Abstract

This study aims to find out the effect of the Roundconsen (Roundtable-Concept Sentence) learning model on the ability to write explanatory texts for eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 28 Jakarta. The study was conducted in the 2019/2020 school year, the second semester in May in class VIII E. The research method used in this study was an experimental method with a pre-experimental one group. pretest-posttest design with a sample of 27 students. The prerequisite test for data analysis was performed with the Liellifors test, obtained Lo = 0.0974 <Lt = 0.1665 at the pretest with a significance level α = 0.05 and Lo = 0.0806 <Lt = 0.1665 at the posttest the significance level α = 0,05, then the data are normally distributed. Homogeneity test results obtained by fisher test, = 1,08 and = 4.23, obtained that < , this shows that the data used are homogeneous at the significance level α = 0.05. The results showed that there was an increase in the average value at the time before and after being given treatment, at the time of the pretest, the average value obtained was 47.96. Then at the posttest, the average value obtained was 83.03. Based on the results of calculating the hypothesis using the t-test, = 13.39 is greater than = 2.29 in the real level (α = 0.05). This indicates that there is an influence of the use of the roundtable concept concept on the ability to write explanatory texts in eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 28 Jakarta. This roundconsen learning model can also be used in learning to write exposition text. The use of this roundconsen model can be complemented by the use of interesting learning media. Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh pemahaman mendalam mengenai tindak tutur ilokusi dalam interaksi pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia. Penelitian ini dilakukan dari bulan November 2016 hingga Maret 2017 di kelas XII IPS, SMA Ehipassiko School BSD. Penelitian ini difokuskan pada tindak tutur ilokusi, dengan subfokus kategori tindak tutur ilokusi, jenis tindak tutur ilokusi, dan fungsi tindak tutur ilokusi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan mengambil kajian etnografi komunikasi untuk meneliti tindak tutur ilokusi dalam situasi yang sebenarnya. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dengan metode observasi, simak, rekam, dan wawancara. Data tersebut kemudian dikelompokkan ke dalam pasangan tuturan dengan unit analisis situasi komunikatif, peristiwa komunikatif, dan tindak komunikatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat empat kategori tindak tutur ilokusi yang ditemukan dalam interaksi pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di kelas XII IPS yaitu kategori asertif, direktif, komisif, dan ekspresif. Kategori-kategori tersebut tersebar ke dalam beberapa jenis yang memiliki fungsinya masing-masing.Kata Kunci : Tindak Tutur Ilokusi, Etnografi Komunikasi ABSTRACTThis research aims to obtain the deepest understanding about illocutionary speech act of Indonesian Language learning interaction. This research was conducted from November 2016 until March 2017 at class XII IPS, SMA Ehipassiko School BSD. This research focuses on category of illocutionary speech act, and subfocuses on type of illocutionary speech act and function of illocutionary speech act. This research ia a qualitative research using ethnography communication for research illocutionary speech act in a real situation. The data is collected through observation, listening, recording, and interview. The data is then grouped into pair of utterances with unit analysis communicative situation, communicative event, and communicative act. The result showed four categories of illocutionary speech act during Indonesia language learning interaction at grade XII IPS namely: assertive, directive, commisive, and ekspressive among several types which have their own function.Key Word : Illocutionary Speech Act, Ethnography of Communication

Abstract

The purpose of this study in general is to gain a deep understanding of the learning approach to writing at SMAN 1 Cipanas. This study uses a qualitative approach with ethnographic methods based on the consideration that this study intends to examine and examine in more depth the Indonesian language learning approach. The results of the study illustrate that the approaches used at SMAN 1 Cipanas are communicative, scientific, collaborative, text genre, and student-centered approaches. With the approach used by the teacher, students become more active in the learning process, learning is more meaningful and efficient and fosters student interest.

Abstract

This study aims to improve understanding of the concept of fractions in mathematics lessons for fifth grade students in SDIT YPI "45" Bekasi through the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) Approach. The research method that will be carried out is using the action research procedure (Action Research) model of Kemmis and Taggart using a spiral system. In each cycle include planning (planning), action (implementation), observation (observation) and reflection (reflection) stages. action research was conducted in class V with 21 students. This research instrument is in the form of interviews, observation sheets and field notes. The results of observation of student activities in learning cycle I and cycle II obtained an increase with a percentage of 79.27% ​​with enough categories, increasing to 92.15% with very good categories. The percentage of students who completed the pre-cycle stage was 52.38%, the first cycle was 71.4%, and the second cycle increased again to 85.7%. The score percentage of each indicator of concept comprehension ability has increased every cycle, such as understanding comprehension, in the first cycle students who are able to answer correctly are 85%, cycle II increases to 100%. The problem of understanding the interpretation of students in the first cycle that was able to answer correctly by 75% increased in the second cycle to 100%. Whereas for extrapolation understanding questions, in the first cycle students who were able to answer only 25%, the second cycle increased to 50%. The results of the findings data, it can be said that the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) learning approach can improve understanding of the concept of fractions in mathematics in class V SDIT YPI "45" Bekasi. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep pecahan pada pelajaran matematika pada siswa kelas V di SDIT YPI “45” Bekasi melalui Pendekatan Realistic Mathematics Education (RME). Metode penelitian yang akan dilakukan adalah menggunakan prosedur penelitian tindakan (Action Research) model Kemmis dan Taggart dengan menggunakan sistem spiral. Dalam setiap siklus meliputi tahapan planning (perencanaan), action (pelaksanaan), observation (observasi) dan reflection (refleksi). penelitian tindakan dilakukan di kelas V dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 21 siswa. Instrumen penelitan ini berbentuk wawancara, lembar observasi dan catatan lapangan. Hasil observasi aktivitas siswa pada pembelajaran siklus I dan siklus II memperoleh peningkatan dengan persentase 79,27% dengan kategori cukup, meningkat menjadi 92,15% dengan kategori sangat baik. Persentase siswa yang tuntas pada tahap prasiklus sebesar 52,38%, siklus I menjadi 71,4%, dan siklus II meningkat kembali menjadi 85,7%. Persentase skor tiap indikator kemampuan pemahaman konsep mengalami peningkatan setiap siklusnya seperti soal pemahaman translasi, pada siklus I siswa yang mampu menjawab benar sebesar 85%, siklus II meningkat menjadi 100%. Soal pemahaman interprestasi siswa pada siklus I yang mampu menjawab benar sebesar 75% meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 100%. Sedangkan untuk soal pemahaman ekstrapolasi, pada siklus I siswa yang mampu menjawab hanya 25%, siklus II meningkat menjadi 50%. Hasil data penemuan tersebut, dapat dikatakan bahwa pendekatan pembelajaran Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep pecahan pada pelajaran matematika di kelas V SDIT YPI “45” Bekasi. Abstract

