Abstract

Pandemi COVID-19 memberikan implikasi ekonomi, sosial, dan politik tidak saja negara- negara besar akan tetapi hampir seluruh negara di dunia. Rasanya tidak ada satu negarapun yang tidak terdampak pandemi COVID-19 saat ini. Pandemi Covid-19 yang telah berlangsung selama beberapa bulan di Indonesia tentunya telah menimbulkan krisis tidak hanya krisis kesehatan, namun juga krisis ekonomi. Keadaan demikian menyebabkan adanya Pemutusan Hubungan Kerja (PHK) yang menjadi mimpi buruk, dapat dilakukan dengan adanya alasan force majeure akibat pandemi Covid-19, karena hal tersebut telah disebutkan dalam Undang-Undang Nomor 13 Tahun 2003 tentang Ketenagakerjaan, baik telah disepakati dalam perjanjian kerja, peraturan perusahaan, dan perjanjian kerja bersama, maupun yang belum disepakati. Namun hal tersebut merupakan ultimum remedium atau jalan terakhir dari penyelesaian masalah yang terjadi.

Abstract

AbstrakKegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini muncul dari analisis kebutuhan pemahaman dan kemampuan masyarakat untuk menangani tantangan dan memanfaatkan peluang yang berdasar pada dinamika geolokal dan geoekonomi. Peserta diajak untuk mempelajari konsep penting tentang geografi ekonomi dan dampaknya terhadap pembangunan lokal melalui berbagai pelatihan, diskusi, dan studi kasus. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan pada 10 Juni 2024 melalui pendekatan partisipatif yang melibatkan Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Ekonomi Pemuda (STIE Pemuda) sebagai pelaksana dan narasumber kegiatan. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat disasarkan kepada 88 Mahasiswa Program Studi Akuntansi dan Manajemen Unusida. Hasil pretest dan posttest menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil posttest memiliki rata-rata 83,50 dari hasil pretest sebelumnya yakni 46,25. Pelatihan mengantarkan peserta pada sebuah pemahaman strategi dalam menemukan potensi ekonomi lokal, memahami bagaimana tren global mempengaruhi ekonomi lokal, dan mengembangkan strategi untuk meningkatkan daya saing wilayah dalam konteks geoekonomi yang berubah-ubah. Kata kunci: PKM; geolokal; geoekonomi; pelatihan. AbstractThis community service activity emerged from an analysis of the community's understanding and ability to handle challenges and take advantage of opportunities based on geolocal and geoeconomic dynamics. Participants were invited to learn important concepts about economic geography and its impact on local development through various trainings, discussions, and case studies. This community service activity was carried out on June 10, 2024 through a participatory approach involving Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Ekonomi Pemuda (STIE Pemuda) as the implementer and resource person for the activity.. The community service activity was targeted at 88 Unusida Accounting and Management Study Program Students. The pretest and posttest results showed an increase in the posttest results with an average of 83.50 from the previous pretest results of 46.25. The training led participants to an understanding of strategies in finding local economic potential, understanding how global trends affect the local economy, and developing strategies to increase regional competitiveness in a changing geoeconomic context. Keywords: PKM; geolocal; geoeconomics; training

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keefektifan model Cooperative Learning type Team’s Game Tournament (TGT) pada pembelajaran matematika ditinjau dari kemampuan komunikasi matematis dan toleransi siswa kelas VIII SMP N 1 Sedayu tahun pelajaran 2016/2017. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksprerimen semu dengan pre-postest nonequivalent control group design. Penelitian ini menggunakan dua kelompok, yaitu kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Populasi penelitian mencakup seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP N 1 Sedayu Bantul yang terdiri dari empat kelas. Dari populasi yang ada diambil secara acak dua kelas yaitu VIII A dan VIII C sebagai sampel penelitian. Pembelajaran matematika pada kelas VIII A menggunakan model Cooperative Learning tipe TGT dan pembelajaran pada kelas VIII C menggunakan metode konvensional. Instrumen penelitian ini adalah tes kemampuan komunikasi matematis dan angket toleransi siswa. Untuk menguji keefektifan pembelajaran dengan model Cooperative Learning tipe TGT dan metode konvensional yang ditinjau dari kemampuan komunikasi dan toleransi siswa dalam matematika, digunakan analisis one sample t-tes. Perbandingan Keefektifan model Cooperative Learning tipe TGT dan metode konvensional pada pembelajaran matematika yang ditinjau dari kemampuan komunikasi dan toleransi siswa, data dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji T2 hotteling. Uji-t univariat digunakan untuk menentukan pendekatan yang lebih efektif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkkan bahwa (1) penerapan model Cooperative Learning tipe TGT dan metode konvensional dalam pembelajaran matematika efektif ditinjau dari kemampuan komunikasi dan toleransi siswa, dan (2) Hasil uji lanjut menunjukkan bahwa model Cooperative Learning tipe TGT lebih efektif baik terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis maupun toleransi dibandingkan metode konvensional pada siswa kelas VIII SMPN 1 Sedayu.

