Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine and analyze the effect of teacher work motivation on the performance of SMK teachers in the Banyuasin III Ogan Ilir District of South Sumatra. This is a quantitative study using a survey method. This study was conducted in State Vocational High Schools Banyuasin III and Vocational High Schools, with 80 teachers serving as respondents. Questionnaires and documentation are used to collect data. Construction and content validity are used in the validity test. Cronbach's Alpha is used in the reliability test. The normality, homogeneity, and linearity tests were used in the analysis prerequisite test, and the data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential data analysis techniques. The findings revealed that motivation had an effect on the performance of SMK teachers.

Abstract

This study was conducted at SD Negeri Sukarami District, Palembang City. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of principal’s leadership and teacher’s professional competence on teacher’s performance. The method in this study is a quantitative descriptive. The sample consisted of 44 elementary school teachers in Sukarami District, Palembang City. From the results of the data analysis that has been done, it is concluded that the leadership of the principal can influence teacher’s performance in the learning process. This is based on the results of the linearity test, as well as the teacher’s professional competence on teacher’s performance. Then there is a significant influence between the principal’s leadership and the teacher’s professional competence simultaneously on teacher’s performance, meaning that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted.

Abstract

Improving teacher’s performance can be done by maximizing teacher professional competence because teacher professional competence is the basis for a teacher in carrying out learning activities and especially in enhancing the role as an educator. The method used in this research is to use quantitative methods with a survey approach. The population is 407 teachers who are in East Baturaja sub-district. Because the population is 100, the sample is taken as a whole and is called the population sample, but if the population is more than 100 then 35% is taken, namely 147 teachers who are sampled by using purposive sampling and to analyze the data researchers use SPSS For Windows Version 21. The results of the study are each point of the problem formulation states that there is a positive and significant influence both partially and simultaneously on principal’s leadership and teacher’s professionalism on teacher’s performance

Abstract

This research aims: (1) to determine the effect of communication on the performance of teacher working groups in Cluster 1 Lempuing Jaya District; (2) to determine the influence of leadership on the performance of teacher working groups in Cluster 1 Lempuing Jaya District; (3) to determine the influence of communication and leadership together on the performance of teacher working groups in Cluster 1 Lempuing Jaya District. This research was carried out in the Lempuing Jaya District Teacher Working Group with a total research sample of 71 teachers. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, documentation studies, and distribution questionnaires. The validity test uses construct validity, while the reliability test uses Cronbach’s Alpha. Linearity Test and Normality Test. The results of this research show that: (1) there is a partially significant influence between communication on the performance of the teacher’s working group; (2) there is a partially significant influence between communication on the performance of the teacher’s working group; (3) there is a significant simultaneous influence between communication and leadership on the performance of the teacher’s working group.

Abstract

The objectives of this study: 1) to determine the influence of the principal’s leadership on teacher’s job satisfaction; 2) to determine the effect of school organizational climate on teacher’s job satisfaction; and 3) to find out jointly the influence of the principal’s leadership and school organizational climate on teacher’s job satisfaction. This research was carried out at SD Negeri Gugus 2, Teluk Gelam District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency with a total research sample was 71 teachers. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, documentation studies, and distribution questionnaires. The validity test uses construct validity, while the reliability test uses Cronbach’s Alpha. Linearity Test and Normality Test. The results of this research are: 1) there is a partially significant influence between leadership on teacher’s job satisfaction; 2) there is a partially significant influence between organizational climate on teacher’s job satisfaction; and 3) there is a simultaneous influence between leadership and organizational climate on teacher’s job satisfaction. This study recommends all schools in Indonesia should have good principal’s leadership and organizational climate, in order to have good teacher’s job satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the implementation of strategic management in optimizing Merdeka Curriculum at SMA Negeri 3 Unggulan Kayuagung. This study uses qualitative methods. It shows that Implementation of strategic management consists of strategy formulation (environmental analysis, vision, mission, goals, targets and strategies), implementation (operational curriculum, programs, monitoring and communication systems, school resources, organizational structure, school’s principal leadership, and work culture), and strategy evaluation. The obstacles are dynamic policies, limited time, work completion gaps, inconsistency, and evaluation document. The solutions are to optimize growth mindset, digitalization; priority scale-based work plans; collaboration culture; performance work management; evaluation instruments and action plans. Novelty of this study resides in the research setting that implements the Merdeka Curriculum with Mandiri Berbagi category, so this study can contribute to strengthening strategic management in educational units to achieve optimal results in facing changes in the Merdeka Curriculum category options.

Abstract

This research aims to describe and determine the role of teachers in implementing the Project for Strengthening the Profile of Pancasila Students at SMA Negeri 1 BaNyausin III. Data collection tools use interviews, documentation, observation, and literature review methods. Data analysis uses descriptive qualitative analysis with stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The research results stated that. The teacher’s role in implementing the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project at SMA Negeri 1 Banyuasin III is to be a student guide, and facilitator and design activities based on the character values of the Pancasila Student Profile. Implementation of the Project for Strengthening the Profile of Pancasila Students. The obstacles faced are limited resources, lack of support and understanding as well as lack of student participation in the Project for Strengthening the Pancasila Student Profile. The solution to several obstacles is the efficient use of resources and improving communication and understanding with all stakeholders, including teachers, students, parents, and the community.

This research aims: (1) to determine and describe the influence of the principal’s leadership style on the performance of teachers; (2) to find out and describe the influence of leadership and motivation of school principals on the performance of teachers; and (3) to find out and describe the influence of the head’s leadership style and motivation on the performance of SMP Negeri teachers in Lempuing Jaya Sub-District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency. This research was carried out at SMP Negeri 1, 2, 3, 4 Kematan with a total research sample of 100 teachers. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, documentation studies, and distribution questionnaires. The validity test uses construct validity, while the reliability test uses Cronbach’s Alpha, Linearity Test and Normality Test. The results of this research show that there is a partially significant influence between leadership style and motivation on the performance of SMP Negeri teachers in Lempuing Jaya Sub-District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency. There is a significant simultaneous influence between leadership style and motivation on the performance of Lempuing Jaya SMP Negeri teachers. This study contributes to give attention towards leadership style and motivation when the school will get good teacher’s performance.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Project Bases Learning (PBL) terhadap hasil belajar sejarah siswa SMA PGRI 2 Palembang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian Quasi Exsperiment. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji validasi, uji reliabilitas, uji homogenitas, uji normalitas dan uji t. Hasil penelitian berdasarkan uji hipotesis independen sample t-test dengan hasil diperoleh nilai sig. 2 tailed yaitu 0,032 dan taraf signifikan α = 0,05. Dengan demikian 0,032 < 0,05 maka dapat disimpulkan ditolak dan diterima. Simpulan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PBL) mempengaruhi hasil belajar Sejarah di SMA PGRI 2 Palembang. Kata kunci: Hasil Belajar, Model Pembelajaran, Project Based Learning.

Abstract

The target and output of this training is to implement the Tridharma of Higher Education, and writing Classroom Action Research (CAR) for teachers at SMA Negeri 1 OKI. The training methods used are 1) lecturing in which the trainer explains to the trainees what and how to write and publish CAR; and 2) evidence-based learning, where training participants are invited to write together and know how to write CAR. The results obtained from this training can make participants (teachers) 1) write the background of the problem; 2) formulate the problem; 3) write a literature review; 4) writing research methodology; 5) write the results of research and discussion; 6) write conclusions, suggestions and bibliography; and 7) writing abstracts and bibliography.
