Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek dengan metode Design Thinking terhadap keterampilan berpikir kreatif dalam pembelajaran IPA pada siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar di Kecamatan Laweyan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Penelitian dilakukan dengan satu kali tes. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SD di Kecamatan Laweyan yang berjumlah 56 siswa. Sumber data berasal dari siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes deskripsi. Analisis validitas dan normalitas data menggunakan korelasi product moment dan Uji Kolmogorov-Smirnov melalui aplikasi SPSS 16.0 for windows. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan quasi-experimental yang diterapkan pada Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa berdasarkan uji regresi linier sederhana pada aplikasi SPSS 16.0 diperoleh nilai signifikansi (2-talled) sebesar 0,025 < 0,05 menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek dengan metode Design Thinking terhadap keterampilan berpikir kreatif. Berdasarkan hasil nilai signifikansi tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa hipotesis kerja (Ha) yang berbunyi “Ada Pengaruh Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek dengan Metode Design Thinking berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif pada pembelajaran IPA kelas IV SD di Kabupaten Laweyan” diterima.The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Project Based Learning with the Design Thinking method on creative thinking skills in science learning in fourth grade elementary school students in Laweyan District. This research is a quantitative research. The study was conducted with one test. The subjects of the research were the fourth grade students of SD in Laweyan District, totaling 56 students. Sources of data come from students. The data collection technique used a description test. Data validity and normality analysis using product moment correlation and Kolmogorov-Smirnov Test through SPSS 16.0 for windows application. This study uses a quasi-experimental approach that is applied to Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The results showed that based on a simple linear regression test on the SPSS 16.0 application, a significance value (2-talled) of 0.025 <0.05 indicates that there is an effect of Project Based Learning with the Design Thinking method on creative thinking skills. Based on the results of the significance value, it can be concluded that the working hypothesis (Ha) which reads "There is an Effect of Project Based Learning with the Design Thinking method has an effect on creative thinking skills in science learning for grade IV SD in Laweyan District" is accepted.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and explain the supporting and inhibiting factors for implementing school-based management in the field of facilities and infrastructure at SDIT MTA Surakarta in 2022. This research design uses descriptive qualitative research, case study approach. The research subjects were principals, waka sarpras and classroom teachers as informants who carried out of school-based management in the field of facilities and infrastructure, and the research object was SDIT MTA Surakarta. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. The data validity test technique used is method triangulation and source triangulation. The data analysis technique used interactive data analysis techniques. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that in the implementation of school-based management in the field of facilities and infrastructure at SDIT MTA Surakarta in 2022 most of them had gone well, which included planning, procurement, storage, maintenance, inventory, elimination and supervision of the management of facilities and infrastructure management. The supporting factor is that most of the school's residents in the management of facilities and infrastructure seem to have independence, partnership, participation, openness, and accountability so that schools can fulfill educational goals by completing learning facilities, especially in the field of elementary school of facilities and infrastructure. While the inhibiting factor is the lack of Human Resources to manage a relatively new school.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh Problem Based Learning (PBL) berbantuan video animasi terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis pada pembelajaran IPA kelas V SD di Kecamatan Laweyan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Penelitian dilakukan dengan satu kali tes. Subjek penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas V Sekolah Dasar di Kecamatan Laweyan yang berjumlah 51 siswa. Sumber data berasal dari siswa. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan tes beralasan pilihan ganda. Analisis validitas dan normalitas data menggunakan korelasi product moment melalui aplikasi SPSS 16.0 for windows dengan teknik Kolmogorov-Smirnov. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan yang diterapkan adalah Quasi-experimental Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa berdasarkan Uji Regresi Linier Sederhana pada aplikasi SPSS 16.0 diperoleh nilai signifikansi (2-tailed) sebesar 0,013 < 0,05 menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh Problem Based Learning (PBL) berbantuan video animasi terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis. . Kesimpulan penelitian adalah ada pengaruh Problem Based Learning (PBL) berbantuan video animasi terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis pada pembelajaran IPA kelas V Sekolah Dasar di Kecamatan Laweyan.This research objective was to determine the effect of video animation-assisted problem-based learning (PBL) on Fifth grade elementary school critical thinking skills in scientific learning in Laweyan District. This research is a quantitative research. The study was conducted with one test. The research subjects were fifth grade elementary school students in Laweyan district, totaling 51 students. Sources of data come from students. The method of data collecting employed a multiple choice reasoned test. Data validity and normality analysis using product moment correlation through SPSS 16.0 for windows application using Kolmogorov-Smirnov technique. This study uses an approach that is applied is Quasi-experimental Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The results showed that based on the Simple Linear Regression Test on the SPSS 16.0 application, a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.013 < 0.05 indicates that there is an effect of Problem Based Learning (PBL) assisted by animated video on critical thinking skills. The research's conclusion is that there is an effect of Problem Based Learning (PBL) assisted by animated videos on critical thinking skills in science learning for fifth grade elementary school in Laweyan District.

