket book feasibility in a row are 97.2%, 96.9 92.8%, and 97.6%. So the overall average score of validation is 96.1% with valid/feasible criteria. The results of trials on teachers and students obtained an average percentage of 95.8% by teachers and 95.9% by students with very good criteria.Key words: Research and Development, ADDIE, Teaching Materials, Pocket Books, Atomic Structure and Periodic System of Elements

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to produce the essay test instrument critical thinking ability on the material reaction rate and know the validity and reliability of the test instrument. Research method using 4D model with four stages that is define, design, development, & disseminate, but done only until development stage (development). The test developed in the study consisted of fourteen items of essay referring to Ennis's critical thinking indicator of 10 indicators and the cognitive level of Bloom's Taxonomy C4-C5. The validation of the item is done by five validators with expert validity and content validity. Based on the validity according to the expert obtained average every aspect of the material 93,30%, construction 94,64% and language 92,29% with the average score of the overall validation of 93,41% has a valid category. While the content validity with Aikens formula obtained the average validation count of 0.92 categories is very good and all questions declared valid. Fourteen valid questions were tested for 30 students. The calculation of reliability coefficient (r11) with Alpha Cronbach formula obtained by 0.687 high category. The developed test instrument is considered valid and reliable so it can be used as a measuring tool to know the critical thinking ability of learners.Key word: Research & development, critical thinking test instrument,reaction rate

Abstract

Abstract: The purposes of research are to know the improvement of student learning achievement and value of influence by implementing Peer Led Guided Inquiry (PLGI) learning model on the atomic structure subject in the class X MIA MAN 2 Model Pekanbaru. The from of the study was an experiment with a randomizedControl Group Pretest-Posttest. The sample in the X MIA 4class experimental class and the X MIA 3 a the control class randomly determined after the normality test and homogeneity test. The experimental class was treated with the application of learning Peer Led Guided Inquiry (PLGI) namely, data analisysis for hypothesis testing is done using the right-party t-test. Based on the results of data analysis obtained thitung = 9,5thitungand ttable = 1,67. And obtained that t count>ttable= 9,5> andttable = 1,67means the applicationof PLGI learning model can improve student learning outcomes on the subject of atomic struktur.Key Words : Learning Model Peer Led Guided Inquiry (PLGI), Learning Achievement, Atomic Structure

Abstract

Abstract: Research about application of active learning true false chain strategy has been done to know the improvement of student’s learning achievement at compounds nomenclature and chemical reaction equation subject in SMAN 11 Pekanbaru. This research was quasi experimental with pretest-posttest design. The sample consist of two classes, class X.10 as the experiment class and class X.9 as the control class that randomly selected after testing normality and homogeneity test. Active learning true false chain strategy applied in X.10. Data analysis technique used t-test. Results of data processing obtained tcount>ttable (2,81>1,67). It means the application of active learning true false chain strategy is able to improve the student’s learning achievement in the subject of compounds nomenclature and chemical reaction equation in SMAN 11 Pekanbaru. The result of normalized gain (N-gain) of experiment class is 0,75 as the high category.Key words: True false chain, Learning achievement, Compounds nomenclature and chemical reaction equationWisuda Oktober

Abstract

Abstract: The research developmnet of test instruments based higher order thinking skill is aimed to develop a valid and reliable test instruments on chemical equilibrium subject. This research method is research development (Research and Development, R & D) with 4-D development model with includes stages define phase, Design, Develop and Disseminate. Instruments of data collection are used validation and test sheet. Data analysis technique is by calculating the percentage score of validation and reliability with alpha cronbach’s formula. Instrument test consists of 8 items essay. The result showed that instruments test based higher order thinking skill developed valid criteria of materials, construction, and languange aspect with a percentage i a row 97,5%, 91,16%, and 96,25%. The test insrumets is also considered reliable with alpha cronbach value of 0,71 in high category.Key Words: Test Instruments, Higher order Thinking Skill, Chemical Equilibrium

