Abstract

Abstract Skills Talking Students With Low Self-Esteem At The Junior High Schools Global Islamic Boarding School (GIBS) Barito Kuala. Speaking is the main means of fostering mutual understanding, mutual communication, using language as its medium. Speaking activities in language classes have aspects of two-way communication, namely between the speaker and listeners reciprocally (Ngalimun & Alfulaila: 2014: 55). The purpose of this study is to provide an overview of the speaking skills possessed by GIBS Middle School students who have low self-esteem. The stages of this research method use descriptive qualitative research methods. The data in this study were oral and written data in the form of observations, oral interviews, and written questionnaires. The data source in this study is GIBS Middle School students who have low self-esteem. In SMP GIBS, out of 107 students there were 5 people (4.67%) students classified as having high self-esteem, 95 people (88.79%) students were classified as having moderate self-esteem, and 7 people (4.67%) students are classified as having low self-esteem. From this data, further action is taken on students who have low self-esteem in the form of interviews, storytelling through arranged images, and group discussion forums (FGD). From the follow-up actions, it was found that there are several aspects that can describe a person's speaking skills, namely aspects of the quantity of sentence production, sentence quality (the appropriateness of the answers to the questions during the interview / question and answer), structure, and diction. Key words: speaking skills, self-esteem Abstrak Keterampilan Berbicara Siswa dengan Self-Esteem Rendah di SMP Global Islamic Boarding School (GIBS) Barito Kuala. Berbicara merupakan sarana utama untuk membina saling pengertian, komunikasi timbal balik, dengan menggunakan bahasa sebagai medianya. Kegiatan berbicara di dalam kelas bahasa mempunyai aspek komunikasi dua arah, yakni antara pembicara dengan pendengar secara timbal balik (Ngalimun & Alfulaila: 2014:55). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memberikan gambaran mengenai keterampilan berbicara yang dimiliki oleh siswa SMP GIBS yang memiliki self-esteem rendah. Tahapan metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Data dalam penelitian ini adalah data lisan dan tulisan berupa pengamatan, wawancara secara lisan, dan angket tertulis. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa SMP GIBS yang mempunyai self-esteem rendah. Di SMP GIBS, dari 107 orang siswa terdapat 5 orang (4,67%) siswa tergolong mempunyai self-esteem tinggi, 95 orang (88,79%) siswa tergolong mempunyai self-esteem sedang, dan 7 orang (4,67%) siswa tergolong mempunyai self-esteem rendah. Dari data tersebut, dilakukan tindakan lanjutan terhadap siswa yang mempunyai self-esteem rendah berupa wawancara, bercerita melalui gambar yang dirangkai, dan forum group discussion (FGD). Dari tindakan lanjutan tersebut didapatkan hasil bahwa terdapat beberapa aspek yang dapat mendeskripsikan keterampilan berbicara seseorang, yaitu aspek kuantitas produksi kalimat, kualitas kalimat (kesesuaian jawaban dengan pertanyaan pada saat wawancara/tanya jawab), struktur, dan diksi. Abstract

Character education is an important part in the world of education that functions to develop and shape the character and civilization of a dignified nation in order to educate the nation's life. One way to shape children's character is by introducing children's songs that contain positive values and moral messages in it. This study discusses the values of character education in children's songs which can also be a medium for BIPA learning. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The research results obtained are in line with what is needed in the research.

Abstract

This service aims to improve the ability to write short stories for students of Madrasah Aliyah Raudhatusyubban using characterization techniques and three-word strategies. The method of activities used in this service is in the form of training / workshops and the results of the training are in the form of short paragraphs about short stories made. The training participants were 38 students from Aliyah Raudhatusyubban Madrasah.The results of the service show that students have an interest in the field of writing short stories but are constrained by ignorance in expressing ideas. The training of writing short stories using characterization techniques and three-word strategies is expected to be a solution for students to improve their ability to write short stories.

Abstract

Pragmatics is a branch of linguistics that studies the language used to communicate in certain situations. In a specific context, this definition means that apart from the language used to communicate, there are also other aspects that cannot be separated from linguistic research. This research aims to find out whether there are violations of the principle of politeness in the Podhub podcast episode with Prilly Latuconsina and Teuku Rizky. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive method and data collection techniques by listening to every word in the podcast carefully, thoroughly and seriously. The research results show that in the Podhub podcast there are violations of the principles of politeness in the form of the maxim of wisdom, the maxim of generosity, the maxim of acceptance, the maxim of humility, the maxim of suitability, and the maxim of sympathy.Keywords: Podcast, Podhub, Violation of the Principles of Decency

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze hate speech in the comments column of the SCTV YouTube account regarding the Leslar Domestic Violence case. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with a descriptive design. The data in this study were collected through observation, listening and reading. The results of the study show that social media is an online-based communication tool that can be used to communicate remotely, not only that we can obtain various kinds of information from social media. This is what makes social media share a positive impact on human social life. Hate speech is interpreted as words, behavior and writing carried out by individuals or groups in the form of provocation, incitement, or insults to other individuals or groups. After conducting an analysis and discussion of hate speech that is rife on social media, it was found that most of the hate speech in the form of words or phrases was deliberately used to express the hatred of device users against an individual, none other than artist Risky Bilar.

