Abstract

This research aims to determine and analyze the relationship between study habits motivation and self-discipline and measure the academic performance of 2024 West Java PON Pelatda Student-Athletes in sports holding training camps at the Indonesian University of Education. The research methodology used is descriptive correlation research with a survey method using instruments and questionnaires. This research involved 51 athletes as respondents who were currently taking part in the West Java PON Pelatda and were still studying. The instruments used are motivation, study habits, self-discipline, and academic performance for student-athletes, to determine the relationship between study habits and motivation and self-discipline, and to determine the level of academic achievement of Pelatda athletes using descriptive formulas of percentage, frequency, mean, and multiple correlation test analysis using spss 26. The conclusion shows that study habits correlate with motivation and self-discipline with a moderate correlation level, with an R-value of 0.546. Abstract

Indonesia berada di posisi kelima negara dalam kasus perundungan terbanyak. Tidak Terkecuali hal ini terjadi pada sekolah jenjang SMP di kota besar seperti Jakarta. Kondisi tersebut menjadi latar belakang kegiatan Pemberdayaan Kemitraaan Masyarakat (PKM) yang dilakukan di SMPN 229. Tujuan dari kegiatan PKM ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam mengembangkan bahan ajar digital bermuatan komunikasi interkultural yang akan diterapkan dalam pembelajaran di kelas yang akan mendorong siswa untuk memiliki pengetahuan, sikap, dan kesadaran budaya yang berdampak positif dalam pembentukan perilaku siswa. Bahan ajar digital bermuatan komunikasi interkultural menekankan pemahaman kepada siswa untuk membangun hubungan yang baik, rasa hormat, toleransi terhadap orang lain dan menghargai budaya orang lain. Kegiatan PKM meliputi tahap sosialisasi, pelatihan, dan pendampingan dengan menggunakan metode presentasi, diskusi, review rekan sejawat, dan demonstrasi. Setelah mengikuti pelatihan dan pendampingan, sebanyak 75% guru mengalami peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam mengembangkan bahan ajar digital yang mengintegrasikan elemen interkultural yang dapat membentuk kewarganegaraan global siswa.

Abstract

Rendahnya kemampuan komunikasi matematis dan kepercayaan diri siswa sekolah menengah atas menjadi dasar penelitian ini. Peneliti menerapkan model pendekatan Round-Robin Brainstorming yang diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kedua aspek tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh model Round-Robin Brainstorming dalam meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis dan kepercayaan diri siswa. Populasi penelitian terdiri dari siswa kelas X di SMA Negeri 1 Seyegan, Kabupaten Sleman, Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta, dengan sampel diambil dari kelas X E2 dan X E3. Kelas X E2 berfungsi sebagai kelompok kontrol yang menggunakan metode pembelajaran konvensional, sedangkan kelas X E3 sebagai kelompok eksperimen yang menerapkan model pembelajaran Round-Robin Brainstorming. Kedua kelompok mengikuti pre-test dan post-test untuk mengumpulkan data yang akan dianalisis, serta menggunakan angket untuk menilai tingkat kepercayaan diri siswa. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara kuantitatif menggunakan aplikasi SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solutions) dengan uji independent sample t-test. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa kelompok yang menerapkan model pembelajaran Round-Robin Brainstorming mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan dalam kemampuan komunikasi matematis dan rasa percaya diri dibandingkan dengan kelompok yang menggunakan metode konvensional.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to evaluate RCM based production equipment categorized as Criticality A and B at PT EMC, Bojonegoro District. Research type is Qualitative Descriptive. Data collection technics are Interviews, Observations, and Documentations. Data analysis technics are Data Collection, Data Presentation, and Inference. Credibility method is used for data validation by extending the observation time and increasing accuracy. Research concluded that maintenance management at PT EMC is excellently applied. Maintenance program design are align with RCM manual, and even complemented by including several additional variables. The maintenance management program is well implemented and executed albeit there are room for improvements for future implementation.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the creative thinking abilities of students at SMP Negeri 1 Sedayu on Awakening material using descriptive methods. The sample in this study was 31 students in class VIII of SMP Negeri 1 Sedayu, even semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. The instruments used in this research were descriptive tests to obtain data on students' creative thinking abilities and interviews to complement and strengthen information originating from administering tests on congruence material that had been empirically validated. To see students' creative thinking abilities, 4 indicators are used, namely 1). Fluency (Fluency); 2) Flexibility; 3) originality (originality); 4). Elaboration (Elaboration). The data analysis technique used in this research is percentage analysis. Based on the analysis of data obtained for fluency indicators of 28%, flexibility of 23%, originality of 23%, and elaboration of 27%.

