Abstract

Moral education is education that must be instilled in children. The age of elementary school children is golden period to apply learning to form the morals and character of these students. Civics is a subject that is expected to be a means for teachers to educate and shape the morals and characteristics of each student. The formation of good character and morals will produce positive sides for a child, one of which is the growth of a sense of responsibility , courtesy and discipline. Factors that can affect the morale of a child are the environment, friends, as well as media and technology

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out how the meugang tradition in Acehnese society is. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive method. The research results obtained are that the Maugang tradition is a tradition originating from Aceh which is still carried out today. This tradition is carried out by slaughtering livestock which will then be distributed to people in need, this aims to strengthen friendship and at the same time give alms. Usually this tradition is carried out as a form of gratitude to welcome holidays, such as fasting in Ramadan, Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha

Abstract

Citizenship education (civic education) in Indonesia is placed as a field of study that carries a national mission to educate the life of the Indonesian people through the corridor of "value-based education". Civics as a compulsory subject at the school level has a vision as a means of fostering national character (nation and character building) and empowering citizens, and carrying out the mission of forming good citizens, namely citizens who are able to carry out their rights and obligations in the life of the nation and state, in accordance with Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out how the creativity of teachers in implementing Islamic Cultural History (SKI) learning. The results of the study found that teachers at the Medan MIN 1 school still used the lecture method in carrying out SKI learning and students said that they felt bored listening to the material that had been delivered by the teacher, especially since there was too much material or studies that the teacher had delivered. To overcome this, the teacher uses the cooperative learning method. Students are expected to be able to study in a group and carry it out together. In cooperative learning (cooperative learning) students are trained to work together in a group. The important point in this method is that students are expected to be able to work together in a team. Students who understand are asked to focus on becoming peer tutors.

Abstract

Prophet Muhammad SAW which for Muslims, he is a symbol of a good personality that Muslims should emulate wherever they are. Rasulullah SAW must be used as a role model and a good example for all his people, the figure of Prophet Muhammad SAW is a figure who has a good personality. The Prophet Muhammad SAW besides having an honest attitude (Arabic: Shiddiq), also has the characteristics of Amanah (Trustworthy),Tabligh (Conveying), and Fathonah (Smart).This research uses a qualitative approach with an analytical descriptive method. The analytical-descriptive method is an attempt to describe, analyze and explain the results of the research. The purpose of the analytical-descriptive research is to awaken the younger generation to cultivate honest behavior in words through Islamic cultural history education in elementary-age children at the MI/SD level. For this reason, data checking in this study was carried out using reference materials. The Prophet Muhammad SAW was a human figure who had great morals and noble character. The noble personality of the Prophet Muhammad SAW is of course a blessing for those who understand, emulate him, and live it in their daily lives.

Abstract

The history of Islamic culture is a very important lesson for us to learn to know the historical values and developments about Islam. Besides that, learning to ski is useful for forming the personality traits of the people to be even better than the exemplary journey of previous figures or generations. In general, the reality is that Islamic Cultural History lessons are less attractive to students. We conducted research at a private Madrasah Aliyah Al-Manar Medan Johor regarding the learning process, obstacle, obstacle solution to learn Islamic Cultural History. The method we use is a descriptive qualitative method. The objects we examined were students and teachers at the school. From the research results we obtained the implementation of SKI learnimg has been going well in accordance with the contents of lesson plan made by the SKI teacher and the obstacle that occur during the ski learning process namely students feel bored while studying, the class atmosphere is not conducive, students do not do their homework, students are sleepy in class, and students are lazy to study.Besides that, the teacher's efforts in these problems are by inviting refreshing by standing and shaking hands, inviting learning outside the classroom, giving directions to students to be quiet and listening to their reasons first if they don't do homework and advising not to repeat it, creating learning readiness, motivating students, creating harmony with students, provide guidance to students.