Abstract

The research aims to discovering the description of understanding concept critical thinking skills of students, the difference of understanding concept critical thinking skills of student, and the correlation between understanding concept and critical thinking skills of students who were taught using discovery learning model and direct instruction on reaction rate material in grade XI MIA at SMAN 8 Takalar. The study was conducted at SMAN 8 Takalar with two classes as research subjects, class XI MIA 1 taught by using discovery learning model and class XI MIA 2 taught by using direct instruction on reaction with 25 students each. Data were analyzed descriptively and inferentially. The results of the study reveal that 1) the understanding concept on class taught by using discovery learning model was in good category; whereas class taught by using direct instruction model was in moderate category; 2) the critical thinking skills of both classes were in critical categories. Therefore, the conclusions of the study are (i) the understanding concept of students who were taught by using discovery learning model had gain average higher than the ones using direct instruction model, (ii) the critical thinking skill of student who were taught using discovery learning model had gain average higher than the ones taught using direct instruction learning model, (iii) there was correlation between understanding concept and critical thinking skill of students taught by using discovery learning model and direct instruction learning model.

Abstract

Puskesmas sebagai fasilitas kesehatan primer bertanggungjawab terhadap penyelenggaraan pelayanan kesehatan di wilayahnya, termasuk pelayanan SDIDTK. Pelayanan Kesehatan harus sesuai dengan Standar Pelayanan Minimal (SPM). Tujuan Penelitian untuk mengetahui gambaran evaluasi program pelaksana pelayanan kesehatan balita di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Batumandi. Metode penelitian kualitatif, subjek penelitian terdiri dari informan utama dan informan trianggulasi. Intrumen yang digunakan berupa pedoman wawancara. Hasil penelitian didapatkan aspek input meliputi man yaitu bidan desa, bidan Puskesmas, gizi, aparat desa dan kader yang bekerja sesuai dengan tupoksi masing-masing. Money berasal dari APBD, DAK dan dana desa. Material yaitu alat-alat pengukur timbangan, pemberian makanan tambahan dan permainan edukatif. Machines yaitu komputer/laptop dan jaringan internet. Method yaitu buku-buku pedoman terkait pelaksanaan program pelayanan kesehatan balita. Aspek proses program pelaksana pelayanan kesehatan balita meliputi perencanaan yaitu pelaksanaan sesuai dengan SOP yang telah ditetapkan sedangkan pelaksanaan sesuai dengan perencanaan dan jadwal yang telah ditentukan. Aspek output meliputi monitoring yaitu dengan melakukan rapat bulanan dan dilakukan secara berkala satu bulan sekali sedangkan evaluasi telah dilakukan dan mengalami kendala yaitu kekurangan tenaga kesehatan dan deteksi dini kesehatan balita.

Abstract

The uswah hasanah approach exemplifies the learning method as a personality-forming agent. Uswah hasanah is an ever-present form of instruction. Through the resuscitation of Acehnese oral folklore based on art, the purpose of this research was to investigate the design process and efficacy of the module created utilizing the uswah hasanah technique. This research utilizes a research and development methodology. The model employed is the creation of a four-dimensional model. The 4-D development model (Four D) is a development paradigm for learning devices. The 4D development paradigm has four major phases: Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The study of the module validation findings by the Indonesian Language Lecturer revealed a mean score of 3.92, placing it in the extremely valid category (3.5 V 4). On the basis of these results, it can be stated that the module designed by the researcher is suitable for field testing on a limited scale. The success of the module employing the Uswah Hasanah Method via the Revitalization of Aceh Oral Folklore Based on Art will be determined by conducting a restricted test on students of the Indonesian Language Education Department in Semester I of the Literary Theory Course.

Abstract

Language is a human communication system that is used to understand each other with certain goals. This research aims to find out the process of language development in three year old children. The method used in this research is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The results of the research found that Aqila can now say 2 to 4 words such as drink milk, Dad buy snacks. By using data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and documentation. The results of interviews with the child's parents and observing directly his language development showed that this child experienced language development according to the level at his age, including the words mother, father, sister, brother, milk, traveling. This research can conclude that Aqila often omits several phonemes or even adds phonemes to her vocabulary. Such as changing the consonant phoneme /k/ to consonant phoneme /t/, and changing the consonant phoneme /l/ to consonant phoneme /r/.

Abstract

One of the complaints that are often experienced by pregnant women is sleep disorders. Sleep disorders that occur in pregnant women are a reduction in sleep duration. According to a 2012 survey by the National Sleep Foundation, about 78% of pregnant women in America have trouble sleeping. While in Indonesia 97% of pregnant women experience sleep disorders in the third trimester. The purpose of this study is to determine the evaluation of the implementation of prenatal yoga with the quality of sleep of III trimester pregnant women at the Olive Sahabat Bunda Clinic. This research method is a quantitative research type of descriptive analytical research design used is one group pre test post test design. The number of samples used was 30 respondents. The variables of the study were prenatal yoga and sleep quality. The measuring instrument or instrument in this study was the Pittsburg Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) questionnaire. The results of this study showed that before prenatal yoga, 23 respondents (23.3%) had poor sleep quality at night and only 7 respondents (76.7%) had good sleep quality.
