Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of the documentary film "Rengasdengklok" on student learning outcomes in History. The research method used was an experimental research method with a pre-test and post-test control group design. The subjects were 11th-grade students divided into two groups: an experimental group and a control group. The research instrument was a learning outcome test administered before and after the treatment. Based on the data analysis, it was found that the use of the documentary film "Rengasdengklok" had no significant effect on students' History learning outcomes. This indicates that the documentary films significant contribution to improving student learning outcomes. The results of this study are expected to serve as a reference for teachers in selecting appropriate learning media and as a reference for further research related to the effectiveness of using learning media in improving learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research is a historical research with the theme of Women's History. his study aims to describe women's involvement in local politics in the Sarolangun Regency DPRD throughout 2004 – 2024. The method used in this research is a historical research method consisting of several stages, namely heuristics, criticism, interpretation, and historiography. The primary source used in this research is an interview with female officials in the Sarolangun Regency DPRD. While the secondary sources used are books, theses, journals and internet sources. The results of the study show that women can also have the same place as men with a point of view that can be considered in the political world, being a female official is also a challenge in managing the household and as a public worker. The research findings show that female officials have their own unique ways of managing household chores and their roles as public officials.

Abstract

This research is a historical research with an economic theme. The main problem in this research is the economic life of Vegetable Ojek operators in Lubuk Bedorong Village from 2003 to 2024. For this reason, a problem formulation will be made with several questions that will be discussed more clearly in the following chapters, namely; How has the development of vegetable ojek in Lubuk Bedorong Village and Why vegetable ojek still survives in Lubuk Bedorong Village until now. The method used in this research is a historical research method consisting of several stages, namely heuristics, criticism, interpretation, and historiography. The primary source used in this research is an interview with vegetable ojek operators, village elders, and the community in Lubuk Bedorong Village. While secondary sources used are books, theses, journals and internet sources. The results of the study provide an explanation where vegetable ojek operators who trade in Lubuk Bedorong Village have a prosperous life where they are able to send their children to school and meet their family's needs and vegetable ojek has a much-needed impact on the community in Lubuk Bedorong Village who still operates trading in the Village.

Abstract

This research aims to develop AI-based self-assessment method to optimize EFL inclusive learning. This study employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using ADDIE model consisting of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. AI based self-assessment module was created to allow students to reflect on their own learning and receive simple feedback that fits their needs. The sample of this study involved 20 university students. AI-based self-assessment module was designed with user-friendly explanations, self-check questions, reflection activities, and AI-generated feedback. The data were validated by material experts with an average score of 3.5, categorized as very good. Therefore, it can be concluded that developing AI-based self-assessment method is appropriate to be implemented in inclusive learning. The result shows that the module is helpful and suitable to be used in EFL inclusive classrooms. It made learning more flexible, helped students to understand the material better, and supported them to learn more independently. This implies that lecturers can start using AI-based self-assessment modules as practical tools to support every student’s learning needs. By giving students simple feedback and space to reflect on their progress, this approach can help them become more confident, independent, and actively involved in their own learning.

Abstract

Tujuan dari program pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilaksanakan di dusun lowoksari melalui pengajaran dan pembiasaan (habituasi) nilai-nilai keagamaan dan keterampilan melalui kegiatan rohani trampil. Salah satu upaya yang dapat menunjang adalah kegiatan pendampingan pengajaran mengaji, hafalan surah pendek, dan muroja’ah. Dan juga melakukan kegiatan publick speeking, adzan, dan mewarna. Partisipan dalam kegiatan adalah anak TPQ Salafiyah Lowoksari Karangploso. Hasil KSM-T ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan anak TPQ dalam mengamalkan amaliyah keagamaan khususnya Amaliyah Aswaja Annadiyah, dan meningkatkan dan mengembangkan kamampuan dan ketrampilan mereka melalui pelatihan bahasa dan al banjari.

Abstract

Pengabdian Masyarakat adalah kegiatan yang wajib dilaksanakan Dosen sebagai kegiatan wajib untuk memenuhi Beban Kinerja Dosen (BKD) khususnya dalam Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi. Pengabdian yang dilaksanakan Dosen Program Studi Statistika adalah pengabdian dalam bentuk pelatihan. Masa pandemi tidak membuat dosen statistika berkecil hati dalam melaksanakan pengabdian, kami melaksanakan pengabdian dalam bentuk webinar dan dengan materi yang saat ini sedang digemari kalangan peneliti yaitu analisis regresi dan korelasi untuk data science. Kerangka teoritis pelatihan ini yaitu mulai dari pemaparan materi, workshop hingga simulasi yang langsung dipandu oleh narasumber menggunakan software R. Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan peserta pelatihan tentang penggunaan software R khususnya pada analisis regresi dan korelasi pada era big data. Jumlag peserta pada pelatihan ini sebanyak 95 peserta, yang berasal dari beragam kalangan. Peserta tertinggi yang dapat dikatakan tertarik dengan pelatihan ini adalah mahasiswa, sebanyak 49% dari 95 peserta, sedangkan sisanya adalah berprofesi sebagai dosen, guru dan PNS. Hasil evaluasi dari pelatihan ini, diketahui bahwa rata-rata peserta pelatihan telah mengerti tentang materi yang disampaikan narasumber, evaluasi ini diketahui dari persentase jawaban peserta dalam menjawab soal yang diberikan mayoritas sudah lebih dari 50%.