Abstract

This article examines “Hijab Fashion Among Students of the Tarbiyah and Teacher Training Faculty of UIN North Sumatra” using a descriptive qualitative approach. focus on answering the first question, about female students' understanding of the headscarf. Second, regarding the reference to the hijab style. Third, regarding the trend of wearing the headscarf and regulations in the Faculty of Tarbiyah Science and Teacher Training at UIN North Sumatra Medan. The results of the study show that first, when critically discussed, a fundamental difference is found regarding the understanding of the headscarf for women. Second, the style or model of wearing the hijab for female students at the State Islamic University of North Sumatra, especially the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, varies greatly. The change of every hijab model trend cannot be separated from the influence of social media, such as Instagram, Tiktok, YouTube. Third, there are several classification models for the trend of wearing the headscarf when compared to FITK regulations, namely that only a few female students cover their genitals, such as covering their chests, clothes that are not too thin, tight, and cover their genitals up to their wrists, which follow the hijab rules according to FITK regulations. However, there are also not a few female students who do not follow the hijab rules according to FITK regulations.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out how the Markobar Tradition is carried out and also to find out how Islam views the Markobar Tradition of the Mandailing tribe. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques are carried out by means of observation, interviews, and documentation. The research results obtained are that Markobar is one of the customs of the Mandailing tribe in the form of oral literature. Generally, markobar is carried out during Siriaon events (a party in a happy atmosphere) or a party in an atmosphere of mourning (Silulutun). In carrying out the traditional Markobar wedding event, it was opened by the Suhut. Then answered by Mora to Kahanggi and continued with advice by the families of the bride and groom based on the Dalian Natolu system. At the death ceremony, Markobar was only different from advising him, the messages conveyed were encouragement and condolences. The activity was opened Suhut and continued by the family. All kinds of cultural values that are in line with Islamic teachings may be carried out by looking at the Shari'a and the provisions of Allah SWT. Markobar practices are in line with Islam, namely giving advice to do good and leave bad, but there needs to be a little clarification in the procedure for implementing it, namely to pay more attention to time and to always remember Allah SWT.

Abstract

Marriage is a marriage ceremony celebrated or carried out by two people with the aim of formalizing the marriage bond in accordance with religious, legal and social norms. There are many types and variations of wedding ceremonies, depending on ethnic traditions, religion, culture and social class. Marriage for Javanese people is considered very sacred, and they only get married once in their life. This purity is the background to the practice of marriage in the Javanese Muslim community which is carried out very effectively and carefully in selecting prospective sons-in-law and determining the right time for marriage. To be precise, the people in Bandar Setia village, Percut Sei Tuan District, Deli Serdang Regency are predominantly Muslim and Javanese. They still uphold Javanese cultural values in the wedding procession. The purpose of this article is to review the Javanese Muslim Community Marriage in Bandar Setia Village. This research method uses qualitative descriptive research. Using observation, interviews and documentation. From the results of this research, the author found two results of discussion, firstly the implementation of marriages in the Javanese Muslim community using the Ngidak Tigan tradition, secondly the meaning of marriage in the Ngidak Tigan tradition according to the understanding of the loyal bandar community.

Abstract

Tradisi merupakan sebuah kebiasaan masyarakat yang telah dilakukan sejak lama dan menjadi bagian dari suatu kehidupan kelompok masyarkat, suatu negara, kebudayaan, waktu maupun agama. Terkait dengan prosesi pernikahan yang berlaku di masyarakat melayu. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan normatif. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data yang dipergunakan adalah dengan cara observasi dan wawancara mendalam untuk data primer dan perpustakaan untuk mendapatkan data sekunder. Hasil penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa prosesi upacara adat pernikahan Melayu terdiri dari beberapa tahapan, yakni dimulai dari merisik-risik, menjarum-menjarum, melamar, mengantar tanda, menerima antaran, menggantung-gantung, mengukus (membuat tabak), berandam, bertomat (khatam alqur'an), akad nikah/ijab, cecah inai, berinai, hari langsung/ resepsi pernikahan, makan nasi hadap-hadapan, mandi dan main suruk-surukan, mengantar nasi, dan menyembah berkunjung.
