Abstract

AbstractThe development of E-Learning is based on the development of IPTEK as a resource for the fulfillment of core competencies in curriculum 2013 which facilitate students and teachers in the learning process. The research uses R&D  design, based  from cognitive loads theory with the Borg & Gall development model. The steps are: research and information collection, research planning, initial product development, preliminary field test involving 4 students, revision of preliminary field test result, wider field test involving 8 students, test revision A field, a feasibility test involving 32 students, and a revision of the feasibility of a trial subject in research is a grade VIII student of SMP Negeri 1 Mlati, Kab. Sleman, D.I. Yogyakarta. Data is collected through polls and observations during trials, and then research results are analyzed with quantitative descriptive analysis techniques. Media expert responses get an average score of 3.91. While the responses of the material experts acquired an average score of 3.60 showed a Moodle-based e-learning is decent in terms of media and worthy of material terms. The results of the study on field implementation test show that all students of class VIII C percentage of class submission are above 86%. The results of the students ' responses to small and large scale trials showed that the majority of students gave positive feedback on learning activities using LMS Moodle-based e-learning media. LMS Moodle's final e-learning product contains material, video links, ppt links, quizzes, articles around mathematical numeral patterns, chat and discussion forums. Thus, from the test results of the implementation of the field can be concluded that E-learning based on LMS Moodle Mathematics learning for students of grade VIII C SMP Negeri 1 Mlati, with material "number pattern" is feasible as one of the sources Study both individually and in groups. Keywords: Development of E-learning, LMS Moodle, Cognitive Loads TheoryMathematics, Numbers Pattern

Abstract

AbstrakTerwujudnya “Museum Batik di Pekalongan” yaitu untuk menjadi tempat pelestarian batik sebagai warisan budaya Indonesia, sehingga dapat meningkatkan minat masyarakat terhadap batik Indonesia. Kain batik adalah koleksi utama dari “Museum Batik di Pekalongan” dengan usia pembuatan yang berbeda-beda. Koleksi kain batik yang tersedia di museum mencapai hingga seribu lembar, dimana setengahnya adalah kain batik dengan ragam hias dan warna khas Batik Pekalongan. Salah satu tujuan didirikannya “Museum Batik di Pekalongan” yaitu untuk memberikan informasi tentang batik yang dapat dengan mudah diakses oleh user. Sebagai pusat informasi tentang batik, maka koleksi kain-kain batik sebagai obyek utama di “Museum Batik di Pekalongan” harus dijaga dan dipelihara keberadaannya. Pendokumentasian kain-kain Batik Pekalongan yang mencapai lebih dari lima ratus helai di “Museum Batik di Pekalongan” yang memiliki waktu produksi dari tahun 1900 hingga tahun 2000 perlu dilakukan secara digital, agar koleksi Batik Pekalongan sebagai salah satu budaya tak benda warisan manusia (intangible cultural heritage of humanity) tetap dapat dimanfaatkan bagi kepentingan dunia ilmu pengetahuan dalam skala lokal, nasional dan internasional, tanpa merusak kain-kain batik tersebut. Untuk urgensi tersebut, maka solusi dilaksanakan melalui Tahap Pendokumentasian secara Fotografi dan Tahap Pendokumentasian secara Digital. Kata kunci : digitalisasi fotografi, kain batik, museum batik di pekalongan.

Abstract

Covid-19 pandemic may pose a factor that reduces learners’ motivation. The present study aims to investigate the differences between demotivation factors of public and private high school EFL learners during the Covid-19 pandemic. The present study applies a quantitative method to obtain its data by distributing a set of questionnaires adapted from Sakai and Kikuchi (2009) to 61 high school students from public and private high schools. The findings indicate that both groups of learners are mostly demotivated by inadequate school facilities, test scores, and teachers’ competence and teaching styles. It can be said that despite the differences in teaching location, learners may be demotivated by the same variables. Therefore, it seems imperative for teachers and teaching institutions to provide better school facilities, reduce learners’ anxiety during tests, and improve teachers’ competence and teaching styles to overcome students’ demotivation.  DOI: 10.26905/enjourme.v6i2.6519

