Abstract

The use of telemedicine as an information technology innovation in health services is one of the important strategies in improving quality services, especially in the era of digitalization of the health system. This study aims to capture patient perceptions and satisfaction with the use of telemedicine services at the X Hospital using the HOT-Fit Model approach. This study uses a quantitative method with a cross-sectional design and SmartPLS-based Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis, involving 380 randomly selected respondents. Data was collected by filling out a questionnaire via Google Form. The results of the study indicate that there is a significant relationship between human, organizational, and technological variables on the net benefits or utilization of telemedicine. The technological factor has the most dominant influence both directly on utilization and indirectly through improving the quality of human resources and organizational support. These findings emphasize the importance of investing in technological infrastructure, increasing digital human resource literacy, and the role of organizations in supporting the successful implementation of telemedicine services.

Abstract

Urban Heat Island is a phenomenon where surface temperatures are higher in urban areas than in rural areas. One of the cities that experienced this phenomenon was the city of Pare-pare, which was caused by the conversion of vegetation land into settlements due to rapid population growth. This study aims to determine the influence of land use on the Urban Heat Island phenomenon in Pare-pare City. The methods used include spatial analysis and descriptive analysis, secondary data collection in the study was obtained from the Indonesian Geospatial portal and Google Earth Engine and using ArcGis 10.8 software in conducting spatial analysis. The results of the analysis show that there are relationships such as Soreang, Ujung, West Bacukiki and also the north of Bacukiki District which experiences the Urban Heat Island phenomenon due to dense settlements and many road networks. Areas with land cover in the form of settlements and roads have higher surface temperatures than areas with high land cover in the form of vegetation such as the southeastern part of Bakkiki District. The impact of Urban Heat Island is that it causes a decrease in air quality and excessive energy use. The recommended mitigation is the implementation of environmentally friendly infrastructure such as greening around buildings, green roofs, and small parks. The results of this study can be used as useful information for the government in making sustainable spatial planning policies and to evaluate development to reduce the impact of Urban Heat Island.

Abstract

Sports have great potential in shaping the character of teenagers, but in Indonesia, they still focus more on achievement than self-value development. As a result, moral and social values that should be instilled through sports have not been optimally utilized, especially in the face of the value crisis and the increase in juvenile delinquency. This study aims to compare the values that teenagers learn through sports and to see if these values are different for boys and girls. The method used was a quantitative approach with a comparative survey design, involving 1,564 adolescents aged 12–18 years in the Bandung area, consisting of 762 boys and 802 girls. Sampling was carried out using the convenience sampling technique. The instrument used was the Youth Sport Values Questionnaire-2 (YSVQ-2), which measures three dimensions of values: morality, competence, and status. The technical aspects of the research include the preparation of instruments, coordination with schools, direct data collection, and data supervision and checking. The results showed that the total sports score of adolescent boys was 54.5 and girls was 53.4, with a difference of 1.1 points. The significance test yielded a value of 0.10 < 0.05, showing a significant difference between men and women in interpreting sports values. This study aims to compare the values teenagers learn through sports and to see if these values differ for boys and girls.

Abstract

The Community Service Program Group 02 in Surabaya aims to empower local communities through two main approaches: cultural revitalization and environmental sustainability. Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to examine the effect of product design and price on consumers’ impulsive buying behavior on Shopee. Design/Methodology/Approach: The research employed a quantitative approach with purposive sampling of 200 respondents who had purchased sublimation-printed fabric products under the Cannamolid Pattern brand on Shopee. Data were collected through a five-point Likert scale questionnaire. The validity and reliability of the instrument were tested, and the data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with t-tests and F-tests through SPSS version 29. Findings: The results show that: (1) product design has a positive and significant effect on impulsive buying (? = 0.499; t = 14.237; p < 0.001); (2) price also has a positive and significant effect (? = 0.325; t = 9.284; p < 0.001); and (3) product design and price simultaneously have a significant effect on impulsive buying, with F = 188.603 and p < 0.001. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.657 indicates that both variables explain 65.7% of the variance in impulsive buying, while the remaining 34.3% is influenced by other factors outside the model. Research limitations/implications: This study emphasizes the role of product design and pricing strategies as strong triggers of impulsive buying in e-commerce. However, future research is recommended to include psychological factors and other marketing aspects for a more comprehensive understanding. Practical implications: The findings provide practical insights for e-commerce sellers, particularly local brands, to pay closer attention to product design and pricing strategies in order to stimulate consumers’ impulsive purchases. Originality/value: Few studies have specifically examined how product design—especially fabric motifs—and pricing strategies affect impulsive buying on e-commerce platforms such as Shopee. This study contributes a new perspective by highlighting the context of local MSMEs selling patterned fabric products, making the findings especially relevant for small businesses competing in Indonesia’s digital marketplace.