Abstract

Problems: Technology is very important in sports, both on and off the field. The use of technology-based applications in sports is very important in supporting athlete training systems and producing accurate data for measuring sports performance. Purpose: This research involves developing a conventional return board into a digital-based return board. Digital return board media can be used as a learning, evaluation, and coaching medium in table tennis games. The research carried out is research and development. Methods: Research and development (R&D) research is essentially an effort to develop a prototype of a research-based tool or device, namely the digitization of conventional return boards. After the media return board is produced, the next stage is to carry out analysis by validating the digital return board by experts. Results: The research used three experts, namely practitioner experts represented by test and measurement course lecturers, media experts who were experts in the field of computer programming, practitioners who were trainers, and professional athletes. Each expert will analyze each trial from a small scale to a large scale. The three experts gave an average of the test results on a scale of 80% after going through three stages, so this return board was deemed to meet the requirements to be used as a training and learning medium in table tennis games. Conclusion: It is hoped that the results of this research can become a technological medium in table tennis playing activities, especially in improving the performance of table tennis players based on accurate data.

Abstract

This study aims to see the effectiveness of Tour de Singkarak (TdS) in increasing tourist visits to West Sumatra. The Tour de Singkarak (TdS) international bicycle racing event is the main momentum for the revival of tourism in West Sumatra which was held for the first time in 2009. In this study, the authors used a systematic literature review method with a study of documentation from research-related data. The results showed that the International Tour de Singkarak cycling event was effective in increasing tourism visits to West Sumatra with a percentage increase of 125% or as many as 414,068 foreign tourists in the 2010-2019 period. Thus, it can be concluded that to improve the image of tourism in an area, it should be conceptualized with special events, one of which is sporting events.). Abstract

This research aims to analyze the quality of marine waters in the Saugi Island area, North Liukang Tupabbiring District, Pangkep Regency, and its impact on marine biota. This research uses a descriptive quantitative approach by processing data from field measurements and laboratory tests on several parameters. Furthermore, the test results will be compared with the standard requirements for seawater quality for the needs of marine biota by referring to the Decree of the Minister of the Environment No. 51 of 2004. In addition, a spatial analysis is carried out to see the predicted concentration distribution pattern for each measurement parameter. each of these parameters. The research results show that of the 10 research stations, only station 4 meets several seawater quality standards. The presence of waste at each station plays a significant role in reducing the value of quality parameters. In conclusion, the quality of seawater on the coast of Saugi Island is not good for marine biota. Therefore, efforts are needed to maintain the cleanliness of the coastal environment so that air quality is maintained, supports the life of marine biota, increases catches, and the potential for sustainability of marine ecosystems.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of value education within the context of Islamic education. The research utilizes a literature review method with a descriptive-analytical approach to collect and analyze data from various written sources, such as scholarly journals and books. The analysis is conducted qualitatively and conceptually to identify patterns and relationships relevant to the research topic. The application of value education in Islamic religious education aims to shape an ideal human being according to Islamic teachings by instilling deep moral and religious values. Islamic religious education must be based on the Qur'an and Hadith, integrating Islamic values into all aspects of education to develop insan kamil (a complete human being). Evaluation in Islamic religious education should also be comprehensive, addressing students' intellectual, moral, and skill development to ensure their growth aligns with the universal values of Islam.

Abstract

This article aims to explore the learning habits of student athletes at the Faculty of Sports Education and Health, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. Student athletes are faced with challenges in managing time between academic and sports activities, which requires effective and efficient learning strategies. This study identifies learning styles, GPA, learning habits, sports achievements, and the time span to prepare for championships and exams. The sample involved in this study were active students of the Faculty of Sports Education and Health who had participated in official matches at least at the provincial level, as many as 90 people. Based on the results of the analysis, most students at the Faculty of Sports Education and Health have quite high academic accountability and need to be improved.
