Abstract

Technology is a symbol of technological development progress. Millennials are considered technologically literate who currently provide facilities for investors to freely choose how to invest. Information about the types and ways of investment is available so abundant, especially with the internet media, potential investors can search for as much information as possible. Library Research studies libraries and other scientific works related to the problems studied, Normative legal research in the form of data obtained from literature studies. Nowadays millennials are starting to be interested in investing in the stock exchange. According to Indonesia Stock Exchange data about 60-70% of young investors aged up to 40 years invest in the stock exchange. The increase in millennial retail investors is also happening because the ordering system can be done online making transactions easier. Investment interest in Indonesia has continued to grow in recent times. Keywords: Technology, Millennials, Investments.

Abstract

The challenges of changing times need serious attention regarding how to use the internet safely, especially in the world of commerce such as e-commerce without experiencing difficulties due to the unpreparedness of various aspects in Indonesia, especially the legal aspects related to electronic commerce in order to anticipate the possibility that occurs, such as cases of default between consumers. with the manufacturer. The purpose of this study is to identify how effective the consumer protection is carried out by the Indonesian state regarding consumer protection in Law Number 8 of 1999. The research method used by the author is a type of normative - juridical research, which is descriptive of literature analysis. Applying a literature and literature study approach to consumer protection. Default issues between consumers and producers are usually resolved through the courts or by alternative dispute resolution methods, such as through litigation or non-litigation efforts. The problems that occur today include the efforts of justice seekers, namely consumers who are harmed due to default on e-commerce transactions that are hindered by the considerable distance between buyers and traders. E-commerce and court processes are also time-consuming and require sophisticated mechanisms. The conclusions of this study explain the lack of effective consumer protection regulated by Law Number: 8 of 1999 when trading transactions through e-commerce in the event of a default dispute. There are still many default problems that are often encountered between consumers and producers through e-commerce when transacting. Keywords: E-commerce, Default, Consumer

Abstract

The rampant circulation of dangerous medicinal substances in Indonesia is concerned with the lack of legal awareness of business actors who are trying to achieve maximum profit by ignoring the enormous negative impact on the wider community. Acts that violate these norms must be held accountable. So that this research is considered important to find out how the legal responsibility of pharmaceutical companies for the circulation of drugs containing hazardous materials. This research method uses a normative juridical approach, the research specification uses an analytical description. The types and techniques of data collection in this study were carried out by literature study methods and data analysis methods used in this study using qualitative data analysis. The legality of pharmaceutical companies as business actors is very important. In addition, in producing and/or distributing pharmaceutical preparations such as drugs, medicinal ingredients, traditional medicines and cosmetics, they must meet standards and not violate the law. Abstract

The tragedy at the Kanjuruhan Stadium has claimed quite a number of victims, including 133 victims who died. This is certainly a special concern in the legal field, where victims need to be given legal protection. Legal protection is provided in the UUPK and UUKOR, and is based on criminal and civil law. This legal protection is further proven by the results of the investigation conducted by TGIPF in investigating the tragedy. This research is based on empirical events that were studied normatively with a library approach by processing secondary data deductively, in order to obtain in-depth information on how to protect consumers who are victims of the law. Abstract

Companies usually decide to merge with the aim of increasing the variety of business fields, funds, the level of efficiency of company management, to liquidity. Although a merger can bring many advantages, it also has some negative effects that can occur. Especially for the parties in the company. One of them is the employee. The problems that will be studied by the author in this study are: 1). What is the impact of the merger on employees; 2). How is the legal protection due to the merger of companies (merger) for employees. This research is a normative juridical research. The results of this study conclude that the impact of the merger for employees is that layoffs can occur which are very detrimental. Therefore, legal protection must be given to employees to ensure justice for them. Keywords: Merger; Impact and Legal Protection; Employee.

Abstract

In the preparation of this article, which aims to discuss the problem of violating the law and criminal sanctions against copyright infringement in piracy and distribution of pirated films. Copyright (Copyright) is the right of the creator that appears by itself based on a declarative principle after the realization of the Work in a tangible form without restrictions according to laws and regulations. The results in this article aim to find out how copyright law enforces the practice of film piracy due to the rampant piracy and distribution of pirated films and what sanctions will be received by the perpetrators of film piracy practices. The perpetrators of piracy must receive applicable sanctions in accordance with the regulations regulated in Law Number 28 of 2014 concerning Copyright and the Indonesian people need to receive education about the forms of sanctions that apply to copyright violators because the practice of film piracy can violate the Act Copyright Law whose laws and sanctions have been regulated therein.