Abstract

Dewasa ini pertumbuhan bisnis e-commerce di Indonesia mulai merambah ke berbagai sektor usaha. Persaingan bisnis yang berbasis online makin ketat menyaingi pelaku bisnis konvensional di pasar-pasar tradisional maupun super market. Asosiasi e-commerce Indonesia (idEA- Indonesian e-commerce association) telah menghimpun anggota dari berbagai sektor bisnis online antara lain: 7 Bank, 18 Classified Ads, 6 Daily Deals, 1 direktori, 29 infrastruktur, 20 logistik, 54 market place, 104 online retail, 21 payment gateway dan 18 travel. Tantangan yang dihadapi oleh 278 pelaku usaha OTT (Over The Top) e-commerce Indonesia saat ini adalah kemampuan daya saing mereka dengan pelaku bisnis e-commerce asing yang merambah banyak negara dengan tanpa adanya batas-batas wilayah teritorial kenegaraan. Pelaku bisnis e-commerce dengan bebas menjual produknya melalui media online dan mengendalikan bisnisnya dari negara asalnya. Bukan sekedar persaingan harga, tapi keberagaman dan kualitas produk menjadi daya tarik tersendiri bagi konsumen yang bebas memilih produk impiannya. Dalam kajian daya saing OTT e-commerce ini, secara kualitatif memetakan kondisi dan kemampuan e-commerce Indonesia dalam menghadapi tantangan dan persaingan Global. Metode yang dilakukan dalam kajian daya saing OTT e-commerce ini melalui FGD (Focus Group Discussion) yang menghadirkan 1 orang komisaris dan 5 orang pengurus idEA yang juga sekaligus mewakili para pelaku bisnis e-commerce di Indonesia. Dari pelaksanaan kegiatan observasi dan analisis SWOT pada Bulan November 2016 hingga Maret 2017 dan pelaksanaan FGD pada Bulan Desember 2016 dirumuskan rekomendasi berupa pemetaan daya saing OTT e-commerce Indonesia terhadap e-commerce asing. Simpulan dari kajian daya saing OTT e-commerce ini melahirkan rekomendasi kebijakan sebagai usulan bagi pemerintah Republik Indonesia yang disampaikan oleh IDEA yang terbagi dalam 7 pilar roadmap e-commerce antara lain: logistic services, financing for startups, consumer protection, communication infrastructure, tax in e-commerce businesses, the education and human resources sector, dan cyber security.

Abstract

The greenhouse effect was increased averaged of earth temperature 1-5°C when the increasing tendency of greenhouse gases is not reduce, it will causing of global warming increasing in 1,5 - 4,5°C on 2030. Increasing of solar radiation that reflecting from earth surface that absorbed by atmosphere will occur when the CO2 concentration rise in atmosphere. The extreme climate changes will disturb function of forest and another ecosystem, it will reduce their ability to absorbed CO2 gases from atmosphere. The global warming can effects ice melts. When ice melts, land or open water takes its place. Both land and open water are on average less reflective than ice and thus absorb more solar radiation. This causes more warming, which in turn causes more melting, and this cycle continues. Finally, the sea level rise will give a very big effect to island country. Key words: Greenhouse effect, global warming

Abstract

This research discussed about the teaching of languages to speak Indonesian well and correctly through speaking aspects and language elements in various contexts. This research focused the researcher was intrigued to carry out an experiment on the learning-teaching strategy of pragmatics and to know the students’ achievement level in Indonesian who were taught by using pragmatics and those who were taught without using pragmatics, particularly the first semester students of Muhammadiyah University of Enrekang. The research was an experimental research whose samples consisted of 55 students taken by using random sampling out of the population whose number was 578 students. The scientific fact found in this research showed that the learning-teaching strategy of pragmatics is one of the approaches that can be taken into consideration to be developed and socialized to Muhammadiyah University of Enrekang lectures. The results of the research showed that there is a difference in the students’ learning achievement in Indonesian between those who were taught by using pragmatics and those who were taught without using pragmatics. The data for the students’ learning achievement in Indonesian were collected by using the instrument in the form of a test carried out before and after the treatment. Those data were analyzed by using descriptive and inferential statistic analysis. Most of the functions used of the originality of this study of the learning-teaching processes of Indonesian in general and the students’ learning achievement in Indonesian in particular can be maintained and promoted in the effort of making the students fluent and familiar with the use of Enrekang daily.
