Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to determine the welfare of employees at CV bookstores. Anugrah Bersama Cahaya uses a Maqasid sharia perspective regarding Hifdz al-mal at the dharuriyat level which is researched from the problems that exist in bookstores by looking at the state of mind of employees in dealing with existing problems. and how employees deal with this influence on welfare. Methodology: The research method uses Qualitative research was conducted using a descriptive approach. This research used interviews for data collection, and the interview process was carried out with four bookstore employees. Results: There are several problems in bookstores, including delays in salary payments, which can occur when the company experiences a decline in sales. The company's purchases/spending is greater than its income, so the company experiences a decline in sales. Salary does not match the job; in the bookstore, the job does not match the salary because the company is in a developing stage. Excessive working hours can occur because the company is still in the developing stage. Limitations: Employee welfare is important for companies because it can prevent employees from moving to other companies and increase motivation and work morale. Contribution: Employee problems in bookstores, such as communicating with management regarding problems in the store, can still be resolved effectively.

Abstract

Purpose: This research aims to examine how the Islamic business ethics present at Lopo Mandheling Coffee align with Islamic business ethics, in which the author conducts a study titled “Analysis of the Implementation of Islamic Business Ethics at Lopo Mandheling Coffee Panyabungan Mandailing Natal.” Methodology: The method used is a qualitative approach. At Lopo Mandheling Coffee, good Islamic business ethics have been implemented in accordance with the principles of unity, balance, free will, and responsibility. Results: It can be concluded that Lopo Mandheling Coffee has implemented Islamic business ethics as a competitive advantage. It is as if we have implemented the obligation of performing the five daily prayers, providing assistance and support to orphans as a form of social and environmental concern, as well as responsibility. Limitations : The author's suggestion is that Lopo Mandheling Coffee Panyabungan is expected to remain steadfast in applying the principles of Islamic business ethics, improve the quantity and quality of Human Resource management, and enhance the company's capital by seeking investors. Contribution : Islamic-based business ethics must be applied in today's highly competitive business environment. Keywords: Islamic Business Ethics; Application; Lopo Mandheling Coffee Panyabungan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of product information transparency on public trust with public understanding as a mediating variable. The data were analyzed using path analysis. The study used a quantitative approach with purposive sampling of 100 respondents in Medan City who had been exposed to information and had a basic understanding of sharia insurance products. Data analysis was conducted using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with the help of SmartPLS 4.1. The results show that product information transparency facilitates increased understanding and significantly strengthens public trust in sharia insurance. Partial testing showed that public understanding acts as a mediating variable linking the influence of information transparency to the strengthening of public trust. These findings confirm that an honest and educational communication strategy is really crucial for insurance companies to build credibility in the eyes of the public. Therefore, Sharia insurance companies need to develop communication strategies that are transparent, honest, educational, consistent, and accessible in order to enhance understanding while building public trust on a sustainable basis.

Abstract

This research aims to empirically examine the influence of the palm oil industry on the country's foreign exchange and the enhancement of employment opportunities, as well as a comprehensive analysis ofthe role of Indonesian Sharia Bank financing as a moderating variable.This research uses a quantitative approach which aims to determine the influence of palm oil on the country's foreign exchange and employment opportunities, as well as the role of Indonesian Sharia financing as a moderating variable.The analytical technique used is Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA), or regression analysis with moderating variables. The objective of this analysis is to determine whether financing from Bank Syariah Indonesia strengthens or weakens the relationship between palm oil production and state foreign exchange and employment.Palm oil production has a significant influence on the country's foreign exchange and employment opportunities and BSI financing is able to moderate it by strengthening the variables of palm oil on the country's foreign exchange and employment opportunities.

Abstract

Studi ini bertujuan menganalisis religiusitas, persepsi, dan preferensi terhadap minat investasi syariah pada generasi milenial Muslim di Kota Medan. Penelitian dilatarbelakangi oleh meningkatnya kesadaran masyarakat Muslim untuk berinvestasi sesuai prinsip syariah, namun masih terdapat keraguan terkait keuntungan, fleksibilitas, dan literasi keuangan syariah. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologis. Informan dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling, melibatkan sepuluh generasi milenial Muslim dari berbagai profesi serta beberapa informan tambahan untuk memperkaya perspektif. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis secara tematik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa religiusitas menjadi faktor dominan yang mendorong minat investasi syariah melalui keinginan menghindari riba dan memperoleh keberkahan harta. Persepsi terhadap keamanan dan keuntungan investasi syariah beragam; sebagian informan menilai instrumen syariah stabil, sedangkan sebagian lainnya masih meragukan tingkat keuntungannya dibandingkan investasi konvensional. Preferensi investasi dipengaruhi oleh orientasi nilai, religiusitas, literasi keuangan, dan pengaruh sosial. Faktor penghambat meliputi rendahnya pemahaman produk, keraguan terhadap keuntungan, serta persepsi negatif mengenai fleksibilitas produk syariah. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa religiusitas berperan penting dalam membentuk minat investasi syariah, yang juga dipengaruhi oleh persepsi dan literasi keuangan. Temuan ini menjadi dasar penguatan literasi dan inovasi produk investasi syariah.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the application of Islamic business ethics and the utilization of Islamic microfinance in fostering the development of bakso (meatball) micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Deli Tua District. Adopting a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through observation and semi-structured interviews with six bakso shop owners selected via purposive sampling. The data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman framework, encompassing data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the implementation of Islamic business ethics—particularly honesty and social responsibility—significantly enhances customer loyalty and strengthens business image. Furthermore, Islamic microfinance based on murabahah contracts contributes to increasing production capacity and improving business facilities. The synergy between ethical practices and Islamic financing not only reinforces business reputation but also facilitates access to Sharia-compliant funding. The study suggests that integrating ethical values with Islamic financial mechanisms can serve as an effective strategy for promoting sustainable MSME growth
