Abstract

When learning English, especially vocabulary for young learners, it's a good idea to use media that can capture children's attention. However, using media is not always possible or realistic for a teacher in the classroom because the use of media depends on the learning material to be conveyed to students. In teaching vocabulary, songs can be used as a good way to introduce new vocabulary to students, so that they can understand words or lessons easily and clearly. Songs that can contain information, such as words or numbers, either in one stanza or the entire song and are used in class or private study. Before this lesson, the vocabulary of students, especially about human body parts and also the names of animals in English is very limited. After this lesson, the vocabulary of students will increase, especially the vocabulary of human body parts and also the names of animals in English. It is proven that the additional learning obtained through community service activities carried out by the author can improve students' English skills, especially students' English vocabulary.

Abstract

Sosialisasi ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan memberikan pemahaman kepada masyarakat tentang dampak penggunaan media sosial terhadap perilaku sosial remaja di Desa Rianiate, Kecamatan Pangururan, Kabupaten Samosir. Dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, kegiatan ini melibatkan wawancara mendalam dengan 10 remaja aktif pengguna media sosial dan 10 orang tua mereka, serta observasi langsung terhadap perilaku sosial remaja di media sosial. Hasil sosialisasi menunjukkan bahwa media sosial memiliki dampak positif dan negatif yang signifikan terhadap perilaku sosial remaja di desa tersebut. Di sisi positif, media sosial memberikan akses informasi yang lebih luas, mendukung kreativitas, dan mempererat komunikasi antarremaja meskipun terpisah jarak. Namun, di sisi negatif, terdapat paparan terhadap konten berbahaya seperti kekerasan, pornografi, dan informasi palsu, yang dapat merusak pola pikir remaja. Selain itu, penggunaan media sosial juga dapat menyebabkan perilaku berisiko, seperti prostitusi, serta gangguan kesehatan mental seperti kecemasan dan depresi. Perubahan pola interaksi sosial juga teramati, di mana remaja lebih memilih berinteraksi di dunia maya daripada berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan sosial tradisional desa, seperti gotong royong dan acara adat. Sosialisasi ini juga menekankan pentingnya peningkatan literasi digital di kalangan remaja dan orang tua, serta pengawasan yang lebih ketat dari keluarga dan sekolah untuk mengurangi dampak negatif penggunaan media sosial.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of using Differentiated Learning on student learning outcomes in Topic B: Photosynthesis, the Most Important Process on Earth in class IV of Budi Mulia Binjohara Private Elementary School for the 2023/2024 academic year. In this research, quantitative research methods and pre-experimental research were used. The population of this research was the entire fourth grade of Budi Mulia Binjohara Private Elementary School, totaling 22 students. Sampling was taken using saturated sampling and the sample used was class IV, totaling 22 students. To determine students' initial abilities, this researcher conducted a PreTest with an average score of 59.09 which was in the category of not meeting the learning objectives. Then the results of the PostTest have increased from the PreTest results given previously with the average student score reaching 82 in the good category. The level of success in student learning outcomes has increased as evidenced by the results of the correlation test calculation which was obtained at 0.661, which means r count (0.661) > r table (432). Next is hypothesis testing (t-test) where t count ≥ t table, namely 3.940 ≥ 2.060 so that it can be stated that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. This shows that there is a significant positive influence from the use of differentiated learning on student learning outcomes on topic B Photosynthesis, the Most Important Process on Earth in class IV of Budi Mulia Binjohara Private Elementary School for the 2023/2024 Academic Year.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui upaya peningkatan hasil belajar ipas materi Tata Surya dengan media ajar audio visual berbantuan canva kelas VI SDN 066050 Medan Denai. Rancangan penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian pre eksperiment dengan menggunakan satu kelas eksperimen untuk melihat hasil belajar siswa. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah desain One Group Pretest-Posttest. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 25 siswa kelas VI UPT SDN 066050 Medan Denai. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan reduksi data, paparan data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa pembelajaran dengan media audio-visual berbantuan canva dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Peningkatan tersebut dapat dilihat pada rata-rata hasil belajar siswa mulai dari tes awal yaitu 68,69 kategori sangat rendah, kemudian pada siklus I meningkat menjadi 89,56 kategori rendah, dan pada siklus II meningkat lagi menjadi 100 dengan kategori tinggi. Adapun N-gain yang diperoleh dari peningkatan tes awal ke tes siklus I yaitu 0,71 atau dalam kategori sedang dan N-gain yang diperoleh dari peningkatan tes siklus I ke tes siklus II yaitu 1,00 atau dalam kategori tinggi. Dengan adanya peningkatan hasil dari siklus I ke siklus II menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media audio-visual berbantuan canva dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of the Problem Based Learning learning model on students' critical thinking abilities, science and technology learning content for class IV Kartika Private Elementary School 1-2 in the 2023/2024 academic year. The research method used is an experimental method with a quantitative research type. To obtain the data required a test instrument of 30 questions. The total research sample was 34 students based on purposive sampling technique. To determine students' initial abilities, the research conducted a Pre Test with an average score of 52.55 which was in the poor category. The results of the Post Test have improved from the Pre Test results given previously with the students' average score reaching 75.52 in the good category. It can be said that the level of success in students' critical thinking has increased as evidenced by the results of the correlation coefficient test calculation, which obtained r_count ≥ r_tabel with results of 0.610 ≥ 0.339. Next, hypothesis testing is comparing the t_count≥ t_table values. The obtained value of t_count = 4.357 while t_table = 1.690. Because t_count ≤ t_table (4.357 ≥ 1.690) then H_a is accepted and H_o is rejected. Through the t-test, it can be concluded that there is a significant positive influence between the problem based learning model on students' critical thinking abilities.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the video-based Auditory, Intellectually, Repetition (AIR) learning models on class IV students science learning outcomes UPTD SDN 122358 Siantar Martoba 2023/2024. The research method used is an experimental method with a quantitative research type. To obtain the data required a test instrument of 25 questions. The total research sample was 30 students based on purposive sampling technique. To determine students' initial abilities, the research conducted a Pre Test with an average score of 50.13 which was included in the poor category. The results of the Post Test have improved from the Pre Test results given previously with the students' average score reaching 79.47 in the good category. It can be said that the level of success in student learning outcomes has increased as evidenced by the results of the correlation coefficient test calculation, the results obtained were r_count ≥ r_tabel with results of 0.819 ≥ 0.361. Next, hypothesis testing compares the t_count ≥ t_table value. The obtained value of t_count = 7.552 while t_table = 2.048. Because t_count ≥ t_table (7.552 ≥ 2.048) then H_a is accepted and H_o is rejected. Abstract

