Abstract

This study aims to describe the principal's leadership style in improving the learning process at SD Negeri 05 Ogan Komering Ulu. This research uses qualitative methods with a descriptive approach. Data techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects were school principals and teachers of SD Negeri 05 OKU. The results of this study indicate that the principal leadership style applied in SD Negeri 05 Ogan Komering Ulu was carried out by the principal in general in response to good cooperation by subordinates, who used the democratic-participatory leadership style shown by the principal gave an example that both for teachers so that teacher personality increases, assigning or delegating teachers identically to official duties and motivating students, and is open and becomes a place of consultation for teachers and students in order to realize the quality of education and learning.

Abstract

The goal of this study is to decide whether the leadership and motivation of school principals has a very important impact on the performance of high school teachers in the PlakatTinggi District. The theoretical analysis presented is the concept of leadership, the understanding of motivation, the understanding of the principal and the success of the instructor, whereas the research approach is a method of study with a survey method, descriptive quantitative approach, data collection strategies are carried out randomly or randomly. A sample of 63 teachers was taken randomly from a population of 83 teachers. 1) descriptive quantitative analysis technique; and 2) multiple regression, the data analysis technique used. The results of the study suggested that 1) there was a major influence on teacher performance among the leadership of the principal; 2) there is an impact on teacher performance Significant impact on teacher performance between work motivation; and 3) there is a significant impact on teacher performance jointly between key leadership and work motivation

Abstract

This study aims to describe the principal's strategy as a manager in order to carry out four managerial functions in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0. The research method used in this research is qualitative. The research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Talang Ubi. Observation data collection techniques, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used by researchers is Miles and Huberman. The results show that the strategy of the Head of SMA Negeri 1 Talang Ubi in the planning function has been carried out through disciplinary enforcement with fingerprints, and preparation of learning infrastructure using digitization. The organizing function has been carried out well, through the preparation of students to continue to a higher level. the coordination function runs well by utilizing technology and information, so that most activities are carried out well. The monitoring function has been carried out with the use of technology, such as the use of a CCTV camera connected directly to the headphones and to the principal's room at SMA Negeri 1 Talang Ubi so the control is faster and more accurate.

Abstract

AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini meningkatkan kinerja guru dalam proses pembelajaran di SMA Negeri 1 Kayuagung melalui pelaksanaan supervisi klinis. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Instrumennya menggunakan panduan wawancara dan praktik langsung oleh peneliti. Tehnik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan wawancara, pengamatan, dan tehnik dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif dengan tahapan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan supervisi klinis di SMA Negeri 1 Kayuagung dapat meningkatan kinerja guru secara optimal dalam proses pembelajaran.Kata kunci: supervisi klinis, kinerja guru, sekolah menengah atas. Abstract The aim of this study is to improve teacher performance in the learning process at SMA Negeri 1 Kayuagung through the implementation of clinical supervision. The research method used in this study is a descriptive research approach. The instrument of this study used an interview guide and direct practice of the researcher. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) mengetahui ada atau tidak pengaruh kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru; 2) mengetahui ada atau tidak pengaruh disiplin guru terhadap kinerja guru; 3) mengetahui ada atau tidak pengaruh kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan disiplin guru terhadap kinerja guru. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: 1) terdapat pengaruh positif yang sangat signifikan antara gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru; 2) terdapat pengaruh positif yang sangat signifikan antara kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja guru; 3) terdapat pengaruh positif antara komitmen organisasi dan kepuasan kerja secara bersama-sama terhadap kinerja guru

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk: 1) mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan pengaruh disiplin guru terhadap kinerja guru; 2) mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan pengaruh profesionalisme guru terhadap kinerja guru; 3) mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan disiplin guru dan profesionalisme guru terhadap kinerja guru. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa: 1) disiplin guru berpengaruh secara signikan terhadap kinerja guru; 2) profesionalisme guru berpengaruh terhadap kinerja guru; 3) disiplin guru dan profesionalisme guru berpengaruh bersama-sama terhadap kinerja guru

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out how to describe the implementation of school-based management (SBM), how to improve the quality of education through school-based management, as well as the supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation of school-based management. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data collection techniques in this study are interview techniques, observation techniques and document study techniques. The subjects and informants in this study were the principal, vice principal, head of administrative officer, and the community. The data obtained in the field were analyzed by means of data reduction, data presentation and finally conclusions. The results obtained: (1) The implementation of school-based management at SMP Negeri 4 Abab can be said to be running well. (2) In the process of implementing SBM at SMP Negeri 4 Abab, namely the first input at this stage the principal makes a program implementation plan through deliberation involving all interest groups. The second stage of the process, in this stage the implementation of what was previously planned. Finally, the output or result of the SBM implementation process is to produce students with high achievements and to improve the quality of education. (3) The supporting factor in implementing SBM in SMP Negeri 4 Abab is that there is support from teachers, administrative officer and the community, both in the form of personnel and financial support. While the inhibiting factors are the people who are indifferent, lack of funds and inadequate facilities and infrastructure.

Abstract

This research aimed to study and to test the effect of the principal work discipline (variable X1) on teacher performance (variable Y), the effect of the work motivation (variable X2) on teacher performance (variable Y) and the effect of the  principal's work discipline (variable X1) and motivation work (variable X2) together on the performance of teachers (variable Y). The method used of this research was survey research design. Based on the results of the data analysis that had been carried out the influence of the principal discipline variable and work motivation variable  on the teacher performance variable was 98.3%, this value implied that the principal of the discipline variable and work motivation variable jointly affect of the teacher's performance variable by 98.3%, while the remains was influenced by variables that were not examined. These results indicated that there were an influence of the principal's work discipline variable and work motivation variable on the teacher's performance variable, both individually or together.

Abstract

Leadership is a way of doing something to achieve certain goals, as well as the leadership of the principal which is carried out in order to achieve educational goals. In line with leadership that shapes work culture, ultimately leadership and work culture are believed to be able to shape the characteristics of optimal work discipline. The study was conducted to determine the effect of the madrasa principal's leadership style and work culture on teacher’s work discipline. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative, with data obtained through questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis was performed through simple and multiple linear regression. The results obtained from this study stated that 1) there was a significant influence of the madrasa principal's leadership style on the work discipline of MTs teachers in Pangkalan Lampam District; 2) there is a significant influence of work culture on the work discipline of MTs teachers in Pangkalan Lampam District; 3) there is a significant influence on the leadership style of the madrasa principal and work culture together on the work discipline of MTs teachers in Pangkalan Lampam District.

Abstract

This research seeks to establish and explain the role of extracurricular religious activities in promoting the religious character of students. This research, using a descriptive approach, is a qualitative study. The study objective is to carry out extracurricular religious activities in an attempt to instill the religious beliefs of SMP Negeri 8 Talang Ubi students.The method of collecting data from this analysis is through techniques of observation, interview and recording. A technique that suits the data is used in analyzing this information, namely descriptive data.It can be inferred from the results of the study that the preparation of extracurricular religious activity activities, like majelis taklim, reading and writing the Koran and praying in congregation, aims to build good character in students and can instill a sense of faith and piety in students.