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan media pembelajaran matematika virtual berbasis TGT yang berkualitas baik dan layak untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran matematika dan mendeskripsikan seberapa baik kualitas perangkat pembelajaran matematika yang dihasilkan. Kriteria kualitas yang digunakan mengacu pada kriteria Nieveen, yaitu valid, praktis dan efektif. Materi yang dikembangkan adalah materi Bangun Ruang Sisi Datar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan (Development research). Penelitian ini mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran matematika dengan menggunakan model pengembangan yang diadaptasi dari model pengembangan ADDIE. Tahap-tahap yang dilalui sampai diperoleh multimedia pembelajaran matematika yang valid, praktis dan efektif adalah analisis kebutuhan dan perumusan tujuan, desain/pengembangan produk, uji coba, revisi dan kajian produk akhir. Uji coba yang dilakukan meliputi ujicoba ahli/validasi ahli (expert judgement), uji coba kelompok kecil (small group try-out) dan uji coba lapangan (field try-out). Uji coba lapangan (field try-out) dilakukan pada dua kelasVIII di SMP N 1 Sedayu. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah lembar validasi, lembar penilaian guru, lembar penilaian siswa, dan tes Cognitive Load Theory (CLT). Penelitian ini menghasilkan media pembelajaran matematika virtual yang berkualitas dan layak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa multimedia pembelajaran matematika yang dikembangkan valid, praktis dan efektif.

Abstract

This study aims to find out empirical data from the analysis of Electronic School Books (BSE) for students of Class IX Middle Semester I. There are 3 (three) triangles elements, namely the vertex, angle and length of the sides of the triangle, each consisting of 3 (three). But to determine the existence of a triangle requires only two elements, namely the angle and length of the sides of the triangle. However, not the two elements that are used to determine the existence of a triangle, but each must be known. To determine it enough to know 3 (three) elements of the two elements, namely: a. The length of the three sides, b. The length of both sides and one of its angles, c. The length of one side and the size of both angles. The results of the study based on literature review found an error that the BSE Student Mathematics book for class IX contained a triangular image error with 5 elements of two elements (3 side lengths and 2 angles) which proved impossible after analysis using painting and trigonometric calculations.

Abstract

Cooperative learning is the type of Team's Games Tournament (TGT) which is a learning model in which there are stages such as games which can make the students communicate mathematically, more creative, have a positive attitude towards mathematics, and appropriate in solving mathematical problems. But in fact, communication skills and problem solving that should be owned by the students as a result of the learning process of mathematics meet the minimum completeness criteria (KKM). This study aims to describe the effectiveness of Cooperative learning of TGT type at mathematics learning in terms of communication skills and problem solving in class VIII SMP N 1 Seyegan the school year 2016/2017.  This research is a quasi ekspreriment research with pre-posttest nonequivalent control group design. This study uses two groups: the experimental group and the control group. The population study includes all students of class VIII which consists of four classes. From the existing population, it is drawn randomly two classes, namely VIII A and VIII C as samples. Mathematics Learning in class VIII A (experimental group) uses TGT type Cooperative learning and mathematics learning in class VIII C (control group) uses direct instruction. The instrument of this study is testing the communication and problem solving capability. To test the effectiveness of the study, it is used the analysis of one sample t-test. Whereas the T2 test hotteling is foolowed by univariate t-test which is used to determine more effective model. The result of research indicates that: (1) Cooperative learning of TGT-type and direct instruction in mathematics is effective in terms of communication skills and problem-solving; and (2) Cooperative learning of TGT type is more effective than direct instruction type in term of communication skill in class VIII SMPN 1 Seyegan. Keywords: TGT, mathematical communication, problem solving