The research applies the TGT learning model. The TGT learning model is directed towards a group learning model, which applies students working together with each other in a group led by one of the students, who is able to take responsibility in the group. This research uses a quantitative research approach. The population of this research are all class IV students SD Negeri 064023 Medan Tuntungan with a total of 25 students. Non-probability sampling was taken using samples and a sample of 25 students was obtained. The results of the research show that student learning outcomes using the TGT type learning model are in the good category with an average of 82.72. Results correlation coefficient (r_xy) or r_count = 0.623 with a significance level of 5% with the number of respondents (n) = 25 students so that r_table = 0.396. From the results of these calculations it shows that 0.623 ≥ 0.396 with student learning outcomes which has a strong relationship, it can be It was concluded that there was an influence between the TGT learning model on the learning outcomes of fourth grade students at SD Negeri 064023 Medan Tuntungan. Based on the results of the hypothesis test (t-test) with a value of t_count ≥ t_table, namely 3.824 ≥ 1.708 at a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05. These data can shows that Ha is accepted, namely that there is an influence between the TGT type cooperative learning model (X) and student learning outcomes (Y).

Abstract

This research is an experimental research which aims to find out the inquiry learning model on student learning outcomes. This research was conducted at SDN 101906 Pagar Jati. This research method is the Pre-Exprimental Design experimental method by providing pretests, posttests and questionnaires. The results of statistical calculations show that learning outcomes increase by using the inquiry learning model in the very good category with an average score of 82,24, whereas without using the inquiry learning model it is included in the failure category with an average score of 49,76. It is said to have increased as evidenced by the results of the correlation coefficient calculation of 0,852, meaning r_(hitung ) (0,852) ≥ r_(tabel ) (0,396). Therefore, there is a strong influence of the Inquiry learning model on learning outcomes. Judging from the t test, it is 7,821 ≥ 2,069 thus Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. This shows that there is a significant positive influence of the use of the inquiry learning model on the learning outcomes of class V students at SDN 101906 Pagar Jati Lubuk Pakam for the 2023/2024 academic year.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the influence of discipline and student learning outcomes in learning using the reward and punishment method in class III. This research is quantitative using descriptive methods. The research population was class III students at SDN 015931 Padang Mahondang, totaling 103 students. Samples were taken using Random Sampling techniques and were obtained from class III, totaling 30 students. The results of this research show that student learning outcomes are in the very good category with 80.1. The results of this research show that the correlation test shows that the correlation coefficient is rcount (0.938) ≥ rtable (0.361), so ha is accepted. So there is a very strong influence between discipline and student learning outcomes using the Reward and Punishment method in class III at SDN 015931 Padang Mahondang. It can also be seen from the t-test where tcount≥ ttable is 14.336 ≥ 2.042, thus stating that ha is accepted. This shows that there is a significant positive influence on the discipline and learning outcomes of students using the Reward and Punishment method in class III of SDN 015931 Padang Mahondang for the 2023/2024 academic year.

Abstract

Program Asistensi Mengajar merupakan bagian dari kebijakan Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) yang memberikan kesempatan kepada mahasiswa untuk berkontribusi langsung dalam proses pembelajaran di sekolah dasar. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan di SD Negeri 065012 Medan Tuntungan selama Tahun Pelajaran 2024/2025. Mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar (PGSD) terlibat aktif dalam berbagai kegiatan, seperti observasi kelas, penyusunan perangkat ajar, pelaksanaan pembelajaran tematik, pemanfaatan media digital, serta tugas-tugas administrasi sekolah. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogik dan profesionalisme mahasiswa, sekaligus membantu sekolah dalam meningkatkan kualitas proses pembelajaran. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa kehadiran mahasiswa memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap dinamika pembelajaran di kelas, meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa, serta memperkuat sinergi antara perguruan tinggi dan sekolah mitra. Kegiatan ini membuktikan bahwa pelibatan mahasiswa dalam dunia pendidikan dasar tidak hanya memberikan pengalaman belajar yang bermakna, tetapi juga berdampak langsung pada penguatan mutu pendidikan di tingkat sekolah dasar.
