Abstract

Penyakit Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD) merupakan ancaman kesehatan serius di Desa Talawi Hilie, yang seringkali dipicu oleh rendahnya kesadaran masyarakat akan pentingnya pencegahan. Program Kuliah Kerja Nyata tujuannya untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesadaran masyarakat desa tentang pencegahan DBD menggunakan strategi 3M Plus (Menguras, Menutup, Mendaur Ulang, dan tindakan tambahan seperti penggunaan larvasida). Metode yang digunakan meliputi sosialisasi dan penyuluhan kepada warga desa melalui platform digital seperti Youtube dan Instagram, presentasi interaktif, demonstrasi praktik, serta evaluasi dengan sesudah kegiatan.Hasilnya menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman warga meningkat tentang strategi 3M Plus.Program ini berhasil memberikan dampak positif berupa penurunan risiko DBD melalui penerapan kebiasaan sehat dan preventif.

Abstract

Learning in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution requires innovation in learning, one of which is through learning media. E module is a learning media that is more efficient and flexible than conventional media. E-modules that are integrated with appropriate learning models can help achieve optimal learning outcomes. This research aims to develop an electronic module (e-module) for Computer Network Practicum based on Problem-Based Learning (PBL) and Peer Tutoring (PT) and test its effectiveness in enhancing 21st-century skills among students. The research method applied is Research and Development (R&D), with module validity and practicality evaluated by experts and students. Effectiveness testing is conducted by comparing post-test results between the experimental group using PBL and PT e-modules and the control group using conventional worksheets. The research findings indicate that the developed e-module has strong validity, is easy to implement, and is effective in improving 21st-century skills among students. The post-test results of the experimental group are also significantly higher than those of the control group. The implications of this research are significant contributions to the development of technology-based teaching materials to enhance the quality of computer network practicum learning. The implementation of PBL and PT strategies in the e-module can be an effective alternative in designing teaching materials oriented towards the development of 21st-century skills, serving as a guide for educators and curriculum developers to enhance innovative learning approaches across various subjects.

Abstract

Industry 4.0 marks a significant transformation in production processes through the use of digital technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT) and big data analysis, which enables high efficiency and communication between devices. However, this progress also affects Generation Z, who is very connected to digital technology, presenting challenges in the form of dependence on gadgets. To overcome this problem, it is important to create activities that divert attention from technology, while encouraging creativity. One of the proposed solutions is training in handicrafts from used goods. Through a program carried out at the Darul Ma'arif Al-Karimiyah Orphanage, Padang, this training aims to increase children's creativity by recycling inorganic waste into valuable products. The 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) approach is used to teach environmentally sound waste management. As a result, children are expected to be able to produce useful work and improve the quality of life without relying on digital technology. The methods used are observation, outreach and practical training, with material covering the dangers of gadget addiction and waste recycling techniques. The results of the training showed an increase in children's creativity, who were able to produce products such as tissue holders, wall hangings and photo frames. The results of the feedback given to orphanage children showed that 90% of respondents stated that they strongly agreed with the training activities that had been carried out.

Abstract

The primary issue in technology-based learning assessment is the limited ability of teachers to utilize and develop gamification methods. Most teachers still rely on manual, paper-based evaluation techniques, resulting in suboptimal integration of technology in the assessment process. This challenge necessitates further exploration by education practitioners regarding the implementation of information technology (IT) in learning, particularly for MGMP Informatics teachers. This community engagement program, titled "Development of Internet-Based Testing (IBT) Using Gamification Learning Methods", was conducted at SMPN 1 Tanah Datar. The objectives of this program were to: (1) enhance technological literacy in the education sector; (2) strengthen interest and skills in technology literacy among MGMP Informatics teachers at the junior high school level in Tanah Datar Regency; and (3) improve teachers' ability to design internet-based assessment instruments using a gamification approach. The program was implemented using a participatory approach, comprising training sessions, interactive workshops, and hands-on practice in developing internet-based assessment tools. Participants were introduced to various digital evaluation platforms, such as Google Forms, Quizizz, and Kahoot, and were trained on how to integrate gamification elements into learning assessments. The results indicated that 85% of participants showed an improvement in their understanding and skills in utilizing internet-based assessment technology. Additionally, teachers began adopting gamification methods in assessments, leading to increased student engagement in the learning process. This initiative is expected to encourage teachers to continuously develop innovative and interactive assessment methods aligned with technological advancements in education.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi telah meningkatkan layanan publik di berbagai bidang, termasuk rumah sakit. Namun, antrian pada layanan rawat jalan tetap menjadi tantangan akibat keterbatasan kapasitas dan proses administrasi manual. RSUD Pasaman Barat menerapkan sistem pendaftaran online berbasis WhatsApp, namun sistem ini kurang efektif karena petugas masih harus memasukkan data secara manual. Penelitian ini mengembangkan aplikasi berbasis web menggunakan metode SDLC Fountain untuk mempercepat proses pendaftaran pasien rawat jalan. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan aplikasi ini berhasil menurunkan waktu tunggu pasien dan meningkatkan efisiensi operasional dengan skor kelayakan 95% dari ahli, yang menunjukkan fungsionalitas dan desain yang ramah pengguna. Aplikasi ini dinilai cocok untuk diimplementasikan dalam operasional rumah sakit guna mendukung peningkatan kualitas pelayanan kesehatan.Kata kunci : Pendaftaran rawat jalan, SDLC Fountain, Laravel, Website, Pengujian Black boxThe development of information technology has enhanced public services in various fields, including hospitals. However, queuing for outpatient services remains a challenge due to limited capacity and manual administrative processes. RSUD Pasaman Barat implemented an online registration system via WhatsApp, but it is less effective as staff still need to manually enter data. This study developed a web-based application using the SDLC Fountain method to expedite the outpatient registration process. Testing results show that this application successfully reduces patient waiting times and improves operational efficiency, with a feasibility score of 95% from experts, indicating user-friendly functionality and design. Abstract

Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) adalah kegiatan di luar kampus yang digagas oleh Menteri Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan dengan tujuan mendorong mahasiswa agar dapat menguasai berbagai bidang ilmu sebagai bekal dalam memasuki dunia kerja. Sistem informasi  MBKM ini dibuat menggunakan informasi berbasis web, dengan tujuan untuk menghasilkan rancangan Sistem Informasi Kegiatan MBKM pada Departemen Teknik Elektronika FT UNP. Perancangan Sistem Informasi Kegiatan MBKM Pada Departemen Teknik Elektronika FT UNP merupakan visualisasi pemodelan UML (Unified Modeling Language) menggunakan sejumlah diagram visualisasi berorientasi objek. Bahasa pemrograman yang digunakan adalah bahasa pemrograman PHP  (PHP Hypertext Processor) berbasis framework Laravel, dengan MySQL sebagai Database Management System (DBMS). Sistem Informasi MBKM membantu Departemen Teknik Elektronika FT UNP dalam menyediakan informasi terkait program MBKM, memeriksa konversi mata kuliah, serta membantu mahasiswa dalam pengajuan bukti lulus dan bukti penyelesaian program MBKM. Sistem informasi untuk Kegiatan MBKM pada Departemen Teknik Elektronik FT UNP dapat memberikan informasi MBKM yang tersedia melalui web.Kata kunci : Sistem Informasi, MBKM Departemen Teknik Elektronika, Web, Laravel. Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) is an off-campus activity initiated by the Minister of Education and Culture with the aim of encouraging students to master various fields of knowledge as a preparation for entering the workforce. This MBKM information system is created using web-based information, with the goal of producing a design for the MBKM Activity Information System in the Department of Electronic Engineering at FT UNP. The design of the MBKM Activity Information System in the Department of Electronic Engineering at FT UNP is a visualization of UML (Unified Modeling Language) modeling using a number of object-oriented visualization diagrams. The programming language used is PHP (PHP Hypertext Processor) based on the Laravel framework, with MySQL as the Database Management System (DBMS). The MBKM Information System helps the Department of Electronic Engineering at FT UNP in providing information related to the MBKM program, checking course conversions, and assisting students in submitting proof of graduation and proof of completion of the MBKM program. Abstract

In the era of rapid technological advancement and dynamic labor market demands, equipping vocational students with the right competencies for employability is more crucial than ever. This study explores how academic achievement, information technology proficiency, and organizational experience shape the work readiness of students in vocational education settings. Using a robust Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) approach via SmartPLS, data were collected from students at SMK Negeri 1 Linggo Sari Baganti. The results show that all three variables significantly and positively affect students' readiness for the workforce. More notably, organizational experience emerges as a key mediating factor, amplifying the influence of both academic performance and IT proficiency. This finding highlights a critical yet often overlooked aspect of employability preparation in vocational education. By integrating academic rigor, digital literacy, and active organizational participation, schools can foster a more holistic readiness among students for real-world challenges. This study contributes a fresh empirical model and offers strategic insights for policymakers and educators to design future-ready vocational curricula.

Abstract

In the rapidly evolving digital era, information technology has fundamentally transformed the way businesses operate. The utilization of the Internet and mobile devices has enabled businesses to create online platforms that facilitate business transactions more efficiently and provide greater accessibility to customers. Companies that fail to harness the potential of online business may miss valuable opportunities to reach customers and increase sales. To address these challenges, the author argues that a computerized system capable of addressing these issues is crucial. A solution is needed to streamline data processing and access while reducing error rates in the design of Diana Pharmacy's online store. The application's theme is crafted in the form of a program code to present a user-friendly interface with the system. Based on the results of the design of Diana Pharmacy's online store application, the availability of the website-based Diana Pharmacy online store will increase Diana Pharmacy's sales while benefiting Diana Pharmacy's customers. It is concluded that this occurs. This online store application is directly managed by the owner of Diana Pharmacy, and its data and confidentiality are maintained. An online store application tailored to the times, utilizing the functionality of payment gateways that facilitate the buying and selling process at Diana Pharmacy's online store.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of Augmented Reality (AR)-based learning media on Informatics learning outcomes at SMK Negeri 1 Bukittinggi, a vocational school recognized as a Centre of Excellence. Using a quasi-experimental pretest-posttest control group design, the study involved 70 tenth-grade students, divided into an experimental group (receiving AR-based learning media) and a control group (receiving traditional methods). The AR-based learning media focused on abstract Informatics concepts, such as algorithms and computer hardware, through interactive and immersive experiences. Results showed a significant improvement in the experimental group, with a mean post-test score difference of 7.31 points (p < 0.001). Statistical tests confirmed that the data met the assumptions of normality and homogeneity. Grounded in the cognitive theory of multimedia learning, the study highlights AR’s potential to enhance engagement, comprehension, and knowledge retention by integrating theoretical and practical knowledge. Despite limitations, such as a focus on cognitive outcomes and reliance on technological infrastructure, the research highlights AR’s transformative role in vocational education. Future studies should explore AR’s scalability in under-resourced settings, its long-term effects, and its applicability across several disciplines.