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana pelaksanaan penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek pada materi lingkaran dan mendeskripsikan bagaimana persepsi siswa tentang model pembelajaran berbasis proyek materi lingkaran pada siswa SMP negeri 2 Godean kelas VIII yang terdiri dari beberapa aspek, yaitu: (1) kesesuaian model pembelajaran terhadap materi yang diajarkan, (2) kreativitas belajar siswa, (3) hasil belajar siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian survey dengan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan menggunakan desain penelitian survey descriptive design.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan media pembelajaran matematika virtual berbasis Android  ditinjau dari kemampuan komunikasi dan adaptive e-learning yang valid, praktis, dan efektif. Media pembelajaran matematika virtual yang dihasilkan berbasis Android pada materi pokok bilangan dibuat dengan bantuan software Appy Pie yang berisikan teks, gambar, video, link, dan game interaktif. Prosedur pengembangan media matematika virtual menggunakan 5 tahapan yaitu analisis, perancangan, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Uji coba yang dilakukan meliputi ujicoba ahli/validasi ahli (expert judgement), uji coba kelompok kecil (small group try-out) dan uji coba lapangan (field try-out). Uji coba lapangan (field try-out) dilakukan pada dua kelas X di SMA N 1 Sedayu. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah lembar validasi, lembar penilaian kepraktisan oleh guru, lembar penilaian kepraktisan oleh siswa, dan instrumen tes keefektifan media. Analisis data dilakukan dengan mengkonversi total skor data kuantitatif yang diperoleh menjadi data kualitatif skala lima. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa media matematika virtual berbasis Android dengan berbantukan software Appy Pie memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis dan efektif ditinjau dari kemampuan komunikasi dan adaptive e learning.

Abstract

Problem-solving is an essential ability that must be achieved by each individual and problem-solving itself has become integral part of mathematics learning. However, many Indonesian students need problem-solving skills. Android-based learning media is one of the efforts in improving students' problem-solving skills.  This study aims to find out the effectiveness of the use of android-based learning media called Teman Ritma. This research is kind of experimental research in the form of true-experimental with a design namely pretest post-test control group design.  The sample is determined using purposive sampling techniques and produces a sample i.e., class VII-G students as a control group and class VII-H students as an experimental group with the number of students from each group is 30 students. Data collection techniques use observations, interviews, pretest questions and post-test problem-solving skills that contain social arithmetic material. The results showed that the use of android based learning media “Teman Ritma” was effective in improving students' problem-solving skills. This statement is proved by the results of the Mann-Whitney test which shows that Asymp's value. Sig. (2-tailed) less than 0.05 (0.027 0.05) which means that learning with Teman Ritma media is more effective than using the learning media that teachers use. This conclusion was reinforced based on an average difference test that showed that the average increase in the experimental group was higher than that of the control group (60.12 45). Based on the test, it concluded that the use of android-based learning media “Teman Ritma” is effective to improve the problem-solving skills of seventh-grade students of SMP Negeri 5 Yogyakarta.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan diperolehnya deskripsi kajian matematika dalam gamelan jawa karawitan khususnya alat-alat musik dengan pendekatan STEM. Melalui pembelajaran berbasis STEM siswa dapat menguasai pengetahuan, sikap, dan keterampilan mengidentifikasi pertanyaan dan masalah dalam kehidupan siswa, menjelaskan fenomena alam, merancang dan menarik kesimpulan berdasarkan bukti tentang masalah yang terkait budaya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan etnografi yaitu mendeskripsikan alat musik gamelan sebagai media pembelajaran di Sekolah khususya Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Kesenian.  Prosedur penelitian kualitatif model etnografi dimulai dengan menetapkan seorang guru sebagai informan kunci (key informant), melakukan wawancara, pengamatan alat-alat musik karawitan jawa, dan memulai mengajukan pertanyaan deskriptif. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis domain, yaitu memperoleh gambaran umum dan menyeluruh dari alat-alat musik karawitan sebagai objek penelitian, kemudian mengkaji secara matematika dengan pendekatan STEM, yaitu mengindentifikasi objek, merencanakan dan melakukan penyelidikan, menganalisis dan menginterpretasikan data, dan membuat sebuah kesimpulan secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adanya keterkaitan antara alat musik gamelan jawa karawitan dengan pembelajaran  matematika. Terutama pada kajian unsur-unsur  dan sifat yang memiliki bentuk lingkaran, trapesium, persegi panjang, tabung, balok,  bola, dan kerucut.  Kajian sifat-sifat alat musik gamelan karawitan jawa  kemudian disesuaikan dengan Kompetensi Dasar SMK Kejuruan Kesenian, sehingga dapat dijadikan media pembelajaran matematika dikelas.