Abstract

This research aims to determine  the relationship between scientific literacy and science process skills on HOTS cognitive learning outcomes of PGSD students. The research design is correlational, utilizing tests for data collection. The population consists of all 2022 PGSD UNS students, with random cluster sampling used for sampling. Data analysis employs multiple correlation analysis. The results indicate a positive and significant relationship between science literacy and science process skills on HOTS cognitive learning outcomes, with a significance value of 0.000 &lt; 0.05 and a Pearson correlation value of 0.495. This research indicates that as students' science literacy increases, their HOTS cognitive learning outcomes also improve. Additionally, an increase in students' science process skills is followed by an improvement in HOTS cognitive learning outcomes. This can enhance students' knowledge and awareness, enabling them to explore and understand scientific phenomena through direct experience and interaction with the environment.

Abstract

The 21st century demands students to have various important skills, one of which is collaboration skills which are very relevant to be developed since elementary school level. This study aims to determine the effect of the Jigsaw learning model integrated with a differentiated learning approach on students' collaboration skills in science learning in grade IV of elementary school. Two groups are used in this study, which employs a quantitative approach and a quasi experimental methodology. The experimental class uses the Jigsaw model in conjunction with differentiated learning, while the control class uses traditional learning.  Productivity, active engagement, effective communication, responsibility, and cooperation are the five variables that make up the study instrument, which also includes a collaboration skills observation sheet and a learning style questionnaire.  The independent sample t-test findings revealed a significance value of 0.002 (&lt;0.05), indicating a significant difference between the experimental and control groups. The experimental class showed a more significant increase in collaboration skills, indicated by an increase in the number of students with a very good score category on the posttest (91–100) of 7 students, compared to only 1 student in the control class. In addition, the visual learning style is the most dominant in the experimental class, supporting the success of the implementation of content differentiation and the learning process. The integration of the Jigsaw model and differentiated learning has been proven to create a collaborative learning environment that adapts to the needs and characteristics of students, thereby encouraging active involvement and improving collaboration skills.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of the Think-Pair-Share (TPS) model integrated with differentiated learning on elementary students' written communication skills in Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) learning. Using a quasi-experimental design with non-equivalent control group, the research involved 52 fourth-grade students from Cluster 1, Banjarsari District, Surakarta, divided into experimental and control classes. The experimental class implemented TPS with differentiated learning based on learning styles, while the control class used the number-heads-together model. Data were collected through pretest and posttest in the form of poster-making tasks and analyzed using t-test, N-Gain, and SmartPLS 4. Results showed significant differences (sig. 0.001 &lt; 0.05) with the experimental class achieving higher mean scores (79.23) compared to the control class (52.12). SmartPLS 4 analysis revealed that the think phase predominantly influenced information accuracy with visual learners showing the highest impact (0.609); the pair phase had the strongest effect on writing structure clarity with kinesthetic learners dominant (0.499) and the highest coefficient (0.023); while the share phase primarily affected information accuracy with kinesthetic learners most influential (0.238). The integration of TPS model with differentiated learning proved effective in enhancing elementary students' written communication skills by accommodating diverse learning needs and preferences through constructivist, humanistic, and cognitive approaches.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berangkat dari urgensi pengembangan kemampuan berpikir kritis pada peserta didik, terutama kemampuan menganalisis dalam pembelajaran IPAS materi ekosistem. Salah satu masalah yang dihadapi adalah bahwa hasil belajar peserta didik belum optimal, yang diperkirakan dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal, yakni gaya belajar serta kemampuan menganalisis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi keterkaitan antara gaya belajar dan hasil belajar IPAS, serta hubungan antara keduanya dengan hasil belajar secara bersamaan. Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, metode korelasional, dan desain analisis korelasi berganda. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 119 peserta didik kelas V sekolah dasar. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes untuk mengukur kemampuan menganalisis dan hasil belajar, serta angket untuk mengukur gaya belajar. Analisis data dilakukan melalui uji prasyarat, uji korelasi Pearson, dan uji korelasi ganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara gaya belajar dengan hasil belajar IPAS dengan nilai r = 0,234 (p &lt; 0,05), terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara kemampuan menganalisis dengan hasil belajar IPAS dengan nilai r = 0,721 (p &lt; 0,05), serta terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan secara simultan antara gaya belajar dan kemampuan menganalisis dengan hasil belajar IPAS dengan nilai R = 0,728 dan kontribusi sebesar 53%. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan menganalisis memiliki peran lebih dominan dibandingkan gaya belajar dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar IPAS.