Abstract

Religious tourism is a form of travel activity to a special place that is related to the religious field. This activity has its own meaning for every member of a particular religion. The purpose of this study is to explain and describe the principles of fairness and togetherness in the division of land at the religious tourism object of Sapuro. The study used a qualitative descriptive method. It is research by describing and interpreting the meaning of data that has been collected through the stages of observation and interviews. This information is in the form of a brief biography about the Sapuro Tomb, the principles of fairness in the distribution of land at the Sapuro religious tourism object, as well as the principle of togetherness in the distribution of land at the Sapuro religious tourism object. The principle of fairness in the distribution of land in Sapuro Tomb religious tourism is carried out by taking a number to get the land for sale. It has been approved by the traders and this method is considered fair. The principle of togetherness in the distribution of land in Sapuro religious tourism is seen in how local traders of the Sapuro village happily accept traders who are from outside the Sapuro village.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the Youth Creative Breakfast Market (PASAR KAMU) located in Denai Lama Village, Pantai Labu District, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra. This study uses a case study approach. The object of this study is the Youth Creative Breakfast Market (PASAR KAMU). Data sources consist of individuals directly and indirectly involved in the activity. To collect data, the researcher used several techniques including documentation, observation, and interviews. Data analysis in this study uses an interpretive approach that aims to achieve a comprehensive understanding of facts, data, and phenomena. This study focuses on the community empowerment process carried out in three stages: the discovery of the PASAR KAMU model, capacity transformation, and capability enhancement. The community empowerment program implemented includes tourism awareness education, training in managing PASAR KAMU as a culinary tourism area, traditional musical instrument training, and entrepreneurship training. The empowerment activities carried out by the Area Kawan Lama group for PASAR KAMU volunteers have resulted in an increased entrepreneurial spirit among young people, increased family income, and contributed to the preservation of regional arts and culture, especially performing arts and traditional Javanese and Malay foods.

Abstract

Both Indonesia and Estonia have similar contexts of learning English as a foreign language.  The learning achievements reveal a considerable disparity when considering the worldwide assessment of English proficiency, with Indonesia ranking 79th and Estonia securing the 23rd position according to the (EF English Proficiency Index in 2023). This study compares English curricula in Indonesia and Estonia, examining the differences between them despite similar conditions for teaching English as a foreign language. The fundamental goal of the study was to identify the factors that influence diverse learning outcomes in various countries. The study used content analysis to compare curricular papers from both countries on six critical criteria including: (1) stakeholders involved in English curriculum development, (2) stakeholders' reactions to the English curriculum, (3) stated purposes of the curriculum, (4) educational philosophies underlying the English curricula, (5) unstated purposes of the curricula, and (6) influential factors shaping the curricula. The analysis suggested that the key drivers to the discrepancy in learning results in both countries were national policy, pedagogy, and assessment implementations. The results showed that the main result of the mentioned alterations underscored the need for an enhanced approach to the instruction and acquisition of English. Allocating sufficient time for English learning allows students to maximize their opportunities for developing language skills. Moreover, integrating speaking and writing elements into final evaluations and embracing a communicative language strategy can inspire both educators and learners to participate in more genuine learning experiences.

Abstract

Abstrak. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk : 1) mengetahui pengaruh model PBL terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa, 2) mengetahui pengaruh model PBL terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa, 3) mengetahui pengaruh model PBL terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif, dan 4) ‘mengetahui pengaruh kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis dan berpikir kritis secara bersama-sama terhadap berpikir kreatif siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu dengan sampel penelitian sebanyak 72 siswa yaitu kelas Fase E SMA Hang Tuah 5 Sidoarjo yang dipilih dengan menggunakan cluster random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan instrumen: tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah, berpikir kritis, dan berpikir kreatif. Teknik analisis data pada rumusan masalah pertama sampai ketiga dilakukan menggunakan uji ANCOVA dan rumusan masalah keempat menggunakan uji multivariat. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan : (1) adanya pengaruh signifikan model PBL terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah, (2) adanya pengaruh  signifikan model PBL terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis, (3) adanya pengaruh signifikan model PBL terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif, dan (4) adanya pengaruh signifikan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis dan berpikir kritis secara bersama-sama terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif sebesar 87, 8%.