Abstract

Background: Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is a disease caused by dengue virus infection. Dengue fever is transmitted by the Aedes aegypti and Aedes albopictus mosquitoes. Based on data in Madiun Regency in 2019 there were 305 sufferers and 4 people died from DHF. The purpose of carrying out community service activities (PKM) and Community Service Lectures (KKN) in Mojorayung Village, Wungu District, Madiun Regency is to provide awareness of healthy living and play an active role in preventing DHF. The method of this PKM is using an approach to the community through socialization and education on prevention of DHF. The community is also invited to play an active role in maintaining cleanliness so that they are not susceptible to dengue. The result of this PKM, the people of Mojorayung Village have begun to experience an increase in living a clean and healthy life. The community also began to actively carry out community service in environmental cleaning activities. Discussion of the PKM activities carried out by students together with STIE Pemuda lecturers, besides being able to help with problems that occur in Mojorayung Village regarding prevention of DHF, can also increase public awareness of the importance of living a clean and healthy life.

Abstract

This study confirms that awards can increase athlete motivation if given with the right approach, such as informative feedback and an environment that supports athlete autonomy. With an effective policy, it is hoped that sports achievements in Bogor Regency can continue to increase, while also providing inspiration for other regions in designing similar policies. Analyzing the influence of budget and implementation on the effectiveness of the policy of awarding young athletes in Bogor Regency. Achievement sports are types that rely on skills to achieve certain targets, with a foundation of science and innovation in sports technology. To achieve optimal performance, an athlete must go through an intensive and focused training process. Without structured training, athletes will not be able to hone the skills needed to achieve their goals. Therefore, proper training management from an early age is very important in developing sports talent.The results of the study showed that partially, the budget variable had a significant effect on the policy with a significance value of 0.018 (p <0.05), while the implementation variable did not have a statistically significant effect. However, simultaneously, the budget and implementation together had a significant effect on the effectiveness of the policy

Abstract

Realistic mathematics learning by utilizing culture as well as integrating technology can be used as an ideal starting point for learning. This study was intended to develop a mobile learning-based mathematics device with a realistic learning approach in the context of the Tedhak Siten ceremony to improve students' critical thinking skills. This type of research was development research that refers to the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The study used the mobile learning application, the pretest, and post-test questions, in accordance with the expert validation questionnaire, the media expert validation questionnaire (3 experts), and the student response questionnaire from 32 students. The results revealed that the validity aspect obtained a good category from the media and material expert validator. It obtained a good category from the media expert validators and material experts. It turned out that the media expert's score was 58 and the material expert's 192. Both scores were in a Good category, thus the application was declared valid to be used. Furthermore, the practical aspect of students as users obtained a total score of 2055 and was included in the good category. The effectiveness aspect obtained a significant increase in pretest to posttest scores. It was obtained that the increase in the results of the pretest to the results of the posttest was 24.46. Since there is an increase in testing, it can be concluded that the mobile learning developed is effectively used for learning mathematics. Based on the results, mobile learning has met all the product quality criteria, namely valid, practical, and effective. Therefore, mobile learning with a realistic approach to mathematics using the Tedhak Siten ceremony can improve students' critical thinking skills and can be used for learning.

Abstract

Srikandi Tempe Chips is engaged in the small food industry at this time, Srikandi Tempe Chips companies are competing in very tight competition in retaining customers. So, companies must really consider marketing strategies in order to improve product quality. The type of research used in this study is a qualitative approach, which aims to find out a good marketing strategy, which is associated with the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats owned by UMKM KSM Berkah in increasing turnover and product quality. From the results of this study that has been carried out, it shows that Srikandi Tempe Chips are successful in implementing marketing strategies using SWOT analysis.

Abstract

This research aimed to analyze the effect of sales growth and firm size against tax avoidance on manufacturing companies registered in BEI for the period 2018-2020. The populations used in this study were 26 food and beverage sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) in 2018-2020. The sample selected based on the purposive sampling method of 17 companies. The analysis technique used in this research is descriptive statistical analysis, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing. The result of the analysis showed that sales growth has no significant effect partially on tax avoidance. This means that the company's sales growth has no effect on tax avoidance. Firm size has a significant negative effect partially on tax avoidance. This means that the larger a company is, the lower the practice of tax avoidance. Meanwhile, sales growth and company size simultaneously have a positive effect on tax avoidance.

Abstract

Conceptual understanding and active participation are two essential elements in establishing a high-quality mathematics learning process. Unfortunately, conventional teaching methods that do not accommodate diverse learning styles often hinder the achievement of both aspects. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the SAVI (Somatic, Auditory, Visual, and Intellectual) learning model through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach in enhancing students' conceptual understanding and engagement. Analysis of fifteen scientific articles reveals that the implementation of the SAVI model consistently produces positive outcomes in achieving learning objectives, both in the cognitive and affective domains. This model has been proven to accommodate various student learning styles, improve classroom interaction, and deepen students’ meaningful understanding of mathematical concepts. Therefore, the SAVI learning model is recommended as an alternative strategy for designing more effective and relevant mathematics instruction.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of mathematics learning using an ethnomathematics approach in improving students' conceptual understanding of quadrilaterals in grade VII at SMP Negeri 3 Godean. The research design was quasi-experimental with a one-sample pretest-posttest control group. Two classes were involved: VIIA as the control group and VIIC as the experimental group. The instruments used were pretest and posttest. The ethnomathematics approach linked geometric concepts to local culture, specifically the Joglo house in Yogyakarta. The results showed that the average posttest score of the experimental group increased by 15.19 points, indicating a significant improvement in conceptual understanding. In contrast, the control group, which used conventional teaching methods, showed less improvement. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that mathematics learning with an ethnomathematics approach is effective in enhancing students' understanding of quadrilaterals. This approach makes learning more relevant to local culture, making it more engaging and meaningful for students.