Abstract

This research is motivated by observation and interview data which indicate there are problems at school regarding the low reading comprehension skills of fifth grade students at SDN Tegalayu Surakarta in the 2022/2023 academic year. To overcome these problems, the researcher conducted a qualitative study with the aims of: (1) To describe the difficulties in understanding Javanese texts (2)to explain the factors that cause difficulties in understanding Javanese texts.This research was conducted on teachers and students of class V SDN Tegalayu Surakarta. In this research, a qualitative descriptive approach was used, and observation, interviews, and documentation studies were used to collect data.Source triangulation and triangulation techniques are used to test the validity of the data.From the research, data were obtained in the form of difficulties experienced by students, namely difficulties in interpreting words, difficulties in making new sentences using words in the text of the story and difficulty answering questions according to the contents of the story. While the factors that affect the difficulty of reading comprehension skills are intellectual factors, psychological factors, environmental factors and physiological factors.

Abstract

Abstract. This research was carried out with the aim to describe the planning, implementation, and model evaluation on natural science learning of the 5th grade students at SD Negeri Karangasem II in the 2019/2020 academic year. A tecaher and students which amounts to 39 persons becomes the subjects of research. Data collection technique using observation, interview, and documentation. Data analysis technique in this research based on the interactive analysis Miles and Huberman with data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Data validation using triangulation of technique and source. Research result showed that the critical thinking ability students uses theory of constructivism on natural science learning model not yet applied by the teacher so that learners experiencing problems. Students can not make premise and draw a conclusion yet. This research is expected to add scientific insight for the teacher, school, and other reserachers in development and application critical thinking ability.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the implementation of the project to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students Entrepreneurship theme at Karangasem 2 State Elementary School starting from the planning, implementation, and evaluation stages. This research approach is qualitative using the case study method. The data sources for this research are the school principal, fourth grade teachers, and fourth grade students. Data collection techniques were carried out using observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique uses interactive model analysis techniques. The results of this research indicate that the P5 planning for the Entrepreneurship theme has not been implemented optimally, as shown by Karangasem 2 State Elementary School not developing the capacity of educators in implementing P5 and the team of facilitators and fourth grade educators not creating a flow of P5 activities when implementing P5. In addition, educators do not carry out diagnostic assessments on students before implementing P5. The implementation of P5 Entrepreneurship theme has not been carried out optimally, as shown by Karangasem 2 State Elementary School not yet optimizing the involvement of partners or the community outside the education unit to become learning resources for students. Evaluation and follow-up on P5 of the Entrepreneurship theme is by inviting the school environment to think about ways to optimize the impact and benefits of profile projects.