In the class, most of the teacher use a single teaching strategy to students who have different cognitive styles when teaching narrative essays in the class. Therefore, it is necessary to improve teaching strategies in the teaching and learning process. The teaching strategies that fit with the cognitive style of students in order that the learning objective is improved. This paper investigates the effect of learning strategy and cognitive style on student’s narrative writing ability. This study was conducted on the VII grade students at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Ibnu Taimiyah Bogor, West Java. Treatment by level design and two-factorial ANOVA analysis with α = 0.05 were applied in this experimental study. The sample was 40 students grouped into experiment classes and 40 students was grouped into control classes. There was a different ability in narrative writing in Bahasa Indonesia between students having field independent cognitive style (A1) and students having field dependent cognitive style (A2). Results of two-way interrow analysis of variance showed that Fcalculated (4.123) was higher than Ftable (3.97) at a significant level of α = 0.05. The findings showed the ability to write a narrative writing in Bahasa Indonesia of students having a field independent cognitive style was higher than that of students having a field dependent cognitive style.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the function of rhymes in the marriage customs of the Riau Malay community. The approach used is the sociology of literature. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Informants in this study are rhymes at marriage. The results showed that the function of the rhyme in the marriage of the Riau Malay community was (1) as a cultural identity; (2) as a conjunction or tongue; (3) education about culture; (4) as a symbol explanation; and (5) as a guide or procedure. This research has implications for the development of the Indonesian language and literature in universities and schools.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan fungsi pantun pada adat perkawinan masyarakat Melayu Riau. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah Sosiologi sastra. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Informan dalam penelitian ini adalah tukang pantun pada pernikahan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa fungsi pantun pada perkawinan masyarakat Melayu Riau adalah (1) sebagai identitas budaya; (2) sebagai penyambung kata atau lidah; (3) pendidikan tentang budaya; (4) sebagai penjelasan simbol; dan (5) sebagai petunjuk atau tata cara. Penelitian ini dapat diimplikasikan bagi perkembangan ilmu bahasa dan sastra Indonesia di perguruan tinggi maupun di sekolah.

Abstract

The use of cohesion in text can create relationships between elements of language in communication so that effective communication is created for language users. This study aims to describe the use of grammatical cohesion and lexical cohesion in the text of the report on the results of the observation of Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program at Pakuan University, Bogor. This study uses a descriptive and qualitative approach while the method used is the method proposed by Halliday and Hasan regarding cohesion. Based on the results of the research conducted, it was found that the use of grammatical cohesion in the form of references, substitutions, ellipsis and conjunctions, and lexical cohesion consisted of synonymy, hypernymy and collocation in the observation report text of Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program at Bogor Pakuan University.

Abstract

Kelemahan UMKM, salah satunya yaitu mengenai pemasaran (iklan). Era sekarang, iklan dilakukan dengan berbasis teknologi/digital. Oleh karena itu, pegiat UMKM harus memahami budaya iklan dalam literasi digital. Konten iklan dalam dunia literasi digital sangat variatif dan cepat perubahannya. Dengan memahami dan menguasai konten iklan yang baik dan menarik diharapkan UMKM dapat mengembangkan jejaring dan pada akhirnya dapat berdampak pada peningkatan penjualan. Untuk menambah pemahaman dan penguasaan pegiat UMKM terhadap konten iklan berbasis digital diperlukan adanya berbagai pelatihan khusus. Pelatihan ini dibuat dalam kerangka pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dimulai dari paparan mengenai konten iklan sampai dengan mencoba mengimplementasikannya pada produk UMKM. Hasil dari pelatihan, pemahaman, sikap, dan keterampilan pelaku UMKM dalam berliterasi digital untuk menunjang kegiatan usaha yang dijalankan meningkat. Hal ini terlihat dari hasil kuesioner yang diisi oleh para peserta yang berisikan kepuasan, kebermanfaatan, dan keberlanjutan rata-rata diisi pada kolom sangat puas (70-75%) dan puas (25-30%).
